Britney Spears married Sam Asghari last Thursday in an intimate setting at her home in Los Angeles. It?s sort of funny to watch the video and see the photos of the horse-drawn carriage and everything because? everything happened on Britney?s property. There was no second location, really. Sam and Britney had a big tent and people danced and ate and then Britney and Sam went into the actual house.
As for the food always my favorite detail in any wedding coverage People Magazine devoted an entire story to the fact that Britney didn?t serve an actual sit-down meal! A source told the mag, ?There was no sit down dinner but a welcome cocktail hour around her courtyard. It was decorated with light Pink tartan umbrellas and the whole courtyard and fountain were adorned with peonies and roses. At the tent-reception, guests nibbled on ?comfort food favorites? which were being passed around (by waiters, I would imagine?). The cake was citrus blossom made by Contemporary Catering. All of the decorations and flowers were done in a theme of pale Pink (blush), cream, gold and white.
Her dress was Versace and Donatella came to the wedding too. The dress was pretty simple, and it wasn?t what I was expecting at all. I thought Britney would go big and frilly but no, she went for a very simple off-the-shoulder design and what looks like some kind of built-in boning/corset/structure within the bodice of the dress. This was Britney?s dream wedding and she got to plan it herself, just how she wanted. I can?t believe she didn?t serve a meal though!

Britney Spears?s Thursday wedding happened, y?all. And it was chaotic! First, the good news. Britney Spears and Sam Asghari were married in Los Angeles on Thursday evening. The bride wore a custom Versace gown and walked down the aisle to Elvis?s ?Can?t Help Falling In Love.? There were about 60 guests. Some notable celebrities in attendance: Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum, Kathy Hilton, Selena Gomez and Maria Menounos. Britney?s two sons were not in attendance but they released a statement wishing their mom well on her big day. There were nice stories about how Britney had been planning her special day for nine months, since Sam proposed.
?And then, during the wedding, Britney?s forgotten ex-husband tried to crash the wedding. No, not Kevin Federline. Jason Alexander. Britney and Jason eloped in Las Vegas in January 2004, then ?divorced? 55 hours later. I completely forgot about that guy, honestly. Well, he hasn?t forgotten about Brit-Brit.
Britney Spears wedding was just dramatically interrupted, as her first husband, Jason Alexander, showed up trying to crash the event resulting in a police response.
Jason went live on Instagram Thursday as he approached event security telling him Britney had invited him and that she was his first and only wife, and he was going to crash the event before some kind of physical struggle. Alexanders phone then freezes up.
Somehow, Alexander was able to make it inside Britneys home, where he continued to live stream. He was eventually restrained outside.
Were told the Ventura County Sheriffs Department responded for a trespassing call, and are still on the scene.

A little more than a month ago, Britney Spears announced that she was pregnant. She was so thrilled. One of the most heartbreaking aspects of Britney?s conservatorship was that she wanted another child but her father forced her to have an IUD. He wouldn?t let her remove it. It was widely believed that as soon as her conservatorship was removed, Britney got her IUD removed. That being said, it didn?t sound like Britney and Sam Asghari were trying to get pregnant, she made it sound like it was just something that happened naturally. I also think she announced it very early on, in her first trimester. Well, Britney and Sam have announced that they lost their miracle baby. They posted this message on Instagram:
It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy. This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however we were overly excited to share the good news.
Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.?

My heart breaks for them, especially Britney. As I said, it was clear that she really wanted another baby. She?s wanted that for years, and her dad wouldn?t let her remove the IUD. I hope they do try again and that they overcome this loss. I don?t blame her for announcing the pregnancy early either she was genuinely excited and she wanted to let her fans and supporters know.

One of the saddest parts about Britney Spears?s journey to freedom last year was her statement in open court, where she spoke in heart-wrenching detail about her desire to have another child, but her father wouldn?t allow her to have her IUD removed. Well, by the fall of 2021, Britney was freed and she quickly got engaged to Sam Asghari. Britney and Sam have been dating for years now and Sam was a big part of Britney?s freedom journey. It was widely assumed that Britney had finally gotten her IUD removed. And now it looks like she?s pregnant. She posted this on her Instagram (I?m condensing it):
I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back? I thought ?Geez ? what happened to my stomach ???? My husband said ?No you?re food pregnant silly!!!? So I got a pregnancy test ? and uhhhhh well ? I am having a baby ? 4 days later I got a little more food pregnant? It?s growing !!! If 2 are in there ? I might just loose it ? I obviously won?t be going out as much due to the paps getting their money shot of me like they unfortunately already have ? it?s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression ? I have to say it is absolutely horrible ? women didn?t talk about it back then ? some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her ? but now women talk about it everyday ? thank Jesus we don?t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret ? Britney has been enjoying her newfound freedom in a million different ways in recent months, including deleting and reinstating her IG multiple times, going on multiple vacations and talking directly to fans. It makes sense to me that she probably had her IUD removed last year and she was probably just letting the chips fall where they may, hoping that she would get pregnant naturally. And she did. I hope she has a very healthy pregnancy and she takes care of her mind and body. I hope Sam is a huge support for her and I hope she has other people she can trust around her. God bless.

Jamie Lynn Spears has been promoting her new memoir, which is called Things I Should Have Said. It was originally titled I Must Confess: Family, Fame, and Figuring it Out, but she changed it after backlash for using a line from her sister Britneys lyrics. Jamie Lynn has seemed unprepared to answer questions about Britneys forced conservatorship and comes across as defensive. In an interview with Good Morning America, Jamie Lynn claimed that she tried to help Britney, but that Britney didnt take the steps to end the conservatorship after she reached out. Britney has previously stated that Jamie Lynn did not try to help her and that she sees her sister as complicit. Following her sisters GMA interview, Britney released a long statement on Twitter putting Jamie Lynn on blast. She used a lot of emojis and it reads like a friend texting her thoughts. Heres some of what she wrote [via Huffington Post] and you can see the statement below. Unfortunately Britney is sick with a high fever, but is feeling a little better with some Aleve.
Britney Spears slammed Jamie Lynn Spears in a lengthy Twitter statement Thursday, accusing her younger sister of trying to sell a book at her expense.
The pop star said she watched Jamie Lynn?s ?Good Morning America? interview and was bothered by the comment that her behavior was out of control.
?[Jamie Lynn] was never around me much 15 years ago at that time,? Britney said. ?So why are they even talking about that unless she wants to sell a book at my expense??
Addressing an alleged rift between the sisters, Jamie Lynn told the talk show that she had ?only ever loved and supported? Britney, ?so I don?t know why we?re in this position right now.?
She was apparently referring to Britney?s unhappy reaction after Jamie Lynn performed a medley of remixed Britney songs at the 2017 Radio Disney Awards.
?I know it may sound like a silly thing to most people but I wrote a lot of my songs and my sister was the baby,? Britney said in her statement. ?She never had to work for anything. Everything was always given to her!!!!?

As for Jamie Lynn, shes always seemed like a little brat when it comes to her sister. From performing her sisters songs to bragging that she stays at the Ritz instead of her sisters condo in Florida, she just seems rude. I understand that her family is massively dysfunctional and that she was just a teen mom when her sister was put under a conservatorship. Shes 30 now and a grown woman. At the very least she should have more diplomatic answers to these questions about her sister. Jamie Lynn sounded like she was blaming Britney for the conservatorship. At least Britney is out of it now and can respond to her family, but shes lost so much over the years. I hope she sues the crap out of her father.

It was a long, tedious process, but now Britney Spears is finally free. In September, Jamie Spears was finally removed as conservator. On Friday (November 12), the conservatorship was finally lifted. It should be noted that in the past four or five months, everything has been done according to Britney and her lawyers timeline. There were legitimate concerns about what would happen if the conservatorship was lifted immediately, and Britney?s lawyer Mathew Rosengart wanted to put certain people and certain protections in place so that Britney would still be taken care of, but she will definitely not be in a conservatorship anymore. She has an administrator for her estate and finances, and her old conservator Jodi Montgomery will still be around to help Britney transition to a life without a conservator.
Britney Spears is free ? the singer will no longer be under the conservatorship that has ruled her life for the last 13 years, effective immediately. On Friday, Los Angeles County judge Brenda Penny approved Jamie Spears petition to end the conservatorship of his 39-year-old daughter Britney, after the singer made clear over the summer that she wanted out of the legal situation, in which shes been embroiled for more than a decade.
The court finds and determines that the conservatorship of the person and the estate is no longer required, Judge Penny said in court Friday afternoon. Therefore, effective today, the conservatorship of the person and estate of Britney Jean Spears? is hereby terminated.
While Britneys conservatorship of the estate and of the person have been terminated, temporary conservator John Zabel will have administrative powers in Britneys trust and estate. Meanwhile, her personal conservator Montgomery will be there for anything she needs, according to Montgomerys attorney Wright.
At the start of the hearing, Britneys attorney Mathew Rosengart stated, I dont want to bury the lede ? we believe the conservatorship as a practical matter should end today? The time has come today to end the conservatorship. Mr. Spears in prior counsel in a 180-degree reversal was insisting upon termination on that day. Our position was that termination was appropriate. But we wanted to put into place a safety net, both on the financial side and on the personal side, and true [to] our word papers were submitted to the court by Ms. Wright on behalf of Miss Montgomery in terms of termination care plan.
He added that papers were filed on the estate side as well and that an orderly transfer of power was in the works.
I just wanted to make the court aware that the safety net has been put in place both in regard to the financial side and the personal side, he said.
Both Jamies attorney Alex M. Weingarten and conservator of Britneys person Jodi Montgomerys attorney Lauriann Wright told the court they had nothing to add. Britneys mother Lynnes attorney Gladstone Jones stated that Lynne was supportive of the decision. She appeared on camera for part of the hearing, while Jamie also joined remotely via phone.

Yesterday, there was yet another major hearing in the Britney Spears legal saga. Britney?s lawyer Mathew Rosengart was in court for a closed-door hearing into Britney?s conservatorship. For a few months now, Rosengart has argued several things concurrently: that Jamie Spears should be removed as conservator, but that the removal process needs to go a certain way so mechanisms can be put in place to protect Britney and her assets. Rosengart has also argued correctly, I believe that Jamie Spears is trying to use the termination of the conservatorship as a way to avoid further inquiries and investigations into his decisions regarding Britney?s finances. Meanwhile, Jamie?s lawyers have been arguing for an immediate termination of the conservatorship. The judge ended up granting Rosengart?s petition to remove Jamie Spears as conservator, but the conservatorship is still in place in some form, with a court hearing coming up to examine what is next.
At a hearing on Wednesday, Judge Brenda Penny granted a petition by Ms. Spears?s lawyer, suspending Mr. Spears, 69, from his position as overseer of his daughter?s $60 million estate ? a move Ms. Spears was pleading for, her lawyer said.
?This man does not belong in her life, your honor, for another day,? Mathew S. Rosengart, who took over as the singer?s lawyer in July, argued in court. ?Please hear the plea of my client.? He said that it would be a ?disaster? for Mr. Spears to remain in her life.
Lawyers for Mr. Spears said that the conservatorship should be ended instead, calling his record as conservator ?impeccable.? But after hearing from both sides, the judge agreed that suspending Mr. Spears was in his daughter?s best interest. ?The current situation is not tenable,? Judge Penny said. She named a California accountant, John Zabel, as the temporary conservator of the singer?s finances, as Mr. Rosengart had requested.

Jamie?s lawyer Vivian Lee Thoreen argued to end the conservatorship right then and there and she was shut down by the judge. Rosengart argued that by asking for a swift termination of the conservatorship, ?Mr. Spears was seeking to avoid having to turn over records from the conservatorship, including 13 years of financial information.? The next hearing for the case is scheduled for November 12th, and that will be to check in on the orderly transition of the conservatorship. And clearly, Rosengart is asking for a full audit of Britney?s finances. I would be too there?s no way that she?s *only* worth $60 million. I?m really enjoying Rosengart?s legal arguments on Britney?s behalf. He seems like a very good lawyer.

Everything is coming up Free Britney! Last week, Jamie Spears filed papers to formally end his daughter?s conservatorship, and this week, Britney?s lawyer Mathew Rosengart has responded to Jamie, basically detailing the best way to structure the transition from Britney?s full conservatorship to something a lot looser. The main priority for Rosengart and Britney is to get Jamie the fk out of Britney?s estate entirely. Rosengart has indicated to the court and to the public that the financial side of the conservatorship has been a really bonkers grift for years, and that Jamie has always exerted too much control over Britney?s person and her money.
If Jamie Spears opened the door to end his daughters 13-year-long conservatorship, then Britney and her lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, have just barreled through that door, because theyve just filed documents setting the stage to end the conservatorship this Fall. Rosengart just filed legal docs in which he agrees with Jamie Spears on one point the conservatorship no longer serves a legitimate purpose and should end immediately. Furthermore, Rosengart agrees with Jamie that the conservatorship should be terminated without any further medical evaluation something Britney expressed to the judge back in June.
Rosengart says there have been changed circumstances that warrant the end of the conservatorship namely, the judge already allowed Britney to select her own lawyer the point being she has the capacity and capability to identify, engage, and instruct counsel of her own choice. In the docs, Rosengart quotes Jamies document, If Ms. Spears wants to terminate the conservatorship and believes that she can handle her own life, Mr. Spears believes that she should get that chance. In effect, Brit and her lawyer are saying, True That!
Britney is asking that a termination plan be formulated immediately so the conservatorship could wind down in its entirety. Now, the hearing a week from today is to get Jamie out of the conservatorship immediately, and Rosengart offered a litany of reasons why that must happen. He claims Jamie has raked in millions and he needs to be out immediately.
Rosengart says Jamie never had any business being a conservator he has no training in economics or finance and his own finances were in disarray. Britneys lawyer says the judge should appoint a conservator of her estate on a temporary basis to replace Jamie while a plan is put in place to end the conservatorship altogether.

I genuinely hope that Mathew Rosengart doesn?t turn out to be a villain, because I feel like he?s doing a bang-up job. Despite complaints from the Free Britney crowd, I also feel like Jodi Montgomery is doing a good job and Britney trusts her, which is one of the most important things. The biggest priority remains getting Jamie out and freeing Britney from having the legal status of a child. That will clear the path for her to marry Sam Asghari, and Rosengart also told the court that the prenup is being written up right now:
Rosengart links the urgency to removed the conservatorship to Britney?s recent engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Sam Asghari, and reveals that she does plan to get a prenuptial agreement to protect her assets.
To all the reasons why immediate suspension always has been required, we now can add another essential one: as has been publicly reported, Ms. Spears recently became engaged, state the court papers, obtained by E! News. With Ms. Spearss consent and pursuant to her instructions, Ms. Spears and the undersigned counsel are in the process of engaging a family law attorney to craft a prenuptial agreement.
The filing continues, The prenuptial agreement process will require communications with and cooperation from the Conservator of her Estate but, as referenced above and well-established in the record, given that Ms. Spears s relationship with that Conservator (her father) is broken, Mr. Spearss continued involvement would impede the ability to negotiate and consummate a contract that all can agree is in Ms. Spearss best interests.

Basically, this is all pretty precarious at the moment because legally right now, at this moment Britney still can?t technically make the decision to marry or sign a prenup or anything like that, because she?s still under the conservatorship. Rosengart?s first priority is getting Jamie out and ending this legal quagmire so that Britney can then sign a good prenup and be free to marry Sam. And lord, I hope it?s a good prenup.

Britney Spears just got engaged to Sam Asghari over the weekend. Britney celebrated by posting a video on her Instagram, which is how many celebrities mark the big occasions in their lives. Britney has been spending a lot of time on Instagram this summer it felt like she finally got all of her social media passwords back during her conservatorship fight, and she went a little bit wild, posting topless photos and any old thing she wanted. Well, that?s over. For now. She deleted her Instagram, and she insists that it?s her choice.
It?s her prerogative. Britney Spears is sending a ?powerful? message by deleting her Instagram amid her 13-year conservatorship, a source exclusively told Page Six on Tuesday.
?She?s happy and in a great place,? the source said, adding, ?and silence can be a powerful thing and a powerful message.?
The insider affirmed, ?This was her decision.?
The source also shared that the ?Overprotected? pop star, 39, is taking some time away from social media ?in light of the successful path that she?s been on and continues to be on [following] the news of [her engagement].?
Spears? attorney, Mathew Rosengart, confirmed separately to Page Six that it was his client?s choice to take a social media break.
Our insider also noted that major celebs take social media breaks ?all the time,? and this shouldn?t be viewed as something negative for Spears.

Considering many people were worried about her when she was posting non-stop this summer, I find the angst from the Britney-stan crowd a little bit weird. It?s either too much or too little for Britney?s stans! I?m glad she?s taking a break from Insta, although I do wonder if it was entirely her choice. I wonder if her lawyer recommended it for what will probably be a busy couple of months of court hearings and drama with Jamie Spears. I also think it?s a little bit funny that Britney couldn?t simply leave her Instagram up and just walk away for a few months without posting any new content. I mean? people do that all the time.
