One time this guy at the mall told me I looked just like Kate Beckinsale. It’s true, I do. Well, technically, it might not have been a guy who said it per se. It might have actually just been me. If I was given the chance to interview either Kate Beckinsale or the weird looking dude in this photo, my initial choice would be the weird looking dude. Simply because I have way more coherent questions for him. With Kate, it’d just be me spewing stuff like, “Do you like Coke? I like Coke. Coke is great. That’s a cool can. What is that? Aluminum? Isn’t that a funny word? Aluminum? Aluminum. You got great tits. Shit. I didn’t meant to say that out loud.” That would go on for a few hours before her handlers pushed me away.
For the dude, the first thing I’d ask him is, “What’s it like to work with Kate Beckinsale when you’re walking around with a boner all day?” My second question would be, “Did Kate touch you? Kate Beckinsale was quoted at Elton John’s post-Oscar bash saying that she just wanted to go home to have a cup of tea and a bowl of Pot Noodles. Well, the flavor development people at the instant noodle company heard this, and have decided to come out with a flavor in her honor: “Steak & Beckinsale.”
The actress told journalists she was craving the snack at Sir Elton John?s Oscar after-party in LA on Sunday.
Now its makers are paying tribute to Kate, 35, with the Steak & Beckinsale flavour.
?We?re always on the look-out for ideas for new flavours, so when Ms Beckinsale announced her love for Pot Noodles, we just had to make one in her honour,? says Flavour Development Manager Grahame Walker.
?Steak & Beckinsale is just like Kate ? classically British and a tasty little number.?

For those Americans (like me) who had never heard of Pot Noodles, they’re like Cup Noodles but with a much better website - and much better flavor names. Their history according to their website:

I’m not convinced that tea and instant noodles is a perfect combination, but whatever floats Kate’s boat. This is a very cute way to get advertisement - the same way Ben & Jerry’s created an ice cream for Stephen Colbert. With flavors like “Bombay Bad Boy,” “Chicken Satay,” and “Tikka Masala,” the company was lacking a steak flavor, and “Steak & Beckinsale” fits right in.
If this story is true, and they go through with their flavor, look forward to the possibly Beckinsale camp suing for infringement of her name. Actually Kate seems like the kind of girl who would find this whole thing hilarious. And they’d probably be willing to give her a lifetime supply.

Kate Beckinsale has revealed that she does not want to learn how to drive because she likes being in the rear seats of cars.The Underworld star says that she will never try for a driving licence because she feels that that would take the fun out of car journeys.She recalled that how mother used to strap her into the back seat of the family car, and drive her for miles, as a teen.She revealed that her mother would do so whenever she was upset.Kate even said that she still found it comforting to let someone else do the steering.“I love to be driven… When I was a teenager and I was miserable or things were difficult, my mom and I would pile into the car and she would drive me.
