Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger always come out to the Vanity Fair Oscar party, even when Diane hasn?t been asked to present at the Oscars. I like that. I like that they?ve been together so long, they don?t care about being photographed together or any of that nonsense. Diane?s half-dress, half-jumpsuit is Donna Karan. I think this is so blah ? we?ve seen much better party looks on Diane in past years.
Here?s Emma Stone?s party look ? this is Altuzarra. I don?t like it.
Adam Levine & Behati Prinsloo changed out of their matching Armani gear (the red dress) for the VF party. I hate to say it, but I kind of like the nude dress on Behati more than the red.
Monica Lewinsky came to the VF party. Apparently, she befriended Thandie Newton.
Mindy Kaling in Salvador Perez. YAY! I like that she came out to party. Her dress is rather basic, but it?s flattering on her.
Joe Manganiello and Sofia Vergara. Is it just me or do they have absolutely no chemistry with each other in photos? I would imagine that, in private, there?s a lot of heat and grunting. But in public? It looks like they sort of hate each other.
Sam Taylor-Johnson and Aaron Taylor-Johnson came out for the VF party too. She looks nice. They look nice together.

Fully enjoying all the awards show season fun, Diane Kruger
headed over to the Hollywood Palladium for the 20th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards this evening (January 15).
The ?National Treasure? babe was in fine form as she did a little posing while rubbing shoulders with her fellow celebrity attendees.
In addition to the usual categories, several special awards will be handed out throughout the evening as well. Kevin Costner is slated to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Jessica Chastain will take home the inaugural Critics? Choice MVP Award and Ron Howard will snag the LOUIS XIII Critics? Choice Genius Award.

I kind of don?t even have words for how much I love Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger. At the Golden Globes last night, Diane actually had the rare opportunity to go to an event just to support Joshua, and when The Affair won Best TV Drama, the look on her face was amazing. She was SO surprised and SO happy for Joshua. It was so sweet. I could watch them smiling at each other for hours. As a couple, they are one of my favorites.
They were also one of the best-dressed couples of the night, if not THE best. Diane wore this Emilia Wickstead gown which was FLAWLESS. I don?t know if you saw this live on E!?s red carpet, but it was beautifully tailored and it fit her perfectly. It moved beautifully. It shimmered. She looked gorgeous. Diane always styles beautifully too ? her hair and makeup were perfection, and her Kwiat jewels perfectly suited the gown. Emilia Wickstead is an English designer getting more and more attention these days because Duchess Kate has worn several Wickstead designs in recent years. I would love to see Kate in one of these amazing Wickstead gowns.
Diane also carried a ?Je Suis Charlie? sign. Diane and Joshua actually split their time between America, Canada and France. Diane owns an apartment in Paris and she always talks about how much she and Joshua love spending their downtime in Paris.
I?m also including photos of Joshua?s costar in The Affair (she?s his on-screen wife) Ruth Wilson. Ruth won! Which is exciting for her. She wore this green Prada which I hated on stage on at the Globes, but looks pretty in still photos.

Gearing up for a fun-filled evening, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson headed over to the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 2015 Golden Globes tonight (January 11).
The ?National Treasure? babe and her ?Dawson?s Creek? hunk were in good spirits as they walked the red carpet and chatted with members of the press while posing for photographs.
With so many amazing accomplishments to celebrate in television and film, it?s really anybody?s guess who will go home with the hardware at the end of the night. The Best Motion Picture- Drama nominees are ?The Theory of Everything,? ?Boyhood,? ?Selma,? ?Foxcatcher? and ?The Imitation Game.?

He?s a busy guy these days, so Joshua Jackson is eternally grateful to have a committed partner in Diane Kruger to come home to each night.
The ?Skulls? star told Glamour's November 2014 issue that he and his leading lady don?t plan on tying the knot, but it?s not for a lack of love or devotion.
?I can tell you why we?re not married: We?re not religious. I don?t feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party. We?re both children of divorce, so it?s hard for me to take marriage at face value as the thing that shows you?ve grown up and are committed to another person. But it may change at some point. We may get married.?
Mr. Jackson also credits Diane for helping him step up his wardrobe- ?[If] you want to be respected as a grown-up, you have to dress like one. I used to have a collection of Adidas sneakers, but one day all the obnoxiously colored ones disappeared. She still claims I must have lost them ?somewhere.? ?
As for his Showtime series ?The Affair,? Joshua notes, ?Our show tries to portray the messiness of life?sometimes you make bad choices and don?t get to walk around with your head held high. But having seasoned actors helps. Our industry tends to cast 23-year-olds, but in this show everybody?s got a couple of wrinkles, a little bit of life under their belts. We?ve all had to recover from heartbreak.?

Receiving a very special honor, Diane Kruger brought her boyfriend Joshua Jackson to the Ministrere of Culture in Paris, France on Monday (September 22).
The ?National Treasure? beauty was recognized by the French minister of Culture and Communications Fleur Pellerin with the insignia of Official of the Order of Arts and Letters, while her proud beau watched by her side.

Stepping out for a round of errands, Diane Kruger hoofed it through the SoHo neighborhood of New York City on Monday afternoon (August 18).
The always-stunning ?Inglourious Basterds? babe showed off her enviable frame in a long sleeve white t-shirt with black leggings, Pink sneakers and a white fedora hat with a black Chanel handbag.
And if she and longtime boyfriend Joshua Jackson ever get around to having kids, Diane says they?ll relocate to France.
?I consider myself half French. That's where I think I want to raise my children, where I see myself growing old. Maybe because I'm European, their way of life is very close to what I know. I've always loved Paris. When I went there it was my first time ever on a plane. From the moment I arrived, I was like, I'm never leaving.?
As for the possibility of a few kiddos, Kruger noted, ?I keep dreaming about a baby, but I don't feel any pressure. I never thought about having children in the past, then Josh and I started thinking about a family six months after we became involved.?

I really love talking about Diane Kruger and covering her interviews and her style, but I?ve found that most of the time, you guys don?t really give a crap. So? if you enjoy Diane, give a honk. I enjoy her. She?s not scandalous, she?s an interesting woman doing interesting work, she?s been in a committed relationship with Joshua for eight years and I still find them enchanting together. Anyway, Diane covers some special edition of InStyle. The cover is meh but the quotes are decent.
On stylists: “I started out my career in Europe, in French films, where nobody enlists a stylist. When I first came here, I found that people have a team?the hairstylist, the makeup artist, the stylist?and for a time I did that, but I did not like anything they were giving me. I have a basic idea of what I want, and having a stylist just seems way more fuss than necessary to get dressed.”
Her stylist put her in Marchesa: ?At my first Golden Globes, I don?t know why, but I wore a dress, a Marchesa dress. I love Marchesa, I love the girls, and I don?t know why we talked ourselves into this dress. It was gold and my belly was exposed, but I decided to do retro hair?I had a short bob then. It was not a good look, and I think that will be remembered.?
She loves carbs and French food: “In L.A., you’re the devil if you eat bread. Josh and I went to Paris over Christmas, and he gained, like, 15 pounds. The bread! White chocolate! Risotto! Pt! My friend lives out in Normandy on a farm, and she makes her own foie gras. And then the wine. All we did was eat and drink. It was so fun.”

I love the Marchesa story. I think she was trying to avoid throwing shade at Georgina Chapman while still making it clear that she will never, ever wear Marchesa trash again. But like I always say about Diane ? she just has that high-fashion look, and even if she?s wearing the most budget dress in the world, she makes it look like Chanel. It?s a gift.

Diane Kruger is one of those people we rarely cover because she’s very restrained in her public image. I admire her from afar and would love to look like her and cozy up to Joshua Jackson every night. There are occasional juicy blind items that point towards her private life, but I don’t put much stock into them.
Diane is raring up for the second season of The Bridge, in which she plays a detective with Asperger’s syndrome. She’s also the face of Mytheresa, so she’s given some fashion-type interviews. She did a video interview with Harper’s Bazaar where she raves about her favorite Stella McCartney dress (ack). Diane says, “I think most women dress for other women. It’s easy to please a man, the shorter the skirt and the sexier the dress, they will most likely approve of your outfit.” Do most women really dress for other women? That’s hard for me to relate to. Most of my friends are pretty casual, and working at home means I rarely dress up at all. What do you think?
Diane also did a cover story with the Sunday Times. She talks about a lot of stuff:
She & Joshua threw a bbq for 45 friends: “I didn?t hire any help. We cooked for two days, then had to clean up for two and a half days. We both love cooking, so we made everything from scratch. He smoked the ribs first for hours, and I baked the cake. It was endless, but fun. Well … you can?t spend your life drinking cocktails at the Chateau Marmont. I?ve come to accept that being still for a minute is actually a good thing, and yes, some of that comes from having a partner who gives me a strong sense of myself.” She says they love to “hike, and throw lots of parties for friends.”
The reality of Hollywood: “It?s a tough place, as glamorous as you think it is, and as ugly as you think it is. Everyone in LA is scared. Everyone is worried that if you don?t take this job, it?s over. I see it all the time: men and women who come here and are miserable. You have to have a strong sense of yourself away from it all. There?s a whole other side to me that nobody knows.”
Playing a detective with Asperger’s: “A lot of girls who have it are labelled cold or a bitch. That?s very telling of our society.” Coldness is rarely what it seems, I say. “Listen, I fight that every day. I think men can make comments or have strong opinions, and people will say they?re a genius or intense. Or smart. As women, we get labelled, ?Oh, she?s a bitch, she?s difficult.? And often, you?re just trying to get something done.”
Talk of kids with Joshua: Next, she?s making a French film — she tries to do one a year, so she can spend time in her house in Paris. Jackson is “doing a project” in Montauk, Long Island, so they will “probably spend the summer in New York.” “We don?t have kids yet,” she says, “but I assume that if we have some, travelling is going to be more difficult.” She says that LA is “great for younger kids, but for education, I think it would need to be Europe.”
Acting at age 37: “Most of us want to hide, we?re scared of being hurt, but you have to be ready to be open and vulnerable, and that can be exhilarating. Some people say, ?Oh no, I couldn?t do that, that?s too much.? I have never, ever felt that. There?s no limit to what you can do if you work hard enough for it.”

There’s plenty to digest in this interview. The part about being labelled “cold or a bitch” is interesting, not just in the context of The Bridge. Diane is a fashion girl and is often seen but not heard on the red carpet. Her classic, ice blonde looks also contribute to a “cold” look at times. I think Diane is terrifically glamourous, but her words tell me that she’s dealt with a lot of judgy sniping.
The part about Diane and Joshua throwing a huge barbeque party for their friends is kinda awesome. They both did everything and didn’t hire any help. I believe it. Diane is always papped at the grocery store. She buys a lot food for a person who says she forgets to eat. Here she is a few weeks ago with two separate grocery hauls, two days apart.

Here are some more photos from last night?s Critics Choice TV Awards. As you can imagine, many of the ?critical darling? shows won big, like Orange Is the New Black, True Detective, Fargo, etc. You can read more about the awards here. Right now we?re just talking fashion! Two TV leading ladies posed together on the red carpet, which is always nice. Diane Kruger kind of phoned it in with this Elie Saab, it?s not a bad dress but it does feel like she didn?t try at all. And Keri Russell wore this rather stunning J. Mendel gown. Keri?s look is one of my favorites from the night.
Kaley Cuoco in Amen. I like the idea of wearing smart menswear-inspired stuff to an awards show, but the execution here is off. Her hair doesn?t look as terrible here.
Allison Janney. Fabulous woman. Fierce. Amazing. Beautiful!
Lizzy Caplan in Valentino. The dress is okay but the hair!! I think Lizzy is really pretty, but she?s usually styled poorly.
Sarah Silverman in Lela Rose, with boyfriend Michael Sheen (who I love LOVE love on Masters of Sex). I will never NOT think they are a weird couple though. Her dress is meh.
Tatiana Maslany in Cushnie et Ochs. Tatiana looks different every time I see her ? it?s like she has Blanchett-Face. This is a simple, pretty dress and she looks great. I like the pop of red on her feet!
Matthew McConaughey: will his face ever look normal again? But he won big again because 2014 is The Year of Alright Alright Alright. JK Livin?.
