Having been enjoying a little time off following a whirlwind summer in which she tied the knot with NHL player Mike Fisher, Carrie Underwood was spotted tending to midday work duties in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (September 7).
Donning a black Blondie t-shirt with black sweats and striped sweater and flip-flops, the "Before He Cheats" singer looked casual cute as she was accompanied by a few mates while leaving a photo shoot session in the West Village.
Looking ahead, Carrie has her eyes set on a big November - as she'll once again be teaming up with BRad Paisley to host the CMA Awards from Nashville on November 10th.
Meanwhile, Miss Underwood also will appear on a new disc titled ?Coal Miner?s Daugher: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn,? which is due out November 9th.
Other artists on the album include The White Stripes, Miranda Lambert, Paramore, Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow and Faith Hill.

She has a killer career and a wonderfully romantic new marriage, and Carrie Underwood knows she has a lot to be thankful for.
And in a recent interview, the ?Before He Cheats? songstress shared that she hasn?t always been on top of her game- back in high school she struggled with panic attacks.
Carrie explained, "I'm a big personal space person. You know, if you go to the restroom, you use the stall that's not near anybody. Or if you're in the gym, you go to the treadmill where there's space in between you. And it seemed like in crowded situations like that, people would just completely violate your personal space.?
She added, "So, whenever I'd be in stores and there would be people touching me and kids running around, I couldn't take it and I'd have to leave," noting that Christmas shopping ?seemed to be my worst nightmare.?
The key to Carrie?s balance, according to WebMD is a five-step process:
1. Work out. "Cardio makes me feel good, it makes me happy. It really makes a noticeable difference."
2. Eat healthy. "I'm not a huge pill taker, because I feel like our bodies are designed to take what we need out of food. So I don't want to make my body deficient and make it depend on what I take. I'd rather eat and drink things that are good for me."
3. Keep washing. "I'd rather take preventive measures than get sick and try to battle things off. So I do wash my hands quite a bit."
4. Get some rest. "I enjoy naps but only on days off, because I can take, like, a three-hour one. I'll take a nap if it's just a total rainy day off and there's nothing you can do anyway."
5. Give back. "People think, 'I don't have time to volunteer,' but there are little things you can do to make the world better and raise awareness, whatever your passion is. Like if you go to facebook.com/Pedigree, you can become a fan, and they'll donate a bowl of food to a shelter dog. That's a free meal, and it took 30 seconds of your life."

She?s always up for a good time and this morning (July 30) Carrie Underwood hit the ?Today? show stage as part of the Summer Concert Series.
Showing off her glitzy diamond ring, the ?Before He Cheats? songstress was in fine form as she sang her hit-laden set list in front of the massive New York City crowd.
In a recent interview, Carrie explained that she?s still getting used to the whole marriage thing, especially calling her hubby Mike Fisher by his new title.
Ms. Underwood told press, ?It?s so weird saying, ?my husband.?? They were married earlier this month and spent a romantic honeymoon in Bora Bora and Napa Valely.

Making the most of their new marriage together, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher were spotted strolling around Tahiti yesterday afternoon (June 12).
The ?Before He Cheats? songstress and her hockey-playing hubby looked pretty low-key as they got some tropical fresh air and enjoyed each other?s company.

The ?All-American Girl? songstress and her new handsome hubby made the most of the beautiful Tahitian weather with plenty of sunbathing and swimming.
Carrie and Mike?s wedding had a price tag of over $500,000 as they rented out the entire Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia.
The happy couple met at one of Carrie?s concerts last year and got engaged this past December.

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have reportedly jetted off on honeymoon.
According to Radar Online, the newlyweds were photographed arriving at LAX airport yesterday before boarding another plane to their honeymoon destination.
The pair had just flown in from Georgia, where they tied the knot in front of 250 friends and family at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, on Saturday.
Among the celebrities reported to be in attendance at the nuptials were Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul.
Underwood previously revealed that Fisher was in charge of planning their honeymoon and that her only requirement was that the couple vacation somewhere “warm”.

Fresh off of exchanging nuptials, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher were all smiles as they headed off on their honeymoon on Sunday (July 11).
Having tied the knot during a Georgia ceremony the previous day, the country cutie and her hockey playing hubby trekked through the terminal at LAX ahead of the outbound flight.
As for the wedding, Carrie and Mike said their "I Do's" at the Ritz Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro in front of nearly 300 guests.
Talking about the honeymoon, Carrie said, "[Planning] that was Mike's project. It's a surprise. I have no clue where we are going, which is nice. I know it will be warm, that's about it."

She?s overjoyed to be getting married this weekend and Carrie Underwood isn?t sparing any expense on her fairytale wedding.
The ?Jesus, Take the Wheel? singer will be tying the knot with her hunky fianc Mike Fisher at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Georgia.
And to prevent any press leaks or unwanted spectators, Carrie and Mike have rented the entire hotel for the weekend. A press source revealed, ?She has blocked off all 251 rooms at the hotel.?
Miss Underwood will arrive at the venue later today and will attempt to go unnoticed. ?Carrie will be flying in by helicopter on Friday.?
As for Carrie?s nuptials, the price tag is expected to exceed $500,000, with every detail tended to and nothing but the best for the newlyweds and their guests.
