As her big album release/promotional efforts near, Britney Spears enjoyed downtime by going shopping with the boys in Calabasas, CA on Wednesday (March 23).
The "Hold It Against Me" singer walked alongside Sean Preston as a staffer toted Jayden James while the group browsed through the clothing offerings at the local mall's Gymboree store.
As for her new music on the way, "Femme Fatale" is set to be released for purchase next Tuesday , March 29th.
Of the effort, Spears recently told Rolling Stone, "I wanted it to sound different from everything else out right now. I also wanted to experiment with all the different types of music I love, which is why you hear a mixture of pop, hip-hop and dance throughout the album. I also really wanted to play with my voice and change up my sound here and there, which was really fun."
Britney also mentioned, "I only wanted songs that I immediately connected to. I also wanted to make sure that this album was completely different from Circus or anything else I had ever recorded. I love Circus, but I wanted something darker and edgier. I also wanted to make an album and didn't want to just record a bunch of songs and put them together. I think Femme Fatale is really connected from start to finish."

In case you care, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline don?t actively avoid each other. That?s nice, isn?t it? These are photos of Brit, Kevin and Brit?s boyfriend Jason Trawick at a Little League game over the weekend. Sean Preston was playing, and I?d be lying if I said seeing that little cutie in his Little League uniform didn?t give me a little pang in my womb-area. Usually I only get those pangs for kittens! Sigh?
Anyhoodle, it turns out that all three adults - Brit, Jason and K-Fed - all regularly attend Sean Preston?s games, but this was one of the few times where photographers got shots of Kevin and Britney together, talking or walking together. According to Us Weekly, at the previous weekend?s game, they ?kept their distance from one another and didn’t speak.? Oh, and K-Fed is one of the coaches! I kind of love that too!! K-Fed?s girlfriend Victoria was somewhere around the game too, but there are no photos of her. There are, however, photos of Britney’s ass looking really bangin’ all of a sudden. Last thing: I know people are going to make fun of K-FAT and all, but before you make fun of him, just think of the pure joy you get from looking at these photos. That?s worth something, isn?t it?

Making for the second straight weekend spent alongside her current and ex lovers, Britney Spears and Jason Trawick joined up with Kevin Federline at a Little League baseball game in Calabasas on Sunday morning (March 13).
The "Hold It Against Me" singer and her manager beau were in attendance to show support for Sean Preston, who is competing in the kiddie baseball contests as K-Fed acts as one of the team's coaches.
Upon game's end, Britney and Jason made their way onto the field to join up with Kevin in congratulating Sean on his well-played performance.
The weekend doings come as Miss Spears continues to ready for the March 29th release of her new album "Femme Fatale," with a track titled "Gasoline" being the latest to see a teaser snippet released on the web.

A massively-photoshopped Britney Spears graces the cover of OUT magazine’s first-ever “Ladies We Love” issue. Brace yourself for a positively riveting interview inside. The NY Daily News says:
[OUT magazine asks Britney], “What women (living or dead) could make you think twice about your sexuality?”
In her e-mail reply, Spears confirmed, “I only have eyes for men.”
When asked how she “would feel if one of your sons turned out to be gay,” the singer vowed to “love my boys no matter what.”
Spears also divulged that she thinks she was Audrey Hepburn in a past life, “because she was a trend setter.”
Never mind that she and Audrey Hepburn co-existed for nearly twelve years before she died. Maybe in her future life, she’ll come back as someone who can actually pass remedial fourth-grade math.

The sizzling shot is from a spread taken by Mario Testino in the new issue of U.S. fashion magazine V, in which the star also talks about her comeback with new album Femme Fatale, her seventh.
The 29-year-old star posted up the picture on her official Twitter page, saying: ‘I HEART Mario Testino and V Magazine. Mag comes out tomorrow.’
Britney Spears told V Magazine. “I have learned to always stay true to myself and never let what other people say about me change who I am. It’s a really important lesson that took me a long time to learn.”
On her new album: I think ‘Femme Fatale’ speaks for itself… I wanted to make a fierce dance record where each song makes you want to get up and move your body in a different way. That’s what I want from the music I listen to. This record is for the clubs, or something you play before you go out at night. It’s definitely my edgiest and most mature sound yet.
Why she’s more guarded about her personal life: I think it’s easier to let people in when you’re younger, but when I became a mother I wanted more privacy for myself and my children.
On her talents and interests that might surprise people: I love to cook, especially for my boys. I also make a mean Southern sweet tea from a recipe my mom passed on to me. It’s really good. I love it. I make it for my boys all the time.
What she’d do if she gave up show businesses: I’d be a full-time mom, which would be cool. I’d miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go..

Mario Testino must have been knee-deep in Easter eggs and Marshmallow Peeps when he shot these pictures of Britney Spears for V Magazine. It’s amazing what a little overexposure and a new wig can do for a gal, isn’t it? Relatively speaking, of course. It’s like when your date walks into the restaurant wearing her prosthetic leg instead of just carrying over her shoulder like a hobo’s knapsack.

Treating fans to a brand new teaser, will.i.am has posted a snippet from his collaborative effort with Britney Spears.
The Black Eyed Peas musician can be heard working with the "Hold It Against Me" singer in a ditty called "The Big Fat Bass".
Cluing fans in on the planned release, Will wrote last night, "Tomorrow I will say the title and I might show you all a short snippet...that's only If its o.k with britney"
Tot his, Miss Spears replied, "I could guess but that would be cheating wouldn't it? -Britney"
Meanwhile, will.i.am also wrote a blog post about the tune, telling, "The big fat bass ... this is a taste ... this is the intro ... the bass is an important element to club dance music ... this song celebrates bass ... thank you Britney for collaborating it was a pleasure working with you ... thank you for trusting my instincts ... you're a doll ... i look forward on working with you again ... its an honor because you rarely do collaboration."
