She?s got a killer figure and she?s not afraid to show it- Taylor Swift stepped out in New York City yesterday (July 7) looking superfine.
Sporting a matching printed crop top/skirt combo, the ?I Knew You Were Trouble? singer was in good spirits following her fabulous Fourth of July weekend festivities with gal pals like Jaime King, Emma Stone and Lena Dunham.
Meanwhile, Taylor published an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal on Monday regarding the state of the music business.
She wrote, "Before I tell you my thoughts on the matter, you should know that you're reading the opinion of an enthusiastic optimist: one of the few living souls in the music industry who still believes that the music industry is not dying...it's just coming alive? Fans are buying only the [albums] that hit them like an arrow through the heart or have made them feel strong or allowed them to feel like they really aren't alone in feeling so alone."
"There are always going to be those artists who break through on an emotional level and end up in people's lives forever. The way I see it, fans view music the way they view their relationships. Some music is just for fun, a passing fling (the ones they dance to at clubs and parties for a month while the song is a huge radio hit, that they will soon forget they ever danced to). Some songs and albums represent seasons of our lives, like relationships that we hold dear in our memories but had their time and place in the past."
Swift continued, "However, some artists will be like finding 'the one.? We will cherish every album they put out until they retire and we will play their music for our children and grandchildren. As an artist, this is the dream bond we hope to establish with our fans. I think the future still holds the possibility for this kind of bond, the one my father has with the Beach Boys and the one my mother has with Carly Simon."

Heading out for another lovely day in the Big Apple, Taylor Swift went for a stroll earlier this week (July 3).
The "Trouble" gal looked incredibly darling in a floral-print romper with a pair of complimentary mustard yellow pumps.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Swift boosted support for her pal Ed Sheeran and the release of his new album X.
"If you're on the fence about buying Ed Sheeran's new album, X, allow me to convince you with this image," Taylor posted along with a photo of the red-headed singer and a cute kitty.

A few weeks ago, I pointed out something that I thought was pretty obvious: that Taylor Swift just goes to the gym in NYC to get pap?d, not to work out. The story/confirmation came from Star Magazine. They claimed that Swifty never works out because she?s naturally skinny, but she just wants to be seen as ?the girl who goes to the gym.? So she goes to the gym, hangs out there, drinks a smoothie and primps, then walks out so the photographers can get some glamour shots of her NYC street style. Well, these are new photos of Swifty? leaving the gym on Tuesday. Do you think she worked out? Or do you think she just wanted everybody to look at her outfit? Her outfit is cute though.
But I did want to point out another wrinkle ? I do think Taylor is aware of the rumors that she?s not really working out. On Monday, she got pap?d leaving the gym with wet hair. Like, she showered after a tough workout and she wanted people to see that. Us Weekly even has a source who claims that Swifty has been working with Karlie Kloss?s trainer at ModelFIT and Swifty ?really wants that model body.? Swifty already has a model-y body and I hope she doesn?t want to lose weight. She looks fine. She has a lovely figure. It?s just her weird, crazy, cat-lady brain that I worry about.

Finishing up a workout session at her gym in New York City, the ?I Knew You Were Trouble? songstress got all gussied up before stepping out onto the street.
Taylor opted for a yellow houndstooth cropped sweater teamed with a mint green flare skirt and 1950s-style modest heels, all of which flattered her 5-foot-10-inch frame.
Last week, Swift helped give her buddy Ed Sheeran?s new album X a boost by posting a picture of him nuzzling her cat Meredith. She captioned the shot, ?If you're on the fence about buying Ed Sheeran's new album, X, allow me to convince you with this image.?

Meanwhile, Taylor?s other cat Meredith tweeted a message on her kitty Twitter account in hopes that Swift wouldn?t forget about her now that the new pet has arrived- ?Love me too pls? All the young things line up to take your plaaaacee??

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift over the past few days in NYC. She loves getting pap?d, doesn?t she? The photos of Swifty in the Pink crop top and matching skirt are from Wednesday, when she was just out and about. The photos where she?s wearing black leggings and a pale blue shirt are from Tuesday. Those pics are of Swifty exiting her gym.
For those of us who have been paying attention to Swifty?s Sex and the City-lite fantasy playing out in real time, there are some questions as to exactly what she does at the gym. She always leaves the gym looking like this ? perfect, non-sweaty hair, perfectly applied makeup, heels and a cute outfit. It?s possible that she has a workout and then showers at the gym and steps out in her little perfect look. But the paparazzi have started to note that Swifty basically goes into her gym, hangs out for twenty minutes while the paps assemble, then she struts out like the sidewalk is a catwalk. And now Star Magazine is basically saying the same thing:
Taylor Swift is only pretending to go to the gym in order to be cool.
“She’ll get a smoothie, stretch a little, then primp in the locker room for 45 minutes because photographers are outside waiting to take her picture,” says a fellow gym-goer. “Taylor thinks that it makes her look cool to be a chick who works out ? but she’s naturally thin, so she never does.”

Does anyone have a hard time believing this? I believe it. Now, if you told me that Taylor doesn?t want to be photographed looking like a sweaty mess, I might have some sympathy for that (mostly because I look like ten kinds of hell after a workout and I wouldn?t want to be photographed either). But it seems like this is all part of the weird little fantasy life that Taylor plays out in real life. She wants to be seen as a cool New York girl who works out and hangs out with her girlfriends at the gym. But really she?s just? weird. And her paparazzi-posing is taking on a whiff of Kardashian.
Also: three people were arrested at Swifty?s Rhode Island mansion for throwing beer bottles at the house and then screaming obscenities at the police. Classy!
