Mischa Barton went to the television BAFTAs. This is what she wore. The TV BAFTAs are like the British Emmy Awards, so they’re kinda formal ‘n shit. This situation leads to several questions:
Why the hell was she invited?
What the hell was she wearing?
No, seriously, the hell is with those shoes?
Why can’t she just get struck by lightning and go the hell away?
I can only guess the answers, my friends. I’m thinking she snuck into the awards after firing her stylist and replacing them with the blind, retarded grandson of Cousin It. Those shoes must have been made in a special needs art class by a kid with no arms. The lack of lightning is probably because of global warming, so that’s everyone’s fault. Recyle, people. It matters.

Mischa Barton is baring it all for Cosmo.Nearly a year after enduring criticism about her sudden weight gain-turned-weight loss, Barton stripped down for the May cover of U.K. Cosmopolitan magazine. Barton, best known for her role as Marissa on the hit teen drama “The O.C.,” faced jeers last year after photos of the once-waify actress surfaced, exposing some cellulite on her thighs. “Surely there are more important issues than if someone has cellulite?” she said. “And I don’t understand the point of people looking for bad things. Why bother? I know it’s human nature to want to pick on other people, but I find it a little shallow.”The starlet reportedly went from a sumptuous size 12 to a size 6 or 8 in less than a year. Barton said all it took was a healthy dose of post-breakup confidence, after splitting from boyfriend, Rooney guitarist Taylor Locke. “The only way to be happy and be a more enjoyable person to be around is to embrace what you’ve got. Everyone has issues about their body, but I feel confident now. I’m healthy and happy,” she said.Happy as she is, Barton insists that she, like all women, is not without her flaws. “I think people see celebs as having these perfect lives,” she said. “But that’s not true.”“Instead, what counts is that the people in your life ? your family and friends ? think you’re a nice person.”

For some reason, Mischa Barton, whose latest movie Walled In was a straight-to-DVD horror flick, is still getting press. She is now on the cover of the “Naked body confidence issue” of Cosmopolitan UK. Due to the nature of the issue, there are headlines next to her that say things like “Your body rocks!” “Cellulite is not a crime!” and “Married for eighteen months before I had sex with my husband!”
People who care about the mediocre actress have noticed recently that she’s been looking scary skinny. In the issue of Cosmo, she admits that when she broke up with her last boyfriend, she dropped from a size 12 to a size 6, (In US Sizes this is a size 10 to a 4) but now she feels healthy and happy - and it looks like she’s gained a little weight (in a good way).
Barton’s body has been media fodder for years now ? first when she was waifishly thin, then later when she was mocked for having cellulite (which she would claim was doctored into photos).
Barton tells Cosmo, “Surely there are more important issues than if someone has cellulite? And I don’t understand the point of people looking for bad things. Why bother? I know it’s human nature to want to pick on other people, but I find it a little shallow.”
She also claims she dropped a few sizes ? going from a 12 to a 6 or an 8 ? following her breakup last year from Rooney guitarist Taylor Locke.

Mischa was recently cast in the CW’s new show The Beautiful Life, which stars Mischa Barton as a supermodel, but producers asked her to gain weight because they were worried that her skinny frame would send the wrong message to their teenage audience. Strange concern for a show about a supermodel.
Mischa was for some time traipsing around Europe doing much of nothing, but her IMDB page lists several new projects coming up. Hopefully while putting on weight, she also managed to gain some talent.

Mischa Barton isn?t exactly someone I?d go to for relationship advice. I mean the girl dated Cisco Adler. And his balls. Which were so legendary, AC/DC wrote a song about them. Almost 30 years before photographic evidence of aforementioned big balls was produced. That?s how epic they are; they actually go back in time. I digress.
The point being, Mischa Barton doesn?t exactly have an enviable ? or even respectable ? dating history. Yet she seems to think she?s got relationships all figured out. At least in terms of what not to do. And what?s that? Get married. According to Mischa, that?s when it all goes to pot.
Mischa Barton isn?t a fan of marriage.
The actress, who recently split from The Kooks singer Luke Pritchard, reckons it puts too much pressure on couples.
?I just think people try harder until they?re married,? says Mischa.
?You see a lot of relationships fall apart because it?s the last step. There?s nothing left and a lot of dudes freak out and the women become bitchier. I see it to be bad for relationships.?
Mischa, 23, reckons she?ll only get hitched after she’s had babies.
?Whoever is going to be the father of my children, I?ll probably inevitably marry,? she tells OK! ?But that?s not on the cards anytime soon.?

I?m certainly glad to hear she?s not planning on getting married anytime soon, if that?s the way she feels about it. That?s one hell of a pessimistic attitude, and it also shows Mischa?s not very smart, because she didn?t factor in other relationship complexities.
You could easily argue that a lot of people do stop trying once they get married, but a lot of couples also stop trying once they?ve been together a long time: married or not. And just as importantly, a lot of couples keep putting in effort over the duration of sixty year marriages. But I guess Mischa wants to focus on the negative. Or maybe those are the only examples of marriages she?s seen, both of which are sad. Probably a good reason to wait a long, long time before walking down the aisle.

Mischa Barton has broken up with her boyfriend of 4 months, musician Luke Pritchard, lead singer of the Kooks. While Mischa says there is ‘no bitterness’ in the break up, she did feel the need to blog about it.
I’m sure you guys are all going to hear about it soon enough so I just wanted to tell you what is real first — I broke up with Luke when I got to London. Things just didn’t feel quite right. There was no cheating or anything terrible, the bad just started to outweigh the good and a long distance relationship
is never an easy thing to do.
I hope that the press will show some respect in the near future as we both find it very difficult to deal with a lot of attention or speculation from the media. I think Luke is a great guy, but the type better suited as a friend. We have a surprising amount of mutual friends in England and I don’t regret our time together, I just couldn’t keep it going.
There is no bitterness between us…that I know of (sorry, I had to joke!). If there ever is a case of two people staying friends I’m sure it will be the case with us — our personalities are very good for that.

If only Mischa had blogged about the relationship, we might have been more aware of it and thus more concerned about its demise. That, or actually done some kind of work that kept us vaguely interested in her beyond commenting on her atrocious fashion sense.
If you are confused by Mischa and her career, you aren’t alone. She said that her parents also have no idea what she does for a living:
She says, “My mom and dad are still a bit confused and cautious about what I do.
“My dad is a stockbroker who studied law and economics and his dad was a politician. But I know him and my mom are still very proud of me.”

I understand their confusion, most 23 year old women like fashion and partying, but they don’t get paid for it. Mischa does seem to have quite a few acting projects coming up, but clearly isn’t headed into the A-list anytime soon. She is also rumored to be considering a role in the new Melrose Place TV series. Between her and Ashley Simpson there’s no way it could fail.

Someone sounds desperate for some work. Hippie child Mischa Barton let it be known that she doesn’t have a problem with nudity, as long as it’s artistic and it’s not nudity for the sake of nudity but it adds something to the story blah blah blah…Digital Spy reports,
The 23-year-old former OC star told Bang Media: “It all comes down to whether I trust the director or not.”
Barton, who has previously appeared nude in The Oh In Ohio and Closing The Ring, earlier revealed that her parents remain “confused and cautious” about her career.
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Barton is being considered for a role in The CW’s Melrose Place remake.
Getting naked for a movie seems to be the solution for distracting people from the fact that you can’t act. See! Look! Booooobies! You don’t notice that I have the personality of a zip code in Ohio! I’m not sure who exactly would want to see her skinny, soggy behind, anyways. Perhaps cottage cheese fetishists? You people make me sick.

Mischa Barton has just one-upped herself on the road to super hottie! Mischa has a spread in Vanity Fair, and I have to say this is one of the best yet. She is very sexy, and I almost believe that she wants me to come over there and give her the best I got! This is another amazing magazine shoot that leaves me more and more impressed with Mischa. Now Mischa Barton just needs to do a nude shoot to knock it out of the park!

Mischa Barton has been making quite a few appearances lately. Mischa is featured on the cover of Marie Claire magazine in Spain, and while this isn’t as sexy as an FHM shoot, she still looks quite beautiful. I’ve never been a big fan of Mischa before, mostly because I never paid attention to her, but she is definitely starting to slowly change my mind. It’ll go faster if Mischa Barton did something more revealing!
