From the beginning of Scarlett Johansson?s relationship with Romain Dauriac, it just felt like there was something shady going on. It was weird, because Scarlett could presumably date whomever ? I?m sure she had no lack of potential suitors, and she was never billed (nor did she ever come across) as particularly ?desperate? or ?stupid in love.? Following her divorce from Ryan Reynolds, she dated randoms and Sean Penn, and at first I just thought Romain would be one of those randoms, lasting for a few months and then fading away. But then she started bragging about living in France with him and then she got knocked up and? I guess Romain is sticking around. But the whiff of ?Why are they together?? has stuck around. So this week?s Star Magazine story is very, very interesting?
Scarlett Johansson is the picture of happiness as she promotes Avengers: Age of Ultron, but multiple sources say that behind the scenes, Scarlett is becoming increasingly unhappy in her marriage to Romain Dauriac, whom she wed in October 2014, just one month after giving birth to their daughter. It?s not so much Romain as it is his home country!
?Scarlett?s dream of living in Paris and keeping her Hollywood career going has turned into a bit of a nightmare,? says a long-time pal. ?She?s had a very hard time adjusting to living in France full time. Romain is adamant on staying in Paris, but Scarlett is homesick and miserable. Plus she doesn?t feel as safe there as she does in the US. Now that she has a baby, safety is her first priority.?

I think most of Scarlett?s family lives in New York, and from what I understand, Scarlett still maintains a home in New York. She probably has a place in LA too, God knows. She gave birth in New York and stayed in the Hamptons for a few months after baby Rose was born. My point? When has she even really been in ?living? in France? Then again, when Scarlett wants to, she can really fly under the radar, so maybe she?s been in France this whole time. Or is this story just a convenient excuse for why ScarJo and Romain are already kind of over?

Always a fan of body art, Scarlett Johansson exposed one of her lesser-known tattoos while promoting ?Avengers: Age of Ultron? on ?The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon? last night (April 30).
The ?In Good Company? actress wore a gorgeous white dress with a keyhole cutout that displayed what appeared to be a bird that was inked on her right ribcage.
And in the latest promotional spot for her ?Saturday Night Live? hosting gig this weekend, Scarlett compared ink with SNL cast member Cecily Strong and musical guest Wiz Khalifa. Strong began, ?Hey who here has the most tattoos? I have three.? Johansson replied, ?I have six,? and Wiz chimed in, ?I have 411.?

I?ll give it to Scarlett Johansson: when she wants to turn it up and look effortlessly movie-star glam, she can do it really well. These are photos of ScarJo outside of the Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC yesterday. She was going into a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman. Scarlett?s white dress is Roland Mouret?s Abersley dress and it?s very, very pretty. I?m still not really sure about her hair ? in some photos and videos, it looks very ?Miley Cyrus? and in other photos, it just looks really bad. I also think it?s going to look worse when she tries to grow it out, but hey, live and learn. Here?s a clip of ScarJo with Letterman last night:
She apparently spent a lot of time complimenting and praising Letterman. They also talked about her baby a little bit, and I was reminded of how Scarlett and Blake Lively are both promoting projects at the same time and both gave birth within a few months of each other and both got a ring from Ryan Reynolds. Do you think Scarlett is even aware of Blake? Or is she like, ?Oh, that TV girl, whatever?? We know Scarlett is still digesting – and throwing shade at – the whole Ryan situation.
This video has been making the rounds for a week too. Cosmo UK got Mark Ruffalo to answer the questions Scarlett usually gets. Ruffalo was adorably game ? I just wish they had followed through with it for the whole interview. I wanted to know about Ruffalo?s diet!
I really enjoy their body language. They?re so comfortable with each other and I love that Scarlett assumed the ?boss? position with her arm behind Mark. And you know? they have some kind of love story or romance in Age of Ultron too. That will be interesting.

Here are some photos of Scarlett Johansson at last night?s London premiere of The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Am I crazy for liking this? ScarJo isn?t giving me budget Elsa Pataky vibes anymore, and I?m sort of enjoying her crazy hair and this Balmain Fall 2015 jumpsuit. It reads like a gown but it actually is a jumpsuit with very wide legs. The multi-colored fabric could have gone either way, but the black border at the top and the black at the waist brings everything together and makes this look sophisticated rather than dated. There?s only one styling mistake here: the Bvlgari earrings. They don?t work with this jumpsuit.
While doing the big press conference for Ultron yesterday, ScarJo fielded some questions about why there isn?t a stand-alone Black Widow movie. While I appreciate the fact that there?s an appetite for female superhero films, those questions should be directed towards Joss Whedon and Kevin Feige, right? NOT ScarJo? Here?s Scarlett trying to say that yes, she would love a Black Widow movie but still, she?s a Company Woman.
Whenever anyone goes on and on about how Scarlett is super-brilliant, I?m always like ?Really? Her?? Don?t get me wrong, she?s smarter than the average starlet and she?s managed to fashion an excellent career for herself. But you know she like you know says you know like a lot and I sometimes you know get the you know feeling that like people just want to like paint her as you know the bombshell with you know a brain.

Here is Scarlett Johansson making our jaws drop as she flashed her figure in a black dress at the premiere of Avengers: Age of Ultron held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
Scar-Jo is continuing to show off her post-baby body after giving birth to her first child in September last year.
The blonde beauty looked happy and healthy as she strutted her stuff in the strapless gown and revealing split.

More photos from the LA premiere of The Avengers: Age of Ultron. This doesn?t come out for another two and a half weeks, but the press tour started over the weekend and I?m sure we?re going to have Avengers stories and interviews every damn day from here on out. As for the ladies of the Marvel world, I actually thought Scarlett Johansson was the best-dressed at last night?s premiere. Her styling wasn?t so ?Elsa Pataky? and it was more like ScarJo. This black (mullet) dress is Stella McCartney. Easily one of the best Stella dresses I?ve seen in a while.
I?m still not feeling Chris Evans and his neurotic chunk-butt, but Bedhead loves him so I?ll try to say something nice: he looks good with a beard. I actually think he looks BETTER with a beard. And for my money, he had the best suit out of all the Avenger dudes.
It just occurred to me as I was looking at the Robert Downey Jr. photos that it seems like Pepper Potts is not in Age of Ultron? Gwyneth Paltrow is not listed for the cast. So Ultron has NO PEPPER. And thus, she did not go to the premiere. So just make due with RDJ and Susan Downey. I feel like they could have coordinated better?
Mark Ruffalo is still the best, right? Right. Mark brought his whole family to the premiere.
Jeremy Renner, the forgotten Avenger. He looks pretty good.
And here?s Jaimie Alexander in Mugler. Is it wrong that I actually like this? She?s also showing off her engagement ring from Peter Facinelli ? you can see a better photo of the HUGE ring here.

I still can?t with Scarlett Johansson?s Elsa Pataky styling. Why did you do this to your hair, ScarJo?! Oh well? it will grow out. As you can imagine, the press tour for The Avengers: Age of Ultron has begun in earnest. For the next month, it?s going to be endless premieres, press events, interviews and photo-ops with all involved. It was also just announced that Scarlett will be hosting Saturday Night Live on May 2 (Ultron comes out the previous day). It will be ScarJo?s fourth time hosting the show ? she keeps getting asked back because (to her credit) she?s really good on SNL. She?s funny and she?s good at impressions and accents.
Meanwhile, there are a bunch of new interviews with ScarJo, so here are some assorted quotes that I found interesting:
Her stunt work while pregnant: “I don’t think you’re allowed to ride a motorcycle when you’re so pregnant, but I did. I did all of the motorcycle riding. I embarrassingly rode some sort of mechanical-bull type of motorcycle, which goes nowhere and doesn’t look cool, at all. But, I had some very professional and amazing motor-cross morphing done that makes Black Widow look like a total badass.”
The experience of motherhood: ” I?m such a newbie at this. I always really hate it when actors or people in the spotlight make giant grandiose statements about parenthood because it’s so, so personal. And I don?t profess to know anything more about parenting than anybody else.?
How baby Rose has changed her life: “I have a greater responsibility now so that will definitely affect my schedule. Before (Rose), I just made the choices that were affecting me but now I’m responsible for somebody else. Eventually I will have to work less and it might even make me more discerning. We?ll see, but I think having any kind of huge life-changing event happen to you, such as having children, and it?s such a different life now in the best possible way, is very, very inspiring. I think it will hopefully enrich my work as well as my understanding of myself. That’s the hope anyway, you never know.”

I like ScarJo more for saying that she wouldn?t be making any ?grandiose statements? about motherhood. Because that?s what so many celebrity moms do, especially the judgy-mother-mafia of LA. Scarlett loves her baby and enjoys motherhood. Beyond that, do we really need to hear about Rose?s magical bowel movements or how motherhood aligns the cosmos? No, we do not.
As for Scarlett riding a motorcycle ? I was confused on that point? Is she saying that she rode a motorcyle for-real in some scenes and in other scenes, she just rode the fake-cycle?

Hot mama… The actress wowed in a Pink Zuhair Murad jumpsuit with colorful Sophia Webster heels and an aqua Roger Vivier clutch.
She is set to present an award to her Avengers: Age of Ultron co-star Robert Downey, Jr. The rest of the Avengers will also be taking the stage with Scarlett to present Iron Man with the MTV Generation Award. Stay tuned for pics!
