He?s been working nonstop to promote his new film ?Crazy, Stupid, Love,? and last night (July 20) Ryan Gosling headed over to ?Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.?
The ?Blue Valentine? stud brought his pooch pal George along for the ride as he chatted with the former ?Saturday Night Live? funnyman.
During the course of the conversation, Ryan shared a horrible experience he had at a Turkish bath recently.
?I had this fantasy about it being something like being waved with palm leaves and fed grapes, and that?s not it at all. It?s this big hairy Turkish guy who washes you with a bar of soap.?

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Ryan Gosling was spotted at ?The Late Show with David Letterman? yesterday (July 13).
The ?Notebook? stud looked handsome as he strolled up to the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City, sporting a brown suit and black sunglasses.
During his interview with Letterman, Ryan chatted about his past experience with Disney?s ?Mickey Mouse Club.?
?All the girls in my class were auditioning so I did too and somehow I got on and then when they hired me they realized that I couldn't really dance or sing and I wasn't talented so they stopped using me on the show.?
Gosling also declared that the Big Apple has the hottest ladies in the world. ?Some of the prettiest women I have ever seen in my life live here, also because it's so hot they appear to you like some kind of mirage and they are all screaming into their cell phones. I passed by a girl the other day and she was saying 'I know, I know, I should have just given him a cigarette for a banana and I could be in Dubai right now.??

When I first glanced at this photo (^above^), I thought the photo agency had chanced upon an actual photo shoot of Ryan Gosling. But it?s a candid photo - that?s how hot he is. He makes a sweaty appearance outside of The Late Show look like a photo shoot! This is why he is The Gosdong. But seriously, can this boy wear the hell out of a Gucci suit or what? He?s like the second coming of Ocean?s Eleven. No wonder George Clooney likes him so much.
Here?s a clip of Gosling appearance last night on The Late Show - this is fantastic Peter O?Toole story!
Ryan also talked about his short-lived tenure on The Mickey Mouse Club. I give him credit for not being too important or too full of himself here - he talks about it openly, which I wouldn?t be able to do. When asked how he got on, Gosling told Letterman, ?I auditioned? All the girls in my class were auditioning so I did too and somehow I got on and then when they hired me they realized that I couldn’t really dance or sing and I wasn’t talented so they stopped using me on the show.? He also talked about New York women, saying: ?Some of the prettiest women I have ever seen in my life live here, also because it’s so hot they appear to you like some kind of mirage and they are all screaming into their cell phones? I passed by a girl the other day and she was saying ‘I know, I know, I should have just given him a cigarette for a banana and I could be in Dubai right now’.? SO cute.

| Ryan Gosling is a great dog-father to his puppy George | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

You may know by now that I am both a cat and a dog person. I grew up, for the most part, with cats, but I did have a childhood dog that I adored, and I am currently a proud dog mother to one 100-pound neurotic monster/mutt. I have cat siblings, though, as my mom is still very much a cat person, and whenever I go to her house, the cats seem to gravitate towards me, knowing that I cannot resist their little kitty faces. One in particular (the insane one) seems to want to live in my hair. I let her. What I?m trying to say is that I get a sense about people when I see them around their animals, and you can tell a lot about a person by how they treat their animal(s).
So what can we tell about Ryan Gosling by the way he treats his dog, George? At first I thought Ryan was just mother-hen-ing his puppy because of the crowd, but I think the enormous puppy is being carried in his daddy?s arms because there was an escalator situation. George looks like the kind of dog who gives his dad a ?I?m not walking on that motherchucking thing, you need to carry me? look, and his dad complies. Note: when my dog gives me that look, I give HIM a look that says ?Dream on, a–hole.?
Basically, my take on Ryan and George?s dynamic is that George is probably the love of Ryan?s life. I think George is probably priority number one, and George probably gets final say on all of the girlfriends that come around too. My guess is that George likes to sleep in his dad?s beg too. A man and his dog - don?t mess with it, ladies.
Here are some additional photos of Ryan at the LA Film Festival premiere of his new film, Drive. I?ll have some photos of Christina Hendricks in a moment. Don?t get me started.

| Hot Guy Gosdong: Ryan Gosling wears a pajama top in Cannes? | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

As the years have gone by, I?ve begun to love Ryan Gosling more and more. He?s quirkier than the average heartthrob, and when he works, he really does put some effort into promoting something he?s proud of. I was slightly perturbed when he signed on for Drive, which seemed like kind of a standard-issue action film, with Gosling?s performance seemingly tied to driving around in cars throughout the movie. But the film attracted a diversely talented cast, and the film is getting a rollout at the Cannes Film Festival. These are photos of Gosling at the photo call in Cannes earlier today.
Gosling appears to be wearing a pajama top, right? I?m sure it?s all very fashion forward and hey, I should give him props for being comfortable enough in his masculinity to attempt the bright-white-pants look, with some kind of designer pajama top. Maybe Gosling is working an angle with the ladies here - we see him in a pajama top, we start imagining what he looks like asleep, in bed, next to us?.yeah. Nice. Smart move!
I liked what the LAT had to say about the film and the audience reaction here. They claim that this is a pretty smart film, and that Cannes audiences are loving this Nordic-influenced take on American noir/action. Here are some scenes from the movie:

Fresh from a flight into Los Angeles? LAX International Airport, Ryan Gosling was spotted heading out of the terminal on Monday (May 2).
The ?Blue Valentine? stud looked cute in loafers, gray pants, a leather jacket and glasses as he made his way past the paparazzi, looking a bit exhausted from the day's travels.
On the career front for Gosling, it is being reported that he, Sean Penn and Josh Brolin are all in talks to star in the Warner Bros? 1940s re-make movie, ?Gangster Squad.?
The film is based on a seven-part L.A. Times article written by Paul Lieberman that describes corruption and chaos in the 1940s and how the LAPD created a special unit called the Gangster Squad to prevent the East Coast mafia from infecting the city.

Stepping out for a media appearance, Ryan Gosling dropped by ?Jimmy Kimmel Live? last night (January 20).
The ?Blue Valentine? actor looked dapper as he headed inside the studio after signing autographs for the fans eagerly waiting.
During the course of his interview, Ryan opted to pull out a ukelele and sing ?You Only Hurt the One You Love.?
Of course, Kimmel joined in the fun and began trying to steal the show by parading around the stage, while Ryan haplessly played along.

| Hot Guy Golden Globes: Ryan Gosling & 'the robust triangle of man-love' | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Let?s not pretend that anybody but Ryan Gosling was the hottest guy at last night?s golden Globes. Surprisingly enough, I wasn?t really feeling the man-candy (or as Colin Firth says it, ?the robust triangle of man love?) at the Globes. Too many pretty boys, too many boring dudes. And then Ryan Gosling walked into my life. Sigh? the Gosdong. It?s amazing. He?s so, so beautiful. He releases hotness pheromones too, that can be felt through the television. The best part? Blake Lively was nowhere to be seen. No Blake Lively trying to climb up on him, thank God. Maybe it?s really over between them.
And now everybody else. How about some man-child Sparkles? I loved how he barely got to speak when he presented. I hate his red hair, but it?s for some reshoots on Water for Elephants. All in all, he made an effort to not be such a mouth-breather, so good for him.
Oh, my Hamm, my Hamm. Why did Mad Men get shut out? Why no love for the Hamm Dong? Sigh?
Do you know how much I love Mark Ruffalo? I adore him so, so much. Here he is, dancing with his wife.
Johnny Depp - I know a lot of you hate how he?s been looking lately, but I thought he looked nice last night. He looks great when he?s not wearing eyeliner.
I know some of you (Melissa Leo!) love some Jeremy Irons. He?s not my type, but I will throw you bitches a bone.
I love the new and improved Christian Bale so much. He?s trying, y?all. He?s making the effort, personality-wise. So I?ll do him a solid and say that I don?t mind the Jesus beard and hair. Hey, at least it looks clean.
Bruce is starting to look his age. But I kind of love the guy anyway.
I know this inclusion won?t be super-popular, but I thought Trent Reznor was really hot last night. He treated the event with respect, he wore a nice suit, and he spoke very well without having to read off of a prepared list. SEXY. Professionalism is hot.
I find Chris Evans hot. I know I?m kind of alone in that, but I adore him.
Matt Bomer looked really great too - the boy can wear a tux, and I like that he went classic. White Collar is coming back this week!!! Tomorrow, right?
Was Robert DeNiro drunk? Did someone else write his speech? Or was he just having fun, burning the joint down? I don?t know. What I do know is that Matt Damon is adorable.
Joseph Gordon Levitt. Adorable.
Last but not least, Colin Firth. Love him. Adore him. Wish he gave really amazing acceptance speeches, but his aren?t terrible. I want more references to “man love”.

Ready for an exciting Tinseltown evening, Ryan Gosling was on-hand for the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (January 16).
Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the "Notebook" hunk dutifully worked the arrivals area before heading inside to grab up his primo reserved seat.
Always one of the more popular guys to grace the big screen, Mr Gosling is up for Best Actor for her work in "Blue Valentine" while competing against Jesse Eisenberg, Colin Firth, Mark Wahlberg and James Franco.
Along with selecting the tops in cinema, the show also chose Robert De Niro to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for career achievement.

| Ryan Gosling smolders as GQ's January cover boy | Added 14 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Ryan Gosling is the January cover boy for GQ Magazine. GOSDONG!!! I know many of you are over him now that he?s slipping The Gosdong to Blake Lively, but I still have some affection for him. He got a Golden Globe nomination this morning too - and maybe he?ll even bring Blake as his date!!! Good times. Anyway, GQ has only released a few select excerpts from their cover interview. Also: Gosling took his GQ interviewer to Disneyland. At this point, the boy has a Disney fetish, he really does. Once, even twice if your name appears with ?Magic Castle? I?ll let it go - but we?re going on at least a half dozen Gosling-Disneyland references in a year. Enough. Here are the highlights:
?The path of the Reluctant Movie Star has been well worn at least since Brando, but few have walked it as doggedly and resolutely as Gosling,? writes GQ correspondent Brett Martin. All of Ryan Gosling?s roles, with the exception of The Notebook, have been ?small, odd, and metaphysically mysterious.? Even his two latest movies, All Good Things and Blue Valentine, ?do little to alter the perception that he will only do those things that appeal to his own, confident sense of what?s worth doing.?
The two spent time together at some of Gosling?s favorite L.A. spots, including the Magic Castle and The Varnish, discussing family (he comes from a ?family of believers?) and his various jobs outside of acting (including working at a local deli). Gosling says his latest film (with rumblings of an Oscar nod), Blue Valentine, is the best he?ll ever make.
Ryan Gosling on his family?s willful suspension of disbelief:
?My mother still believes in Santa Claus. We tried to break it to her once, but she wasn?t having it. There are very few believers in the world, but my mother is one of them. I don?t know if she?d admit that this is why she does it, but it?s just more fun to believe in Santa than not to.?
?on why he got a job at a deli after his Hollywood hit, The Notebook:
? ?I?d never had a real job,? he says. The problem with Hollywood, he goes on, is that nobody works. ?They have meals. They go to Pilates. But it?s not enough. So they do drugs. If everybody had a pile of rocks in their backyard and spent every day moving them from one side of the yard to the other, it would be a much happier place.? ?
?on expecting retribution from his success:
?Look, this is crazy. I don?t understand how I?m here, living this life, wearing this suit. I assume I?m going to pay for it someday?. And that?s okay. It seems fair to me. I just want to be ready for it. I want to meet it like a gentleman.?
[From GQ]
You know who Gosling reminds me of a little bit? Shia Labeouf. It?s like there?s some sort of desire - in both Gosling and Shia - to come across as somewhat creepy/weird, just in attempt to be different. And I hate to say it, but I think Shia does it with more authenticity, you know? Shia seems genuinely creepy and weird. Gosling seems like he?s trying too hard.
