Here are some photos of Beyonce at the Tidal X benefit show for the Robin Hood Foundation over the weekend. Without even looking it up, I assumed this gown was Givenchy and I was right! Beyonce loves Givenchy and Riccardo Tisci, even if ? don?t hurt me Beyhive ? I don?t think Givenchy is the best label for her at this point. Then again, I?ve never really thought that Beyonce is a style icon. She?s a musical icon, a pop icon, a feminist icon, an activist icon, but her style is? not great?
If you notice with this look, Beyonce wore some big matchy-matchy earrings to the event. She wore the same ensemble for her performance at the benefit show, and apparently Beyonce?s (right) earring got caught on something and her earring RIPPED OUT OF HER EAR! And as she was performing, she noticed she was bleeding.

The 2016 VMAs were all about Beyonce. People acted surprised about that fact. First of all, I thought it was established a while back that she would be performing, but people were ?surprised? that it was confirmed just hours before the show. Second of all, Beyonce left Jay-Z at home. Which makes me laugh, especially since she performed all of the ?he cheated? songs off of Lemonade. Beyonce did roll up to the VMAs with Blue Ivy and the Mothers of the Movement, which was incredible. Her red carpet outfit was Francesco Scognamiglio Couture. Boss. But the red carpet look was just a precursor for the performance.
So much was made of MTV giving Kanye West four minutes to say whatever he wanted. But MTV gave Beyonce 16 minutes in the middle of their show just so she could perform a half dozen songs from Lemonade. It was incredible. And of course Beyonce killed it. She murdered the VMAs. I?m going to give Beyonce some credit? post-Lemonade, she seems more accessible and vulnerable, and in turn, that?s made her more likeable. She was working that same kind of vibe at the Met Gala. She went solo, no Jay-Z, no Solange, no Tina. She came at a decent time (as opposed to being the last one to arrive and ?making an entrance?) and she happily posed solo on the carpet. It was nice. Beyonce?s latex Givenchy gown ended up being one of the most notable of the night. I?m struggling to figure out how this is on-theme of ?Manus x Machina,? except maybe latex is a man-made ?fabric?? Sure. Some people thought Beyonce?s dress looked like it had a rash, and some thought she was making some kind of statement about safe sex. Personally, I feel sorry for her because I bet she was hot as balls at the gala. Poor Bey. Also: the eye makeup was a bit too heavy for her face, but I love all the jewelry.
Idris Elba in a Tom Ford tuxedo is doing things to me. God, he looked amazing, and I?m so glad he served as co-chair this year. I hope Anna Wintour brings him back many, many times. Bonus Idris tongue.
And here?s Anna Wintour and her daughter Bee Schaffer. Can I just say? I think it?s really sweet that this has become an annual mother-daughter outing for Anna and Bee. I also enjoy the fact that Bee consistently wears pretty Alexander McQueen gowns, regardless of the theme. Anna wore Chanel, and she looked pretty good too.

The Beyonce is the most Beyonce to ever Beyonce in the history of Beyonce. The Beyonce is all about Beyonce. Beyonce! Beyonce began her Formation world tour last night in Miami, and these are some photos from the first show, courtesy of Beyonce?s website. These are Beyonce-approved photos of Beyonce hard at work being Beyonce. And the Beyhive has already gotten into Formation. Are you kidding? She could have started her tour two hours after the premiere of Lemonade and people would have known the words to every song already. Such is the power of the Beyonce! And guess who attended the kick-off show? None other than Beyonce?s husband, Jay-Z. He didn?t perform with her, but he was in the audience and she dedicated ?Halo? to him.
No lemons here! Beyonce took to the stage on Wednesday, April 27, to kick off her Formation world tour in Miami, and after performing a load of songs off her controversial new album, Lemonade, (including “Sorry” and her now infamous lyrics about “Becky with the good hair”) Beyonce did her best to calm reports of marital discord. After playing the same adorable family videos from the headline-hitting Lemonade mini-film, the 34-year-old singer then closed the show with the song “Halo,” and gave it a special dedication.
“I want to dedicate this song to my family, thank you guys for supporting me,” she said to Jay Z, who was watching his wife from the audience. Then, in case there was any doubt, she added. “I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband, I love you so much.”
Jay Z’s presence, and Beyonce’s dedication, went part way to cooling gossip. But while the rapper was in the audience, supporting his wife on the opening night of her huge new tour, he did not take the stage for any of their duets, like ?Crazy in Love? and ?Drunk in Love.?

Basically, the Formation Tour is not going to be like Beyonce?s last tour, the On the Run Tour in 2014, which was a joint ?our marriage is fine? tour for Bey and Jay (and various guest stars). The Formation Tour is ALL BEYONCE. And if Jay wants to sit in the audience, fine. I hope she charges him for the ticket. But yeah, Jay and Bey are fine. They?re not getting a divorce. They?re getting that $$$$$.

All week, media outlets have been running stories about how Beyonce is going to drop her album at any moment. When she dropped her last album suddenly several years ago, there really was no warning ? she hadn?t done any advanced media, and all of the gossip stories around the album were about how everything was in disarray and Beyonce couldn?t figure out what the sound should be. There?s none of that this time. This time, the Beyhive is prepared. They?ve been prepared for months. Every morning, the Hive walks up and checks Twitter to make sure that Bey didn?t drop it overnight. Plus, this time around, Beyonce IS doing advanced media. After several years of silence, Beyonce is finally speaking on behalf of Beyonce.
Bey covers the May issues of both Elle Magazine (US) and Elle UK. So far, Elle hasn?t released any quotes, but in their preview, they promise that ?In a rare in-depth interview, Beyonc talks exclusively to ELLE about freedom, feminism, how her new fashion line, Ivy Park, helps women love their bodies, and more.? Beyonce wants the Beyhive to believe that she?s just covering Elle to promote her fashion line. Are you buying that? No, I?m not even a stan and I think the Ivy Park line is a cover for some album promotion.
As for the covers? I LOVE the American cover. I love her curls, I love the cropped sweater, I love her expression. That one?s a keeper. The UK cover is? bugging me. I think it?s a combination of the head tilt and her overly groomed brows, but something is weird with her face on that one.
Beysus also said words for Ivy Park, in this first commercial. I could honestly watch like ten minutes of Beyonce on the treadmill. I also love the shot of her face as she comes up for air. Girl?s lipstick still looks PERFECT.

As everyone knew ahead of time, Coldplay did not perform the Super Bowl Half-time show alone. Beyonce and Bruno Mars joined the Coldplay guys, only I think most people were way more excited for Bey and Bruno than they ever were for Coldplay. Which is the point: why did the NFL ever choose Coldplay in the first place? Anyway, Beyonce dropped her first single in a year ahead of the Super Bowl and that?s what she performed ? ?Formation.? Bruno did his big hit of 2015, ?Uptown Funk,? with a great cameo by Mark Ronson. Coldplay didn?t even have time to do a proper medley of their greatest hits, which is kind of funny. They did a few lines of ?Yellow,? some short versions of ?Vida la Vida,? ?Paradise? and ?Fix You.?

She was the final act to take the stage before Jay Z returned for an encore of “Empire State of Mind.” Other performers included Nicki Minaj, T.I., Usher, Nick Jonas, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Fabolous, French Montana, Damian Marley, Indochine, Thomas Rhett, Alessia Cara, Benjamin Booker, Justine Skye and Flatbush Zombies, among many others.
