| Kate Beckinsale in a tight sequin dress on Letterman: overdone or gorgeous? | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kate Beckinsale was on The Late Show last night in a tight sequin one-shoulder Donna Karan gown. She paired it with Louboutin slingbacks and big diamond Neil Lane hoop earrings. She was promoting the fourth Underworld movie, Underworld: Awakening. As Lainey mentions, it looks like she was dressing for an awards ceremony, not for Letterman. She’s so pretty but she constantly overdresses and overstyles herself. Her hair extensions were also ridiculously long as usual. For some reason her hair bugs me like that as it often looks very fake.
On Letterman (video above) Kate told some funny stories involving her 13 year-old daughter. She said that her daughter, Lily, thinks of her mom as embarrassing now. She also shared a photo and a story about parasailing with Lily on vacation in the Bahamas. It was basically terrifying for both of them. I’ve seen other interviews with Kate and she’s always funny, prepared with good stories and completely “on” without seeming to try too hard. (Apart from her fashion.) She never shares anything particularly revealing and she’s clearly got the game down.
In terms of how I feel about her, I’m basically neutral. She seems to get papped a disproportionate amount to her level of fame, and I’m sure she sets up candids. She’s not offensive in any way, but I do find her a bit phony. She’s overrated, I guess that sums it up for me.
Here are some recent photos of her. She looks like Posh, right? So perfectly put together. Somewhat put out to be photographed in transit, but not really.

I don’t often get Kate Beckinsale on the site, she’s far too busy being one of the hottest moms on the planet, but when I do she certainly makes an impression. Here she is outside the Letterman studios showing off her incredible MILF good looks. She’s been married for quite some time now, I think

She?s always a sight to see and tonight (January 10) was no exception, as Kate Beckinsale arrived ahead of her appearance on ?The Late Show.?
Clad in a sparkly black frock, the beautiful brunette actress smiled and waved to her fans who had gathered outside NYC?s Ed Sullivan Theatre for her sit-down with late night host David Letterman.
As of late, Beckinsale has had a full schedule promoting her upcoming flick ?Underworld Awakening? - a movie in which she reprises her role as vampire warrior Selene.
In a recent interview, Kate explained that she was a bit put-off by her character?s sexy, skin-tight costume at first, telling, ?I remember the first [2003] movie I did I was very intimidated by the costume. I trust it now. Actually, it gives you a little bit of help, if anything."

What’s better than one post of Kate Beckinsale? Two posts of Kate Beckinsale within 24 hours of each other. You’re welcome. I like Grey Goose vodka and dark chocolate truffles if you’d like to send those along as thanks.

| Kate Beckinsale Will Bring World Peace in 2012 | Added 12 years ago | Source: Yeeeah |

So, we’re really late today in bringing you more posts. Can I make it up to you by posting pictures of Kate Beckinsale? I mean, what better way to say, “I’m sorry that I passed out for the entire afternoon and didn’t do any more posts” than by showing you pictures of the perfection that is Kate? I’m pretty sure that if we just all took some time to stop and meditate on these pictures, we could achieve World Peace in 2012. And that would just be from low-res pictures like these. Imagine if they weren’t sort of grainy, what we could accomplish? I’m pretty sure we’d discover clean power for all, an end to drought, and where all those missing socks in countless dryers around the world have gone. Behold, the power of Kate.

She?s grown accustomed to a travel-intensive lifestyle over the years, and yesterday (December 28) Kate Beckinsale was spotted arriving for a flight at LAX International Airport.
Joined by her husband Len Wiseman and daughter Lily Mo Sheen, the ?Serendipity? actress looked cute and casual as she made her way to her gate.
In career news, Kate?s new trailer for her film ?Underworld: Awakening? recently hit the internet, much to the delight of her loyal fans.
The flick hits theaters January 20, 2012 and also stars Michael Ealy and India Eisley in a plot that sees the Vampire and Lycan clans face elimination from human forces.

?Tis the season for giving, and ?Underworld Awakening? has been generous with some new stills from the upcoming flick.
And from the looks of photos, Kate Beckinsale is kicking butts and taking names as her vampire warrioress Selene.
?Underworld Awakening? also stars Charles Dance, India Eisley, Michael Ealy, and Kris Holden-Ried in the story of humans who try to eradicate both the Vampire and Lycan clans.
While the film doesn?t hit theaters until January 20th, (in 3D, 2D, and IMAX), these pictures should help to curb the appetite.

Note to self: Include Anthony Mackie in the next Hot Guy Friday. For real, he?s so adorable.
These are new photos of the always cute Anthony Mackie and the always try-hard Kate Beckinsale, announcing the Independent Spirit Awards yesterday. Let?s just talk about the superficial stuff before we discuss the noms – why is Kate Beckinsale there? And how cute is her dress? And why don?t my legs look that sexy? As for Anthony – I?m not loving the length of his hair right now. It?s like it?s a half an inch away from being totes Boyz II Men. I also love the gap in his teeth – folklore has it that the gap signifies a lustful nature. PLS!
Here?s the list of this season?s Independent Spirit Award nominees – I?m just including the bigger awards, and you can see the full list here.

Corey Stoll Midnight in Paris
Random thoughts: no lead actress nomination for Glenn Close for Albert Nobbs? Weird. Maybe she?s not a major Best Actress contender after all – which is what I kind of suspected after seeing the trailer, which was a hot mess. And no Joseph Gordon Levitt for Lead Actor for 50/50? That sucks! And no Clooney either – The Descendants and 50/50 both got recognized for best film, but their leads both got shut out. That?s kind of funny in Clooney?s case, since he?s Mr. Oscar Campaign this year.
Beginners is starting to get a lot of buzz too – it won big at the Gotham Awards. The Artist and Jean Dujardin are on everyone?s ?Best of? lists right now, so I guess I have to start paying attention to that film. My guesses for the lead awards are Dujardin and Michelle Williams. If it?s not Dujardin, it will be Gosling – I remember when he won the Spirit Award for Half Nelson, and it wouldn?t surprise me if they awarded him again. The supporting categories are anyone?s guess. Meh.
