Drew Barrymore and Justin Long have been on-and-off for about two years now. I have no idea what goes on in their relationship, but I?d always assumed it was something along the lines of Drew being a flowery free-love hippie, and Justin wanting to settle down and be in a real relationship with her. They?ve alleged split up and gotten back together several times over the past year, but it seems they are back ?on? right now, though Drew denies it.
It looks like my image of what?s going on behind-the-scenes might be off. It seems Justin is a bit of a womanizer, according to Radar. Allegedly, he?s slept with several of her friends, and Drew has ?confronted? him about it. There?s actually a little documented history to this. Last year, Drew (and a few paparazzi) allegedly found Justin making out with another woman, which caused one of their first splits.
As a successful actress, producer, and businesswoman, Drew Barrymore is not one to beat around the bush. While she and on-and-off again boyfriend Justin Long are currently the picture of romantic bliss, a source reveals new details about their rocky relationship to RadarOnline.com: including one dinner confrontation about his alleged cheating ways!
?It got so bad that Drew actually knew the girls who Justin was cheating with. He was so bold that he would bring her to dinners with them,? the insider shared. ?They?d all be sitting around a table at a restaurant in Los Angeles and Drew would ask Justin how many of the other girls at the table he had been with.?
Recently, Long and Barrymore have been spotted smooching in New York where they were filming scenes in Central Park for their upcoming movie Going the Distance. The film is about a couple that tries to maintain a long-distance relationship.

Seriously, Justin Long? I realize some girls find him cute in that dirt-lip, skinny, indie-rock, non-threatening way, but I don?t get it. Drew could do better, but she just has horrible taste in men. She loves love. She loves falling hard and she doesn?t always have respect for herself. Who would be good for Drew? Maybe Owen Wilson. That might work. She and Colin Farrell might be cute together too.

Starting the work week off on the set of “Going the Distance,” Drew Barrymore was spotted in the Big Apple earlier today (August 10).
The “He’s Just Not That Into You” actress was dolled up in costume in some black boots with jeans and a colorful 1980’s style t-shirt.
Ms Barrymore’s ex-boyfriend and co-star, Justin Long, was also on set this afternoon, and was enjoying a smoothie snack in between takes.
In other news, Drew’s directing debut will be released October 9, 2009 in a movie called “Whip It” which is about a confused teen – played by Ellen Page - who finds a roller derby league as her own bit of salvation. It’s based on the Shauna Cross novel, “Derby Girl.” Barrymore has a role in the film as well.

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were filming scenes in Central Park yesterday for their upcoming film Going the Distance. I have absolutely no idea what Going the Distance is about, but based on these stills I’m guessing it’s a horror film about demons disguised as people who suck the souls right out of the faces of innocent rowboating bystanders. Either that or it’s just some goofy romcom. It’s a toss-up, really.
But seriously, these two are pretty cute together. I’m not sure if they’re currently in an off or on phase of their rollercoaster relationship, but they’re still adorable in a nerdy kinda way.

Sharing a passionate embrace, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were spotted smooching on the set in New York City on Thursday (August 6).
The on again/off again lovers hopped aboard a boat at the Central Park Boathouse while they filmed a high-energy kiss scene for their new movie, “Going the Distance”.
In other news, Barrymore loves her favorite animal, which happens to be dolphins, so much that she is pretty sure she was one of the water mammals back in her previous life.
“They are just really special creatures and highly evolved. To tell you the truth, I’m convinced I was a dolphin in another life and that’s why I’m so attracted to them,” she told a friend.
The actress’s home is all about dolphins, having over 200 statues and figurines of them placed all over her house and property-even some that are carved from crystal and wood!
She also got to spend time with her animal friends, swimming with them while she visited the Bahamas and Hawaii.
Drew also has had some incidents with squirrels. It was reported that she was being played by squirrels after she started feeding a few in her backyard.
“At first three or four squirrels visited Drew when she went outside for a cigarette break - she called them Luke, Fab and Spike after a trio of her ex-boyfriends. But now more than a dozen flock to her each day,” a source said.

Dressed and ready to go, Drew Barrymore and Christina Applegate started the work week off bright and early this morning (July 27) in New York.
The lovely ladies both looked casual yet focused as they shot scenes for their upcoming film, “Going the Distance,” which is said to revolve around Drew’s character trying to cope with her long distance relationship.
And playing the opposite character of Ms Barrymore’s is on again off again real life boyfriend, Justin Long. This will be their second film together, as “He’s Just Not That Into You” was the first.
No release date has been set, but the film is expected to be out sometime in 2011.

Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz met for the first time when Drew was casting Charlie?s Angels, more than a decade ago. Almost instantly, Drew and Cameron became friends, vacationing together, hanging out endlessly, and in general, just being each other?s total BFF. But something happened last year. Drew broke off her relationship with Justin Long while Cameron was getting hot and heavy with British model Paul Sculfor. Second, Drew started working on Grey Gardens, which she has since admitted threw her for a loop emotionally. Drew told W Magazine that she cut a lot of people out of her life while she was making that film, and that it took her months to shake the character of Little Edie. One of those people who allegedly got cut out was Cameron.
Since then, the old Drew has returned. She seemed like her old self when she described herself as a ?good time gal? to David Letterman a few months ago. She got back together with Justin Long. But still, there have been persistent rumors that Drew and Cameron have failed to bury whatever hatchet ripped them apart. Until now!
Drew Barrymore recently rekindled her longtime friendship with Cameron Diaz, and it?s all thanks to her boyfriend, Justin Long.
Last summer, during ?Drew?s dark period,? as one friend describes it, after she broke up with Justin, she also distanced herself from Cameron.
?She was going through some personal issues, and her friendships and relationships just weren?t her priority,? the friend says.
But Drew?s back to her old happy self again, so Justin, 31, suggested she extend an olive branch to Cameron.
?They?re friends again, not BFFs yet, but friends,? the friend adds. ?It will take a while for things to get back to where they were, but it will happen.?

I like Drew and Cameron as besties. They make sense together. To me, they both seem like ditzy, klutzy, giggly girly-girls. But I guess both of them are growing up, maturing, and maybe neither wants to have the same kind of friendship they used to have. I?m not sure if I buy that Justin Long is the one who convinced Drew to reconnect, but if he did, he?s a great guy. I hope they realize that they can go back to being best friends without being stuck each other?s backsides, you know? They don?t have to do everything together, but they can still be very close. Delving into her latest project, Drew Barrymore was back on the set of “Going The Distance” in New York City on Tuesday (July 14).
The “ET” actress joined up with a group of on-set workers, getting into character for the romantic comedy about a long-distance relationship.
Meanwhile, any questions about Drew’s relationship with co-star Justin Long seem to have been answered during a recent night out at the Cabin Down Below in NYC’s East Village.
Talking about Barrymore and Long, a source said: “They were groping each other and making out in the middle of the bar - they couldn’t have cared less if there were other people in the room.”
The Life & Style insider added: “He held her hand or had his arm around her constantly. They make an adorable couple, and they seem totally in love!”

Getting down to work on her new movie “Going the Distance,” Drew Barrymore was spotted on the Brooklyn, New York City set this morning (July 13).
The “He’s Just Not That Into You” actress looked cute and casual as she strolled around the lot, sporting a red plaid button-up shirt, cuffed jeans, and strappy sandals.

Gearing up for another project, Drew Barrymore is about to see what it’s like living in a journalist’s shoes.
For her next movie role, the “ET” actress will spend a week in a real newsroom to shoot scenes for “Going The Distance”.
The movie finds Barrymore and her ex-boyfriend, Justin Long, playing long-distance lovers and is expected to hit theaters in 2011.
Barrymore will be playing a journalist who works at a fictional newspaper the New York Sentinel, but will get to film scenes at Associated Press.
Also acting as background in the movie is the New York’s Daily News, which is based in the same Manhattan office building as AP’s headquarters and will appear as a fictional rival newspaper to the Sentinel.
