Stepping out for a night on the town with her man, Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler were arrm-in-arm in Los Angeles, CA last night (April 17).
The ?Genie in a Bottle? songstress looked to be having a good time as she and her beau first chowed down at Craig's Restaurant before hitting up a party at Sunset Marquis - where she was saved by her man from a near-tumble after tripping on the curb.
Earlier in the evening on ?The Voice,? Christina ended up eliminating Ashley De La Rosa from her team, despite her wonderful performance of ?You and I.?
Prior to deciding between Ashley and her teammate Lindsay Pavao, Ms. Aguilera gushed, ?I really love these two girls a lot. I really believe in you. You both are complete superstars.?

Christina Aguilera and her armpit fat performed on “The Voice” last night in what best I can figure is some sort of industrial-strength polymer girdle and a pair of platform boots that would make Lita Ford weep with delight. She looks like a if-they-mated Brooke Hogan and Snooki with premenstrual bloat.

I?ve been harshly judging Christina Aguilera for months now. Maybe it?s even been a year? At some point, Christina stopped with the pretenses and she just became a complete and total wreck. It?s not even about her weight, although she is the poster girl for what nonstop alcohol consumption does to your body. Christina?s whole vibe changed. Suddenly she was pap?ing herself pantsless and getting into liquor-soaked catastrophes with her boy-toy, Matt Rutler. Her clown makeup got more and more extreme. She started wearing one pair of leggings for every occasion. She made Etta James?s funeral all about her and her weird sweat/period dribble. She also claimed (repeatedly) that she was very happy with the way she looked, which? I claimed was BS. I thought that whenever Christina lost some weight, all of a sudden we would hear about how happy she was with her weight loss, etc.
So these are some new photos of Christina and her boy Matthew Rutler, last night in LA. Do they both look sh-tfaced? Sure. But Christina is looking SO MUCH better, right? She?s lost a little weight, she bought a new dress that fits (sort of), she decided to wear some ?foundation garments? (Spanx), and her hair and makeup is notably improved. Of course, her boobs are still kind of out of control, but isn?t it nice to see them harnessed in and supported? Is this the start of a whole new Christina? I will be very happy if her days as a hot mess are over.

Stepping out for a bite to eat, Christina Aguilera was spotted at the Little Door restaurant in Los Angeles last night (April 3).
The ?Ain?t No Other Man? songstress was joined by her boyfriend Matthew Rutler as she made her exit and discovered a swarm of shutterbugs waiting for her.
As for her gig on ?The Voice,? Christina?s team was up on Monday night, with three singers trying their best to avoid elimination- Sera Hill, Moses Stone, and Ashley De La Rosa.
And on last night?s elimination, Ms. Aguilera opted to save Ashley De La Rosa from going home, and she?ll be back to sing next week.

Closing out the week as one of the talk show's celebrity guests, Christina Aguilera made an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Friday night (March 23).
The 31-year-old took the NBC Burbank Studios stage in a fabulous Alexander McQueen lace-effect fine-knit frock paired with Christian Louboutin Daffodile platform pumps while on hand to plug her NBC music competition show "The Voice".
During the course of the interview, Leno played a video of Miss Aguilera and fellow coach Adam Levine arguing on the set of "The Voice," after which Christina dubbed the Maroon 5 frontman as a wannabe Justin Timberlake.
Christina's other topics of conversation included her profound admiration of the late Etta James and her Disney habit, while she topped it all off by being joined by her team from "The Voice" to singer with Rickey Minor and the band from "The Tonight Show".

Just to be upfront, I?d like to admit that I?ve never seen The Voice. Not even a few minutes of it. I actively avoid it when it?s on. So I have no idea if Christina Aguilera is a trainwreck on the show, or if she?s really sweet and cute, or whatever. I?m just basing my opinion of Christina on her more tabloid-y persona, the public appearances in full-blown drag queen makeup, sauced out of her mind, and her general state of disarray. It?s always amazing/fascinating to see how different Christina Aguilera looks when she?s not A) stumbling around drunk in candid photos, B) applying her makeup herself while under the influence and C) wearing her patented ?clown face? style of said makeup. I know this Latina Magazine cover has a healthy dose of Photoshop, but Christina is definitely helped along by a quality makeup job and lighter, more appropriate makeup.
On getting married and divorced at a young age: ?Was I too young? Not at all. I did the exact right thing at the time?.I definitely wasn?t too young. I have always been older than my age.?
On growing older: ?I was on the set of a film and the choreographer was 19 and I looked around at all the dancers and I was like, ‘Whoa! I?m the oldest person in this room. When did that happen?’?

Does Christina really get criticized for not being ?Latina enough? or is that just a straw man argument Christina is using to throw herself a pity party? I?ve always known Christina is Latina, and I?ve never heard her deny it or shrug off her ancestry, unlike Jessica ?Don?t Call Me Latina, I?m Merely Racially Ambiguous? Alba. I don?t think Christina has a problem there, I really don?t. And if she wants to do another Spanish album, go for it.
My favorite quotes was the thing about ?Eating, sleeping?It?s my domain and my throne?I do it all in my bed.? Damn, ?Tina. We get it. You eat pork chops in bed. You apply your clown makeup in bed. You guzzle your box of tequila in bed. And then you have sex with your boy toy IN BED.

True story: yesterday?s Christina Aguilera story grossed me out. Christina performed at Etta James?s funeral, and the whole thing was arguably disastrous. My take was that Christina made the funeral about her drunken wailing, her sketchy, gross-looking bolt-ons, and the fact that she had something dripping down her legs. Oh, and she probably wasn?t wearing panties. That?s the gross part – worst case scenario, she was dribbling urine or menstruation, which likely means Christina was going commando to a FUNERAL. Best case scenario, Christina was drunk and overheated, and she sweated off several layers of body makeup/fake-tan. Anyway, Christina has heard our cries of ?EWWwwww? and she (an ?insider?) tells Us Weekly what was really going on:
Xtina did Etta proud. Christina Aguilera sang at Saturday’s memorial service at an L.A. church for the late Etta James — crooning the legendary blues’ singer’s classic “At Last” for hundreds of mourners. (Stevie Wonder sang with the church choir, while Rev. Al Sharpton delivered the eulogy.)
In photos of Aguilera’s incredible tribute to James — who passed away Jan. 20 — fans noticed odd streaks running down her legs.
“She sang her heart out. It was a memorial service for her idol and she was nervous,” an insider explains to Us of the performance. (Aguilera, 31, has been covering “At Last” for years and called James “a true gift to music and a woman of great spirit and courage” on her website after James’ death.”
“It was her proudest moment,” the source explains. “The sweat caused her spray tan to streak.”

Do you like how Us Weekly broke up that quote? ?She was nervous?? AND? She was nervous, so she piddled on herself? She was nervous so she had diarrhea? She was nervous because she wasn?t wearing drawers in church?!?! TELL ME. Ah, she was nervous and sweating. Got it. That?s what I originally thought too, but in other photos I?ve seen of the sketchy liquid, I have to admit? (ugh)? I think she might have gotten her period. I don?t know.

Reuniting for the sake of the son, Christina Aguilera and ex-husband Jordan Bratman took Max for a family night at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (January 29).
The "Voice" coach and her former partner didn't seem all that thrilled to be spending time with one another as they coldly walked alongside one another after taking in the recently opened Cirque du Soleil stage show "Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL World Tour".
The family night out comes a day after Miss Aguilera belted out "At Last" during Etta James' funeral at Bishop Noel Jones City of Refuge in Gardena, California.
After her performance in honor of the late singer, the 31-year-old tweeted, "One of the greatest moments of my life...Singing with my idol, the legendary Etta James. You will be forever missed."

She loves to dote on her adorable son Max, and yesterday (January 12) Christina Aguilera was spotted taking him to Legoland for his birthday.
The ?Ain?t No Other Man? songstress treated her 4-year-old boy to a birthday boat ride, and also hit up several other attractions at the amusement park.
Showing off some parental pride, Christina tweeted, ?Spent today at Legoland with the love of my life. Happy bday Max!?
And in a recent interview, Ms. Aguilera expressed her delight that 2011 is over. ?That was a rough year?Between my divorce and the other things I went through, a lot happened. It?s hard for anyone to go through that in public. But when you?re a celebrity and under a microscope, it?s 58 million times harder. I grew an even thicker skin after that hard year.?
