Careful not to trip in her high heels, Kate Beckinsale rushed to catch her awaiting car in Los Angeles today (July 25).
The 38-year-old British actress looked radiant in a bright white form-fitting dress with turquoise heels.
Soon you can see the "Underworld" star in the reboot of "Total Recall" in which she plays Colin Farrell's onscreen wife, Lori. Jessica Biel stars as Melina, a rebel who helps Farrell's character after the "Rekall" experience.
Director Len Wiseman, who just happens to be Beckinsale's husband, made sure his leading lady would be a part of the film, even if it meant a smaller role.
In an interview with MTV the brunette beauty explained, "We'd had a conversation about the fact that I wasn't available and we were both being very grown-up about it and he said, 'Well, maybe, will you play the three-breasted hooker just so that you're in the movie?' And I was like, 'OK,' because it had been a very long time since I saw the movie ['Total Recall']."
Relieved, the 41-year-old actress later laughed about the idea. "I'm so glad that I didn't do that. I mean, she gets more attention than Jessica or me put together. My daughter would die. She'd be so mad at me, going into eighth grade, if I was walking around with three boobs all the time. She'd be really annoyed."
Columbia Pictures released a new clip from "Total Recall" today showing Farrell's character, Douglas Quaid, having trouble at a security checkpoint. Watch the clip below!

Stepping out for a media appearance, Kate Beckinsale dropped by ?The Tonight Show with Jay Leno? in Los Angeles last night (July 17).
The ?Serendipity? actress looked leggy in an asymmetrical black dress as she chatted with Jay and fellow guest Adam Corolla during her visit.
Having just returned from the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con (where she promoted ?Total Recall?), Kate shared, ?I love going there. Yes, I love it, because I can?t sing or play an instrument or anything so it?s the closest thing I get to being a tiny bit of a Spice Girl. People dress up in my costumes and yelling.?
?I love my fan base because they never hi-five me. They always get really shifty and sort of hide... they hide behind pillows and look really creeped out.?

It’s called “google.” I can give you a fish and you can eat for a day, or I can teach you to fish and you can eat for a lifetime. You’re ready, little bird. Time for you to fly. Preferably far away from me so I can keep looking at Kate Beckinsale’s rack without you interrupting every fifteen minutes.

Kate Beckinsale talked to Women’s Health about a variety of things including filming sex scenes with Colin Farrell while her husband/director watched, her three year unplanned sabbaticaland how someone grabbed her tits at a Katy Perry concert. Wait, what?
‘I got more bruises on Contraband than in all the Underworlds put together. It was like, ‘let?s not choreograph the fight, let?s just see what happens.” And all of a sudden Giovanni Ribisi [her Contraband co-star] comes flying into my house and beats the sh*t out of me.’
She said of co-star Mark Wahlberg: ‘He?s very manly. And if someone squeezes your boobs at a Katy Perry concert ? which is what happened to me in Toronto ? I did wish Mark was there because he would have sorted it out.’ Daily Mail
I’d like to know more about this boob squeezing thing. Namely, did they feel like firmmarshmallowsand did trumpets blare from the heavens once you laid hands on them as I imagine they would? Sorry, I guess that question was more meant for the guy that grabbed her breasts.

I generally find Kate Beckinsale to be rather bland in personality. I don?t hold it against her, really. I think she?s beautiful in a way I associate with Southern beauty pageants – Kate always looks ?done? and she?s always ?got her face on? and she?s always impeccably (over) dressed. She?s Charlotte in Sex and the City, you know? Anyway, I was going to ignore Kate?s cover interview for the March issue of Women?s Health UK, but I ended up skimming the piece and finding it charming, mostly because Kate gossips a lot about her various leading men. I?ll admit, I liked her more after this piece:
Working with her director husband Les Wiseman on the Total Recall remake with Colin Farrell: ?I think it was worse for Colin [Farrell]. It?s awkward if you have to fondle the director?s wife. Especially with Len saying, ?all right that?s it, you?re fired. Colin?s lovely. He?s such a good actor, really professional and a brilliant dad. There?s nothing bad you can say about Colin ? and he?s funny as well. I hate him!?
Taking a three year hiatus and then coming back with Underworld: Awakening and Contraband: ?I didn?t plan on a sabbatical, there just wasn?t anything I was dying to do and I have to really make the decision ? is it worth me being away from my kid [her daughter Lily].?
Training for Contraband: ?It?s not really in my nature to do all this ass-kicking. When I first started training for Underworld they were like: ?she can?t even f**king run!? And I couldn?t. Her favorite body part: ?I once said, ?my beaver?, and everyone was shocked. So I?m going to say my ears.?
No Botox: ?I haven?t even done Botox. Look, I can move my face.?

Do you believe her about the Botox? I think I do. I don?t know. I?m debating it. She been photographed a lot lately, and in some photos, she does look slightly tweaked, but maybe it?s just because she went away for a while and I forgot what she looked like? I don?t think she?s had her eyes done. And her face does MOVE. Okay, I?ll buy her claim that she?s un-tweaked.
Oh, and is this code? ?He?s not shy of skipping and stuff. He knows a lot of show tunes.? IS IT? If you said that about Tom Cruise, I would say that was code – BAD code. But since it?s about Hugh Jackman, can we just take it at face value?
