These are some photos of Beyonce and Blue Ivy?s return to NYC. The family Carter was in St. Bart?s for the Easter holiday (and then some). I?m also including some shots from their holiday too. By the way, did you hear that Beyonce wrote an open letter to First Lady Michelle Obama? I think it was an open letter – or did Beyonce just send this to FLOTUS and then put a copy of the letter on her website? Yes, Beyonce posted the hand-written note to Mrs. Obama on her site – you can see the note here. Beyonce is really sweet – she writes:
?Michelle is the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman. She is a caring mother, she’s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady!!!! No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope — she’s humble, loving, and sincere. She builds and nurtures her family, while also looking out for so many millions in so many ways. Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us — I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you, to look up to.”

I only have only one complaint. If you?re writing anything to the First Lady, take the time to spell out ?you?. Every time. It?s just more professional and respectful, which I think is due to anyone in Mrs. Obama?s position, regardless of Beyonce?s personal friendship with this particular First Lady.
In other Beyonce news, In Touch Weekly claims that Bey?s personal trainer is still living with her and that Bey is working out non-stop to lose the baby weight:
Beyonce loves playing mom to Blue Ivy, but she?s ready to rock and she?ll do anything to have her pre-baby body back! In fact, the singer is so serious about getting in shape for her three Memorial Day weekend concerts in New Jersey, she?s moved her trainer into the NYC apartment she shares with Jay-Z.
Beyonce?s fitness guru, Marco Borges, believes ?consistency is key,? explains a source, so the singer is religiously sticking to a combo of cardo and resistance training.
?When Beyonce?s not caring for Blue, she?s exercising,? another insider tells In Touch. ?She wants to look amazing for her performances and refuses to settle for anything less.?
But Beyonce has another secret workout weapon in her arsenal besides her live-in trainer: ?Jay-Z has been hitting the gym with her and staying healthy too,? says the source. ?They?re both looking great!?

They do look great. I think it?s interesting that it only seems like Beyonce?s body changed AFTER she gave birth and not before – like, no part of her body looked bigger while she was pregnant except for that pillow-y looking bump, but now that she?s postpartum, all of a sudden her body looks fuller. But we?ve had this fight a million times, so let?s not get into it again. I?m more interested in her trainer?s idea of ?consistency is key.? All of the personal trainers I?ve known have always encouraged mixing up your workouts and not doing the same thing over and over. Does Beyonce?s trainer have it wrong?

Back in the States after a relaxing St. Barts getaway, Beyonce Knowles was spotted making her way around New York City with baby Blue Ivy on Thursday afternoon (April 12).
The 30-year-old sported what looked to be a lightened, shorter hairdo as she covered up her little princess while returning to the family's downtown apartment after an office visit.
The sighting comes just after Miss Knowles shared a hand-written letter with her fans, which is comprised of a thank you message to First Lady Michelle Obama in recognition of her inspirational ability when it comes to African American women.
As for what she wrote, Beyonce started by penning, "Michelle, Is the ULTIMATE example of a truly strong African American woman. She is a caring mother, she?s a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady!!!!?
?No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope ? she?s humble, loving, and sincere. She builds and nurtures her family, while also looking out for so many millions in so many ways,? the new mom continued.
Beyonce closed the praiseful note by writing, ?Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that u do for us ? I am proud to have my daughter grow up in a world where she has people like you, to look up to."

Beyonce and Jay-Z hit up St. Barths on Monday to take a break from that god damn screaming kid. As it’s only been four months since she popped that little girl out, there’s no way Beyonce is slipping into a two-piece or even turning around to show her stomach for that matter.
In fact, all of these photos are either of Beyonce’s top half or back. Odd considering the photog must have been there the whole day and there’s no way he missed Beyonce walking out of the water and onto the beach unless she’s Flash Gordon. It’s as if they somehow convinced the agency to not post the photos. *Rubs fingers together*

Beyonce and Jay-Z have taken little Blue Ivy on her very first vacation! This child?s whole life is going to be a vacation, though. Still, I guess it?s notable because this is the first of many. Bey and Jay brought Blue down to St. Bart?s for the Easter holiday, and the family is still enjoying the sun, sand and the good life. These are some of the few photos we have access of – Bey and Jay were getting pap?d consistently throughout the trip, but we don?t have most of the photos – you can see some of them here. Beyonce in a one-piece swimsuit! She looks? bigger than she did pre-pregnancy, I guess. But I?m still unsure about what to say regarding Beyonce?s tatas. Those really don?t look like nursing boobs to me. Beyonce is really trying to make sure that we believe she had a pillow-less pregnancy though – and her Tumblr did change some minds. Maybe she?s just not breastfeeding??
You can see even more photos here at Us Weekly – Beyonce carrying barefoot Blue Ivy around! There are also nice photos of Beyonce and Jay walking hand-in-hand around St. Bart?s. This is their first vacation in a while too – both of them worked throughout Bey?s pregnancy, so I?m sure they?re really enjoying this.
PS? I love that they get champagne delivered to their blanket on the beach. And I love that Jay-Z?s street cred is not damaged in any way by drinking a cocktail out of a coconut with straw.

Continuing along with their much-deserved getaway, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z were spotted relaxing on the beach in St. Barts on Monday afternoon (April 9).
The "Run The World (Girls)" singer showed off her svelte post-baby body in a black swimsuit as she took a dip in the waters before joining her "99 Problems" rapper husband on a nearby blanket for drinks and some tanning.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Beyonce and Jay made their way to the French territory with baby Blue Ivy just after ringing in their fourth wedding anniversary back on Wednesday, April 4th.
The island excursion comes as Miss Knowles is readying for her return to the stage after giving birth earlier this year, as she's lined up to perform three shows at Revel Beach's Ovation Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey over the Memorial Day weekend.

Here are some new photos of Beyonce and baby Blue Ivy in New York City yesterday. According to Fame/Flynet, Bey took Blue furniture shopping at DCC. You can?t see anything of Blue here – no hair, no feet, nothing. Was it really cold enough in NYC yesterday for Bey and Blue to be bundled up like this? It was low to mid-70s most of the day in Virginia – let me look it up. The Weather Channel says it was high 50s and low 60s. Sure, that?s cold enough for a light coat for Bey and a blanket for Blue. But it still seems like Beyonce is dressed for a winter day. As for the ?fashion? of Beyonce?s layers. The menswear jacket is awful. The pants are HIDEOUS. The black scarf is nice. And I?m still enjoying how Bey is wearing flats and low heels nowadays. The Mail breaks down the disastrous look:
Beyonce stepped out in New York today and offered a timely reminder that fashion is not always our friend. The 30-year-old is one of the sexiest women in the world – she has incendiary body, an incredible smile, impossibly luxuriant hair and that most elusive quality, a sparkly personality.
So if she doesn’t look good in three of this season’s key trends, there is no hope for any of us. Purveyor of the staggering heel and the tiny bottom-skimming sequinned mini, it’s almost a travesty to see Beyonce swamped in boyfriend style printed chinos. Both this style and crazy prints are on point this season, and there can’t be many patterns wackier than this black and white cartoon characters in lingerie affair. They’re difficult trousers to wear, but with a pair of the aforementioned heels, might’ve worked.
The boyfriend blazer, too, would look fine, sharp even, over a pretty fitted dress. But the superstar has paired the masculine items with loafers, again, super-fashionable for women to wear this season, but still a mannish style. The whole look fails, but Beyonce is of course, slightly more concerned with looking after her four-month-old baby, Blue Ivy. And the loafers do offered a smart alternative to the flash heel, without resorting to the ubiquitous ballet pump.
Mother and daughter were out and about to check out yet more furniture stores. The Superstar couple are said to have splashed out on items – to outfit THREE nurseries in their various homes – including a solid gold rocking horse and a diamante-encrusted high chair among a list of extravagant goods for their baby. With an alleged 240,000 alone dropped on the special bedrooms for the baby.
A source told Star magazine: ‘Together they?ve bought a Swarovski-studded high chair by Carla Monchen for 10,000, and a Fantasy ?posh tots? coach carriage crib for 30,000. Jay-Z bought Beyonce a solid gold handmade Ginza Tanaka rocking horse for 400,000. They?ve even splashed out on a 20,000 magical windmill playhouse for the garden and a mini Bugatti car, too.’

Something really funky has been going on with Beyonce?s post-baby style. It?s like she doesn?t know who or what to ?homage? now. Some days she?s trying to find her way back to skin-tight and sexy, some days she?s ?homage-ing? Zoe Kravitz, and with this look, she just seems? I don?t know. It?s funky. And before you yell at me for judging a new mother?s clothes – please. Beyonce wants to be photographed with Blue. That?s what these little outings are for. Beyonce is color-coordinating everything, and some of these ?candid? photos are so posed. What I can?t understand is why Bey can?t decide on one ?look? for her new motherhood role.
As for the furniture shopping? I find it really weird. Beyonce and Jay-Z were said to have spared no expense outfitting the multiple nurseries and having everything prepared for when Blue came. But now Bey is out furniture shopping, and last week, paparazzi got photos of a little white crib (bassinet?) being delivered (photo below). Could it be that Beyonce still needs to buy even more stuff for Blue?

Brightening up the Big Apple streets, a cheerful Beyonc Knowles was spotted out and about in New York City on Thursday afternoon (March 29).
Sporting some of the hottest trends of the season, the "Single Ladies" songstress paired her hot Pink top and brightly-hued, multi-print maxi skirt with a wide-brimmed black hat, circular sunnies and silver hoop earrings.
Meanwhile, Beyonce's sister, Solange, recently offered up an interview in which she gushed about her niece, Blue Ivy, but made it clear that she's not one to butt in and offer advice.
Of letting her big sis find her own way as a mother, Solange told, "I think it's really important for every mother to find their own way."
She added, "I think it's actually the most annoying thing when you're a new mom and you're getting so much advice from other mothers. You really just have to feel it out for yourself."

Here are some new photos of Beyonce and Blue Ivy. You can?t even see baby Blue, though. Bey keeps Blue?s face well-hidden for public outings, I?ll give her that. Some sites are describing Beyonce?s ensemble as ?grey?. PLEASE. That?s a shade of blue-grey. Which is still a shade of blue. Which still goes with the whole ALL BLUE thing. Except for Beyonce?s shoes, obviously.
Meanwhile, all of Beyonce?s friends and associates are still being sent out on a weekly basis to discuss baby Blue to the media, and to describe how Beyonce is obviously a wonderful and natural mother. Bey very well may be a natural and wonderful mother – but I dislike being told about her mothering skills every other day. It reeks of a concentrated PR campaign: ?Mission: Beyonce?s Motherhood!? In a recent interview, one of Jay-Z?s employees talked about the baby and Beyonce:
Blue’s a chip off the old block! With the recent early burst of warm spring weather in NYC, Beyonce has been spotted out and about frequently with daughter Blue Ivy Carter, 2 months. But the instantly famous baby’s actual face hasn’t been seen since her mom, 30, and dad Jay-Z shared intimate family pics of their newborn with the world on Feb. 10.
So who does little Blue look like lately? According Grammy-winning singer Melanie Fiona — Jay-Z, 43, is her co-manager — it’s her papa!
“Beyonce says Blue changes every day and looks just like Jay now,” Toronto native Fiona, 28, recently told Us Weekly.
The R&B singer (her album The MF Life drops March 20) adds that fatherhood has her pal Jay (real name: Shawn Carter) completely blissed out.
“He’s in a good mood all the time!” she says.
And mama Beyonce, 30, is just as ecstatic. “She just is so happy. I’ve seen Bey like 3 times since she’s had the baby,” Fiona explains. “And she’s just glowing and she’s saying [motherhood] is the best, and she just loves it!”

Sure. Whatever. I?m too tired to really get into it. I give up. Beyonce is the best mother ever and she surely gave birth to Blue and her body bounced back instantly and if you think differently, you are just a crazy conspiracy theorist. I GIVE UP.
Oh, and everyone is saying that the fluffy blue-grey stuff is actually the “fur baby carrier”. I think it looks like faux fur, right? And I’m still not sure that the faux fur stuff isn’t part of the sweater…?

Looking cuddly cute while out in the Big Apple, Beyonce Knowles and her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, were spotted running errands in New York City on Tuesday (March 27).
The ?Single Ladies? songstress was ever the fashionable mommy in pointed toe yellow high heels, skinny jeans and over size sunglasses while toting her little bundle of joy in a cozy fur baby sling.
Though baby Blue Ivy?s feet weren?t visible on this NYC outing, it looks like they might be coming out much more with the rumored footwear her famous mom is looking to put on those teeny tiny toes.
According to a recent report, Miss Knowles has asked Christian Louboutin to make the duo a pair of matching red bottoms.
Of course, Blue Ivy already has a closet full of designer duds including Marc Jacob cat slippers (which go for about $700 a pair), but slipping on a pair of the famous French desginer?s heels could go for thousands!

In the above photo, you can see Beyonce (and her one giant earring) taking little Blue Ivy for a walk in NYC last week. I noted at the time that I loved that both Beyonce and Blue were wearing flats, and that Blue?s little gold flats were particularly adorable. What I didn?t know at the time was that those gold shoes were by Marc Jacobs, and they probably cost more than my annual health insurance. And according to In Touch, Beyonce has asked designers to create even more itsy-bitsy baby shoes for Blue. Blue is going to have Louboutins!
At just two months old, Blue Ivy Carter is already the most stylish baby in town! While hanging with mom Beyonce on March 13, the trendy tyke showed off some Marc Jacobs flats – and an insider tells In Touch that more designer shoes are coming her way!
The source says Beyonce asked designer Christian Louboutin to make some baby Loubies!

Here?s the thing: I don?t doubt this at all. Just like I didn?t doubt the stories about all of the jewelry that Blue is already accumulating. I really do believe that Beyonce and Jay-Z live like that, that they don?t even blink an eye at dropping thousands of dollars on a sapphire-encrusted bottle. And you know what? It?s their money. I think it?s tacky and wasteful to spend that kind of cash on something that a baby will outgrow in a few months, but it?s their choice, their call. Here?s what I really think has happened though: I think it?s mostly about loss of perspective. Like, Beyonce has spent so many years in the lap of luxury, she simply doesn?t know that she could buy some cute, reasonably-priced baby stuff at Baby Gap. It wouldn?t even occur to her, because she?s had Christian Louboutin on speed-dial for so many years.
