Kate Bosworth & Michael Polish: Whitney Art Party Pals
Treating themselves to an evening of culture, Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish were spotted at the 2012 Whitney Art Party in New York City last night (June 6).
The ?21? actress and her handsome beau hit up the swanky affair in Manhattan?s trendy SoHo neighborhood, with Kate donning a Theyskens? Theory little black dress that got her plenty of attention.
Earlier in the day, the adorable couple seemed happy as could be as they were seen canoodling while trying to hail a cab walking hand-in-hand down the busy Big Apple sidewalks.
Although the two looked to be a smitten pair, it doesn?t seem like that was the case earlier in the week (June 5) at an after party for this year?s CFDA Fashion awards.
According to press, Bosworth and Polish were seen getting into a 30-minute long argument in front of everyone at the party. The two were heard yelling at each other for quite some time, but reportedly made up by the end of the evening.

And it has been a busy week for Ms. Bosworth, who was spotted at a cocktail reception for the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday (June 4).
Kate wore a lovely Altuzarra ?Laal? dress to the affair, reminding everyone that she has impeccable taste in fashion.

You can always depend on Kate Bosworth to show up at the fashion events. Girl can barely get hired for a supporting part in an independent film, but she will pose her bones off at any and EVERY fashion event in America and Europe. These are some photos of The Bos at last night?s CFDAs. She wore Altuzarra, and she was Joseph Altuzarra?s date. As for the dress? hideous. It?s like some experimental crap from a design student. There?s a leg slit, a slice of exposed belly, a high collar AND some metallic biscuit trimmings that don?t coordinate with this terrible print. Just awful.
Here?s Mad Men?s Jessica Par in Jason Wu. Everyone is talking about Jessica these days – like, she?s the new January Jones. It will be interesting to see what roles she can get off of her success on Mad Men. It will be interesting to see what happens with her character, Megan Draper. It will be interesting to see if Jessica simply tries to become a ?fashion girl? and that?s all. As for the Wu – it?s not really flattering, is it? Jessica has a killer body, and this dress does nothing for it.
And here?s Lily Collins in Marchesa. How uncomfortable does she look? And how awful is this Marchesa? I swear to God, the Marchesa label has the power to turn the prettiest women into busted cocktail waitresses/escorts. That?s what Lily looks like – the hostess at a Japanese brothel/after-hours club. Plus, Lily should wear these light colors – her coloring demands rich, dark hues.

Speaking of the 29-year-old's exceptional fashions, her online business ?Jewelmint? has recently released a new video focused on Hollywood in 1920. The short flick shows off the gorgeous blonde actress in 1920?s clothing while sporting a dark bob hair style.
The extremely fun fashion site gives viewers an opportunity to get unique pieces of jewelry that fit with their style. Every piece of jewelry on the site is created by Miss Bosworth and Cher Coulter.

It was also announced earlier this week that her film ?While We Were Here? was picked up by an international distributor following a successful premiere at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival last month.

I barely know what to say about these two girls, Lea Michele and Kate Bosworth. I kind of wonder why I?ve never thought about comparing the two of them before. They?re very similar – in that they both approach the red carpet with a sense of hunger. Actual hunger, because, let?s face it, there are real concerns about when these two ever eat solid food. And metaphorical hunger, the hunger for fame, the hunger to be recognized, the hunger for acknowledgement that they are truly fashionable girls.
Lea Michele wore Diane Von Furstenberg – it?s kind of boring, but I genuinely like this on Lea. It flatters her figure, the color is great on her, and she styled it beautifully with the matching clutch (too matchy-matchy, but I think it?s fine) and the drop necklace. Great hair too.
As for Kate Bosworth in feathered Prada. You know what the worst part is? Sienna Miller did this look in a now-infamous Vogue spread in 2007 (infamous because it was the subject of The September Issue). Sienna was styled with an extremely high, tight bun, and the theme of the pictorial was ?feathers?. Why is The Bos so dated? Why is she the most boring feathered person there? Why did she choose that lip color? So? The Bos is my choice for the most try-hard person in this post. Lea Michele?s hungry, as always, but The Bos was a disaster.

Joining in on quite the big evening in the Big Apple, Kate Bosworth turned up for the 'Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations' 2012 Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday (May 7).
The "21" hottie sashayed through the Metropolitan Museum of Art venue while clad in a Prada frock with Fred Leighton bling adorning her wrist.
The annual fete finds actress Carey Mulligan acting as honorary co-chair valongside designer Miuccia Prada and US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, while Azealia Banks is lined up to perform.
As for the celebratory occasion, this year's rendition of the Met gala ushers in the 'Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations' exhibition exploring "the striking affinities between Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, two Italian designers from different eras."
The display is described as being "inspired by Miguel Covarrubias's "Impossible Interviews" for Vanity Fair in the 1930s while featuring "orchestrated conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of their most innovative work."

You see, in the photos of The Bos and Michael from Coachella, everyone was talking about what appeared to be wedding-band-type things. Both were wearing them on their ring fingers, which caused some of you to be all, ?Huh, I wonder why there isn?t a story about that?? I said at the time that even if Kate Bosworth shills herself as a ?private? person, she would still let us know if and when she got for-real engaged. Well? I stand by that. But I also think this story could be true. Star Magazine claims that The Bos and Polish had a secret Buddhist commitment ceremony, and they ?exchanged vows.?
Kate Bosworth has taken the plunge – sort of. The actress, 29, recently exchanged vows with her Big Sur director and beau of eight months, Michael Polish, during a secret Buddhist commitment ceremony in LA.
?A monk she?s studied with performed the ceremony,? an insider reveals. ?They?ll have a real wedding later.?
But Kate?s pals worry she?s making a mistake getting so serious so soon, says the insider. ?Many feel he?s too controlling and her friends have urged her to take it slow.?

Michael Polish is too controlling? I don?t know the guy at all, but I don?t get that vibe from him. He seems kind of famewhorey AND like he?s genuinely into Kate, though. Like, he?s not worried about being seen with her and he?s fine with posing on the red carpet with her. And then there are the ?candid? photo shoots on the streets of LA and at Coachella. He?s invested. She?s invested. So it wouldn?t surprise me to hear that they were engaged? at all.

In other news, the ?21? actress recently shared her appreciation for two new anti-bullying measures endorsed by President Barack Obama, tweeting, ?This is an important measure for our young ones, thanks @BarackObama.?
The President announced his support on Friday (April 20) for the Student Non-Discrimination Act and the Safe Schools Improvement Act, which both assist in the depletion of bullying in American schools.
