Continuing along with her non-stop promotional efforts, Sienna Miller looked pretty in purple as she visited the “Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien” on Wednesday night (August 6).
The “Layer Cake” cutie was on-hand boosting interest in her upcoming movie “G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra” - which hits theaters this Friday (August 7).
During her visit, Miss Miller revealed that things got pretty hot on the “G.I. Joe” set as she worked opposite co-star Channing Tatum.
“I burned my boobs in an explosion that went wrong,” Sienna told Conan, adding, “They’re fine. Let’s not grunt on it.”

Have you ever wanted to see Sienna Miller?s side-boob? No? Well, you?re in luck! Sienna Miller decided to go braless in an inappropriate sequined blouse on Regis & Kelly yesterday, and she flashed the audience and the cameras her side-boob. The blouse really was a bad call - the ?sleeves? were oversized, so when Sienna lifted her arm even a little bit, you can make out ?the full side-boob?. Huffington Post has the footage.
While promoting G.I. Joe in New York yesterday - which, by the way, is so bad the studio isn?t even showing it to reviewers - Sienna Miller got some questions about her ex-fianc Jude Law and his baby-mama drama. To her credit, Sienna defended Jude and urged privacy, saying, ?I don’t think it’s any of our business to talk about that. It’s not mine and it’s not anyone’s. It’s a very private matter, I think.? I?m actually a little shocked that she didn?t reference the nanny, or how she, Sienna, is the real victim. So, yeah. I?ll give her credit for being nice and respectful about her ex.
In other Sienna news, she sat down for a pretty tough interview with the Guardian recently, and the person interviewing her really didn?t let her get away with anything. First, the Guardian journalist declares that G.I. Joe is ?insultingly inane, cynically commercial, and almost unwatchably awful.? So, of course, once Sienna found out that the interviewer didn?t like the film, Sienna had to bad-mouth her paycheck a little too, saying ?Well, if these films are well done I can find them quite entertaining? But no, I prefer indie, arty films really. It’s not the kind of film I’d normally go and see.? Here are some of the highlights from the Guardian interview:
On Balthazar Getty and being called a ?homewrecker?: “I don’t really want to talk about it,” she says quietly, when I bring up the rumpus of last summer. “I just don’t need that, I really don’t. It was like, I ? well, I experienced the judgment of a lot of people ? and deservedly so.” She stares at the floor, twisting her shoulders. “So that’s it.”
How it would all be different if she was a man, or, say, Johnny Depp : ?Well, it is different? It’s difficult being a woman in this ? in any ? business. I don’t think we live in a particularly equal society. But sometimes that’s down to our own behaviour.” I ask in what way. “Oh, this is such a deep conversation!” she exclaims, throwing her head back. “And I just know I’m going to say the wrong thing. I can feel it coming? I’m not complaining? I just think it’s, uh, interesting. The truth is, if you’re a man it is a lot easier. I would love to be, you know, Johnny Depp; be a great actor and do great choices and be very private, I would love that. But it’s just not ? well, you become a target for a certain kind of attention, and it’s hard to shake. And I’ve done a lot of things that have probably inadvertently attracted attention. All sorts of things ? just generally the way I live my life, going out, getting pissed, being seen. So I suppose my behaviour, if you look at it from the outside, would seem as if I’ve somehow contributed towards it, or wanted it.”
On ?playing the game? with the paparazzi: ?They don’t leave you alone. I’ve tried it, and they still follow you all day.” She pauses and then, to my surprise, she admits honestly: “I don’t know. I just don’t want to play the game. Which is stupid, probably, and has caused me a lot of problems. But I just found it really difficult, as a person. Because I didn’t want to adapt, I didn’t want to conform. I didn’t want my life to change. I was probably greedy in thinking that I could have a career and work and stay exactly the same, and have my life and do what I wanted in it. And, actually, that was really naive. I think I was very naive? I’m basically a mass of contradictions. I’ve said things and meant them, but I’m obviously a very confused person who has no idea how they feel about things.”
On being called a hypocrite: She laughs. “I know, I just worry because I know I say a lot, often. I’ve been so careless and loose lipped. Whatever I say, I get myself into trouble. And you know, it doesn’t bother me ? but my mother reads it, and just goes, please! It’s more about the people that get affected around me. I think I’d like to protect myself maybe a little bit better, because the repercussions are often quite upsetting ? the repercussions of my own mouth upon myself ? and I get bollockings. It’s just a lot of drama for ? you know, I could keep my opinions to myself, or share them with people who aren’t writing them down. And not change my personality, but be a little bit more guarded and self-protective. But I’m not . . . I try, but I’m not very good at it.”
On taking a media-training course: The producer of GI Joe, she joked last year, had threatened to get her lessons in how to conduct herself in an interview ? “and he was only half-joking”. I’m starting to wonder if he saw it through. “They did talk about media training, but,” she adds quickly, looking embarrassed, “I didn’t do it.”
[From The Guardian]
The Johnny Depp part made me angry. It reminded me of the Jessica Biel-Meryl Streep thing. Yes, I get that technically Jessica Biel was trying to say how much she admired Meryl Streep and Cate Blanchett, but I was left with the impression that, in Jessica?s mind, she wouldn?t ever have a Meryl Streep-type career because she?s so gorgeous. I feel the same way about Sienna name-dropping Johnny Depp. Obviously, Johnny is an actor adored by other actors, and of course Depp?s name will be repeated over and over by his fellow actors. But taken in context in Sienna?s interview, she sounds like she?s saying that her behavior would be taken differently if she were a man. That?s sort of true, but there?s something else there: that Sienna doesn?t really see the difference between Johnny?s conscious decision to take himself and his family out of the spotlight for the past decade, and Sienna?s ?anything goes, especially if you?re married? philosophy.

Not only did her reputation take a hit when the news of her affair with Balthazar Getty went public, but now Sienna Miller admits that her ego took a hit too.
The “Factory Girl” star revealed how she suffered a “semi-breakdown” and that her emotions got the better of her especially when the word “slut” was graffitied across the front wall of her London home.
Ms Miller told press, “I got to a point where I was like, ‘I will just run away’,” she said. “It was just breaking my spirits, and I had been pretty resilient for a long time.”
She continued, “I was not able to leave the house and was living in a state of fear, when I’m really a fearless person.”

Sienna Miller is just a step or two away from Amy Winehouse. Amy came in third in ?least hygienic celebrity? poll a year and a half ago (right after Tommy Lee and Pam Anderson), and while Sienna?s name was never mentioned, I could see her coming in fourth. There was a day and time I would have stuck Britney Spears in one of those top ? and highly coveted ? spots. But Sienna just has this sort of look about her I can?t explain. But it?s a look that says ?I?m very casual about hygiene.? And I?m guessing it?s random too. She probably goes to great lengths to keep her girly parts in good aesthetic order, but she might only wash her hair once a week.
Sienna admits she?s lazy when it comes to a lot of basic cleanliness rituals. She doesn?t even bother to wash her face with soap or a cleanser, and often uses shampoo just because it?s there. Consequently, she has bad skin. Who?d have thought?
‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’ star Sienna Miller is so lazy she discards expensive beauty products and scrubs her face with shampoo because it’s already in the shower.
Sienna Miller washes her face with shampoo. The ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra’ star claims she is too lazy to take proper care of her skin, often scrubbing it with whatever is in her shower. The 27-year-old actress explained: ‘I don’t have any beauty tips. If you only knew… I wash my face with shampoo and I’ve got bad skin because of it. I’m not the right person to ask about that sort of thing? I don’t feel like a beautiful woman. I don’t give it too much thought. It’s not something I obsess about, and, like anyone, I get pretty insecure. Sometimes more so because there is more focus on me. ?
Sienna also denied she gets upset when she is featured on the worst-dressed pages of magazines and newspapers. She added to the UAE edition of Insider magazine: ‘I don’t care about those lists. I tend to love the outfits that end up on the worst-dressed pages anyway - they’re my favourite. I try not to read those magazine and I definitely don’t take them seriously. ?I don’t dress for them, I dress for me and whatever expresses my mood at that moment. I just have fun with it.’

I know shampoo can be used for other things if need be, like washing your body if you?re out of soap. And if it comes down to it, I think conditioner can be used instead of shaving cream (as can soap, obviously). There are a lot of things you can substitute in the shower when you run out, but most women are pretty picky about what they put on their faces. Especially when you?re a celebrity. People notice your skin when your face is five feet wide on a theater screen. And in terms of laziness, I understand skipping shaving your legs. That?s laziness that?s understandable. But washing your face with shampoo just because it?s closer? It?s probably one of the three most important things you do in the shower, and definitely the easiest. Most shampoos have a ton of fragrance and ingredients I wouldn?t want on my face.
It?s no surprise Sienna?s a bigger fan of the ?worst dressed? clothes. She?s definitely worn some lovely dresses, but I?m assuming she has a good stylist. If she doesn?t care what she puts on her face I doubt she has great natural style either. Unless sleeping with married men is a style. I guess it is in a way, at least a lifestyle in her case.

The Sienna Miller Baroness action figure from the upcoming “G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra” was just released to toy stores nationwide this week — and of course, it’s not good enough for her. The NY Daily News says
Despite the honor [of being immortalized in plastic], the Brit has spoken out about her dismay over her Doppelganger. “My doll is cross-eyed and has the biggest chin you have ever seen,” she complained of the brunette Baroness doll. “She looks sort of possessed.”
I was all prepared to call her a spoiled ungrateful cunt until I got a look at the doll myself. Boy, she wasn’t kidding. That things is hideous. It looks like the Pileforth Academy headmistress from “Three Men in a Little Lady” in a leather catsuit. How’s that for an obscure referencej, bitches?

Sienna Miller is the cover girl for the August issue of Nylon Magazine. I don?t think much about the cover shot, or of the accompanying pics from the whole shoot (Here’s Nylon’s slideshow). It looks like Nylon decided they didn?t want to airbrush Sienna into oblivion, so they just put some kind of extremely bright lighting on her. It washes her out in a lot of the pics, but there?s one photo where she doesn?t look washed out, she just looks beat. Of course, the lighting in that picture is normal. So that?s probably what Sienna looks like naturally - beat, tired and sun damaged.
The site has an excerpt from the cover interview, and two pieces caught my attention. First, the obvious one: ?I don?t want people analyzing the shape of my muff!? Easy-peasy, Sienna. If you don?t want muff-analysis, keep your muff covered. Sometimes the easiest solutions are the hardest to think of, I know. The second quote that caught my attention was when Sienna is talking about her April ?awareness-raising? trip to the Congo (DRC). Sienna says about the trip, ?If I?d done it for publicity, I would have taken a photographer? I?m not just lending my name to it. We went to a war zone, we lived in camps.? Here?s more:
On paparazzi assault: ?I was doing a scene for this film, Hippie Hippie Shake [out later this year], where we all had to get naked and swim in this lake? And a photographer snuck onto the set and hid in a bush all night and got photos of me naked and put it on the cover of the News of the World. Me, full-frontal naked. I don?t want to be naked on the cover of a Sunday newspaper! I don?t! I don?t want people analyzing the shape of my muff!?
On choosing G.I. Joe over another indie project: ?It?s really exciting to be in a film that people actually want to go and see! I was having to pay people to see my movies!? certain really great directors have wanted to do films with me, but unless you?ve had a film that?s opened with a certain amount of money, you?re not bankable to studios? if you want to make amazing, artistic films, you?ve got to have some sort of box office credibility, which I don?t have.?
On her recent mission to the Congo: ?If I?d done it for publicity, I would have taken a photographer? I?m not just lending my name to it. We went to a war zone, we lived in camps. I would like to see those [detractors] doing the journey we did? I basically realized that I was so resentful for so long about the state of my celebrity, but I wanted to turn it around and do something good.?
On what you should say if you meet her when she moves to NYC: ?I?ll be in a customs line and the guy will be like, ?Hey, can?t wait for GI Joe!? And I?ll be like, ?Woo!?
[From Nylon]
For those who checked the post from April, I?d like to make three points. First, Sienna did go into the DRC?s refugee camps and war zone briefly, but the first part of her ?awareness-raising? blog was about the luxury hotels she was staying in and all of the wine she was drinking. I don?t know why other people were criticizing her, but that?s why I was. She sounded like a vapid dilettante blogging about her cool African vacation rather than a young woman trying to understand more about the world and challenge herself.
Second point: she didn?t take a cameraman or a photographer? Then who was the guy claiming to be ?David Serota, cinematographer? who had a hissy fit about us calling Sienna out for her wine-soaked blogging? Go back to the original post if you don?t believe me, he commented twice. He was most likely one of Sienna?s PR lackeys who’s paid to comment about her.
Third point: Sienna says, ?I basically realized that I was so resentful for so long about the state of my celebrity.? Puh-lease. She was upset that people kept on criticizing her for openly carrying on an affair with a married man for more than a year, and attempted to change the subject with one quick trip to the DRC. Notice she hasn?t stuck with it? No goodwill ambassadorships, no honorary chairwomanships to a well-meaning charity, no plans to return. It was purely a public relations trip designed to change Sienna?s image. And in my mind, it failed. That failure also denigrates the work many celebrities do for genuine, serious, well-intentioned reasons. So Sienna hurt more than herself.

She’s been working overtime on the promotional trail, and earlier today (July 27) Sienna Miller was spotted at the Japanese premiere of “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” in Tokyo, Japan.
The “Hippie Hippie Shake” hottie looked sexy chic as she arrived at Lala Port Toyosu sporting a sparkly black jacket with matching high-waisted trousers and some massive peep-toe platform heels.
Also in attendance was Sienna’s uber-hunky costar Channing Tatum along with his beautiful wife Jenna Dewan.
Miss Miller told press that she has high hopes for “G.I. Joe” to give her the box office cred she needs to be taken seriously as an actress.
“It’s really exciting to be in a film that people actually want to go and see! I was having to pay people to see my movies! If you want to make amazing, artistic films, you’ve got to have some sort of box office credibility, which I don’t have.”
