Working on perfecting her performance, Heidi Montag strutted her stuff at a rehearsal for her performance at Miss Universe 2009 in the Bahamas.
The blond beauty and husband, Spencer Pratt, arrived in the Bahamas on Thursday and yesterday (August 21) Heidi took the stage to practice her sexy moves.
And earlier today, Mrs. Pratt updated her Twitter page, saying, “On my way to thw main stage of Miss Universe for rehersel!!!! wowoowowowow!!!!!!!!!! im so excited!!!!”
The Miss Universe pageant airs this Sunday (August 23) at 11pm ET on NBC.

Hopefully, her dancing career willgo muchbetter than her singing career. Even as a say that, I’m not sure that her success or failture even matters. Heading off to the Bahamas, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt continued their special brand of self promotion as they arrived at LAX Airport in Los Angeles for a departing flight on Thursday (August 20).
Proudly displaying Heidi’s sexy Playboy magazine cover, the “Hills” co-star couple smiled and waved at paparazzi as they passed through security on the way to the departures gate.
On the way to Paradise Island for the Miss Universe Pageant - during which Heidi will be a performer - the MTV vixen posted to her Twitter page, saying “I have butterflies. I am having my first performance in 3 days!!!”
The pageant’s host Billy Bush made a request of Ms. Montag, replying, “i am also excited to hear you sing...don’t lip synch mama, i’ll be right there on stage with you...i want LIVE, no net!” to which Heidi replied, “haha don’t worry my performance at Miss. Universe will be as live as can be!!”

Heidi learns how to count
You’re just asking for trouble when you have Heidi Montag perform at a big event for you. Not only do you have to deal with that brainless twat, you have to deal with that insufferable douchebag Spencer Pratt. The Miss Universe Pageant is learning this the hard way. Page Six reports:
She’s scheduled to perform at the Miss Universe Pageant at the Atlantis Paradise Island resort in the Bahamas Sunday night, but an insider told Page Six, “They’re a complete nightmare. Heidi has missed many rehearsals” while “Spencer tried to demand that the hotel pay him to lay by the pool” after he and Heidi were comped on the cabanas. “The Atlantis laughed in his face,” our snitch reports. A rep for Montag denies she and Pratt have caused any problems. “It’s absolutely untrue. She’s been rehearsing in LA five days a week for the show, and Spencer hasn’t spoken with the Atlantis.”
To be fair, it doesn’t count as a conversation when the Atlantis laughs in your face before you even finish your sentence. In that respect, the rep is right. Spencer hasn’t spoken with the Atlantis. Also, what else do you expect from Heidi. Have they even heard her music? It’s complete nonsense. Piano cat could perform better than her. You could punch a synthesizer in frustration and it’d sound better than anything Heidi has sang. Heidi doesn’t even know what “work ethic” means. To her, that’s just like AIDS; a disease poor kids in third world countries have.

'Hills' star will sing just-released 'Body Language,' from a new album due in September.By Jocelyn Vena

Heidi Montag is hard at work preparing for the weekend's Miss Universe pageant, where she'll be performing her new song, "Body Language." The pageant — which will also include performances by Flo Rida and Kelly Rowland — airs this Sunday at 9 pm ET on NBC.
The song was released last week on iTunes and will be featured on Heidi's upcoming self-titled album, which hits stores on September 29, the same day the new season of "The Hills" premieres.

"I am so excited to perform ... at Miss Universe for my first ever live performance," Montag told People. "This is such a miracle in life and I give thanks to God everyday for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
Photos have also emerged of Heidi in dance rehearsals for the performance. Dressed in gray sweatpants and a pink, belly-baring tank top, the reality-TV star is seen practicing various dance moves by herself and with a group of dancers.
It had been previously reported that Heidi would perform her song, "Turn Ya Head," from the album Unleashed, which she just released in July. But it seems that plan has changed in favor of promoting this second release. One plan that has never changed: fulfilling her dream of being a pop star.
"I've wanted to do music since I could talk," Montag told MTV News earlier this year. "I used to do plays and singing and voice lessons and practice Britney routines when I was, like, 12. This is the biggest dream of my life."
