| Kate Bosworth in Fendi at the 'Homefront' premiere: lovely or too bedazzled' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here’s some photos of the big world premiere of Homefront, which was held in **drumroll** Planet Hollywood in Vegas. I don’t know the formal box-office projections for this movie about an undercover cop (Jason Statham) who comes to blows with a comically-evil meth dealer (James Franco), but I’m guessing the movie will hit about $20 million. That’s not great, but this movie isn’t exactly a blockbuster or high art. Don’t tell Franco that though.
Kate Bosworth led the red carpet even though her role in the movie is relatively minor. She wore a Fendi strapless dress that’s completely embellished with Swarowski crystals. I think she’s going for major glamour, but the effect is one of a tiny disco ball topped with lots of hair and red lipstick. She has a gorgeous face, by the way, but Kate always seems so fragile.
Of course Kate and Michael Polish had to gaze into each other’s eyes on the red carpet. We get it, you’re crazy about each other.
Winona Ryder wore black like she always does. Well sometimes she wears deep purple, but usually she goes with basic black. It’s her thing. This dress is Cushnie et Och, and it’s kind of plain. Winona is usually more dramatic even with her continual string of LBDs. Wouldn’t it be great if she wore pepto Pink sometime just to mess with all of us?
Speaking of pink, here’s Holly Madison in a cotton candy-colored confection of a slinky dress. Holly shimmered and shined. The dress could have been tailored a little better, but she still looks very pretty here.
Oh look who decided to grace us with his AAARTful presence — James Franco.
Here’s Jason Statham. Did you know this is pretty much his movie? Franco probably chews the curtains out from under the Statham.

| Kate Bosworth Cast to Star in Horror Film, "Somnia" | Added 11 years ago | Source: Celebrity Gossip |

Keeping up with her busy movie schedule, Kate Bosworth is scheduled to star in Mike Flanagan's horror flick, "Somnia," alongside "Deep Blue Sea's" Thomas Jane.
Sierra/Affinity announced the news today (November 7) at the American Film Market, and the film's producer, Trevor Macy stated that, "'Somnia' is a natural follow up to 'Oculus' for Mike. We are thrilled that Kate and Thomas have joined us for Somnia, and look forward to Sierra presenting both titles at the AFM."
Co-producer Sam Englebardt also said, ?Mike Flanagan blew us away with 'Oculus' and we?re thrilled to be working with him and Trevor on 'Somnia'. It?s a huge added bonus that Sierra came on to sell the film for us.?
According to the synopsis, "Somnia" is "A horror/thriller centered on an orphan whose dreams and nightmares manifest physically as he sleeps."

| Kate Bosworth in black Christopher Kane at the 'Big Sur' premiere: budget or cute' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Kate Bosworth met her husband Michael Polish when he directed her in Big Sur, a film adaptation of Jack Kerouac?s novel by the same name. That was 2011. It?s taken this long for the film to get any kind of release date. And here are the photos from the NYC premiere. I think this may be Kate and Michael?s first red carpet since their wedding in August? Maybe? Does marriage agree with her? She looks the same to me. She always has that haughty expression ? I don?t get it, but sure.
Kate wore this Christopher Kane Spring 2014 dress which I find both boring and fug. Like, for me it?s usually either/or. Either I think the dress is interestingly fug or so boring I don?t even want to discuss it. It just seems like such a boring choice for a self-appointed ?Fashion Girl? to wear a silky black slip-dress thing to her big premiere, but the details on it make it fug. That collar attachment is horrible. The hemline is off in several ways too ? it needed to be a few inches longer and it needed to not be hemmed in such a budget way.
By the way, Polish recently directed The Bos?s commercial for her Topshop Collection. Why does he make his wife look like hell?
Also: I?m including photos of Balthazar and Rosetta Getty at the same premiere and OMG!!!! Now I feel bad about thinking The Bos looked so severe ? Rosetta Getty can out-severe, out-bitchface any one of us. Rosetta had had Balthazar on total Dong Lockdown since the Sienna Miller stuff. She?s got Dong LoJack.

| Kate Bosworth's Wedding Dress Fitting: Go Behind The Scenes! | Added 11 years ago | Source: Celebrity Gossip |

It was one of the biggest days of her life, and Kate Bosworth wasn?t about to trust her wedding dress to just any designer.
The ?Big Sur? starlet invited Vogue Weddings to witness her Oscar de la Renta gown fitting, and it was all as amazing as expected.
Joined by head tailor Raffaele Ilardo, Kate and Oscar worked to achieve the perfect vibe, and when all was said and done they definitely accomplished the mission.
Bosworth noted, ?Oscar is the most legendary designer, in my opinion, ever. He has such a great mark on American elegance, and I?m such an admirer of his life and his work. There is no one else for me.?
?Because I love minimalism and I love a clean line so much, I knew that I didn?t want any embellishments in the dress. So I spoke to Oscar [and] he loved the idea about having the drama in the back. So I knew that was going to be perfect.?

| Kate Bosworth & Michael Polish marry in a ranch wedding in Montana | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

As we previewed on Friday, Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish got married this weekend. They had been engaged for about a year, and Kate had been talking about the wedding in every interview, so there was nothing really scandalous or anything about the wedding plans or the wedding. They got hitched on a ranch in Montana. Sure.
The long-awaited moment has arrived! Kate Bosworth and fiance Michael Polish officially exchanged vows and became husband and wife in an intimate ceremony in Philipsburg, Montana on Saturday, Aug. 31, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.
Bosworth, 30, and film director Polish, 42, said “I do” in front of about 50-75 of their closest family and friends at The Ranch at Rock Creek, sources tell Us. The ceremony took place on a mountain top, with the new bride arriving in a stage coach being pulled by two horses. The Win a Date With Tad Hamilton! actress wore a traditional strapless dress with a full train and had her hair up and pulled away from her face.
Guests of the newlweds were given Polaroid cameras, and were asked to post photos on a board in the main lodge that said, “Love is…”
The couple, who met on the set of 2011 film Big Sur, knew from the get-go that their relationship would be a lasting one, Bosworth told the September issue of InStyle UK.
“I never even dated my husband-to-be,” she told the magazine. “He said to me after just a few weeks, before we were even together, ‘I’m going to marry you.’ He just knew.”
Polish proposed to Bosworth in August 2012 during a trip to South Korea after the pair first made their public debut as an item at a Coldplay concert just one year earlier. Before meeting her now-husband, Bosworth dated Alexander Skarsgard and Orlando Bloom.
[From Us Weekly]
People Magazine confirmed the wedding too, and People?s site ran the story with a really awful photo of Kate and Michael and I thought for a moment that the pic was, like, Kate and Michael?s wedding portrait. I guess not, though. In that photo, she?s wearing a high-necked dress which looks like a costume. But Us Weekly says her gown was strapless! So? okay. The Bos told The Edit that her gown was going to be Oscar de la Renta, I think, and Page Six claimed a few weeks ago that Kate was giving/selling her wedding photos to Martha Stewart Weddings. Anyway, congrats to Michael and Kate.
Oh, I just saw that Martha Stewart Weddings has released some photos from the wedding – go here to see. Kate’s dress looks pretty and simple. Maybe a little too basic.

| Kate Bosworth on her 15 year old step-daughter: 'she is so much like I was at that age' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Good God, Kate Bosworth has two magazine editorials and both of them came out today. You might be thinking to yourself (as CB just asked me this too), ?What is The Bos even promoting?? The answer is her wedding. She?s promoting her wedding. I think it?s going down this weekend, probably around the same time Andrea Casiraghi and Tatiana Santo Domingo will marry in Monaco. Personally, I?m more interested in Andrea & Tatiana?s wedding, although I will admit to some curiosity over The Bos?s wedding dress.
Anyway, The Bos covers InStyle UK and this week?s issue of The Edit (net-a-porter?s online mag). I?m including photos from both editorials ? The Edit photos are the classy, elegant ones. The InStyle pics are the ones where her ass is hanging out. Some highlights from both interviews:
Michael Polish knew they would marry first thing: ‘I never even dated my husband-to-be. He said to me after just a few weeks, before we were even together, “I’m going to marry you.” He just knew.’
On Michael: ?There are so many things that just clicked for us,? Bosworth says, resting her chin on one delicate hand, flashing the 1920s square, emerald-cut diamond that Polish found at vintage jewelry specialist Fred Leighton. ?It’s like, what didn’t draw us together? It feels as if we have known each other our whole lives, even though he is 12 years older than me. But it feels like he’s been there every step of the way. And he is a great mentor to me, artistically.?
Wedding plans: ‘I can give you one detail: it’s not the norm and whisky will be involved.’
Becoming a stepmother to Michael?s 15-year-old daughter Jasper. ?She’s amazing,? says Bosworth, beaming. ?It’s such a special relationship for me. She is so much like I was at that age.?
Her relationship is an addictive habit: ‘When you’re in it, it becomes habitual and it’s difficult to get out of that. You get addicted to the habit. I’m so headstrong and loyal, and that combination will cause me to stay in a relationship far longer than I should.’
She just turned 30: ?There’s not been one female I’ve spoken to who has told me their 20s were easy. Everyone talks of how difficult your teens can be, but the rough and tumble of your 20s is a bit of a secret. In one sense it was a whole lot of fun but I felt confused and like I was going through growing pains a lot.?
Her career: ?I’ve hit the moment when you can reflect comfortably and feel grounded,? she says. ?Blue Crush was a unique experience. It was a lead female role, such a rare opportunity.?
The wedding dress: The dress, reportedly designed by ?master in American elegance? Oscar de la Renta, was a long-deliberated decision. ?There was no doubt about the designer, [but] there was a feeling of, ?Do I dance around the bridal thing and wear a dress I could wear for the red carpet?? But lately I’m all about coming out of my comfort zone and challenging myself, so I decided to embrace the moment. It has been a real discovery of that part of myself. I had never thought about it ? the dress, the ring, any of it.?
[From The Mail & The Edit]
If you love to roll your eyes and chuckle at how pretentious a C-list, out-of-work actress can be, I would suggest you go and read the full interview at The Edit. It?s comedy gold. I kind of forgot that Michael Polish is a father already and that Kate is going to be a step-mother? that should get interesting. Anyway, I?m sure we?ll have news about Kate and Michael?s wedding on Sunday or Monday. Blah.
