Taylor Swift has been getting pap?d on the reg for months after she relocated to NYC. I?m pretty sure Swifty was/is working on her new album, a project which is very hush-hush and I assume will be devoted to Harry Styles and the breakup a year and a half ago. In New York, Tay-Tay has also been arranging playdates with high-profile women all over the place, mostly Victoria?s Secret models and Lena Dunham. I?ve been saying for a while that Taylor seems to be playing out some kind of Sex and the City fantasy while in Manhattan ? something about the pap strolls in cute outfits, the high-profile girlfriends, the high heels? it just seems like Taylor is trying to live in the world of Sex and the City. But what if she secretly hates it? Ha.
?Taylor feels isolated in New York,? a pal tells Star Magazine. ?She?s having a hard time making friends and is begging people to visit, even offering to fly them out!? But Taylor may be more of a New Yorker than she realizes: now that summer?s hit, she?s ready to ditch the city for the shore.
?Taylor cannot wait to split her time between Rhode Island and LA,? explains the insider. ?She doesn?t want any part of living in New York full-time ? she really regrets moving there.?

Sounds more like her SATC fantasy crashed into the reality of New York. It sounds like Taylor thought it would be super-easy to meet interesting men who fit into her narrow boyfriend requirements and the reality was? she wasn?t meeting many men. She was just working on her album, hanging out with models and wearing cute outfits. So sad, Swifty. Maybe work on your London fantasy next? That?s the fantasy that many single American girls have ? ?I?ll move to London and meet a great guy with an accent, maybe he?ll have a title or something. I?ll go to polo games and hang out in the members-only clubs.? Living out the London fantasy might do her some good.
Meanwhile, two nice Swifty stories ? she has a small part in the film adaptation of The Giver (so small in fact that she was left out of the trailer), and on behalf of the film, she?s participating in the READ project. She appears in a poster with the book The Giver on behalf of the American Library Association?s efforts to encourage kids to read. And here?s another nice thing: she donated $50,000 to the Children?s Hospital of Philadelphia?s Cancer Center. Her hit songs have topped the charts all over the globe, and Taylor Swift couldn?t be more pumped to take her Red tour all the way to Shanghai, China.
In an exclusive interview, the ?Stay Stay Stay? songstress gushed, "I'm really excited about being in China for the first time. It's really exciting to bring the Red tour here because - having never been here - I'm most excited about the fact that the show in Shanghai sold out in under a minute. That was unbelievable, so it makes me even more excited to play the show knowing that there was that much demand here."
Taylor also appreciated the fresh experiences afforded her by traveling to a new land. "It's really exciting going somewhere new because I've done so much International touring that you very rarely get to be in an entire country that you've never even stepped foot in before, so that kind of experience is always kind of really exciting and there are lots of different places we're going on this Asia tour where I've never been to before, but the shows are all sold out."
And when everything is said and done, it?s all about the music for Miss Swift. ?Music is one of those unifying factors that works all over the world. Looking out into the crowd and being in a completely new place and seeing that it?s sold out, seeing that people know the words to the songs- it?s really, really incredible.?

I?ve never had much of a problem with Taylor Swift?s constantly red lips. Chica loves red lipstick, and even if the red lip doesn?t really work with the ensemble, Swifty still tries to pull it off. Mostly, I don?t have much an opinion on lipstick ? I haven?t worn it in years, since my terrible ?pale purple lipstick? phase in college (I looked like a corpse). I go for tinted lip gloss sometimes and that?s about it. What I?m saying is that I never really have a dog in this lipstick hunt, I just judge celebs on whether I think a certain lipstick works on them. For Swifty, her red lips are now one of her ?trademarks.? She recently spoke about why she?s obsessed with the red lip:
How many red lipsticks does she have? ?I don?t have an excessive amount! I just find one I like and use it. Right now [I'm using] Dragon Girl by NARS ? I?ll go through different phases with makeup and always try new things. Except I never really get too far from red lipstick, do I? I guess I just think my face looks worse without it. That?s pretty much the only rationale behind it.?
She?s also obsessed with the high-heeled Oxfords:?I really like an oxford high heel for kind of looking more like either a student or like you?re going to work. I don?t know, there?s something [that gives me some normality]. That?s what I kind of like to channel when I?m wearing them.?
She doesn?t share clothes with friends: ?The one common thread between [my friends] is they know who they are and they?re very sure of who they are. We don?t usually have the same style. If they see me wearing something, they know it?s because that?s something that represents me and they?ll wear something very different ? It doesn?t really affect the conversation, what we?re wearing.?

?I guess I just think my face looks worse without it.? That?s a weird statement to make. ?Worse?? How about ?I think my face looks better with it.? It?s like she aiming for humility and it just sounds like she has zero confidence, which we know is untrue. How about, ?I wear red lipstick because I like it, I got breast implants because I wanted them, and I wear shoes with cats on them because I?m awesome!? Positive-body-image statements would be great coming from someone who prides herself on how she presents herself to her young fans.

The ?I Knew You Were Trouble? singer donned a pair of high-waisted shorts with a Pink button-up as she flashed a quick smile towards the awaiting paparazzi and made her way back to her NYC apartment.

Sarah Jessica Parker was going to be the lead lady of this post about Oscar de la Renta gowns at the 2014 Met Gala, but then I saw Taylor Swift?s look. There were rumors that Swifty was going to wear one of her go-to, favorite designers, J. Mendel. But she went for Oscar de la Renta instead, which I think was a good choice. She followed the dress code and looked like an old-school society swan. Like, this is how debutantes in the 1950s looked. Swifty really knew how to work her train too, and the bustle is really pretty. This suits her, and the whole look manages to look classic rather than dated. The only thing I would change? Her lip color. I don?t like the red lip with this Pink dress.
Sarah Jessica Parker was the co-chair of this year?s Met Gala (along with Bradley Cooper, which is weird, right?). SJP wore Oscar de la Renta, one of her favorite designers. I would imagine this is custom-made for her. I find it very costumey, especially with the way she?s styled it. The gloves are a bit much, but they?re probably for the dress code/theme. I hated her hair when I first saw it, but now that I?m really looking at it? I kind of love it. Her makeup looks good too. And her date was Andy Cohen!
Claire Danes had my least favorite Oscar de la Renta look of this year?s Met Gala. This dress feels like what it probably was: the afterthought gown, after the designers had worked on SJP and Swifty?s gowns. It just looks like the designers didn?t know where to go, when either half would have made a suitable start for one good gown. Either do taffeta OR velvet, not both. Also: Hugh Dancy looks really good with that beard.

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift all dressed up to make a quick stop to a NYC gym. She walked into the gym in front of the paps, then walked out a few minutes later. I don?t really get it. Is she trying to convince people that she looks like this after working out? Was she just stopping by to talk to someone? It?s weird. But then, Taylor is a strange girl. I feel like there?s some sort of nouveau Sex & the City fantasy that?s playing out in Swifty?s mind, but from the outside looking in? she just seems like Cat Lady In the City.
Page Six had an item over the weekend about how ?boring? Swifty is ? she went out to dinner with Karlie Kloss, Toni Garrn and Sir Philip Green, and they all got a private room. You know what she ate? A piece of bread and some water. That?s it. One piece of bread. A few sips of water. Gurl, are you on a diet?!
Radar had a story last week about Selena Gomez and Swifty and their former friendship. According to their sources, Selena broke up with Swifty because Swifty was and is very anti-Bieber (which speaks in Swifty?s favor until you remember that John Mayer punched her V-card) and Selena was no longer into Swifty?s cat lady vibe. A source claimed: ?Selena was also so damn bored with Taylor. She didn?t want to bake cookies or paint anymore. She was just so done with it all.? OUCH.
As for Swifty and how she occupies her time when she?s not collecting high-profile female friends and baking cookies, various sources confirm that she?s actually working on a new album in NYC. Apparently, Swifty finds New York inspiring and ?right now New York is more her speed.?

She?s always up to something fun, and yesterday (April 29) Taylor Swift ran errands and took care of her to-do list while out and about in New York City.
Ever the stylish songstress, the ?I Knew You Were Trouble? hitmaker donned a striped top, maroon trousers and a black fedora as she carried a printed tote back to her chauffeured car.
As it turns out, Swift?s name came up while her gal pal Hailee Steinfeld was giving an interview for the May 2014 issue of Nylon magazine.
Of her country crooning gal pal, Hailee gushed, ?She is an amazing friend. I always get the ?Tell us something nobody knows [about Taylor]? question. And it's like, we both respect each other tremendously, but we choose to keep our friendship out of the public eye. She's a really great person and an inspiration to me and many others."

Meanwhile, Miss Swift scored a pair of trophies at the 2014 Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday night (April 26) though she wasn?t in the house to accept the trophies herself.
Taylor came out on top in the So FANtastic-Fiercest Fans category and her ?Everything Has Changed? duet with Ed Sheeran nabbed the Musical Mashup- Best Musical Collaboration honors.
