Getting in some all-important quality time, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr were spotted lunching together in New York City yesterday (October 4).
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” stud and his Victoria’s Secret vixen looked so happy together as they dined at the Central Park Boathouse Restaurant.
And despite rumors that their relationship is on the rocks, an inside source told press that things are going well for the couple. “They’re doing just fine,” said a friend.
Last month, a tabloid claimed, “It looks like Orlando Bloom’s romance with Miranda Kerr has stalled. The actor and the Victoria’s Secret model have been dating for almost two years now, but an insider says that there’s friction because Orlando hasn’t made a bigger commitment.”

While we don?t know for sure whether Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are officially engaged (probably not), one thing?s for sure - they are very much in love. They?re so in love they want to spend as much time together as possible, or so the Daily Mail would have us believe. The Mail is confirming a rumor that?s been around for months - that Orlando Bloom won?t be returning for any future Pirates of the Caribbean sequels. Orlando himself said that he had no interest in returning to the franchise as he was promoting the last one, but I tended to think that might just be a way to get a bigger paycheck. There were two options - either the producers didn?t really want Orlando and they were looking for any future sequels to revolve around Johnny Depp?s character. Or Orlando was done with the Pirates thing two years ago, and now people are putting out this story about his love for Miranda Kerr as some kind of face-saving gesture. Like, ?Oh, no really, I wouldn?t want to make another Pirates movie? I?m so in love with my girlfriend, I can?t be parted from her!?
Orlando Bloom will not be appearing in the next Pirates of The Caribbean film. The actor, 32, is said to have turned down the chance to reprise his role as blacksmith Will Turner in the fourth movie because he wants to spend more time with his girlfriend Miranda Kerr, 26.
And judging by her display in a recent fashion shoot for Victoria’s Secrets, it’s no wonder Bloom is walking the plank for the Australian model.
A source told the New of the World: ‘Orlando loved the films but thinks it?s time to bow out because they tied up nicely for his character Will Turner.?
‘The producers are OK with that because they want to concentrate on the new adventures of Johnny Depp?s Captain Jack Sparrow.’
It was recently reported that Bloom and Kerr had been looking at buying a $13 million Malibu home together. Last month the pair were seen viewing at houses together in Los Angeles in an exclusive celebrity enclave.
‘The couple looked so in love and so relaxed,’ a source told X17 Online.
‘They seem so happy together - a perfect match. You could see Miranda getting all dreamy-eyed when they looked at this house. It was beautiful - right on the beach.’
There are also rumours that the pair plan to wed, with Bloom having given his other half an ultimatum. She has already twice turned down his marriage proposals, but he plans to ask her again this summer.
A source told the Mail on Sunday earlier this month: ?He has told her he wants to marry her and will propose again this summer. If she says no, he?s said it will be over.?
Earlier this month the Lord of the Rings actor had to jet back to LA after his home was broken into by thieves.
At the time it was reported that 300,000-worth of belongings were taken, including vintage watches, jewelry and cash.

I?m not any kind of Orly fan, but I do think it?s sweet that he keeps asking Miranda to marry him and she keeps saying no. And he sticks around! That makes me like him a lot, that he doesn?t get all defensive and all ?we have to get married now or I?m walking?. As for the Pirates franchise - well, I don?t think it was Orly who was saying no, I think it was the producers saying no to him. Bloom?s career isn?t as hot as it once was, and Pirates would have been a great paycheck, at the very least. And he could have afforded a bigger engagement ring, at the very least. Which Miranda still would have said ?thanks but no thanks? to.

Checking out his home in Los Angeles following a burglary earlier this week, Orlando Bloom was spotted chatting with paparazzi yesterday (July 16).
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” stud looked to be in a decent mood as he peered out of his chauffeured car and fielded a few questions from the shutterbugs before driving up to the house.
According to a report, burglars looted Bloom’s pad to the tune of around $500,000 in cash, jewelry, and other items.
LAPD officer Tenesha Dobine told press, “Yesterday around 5:50 p.m., patrol officers responded to his residence...in the Hollywood Hills, where a relative informed police that his house had been burglarized.”

Thieves broke into Orlando Bloom’s Hollywood Hills home last night and stole $500,000 worth of jewelry including two very expensive watches. Maybe even some pretty necklaces Orlando likes to wear from time to time. The LAPD says it doesn’t look like a “typical burglary” leading everybody to believe it was an inside job.
The LAPD says they’re not sure yet, but they’ll let everyone know when they get around to it. Oh, but hey. While you’re here, the LAPD wants to know if you have any idea when Orlando Bloom will be back. They would really like to get his autograph. For, um, their kids.

Continuing the unfortunate recent trend of celebrity robberies, Orlando Bloom’s Los Angeles residence was burglarized recently.
According to a report, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” stud is the victim of theft as some of his personal effects were taken from his house by burglars.
As the crime was discovered, police were called to the scene to do a formal investigation and file the proper reports.
Thankfully, Orly wasn’t on the West Coast at the time, but rather in New York City working on a new film project.

Nothing’s official yet, but it looks as though Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are planning to get married. The Daily Mail says
23-year old [Kerr], who first started dating Orlando Bloom in late 2007, is now rumored to be engaged to the Lord of the Rings star. The couple looked extremely loved-up during a visit to Cannes earlier this week… and Miranda has been spotted wearing what looks like an engagement ring on her left finger.
Orlando Bloom might have starred in two of the most successful movie trilogies of all time and just laid claim to gorgeous lingerie model, but I’m not worried. Not at all. My day’s coming. Why, just last week my mom told me I was destined for a lifetime of fame and success. Only she used the expression “even a blind pig finds an acorn every now and then,” and instead of giving me a reassuring hug, she dumped my suitcase on the ground and peeled off in a cloud of dust and gin, but I know that’s what she meant. Sometimes you have to look past “words” and “actions” to discover the true meaning.

Ordinarily, I would take a non-denial/non-confirmation of an engagement very lightly, but this report comes from People Magazine, so I suspect there could be something there. People is reporting that Orlando Bloom and Victoria?s Secret model Miranda Kerr are maybe engaged. Apparently, Miranda showed up in Cannes with a big ring on her finger, and her reps aren?t confirming or denying the engagement rumors. This, as opposed to the last time engagement rumors were swirling, and Miranda?s people had a hissy fit. So, what changed?
There’s something new adorning Miranda Kerr’s left ring finger ? and it looks remarkably like an engagement ring, according to photos of the Australian model with her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom.
And while last November Kerr’s rep vehemently denied news reports from Down Under that Kerr was engaged to the Pirates of the Caribbean star, this time there’s no denial. No confirmation, either. Simply, no comment.
“I am aware of the images. However, I am not in a position to comment,” Kerr’s rep, Carlii Lyon, tells PEOPLE. Bloom’s rep has yet to be reached for comment.
What is known: Kerr, 26, did fly into Cannes to be with Bloom, 32, for one night before turning around and going right back to New York for work ? prompting some observers to wonder if a proposal took place in the South of France.
After all, also last November, Kerr said. “I’ve always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen.”

Of all of the gay rumors that swirl about so many male and female celebrities, Orlando is one of the few that I tend to believe. For me, it?s really about the total lack of sexuality he seems to have. He comes across like a neutered Ken doll. He has zero chemistry with any of his leading ladies, but perhaps he?s just a horrible actor? Honestly, I?ve never gotten the appeal of either of them. Yes, both have nice bodies and are ?attractive? but they just seem epically boring. So, if they are engaged, congratulations to the happy couple. I?m sure they?ll be very…zzzz….
