This is my new favorite photo ^^ of Taylor Swift. It?s like she thought the red carpet for the ACMs was a catwalk and she was working that bitch for all it was worth. Anyway, Taylor is currently 24 years old. She?s been a celebrity and a working musician/songwriter for almost a decade. She?s headlined massive tours and she?s one of the richest women in music today. But does Taylor still have issues with her ?stage parents?? That?s the question Page Six tries to answer. Just FYI: in the past, back when Taylor was 17/18 years old, I heard that her mom was very controlling and micro-managing, but I thought Taylor had sort of outgrown that and she was now in charge of her life/career. But maybe not.
Taylor Swift?s mom and dad are being accused of becoming ?difficult and controlling stage parents? as they assume total power over her career ? even though they have technically separated.
Sources tell Page Six that Scott and Andrea Swift have edged out numerous senior staff members at their company, 13 Management, as well as agents at CAA and WME. Last month, Taylor?s publicist of nearly seven years, Paula Erickson, resigned after giving 60 days? notice. Taylor?s business managers Flood, Bumstead, McCready & McCarthy also resigned last year. She is currently repped by AEG for touring and IMG.
Meanwhile, we?re told that Scott and Andrea live separately and don?t see eye-to-eye.
One source said: ?Taylor?s parents are incredibly difficult to deal with. Their expectations are enormous, and they are very hard to please. They want to pay as little as possible and treat people like s?-?-?t, because they think those people are lucky to have the chance to work with a superstar like Taylor.
?Taylor?s parents think they can do things better, and what makes things complicated is that they no longer live together,? our insider said. ?They are not on the same page and don?t even like to be in the same room. Andrea requests that her husband not be present at meetings. Taylor is incredibly smart and professional, but at some point she?s going to need her parents to stop, before it turns into a total Katherine Heigl ?momager? situation.?
Another source adds that the Swifts? 13 Management has had a revolving door of top staff, managers and department heads. But Taylor has been working with tour manager Robert Allen for years and he is still with her.
Taylor?s parents, who married in 1988, have been living separately but did not divorce ?because they don?t want to damage Taylor?s career,? according to Star. Taylor, who recently moved to a new pad in Tribeca, is currently recording her fifth album. Reps for 13 Management and Taylor?s label, Big Machine, did not comment. Erickson declined to comment.

I remember her publicist leaving, but I didn?t remember the part about Swifty?s business partner resigning last year too. Yes, this is a Katherine Heigl situation and much like Heigl, Taylor is too old for her mommy and daddy to be running the show. Taylor has access to the best management in the industry, and it?s past time for Taylor to call the shots about her career and make her own decisions about who speaks for her. Also: maybe this is what the New York apartment is about. Maybe Taylor?s trying to build a homebase in NYC, away from her mom?

Taylor Swift slapped on a crop top, a dress with a high slit and got her hair did for the Country Music Awards over the weekend.
Swift didn’t perform or win anything. At least I don’t think she did. I didn’t actually watch the awards. I don’t own a raised truck, cowboy hat or spurs so I wasn’t legally allowed to.

Here are some photos from last night?s 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas. You can see the list of winners here ? is it okay if I really don?t care? I?m not invested in country music at all, although I do follow some of the country music celebrities. I?m just saying, though, I couldn?t care less about who wins what in country music. Anyway, here?s country music?s sweetheart Taylor Swift in J. Mendel. Swifty is a HUGE fan of J. Mendel. She wears that label a lot for formal events, to mixed results. Usually J. Mendel makes Swifty?s frothy, girly dresses, but I kind of like the simplicity of this black-and-white dress. It?s a more adult look for her. She doesn?t get enough credit for changing up her ?girly-girl? style the past few years and successfully transitioning to a more mature look.
Here?s Kimberly Perry in Georges Hobeika. Perry is in The Band Perry with her brothers Neil and Reid, they won Vocal Group of The Year. This is a solid look. I prefer this sort of simple, no muss look to big hair/pageant dress look we usually see at country music events.
Here?s Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. Tim is one the names that keeps coming up in Gwyneth Paltrow stories. Do you think Goop and McGraw banged circa 2009? I do not, but you never know. Anyway, it?s good to see Tim and Faith out and about. Faith?s dress is Saint Laurent. This reminds me of something Angelina Jolie would wear. Right? It?s sort of simple and sacky and the blue-grey color is something that she would like. I don?t like what?s happening with the waist? it looks poorly tailored, right? Maybe it should have been worn with some kind of sparkly belt. She?s styled beautifully though.

Making a big splash on the scene, Taylor Swift stepped out at the 2014 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards this evening (April 6).
The ?22? hitmaker hit up Las Vegas? MGM Grand Garden Arena red carpet to pose for photos and greet fans before heading inside for the big event.
As Nashville invades Las Vegas, there are quite a few hopefuls looking to go home with a shiny new ornament for their mantle.
Hoping to take home Female Vocialist of the Year, Taylor will compete against Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, and Carrie Underwood for the title.

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift, out and about in NYC on Friday. She was hanging out with Lily Aldridge, the wife of Caleb Followill and a Victoria?s Secret model in her own right. Why has Swifty been hanging out with so many models lately? First Swifty went on road trip through California with Karlie Kloss, and now she?s doing a Sex & the City brunch with Lily Aldridge?
I actually think the SATC reference is more than apt. It looks like Taylor has bought herself a luxury Tribeca loft, also known as a $20 million shag-pad. The paps got shots of burly men moving Swifty?s stuff into a building in Tribeca on Friday too, and that explains why Taylor has been in New York for more than a week ? she?s been preparing the apartment! Here?s more:
She has a number of luxurious homes across the United States. And now it seems Taylor Swift has added to her extensive property portfolio and snapped up not one but two apartments in New York’s trendy TriBeCa neighbourhood.
The 24-year-old is said to have splashed out around $20 million for the adjacent lofts, which were previously owned by Lord Of The Rings director Peter Jackson. Taylor seemed to avoid any heavy lifting by taking a stroll with Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Aldridge as her belongings were moved into the luxury apartment.
According to The Real Estalker, Taylor may have purchased two lofts in the prestigious building, which also counts Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen among its residents. Speculation mounted after the I Knew You Were Trouble singer was spotted visiting the building several times, shortly after director Peter Jackson listed his two apartments for the combined asking price of $21,500,000.
The smaller of the two dwellings isn’t exactly tiny, boasting three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, while the larger one is a whopping 5,869 square foot penthouse with six bedrooms. Both are tastefully decorated with hardwood floors, exposed beams and wooden columns giving a homey feel. And there’s plenty of space for Taylor to store all her designers threads. A 25 foot long hall lined with 10 closets opens out into a dressing room, while the large master bedroom has a fireplace to snuggle up next to.
Not short of places to lay her head, the pop princess already owns homes in Beverly Hills, California and a penthouse duplex in Nashville, Tennessee, which she considers her main residence. Last year she also splashed out on a $17.75million mansion in the upmarket neighbourhood of Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

It will be interesting to see how much time Taylor spends in NYC in the coming months/years. Will she really try to be a New Yorker? Is she searching for a boyfriend? Will she have a weekly brunch with Samantha, Carrie and Miranda (Swifty is totally Charlotte)? Or is she just expanding her real estate portfolio because she?s an incredibly wealthy woman and she got a good deal on these lofts?

Showing some love for her furry pal, Taylor Swift took her cat for a stroll on Sunday afternoon (March 30) in New York City.
Clad in a classic blue button down and matching blazer, the country cutie toted a cup of Starbucks in one hand and her kitty carrier in the other as she headed off on errands.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the "Our Song" songstress paid a visit to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center last weekend to visit with pediatric patients.
One patient, Shelby Huff, spoke of her excitement when Taylor showed up saying,"It was really exciting, I had no idea she was coming until the morning. I was totally nervous about it.I was shocked I didn't know what to say."
Chiming in, Shelby's mom added, "She was so great at starting conversation. She was so down to earth."

Treating herself to a delicious lunch outing, Taylor Swift made her way to a Manhattan eatery on Friday afternoon (March 28).
The ?I Knew You Were Trouble? hottie was joined by Victoria's Secret stunner Lily Aldridge and looked lovely in a green coat overtop a denim romper with black stockings and maroon ankle boots as she scurried past some shutterbugs.
Meanwhile, Taylor was named to the top of iHeartRadio?s Biggest Celebrity Players poll, determined solely by fan voting.
With 28.8 percent of the vote, Swifty came in ahead of her ex-boyfriends John Mayer (2nd) and Jake Gyllenhaal (5th). Justin Timberlake took #3 while Bradley Cooper scored #4 and Kate Hudson landed at #6.

First, let?s talk about something nice involving Taylor Swift. It?s not difficult, because regardless of what you think about Swifty?s love life and/or her lyrics, she does give back to her fans consistently and thoroughly. Over the weekend, Taylor stopped by the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NYC to visit a young fan with post-transplant lymphoproliferative disease. This kind of makes me feel sorry for Swifty. She was trying to do something nice for a young fan with a debilitating illness, and all of the sick girl?s friends and family members wouldn?t stop trying to jack Swifty?s attention. I mean, props to Taylor for treating the girl like a normal kid (the girl is a normal kid, she?s just sick), but the family is annoying, that?s all I?m saying. Oh, and Taylor was only supposed to stay for like a half an hour but she ended up sticking around the hospital for five hours. Which is awesome.
And now for something sort of mean? Radar claims that Swifty?s ?advisors? are worried that her ?strange personality? is ?driving men away.?

Swift has famously used her bitter breakups as material for her songs, including ?I Knew You Were Trouble,? reportedly written about Mayer, and ?We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,? which allegedly details her breakup from Gyllenhaal. As Radar has reported, her split from Gyllenhaal was perhaps the worst, as he reportedly took her virginity, then didn?t show up for her 21st birthday party!
Now, those who advise Swift want her to take a break from love affairs altogether!

Yeah? she?s hasn?t had a serious boyfriend in more than a year, since the mess with Harry Styles. Hoping to gain approval from fans across the nation, Taylor Swift starred in a funny For Your Consideration video, featuring Scott Borchetta, founder of her record label, Big Machine Records.
With the 51-year-old business man trying to get a hold of her, the country-pop sensation avoids him and his attempt to get her to create an ACM video, telling him she has important things to do.
A few of the 24-year-old beauty's things to do include: painting her fingernails, feeding her kitty cat and telling a close friend all about her past failed romances!
As Scott patiently awaits Taylor's return, we see her friend telling her, "We were done, and then like a week later, they got together and that's like a few weeks ago and now they're in Italy."
Taylor responded in kind, saying of her past loves, "That's a big jump! That's a little fast, and I'm saying that. This guy is the reason why they made that block feature on the iPhone. You need to put his name in your phone as a weird word that's unattractive like 'grundle."'
And after all of her antics, Taylor's video concluded with Scott flashing a smile at the camera, and her considerations include: Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, Vocal Event of the Year, Single Record of the Year and Video of the Year. Watch the video below!
