Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have been slammed by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for wearing fur and are currently at numbers one and two respectively in the voting for the organization?s annual poll.A PETA spokesperson said: ?She may be a cougar, but that?s not helping fur-loving Demi Moore in the eyes of animal lovers.?The organization also criticizes Ashton for wearing a coyote coat at the Sundance Film Festival.Slamming the contenders in the latest short list, PETA said: ?This year, you will find most of the usual cold-hearted, tacky offenders, because any celebs who really matter just don?t wear dead animal skins.?People are invited to vote for their ?worst offender? on Peta.org until March 2.

Following a press conference and photo call earlier in the day, Demi Moore attended the 59th Berlin International Film Festival premiere of “Happy Tears” on Wednesday evening (February 11).
The “Indecent Proposal” damsel was accompanied by her main man Ashton Kutcher, as the two smiled for photographers and waved to a large gathering of fans eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars.

Yesterday they were spotted catching a flight at LAX International Airport, and earlier today Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore arrived at the Tegel Airport on a flight from Frankfort, Germany.
The “Punk’d” stud and his “Charlie’s Angels” wife looked happy to be headed to the 59th Berlin International Film Festival, though they both sported dark sunglasses to chase away the jet lag.

Ashton Kutcher is standing up for Michael Phelps after photos surfaced of the Olympian smoking marijuana.“God forbid he hit a bong,” Kutcher Twittered about the incident on Monday. “Go ask your 20-year-old kid what they did last weekend.”I’m not saying it was a smart move. But he doesn’t need to be publicly outed for it,” Kutcher went on.The photo wound up in a British tabloid Sunday. Kutcher said, “Whoever put the pic out is an a**!”Of Phelps - who was arrested for DUI in 2004 - Kutcher wrote: “He’s a good kid.”

People are weighing in on the controversial photo of Micheal Phelps smoking a bong that was published in The News of the World over the weekend. Phelps has been cashing in on his reputation with endorsement deals after a record setting 14 Olympic gold medals and seven world swimming records. The 23 year-old may be able to achieve greats that others can only dream of, but he’s not immune to temptation. He admitted to smoking pot and said in a statement that he’s sorry for letting his fans down and it won’t happen again.
Many of you said that pot is not a big deal and that it should be legal or at least decriminalized anyway. Ashton Kutcher seems to agree, and he twittered that many 20-somethings do the same thing:

While Kutcher said he hasn’t smoked pot “in quite some time … I’m not immune to a lapse in good judgment from time to time.”

Companies are paying Michael Phelps millions to endorse their products, and they’re relying on his image to sell everything from cars to sugar cereal. A lot of young kids smoke pot, but they’re not cashing in on their hero status. Phelps is held to a higher standard because he’s achieved so much in his life. He knows this, and he should keep his partying to a minimum if he doesn’t want to affect his bottom line.
Last year, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were rumored to be trying to convince Phelps to star in a reality show they wanted to produce. Phelps was seen out having drinks with Kutcher and Moore and was said to have also gone over to their place for dinner. We haven’t heard much more about that, so it may have been just a rumor or Phelps might not have wanted to go through with it. A reality show sounds like a much worse idea for Phelps’ reputation than being photographed smoking some pot.

Adding a little star power to The Giving Back Fund’s VIP “Big Game - Big Give” charity event, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were out in South Tampa on Saturday evening (January 31).
The “Ghost” actress and her “Punk’d” hunk helped promote the $1,000 per ticket event, which funneled profits to the Giving Back Fund, an agency helping athletes and entertainers kickstart their own charities.

This week’s National Enquirer has a somewhat misleading inset cover story that reads “Finally! A Baby For Demi & Ashton. Summer delivery after years of trying.” They may be expecting a baby this summer, but Demi isn’t pregnant with her fourth child. Moore, 46, and Kutcher, 30, are said to be planning to adopt a baby boy. They’ve been together for six years and have been married for three and a pregnancy hasn’t been possible for them even with fertility assistance. The couple is rumored to have been inspired to adopt by new President Obama’s call for service.
Demi… and Ashton are believed to be going through a private adoption agency and hope to be parents by the summer. It’s a well-deserved triumph for the couple who suffered through failed attempts at in vitro fertilization….
“Both Ashton and Demi finally came to terms with the reality that (childbirth) is just not going to happen for them,” an insider told The Enquirer. “They had always resisted adoption because they wanted a baby of their own, but now everything has changed.
“They feel this is the best thing that could happen because they are able to give a child a great, loving start in life.”
The couple are enthusiastic backers of President Obama, and his election made them more optimistic about the future, which led them to get more serious about parenthood, said the insider.
“The couple talked a lot during Obama’s campaign and about his message,” divulged a close friend.
“It hit them that in this new period of hope and change, one of the best things they could do for a child - and for themselves - is to adopt a baby.”

The Enquirer reminds of Ashton and Demi’s star-filled video in which they humorously asked us to volunteer and help make the world a better place now that we have a new administration in Washington. Some of the suggestions in the video included smiling more, using less plastic bags and bottled water, and not flipping people off when we get pissed off in traffic. Ashton just recorded a petulant home video in which he swore and angrily complained about his neighbor’s home construction starting at 7am. If the dude would have followed his own advice, broadcast to the world just a week prior, he would have bitten his tongue and took the matter up with his neighbor and/or the town instead of bitching about it to the world immediately.
Now that Ashton is going to become a new dad, if this story is true, he should learn to deal with things with more maturity. He’s not going to be sleeping in much longer, and some construction next door is going to become a minor issue once he and Demi have a baby to care for.
It is thought that Demi and Ashton will adopt a boy. Demi has three daughters from her marriage to Bruce Willis, and she once mentioned in an interview that she wanted a boy to “balance out the estrogen” in her family.

They’re all about welcoming Barack Obama into his new office of President, and this morning Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were spotted attending the Entertainment Industry Foundation and ServiceNation’s “A New Era of Service” breakfast.
The “Butterfly Effect” stud and his “Charlie’s Angels” hottie wife looked to be enjoying themselves at the event, held at Ballou Senior High School in Washington DC.

Taking to the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, Demi Moore was on-hand to support hubby Ashton Kutcher during the premiere of his new movie “Spread” on Saturday (January 17).
Also mingling with Sundance Institute founder and president Robert Redford, the lovely couple took to Eccles Theatre to promote director David Mackenzie’s film about “a gigolo whose life of wealth and excess is turned upside down when he falls for a waitress.”
