Getting back to her southern roots, Kelly Clarkson has converted her pop hit "Mr. Know It All" into a brand new version suitable for country radio.
Revealing that she worked with musician Dann Huff for the remake, the Texas native tweeted, "I hope y'all like it!! I had a lot of fun recutting the song and getting the opportunity to work with Dann!"
This bold step could be Clarkson's way of transitioning into the new genre - which quite possibly stems from encouragement by her new beau, who happens to be a southern boy!
Earlier this week, Kelly revealed that she's dating country singer Reba McIntyre's step-son, Brandon Blackstock, who is a talent manager.
Take a listen to the country version of "Mr. Know It All" below - with the tune set to be available for purchase on iTunes beginning April 3rd.

Making a ?Stronger? tour stop in Hollywood, Florida, Kelly Clarkson gave a concert at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino last night (February 16).
The ?My Life Would Suck Without You? songstress was in fine form as she took the stage and sang through her hit-laden set list, much to the delight of her fans.
And since Sunday?s Grammy Awards, Kelly?s latest album has been up 51% in sales, putting it at #13 on the Billboard 200 chart.
To date, Clarkson has moved 568,000 units of the release, and there aren?t any signs that it?s slowing down.

Her career is on fire and the latest highlight in Kelly Clarkson's life is being tapped to sing the National Anthem at the upcoming Super Bowl XLVI.
The ?Mr. Know It All? songstress has been announced as one of the pre-game performers who, along with Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, will sing ?America the Beautiful.?
And hopefully Miss Clarkson does a better job at memorizing the lyrics than Christina Aguilera did at last year?s game in Dallas.
Furthermore, Madonna has been named as the illustrious halftime performer, making February 5th a night for divas as well as football fans.

I was wondering what Margaret Cho was doing in such a stupid hat until I read the tags on the pics. Turns out that’s not Margaret Cho at all. It’s “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson. Who knew? Yeah, apparently she’s endorsing Republican candidate Ron Paul now. And also probably Hostess and Entenmann’s, respectively.

Fresh off of last month's release of her fifth studio album Stronger, Kelly Clarkson joined the star-studded lineup of performers at the 2011 American Music Awards in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night (November 20).
Hitting the stage at the Nokia Theatre LA Live venue, the "American Idol" alum offered up a fun-filled rendition of her hit single "Mr. Know It All" to the crowd's delight.
Also a nominee, Kelly is in the running for a trophy as she vies against Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera for Contemporary Inspirational Artist honors.
The AMA appearance comes shortly after Miss Clarkson announced plans to embark on an ambitious tour set kick off on January 13 with a show in Mashantucket, Connecticut while currently slated to run through an April 10 date at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

Kelly Clarkson tells USA Today that she’s never been in love and has yet to find that special someone to open up to. Although it’s a mystery why. You’d think her love of telling men off would have every guy banging at her door.
“I’ve never been in love,” Clarkson, 29, told USA Today. “I’ve never experienced certain things, and I think that’s because I have this side of me that is shut off. Because I haven’t found anybody yet to open to that I feel like, ‘Okay, you’re worth breaking down that wall for.’ I’ve never found that.”
She goes on to say, “Obviously it’s really hard to date when I’m on four different continents in a week. Even if I do meet a great guy, I ain’t ever gonna see him. There’s only so much you can do with Skype!”
Speaking about the song “Mr. Know It All,” off her upcoming album, “Stronger,” the singer said, “I can’t wait to perform it. It’s everything I am as a woman and a singer. I love telling men off!” NY Daily News

Gearing up for the chilly east coast weather, Kelly Clarkson was spotted out in Manhattan, New York City on Wednesday (October 26).
The ?Mr Know It All? singer looked darling in jeans and a dark green jacket as she happily posed for a few pictures with fans upon exiting Toloache Mexican restaurant after a midday meal.
On the coattails of the release of her fifth studio album ?Stronger,? Clarkson admits that she is eager to dabble in creating a hit Broadway musical.
She told USA Today, "I think at some point in my 30s, I don't know if I want to do a revival show or something, like bring back Funny Girl, or start a completely-from-scratch musical. That's something I really want to do. I love Broadway."

Enjoying some time in the Big Apple, Kelly Clarkson was spotted arriving at her hotel in New York City last night (October 11).
The ?I Do Not Hook Up? songstress smiled for the cameras as she strolled inside, sporting a makeup-free complexion and ponytail hairdo.
In a recent interview, Kelly discussed the inspiration behind her new album Stronger- a desire to control her career herself.
?I think that?s why we kind of went with the whole Stronger theme because it?s the first time everybody working around me and at the record company really agreed and worked together really well.?
?More people are comfortable and know me better and I know them better. It feels good. I feel the thing I?m most proud of is that I?ve always done what I wanted and that?s been really hard in the past. I?ve had to earn their trust and now I?m saying, ?I?ve written you a lot of number ones, OK, I?m not just a one-hit wonder here.?
?The whole album is very empowering. I guess personally I kind of feel more like that because now it?s my fifth record, I?m 10 years in, I know myself a little better, I feel a little stronger.?

Warming up her vocals for what is sure to be a memorable performance, Kelly Clarkson hit the stage for a pre-game rehearsal at the Rugby League Grand Final at ANZ Stadium in Sydney, Australia earlier today (October 1).
The "Since You've Been Gone" songstress opted for a one-tone wardrobe for the rev-up, wearing a black cap, hoodie and skinny jeans as she belted out a few notes in preparation for the big show.
Kelly is on location Down Under as she readies for the release of her forthcoming album "Stronger," due for its Australian debut on October 21st, while its stateside drop date is set for October 24th.
Showing her love for her record label, an elated Miss Clarkson took to her WhoSay page, writing, "I freaking love my label in Australia! I mean I love all of the people that work with me at all of the Sony labels around the world but Australia really stands out! Thank you Sony Australia for being so supportive and taking the time to know me and bringing a baby kangaroo, and other Australian critters as a surprise for me at the label party because you know I love animals and it would make me happy! Thank you thank you thank you! Such a hard working group and I LOVE Australia!!?

Joining the many stars taking the stage in Las Vegas, Kelly Clarkson performed during day one of the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday night (September 23).
The "American Idol" alum confidently belted out an array of her hit songs at the MGM Grand Garden Arena venue including her brand new single "Mr Know It All".
Miss Clarkson joined a full slate of talent partaking in the first running of the iHeartRadio Music Festival - as Carrie Underwood, Jay-Z, Coldplay and the Black Eyed Peas were among other acts on-hand for the music extravaganza's opening night.
The two day Sin City showcase will close out on Saturday with top names such as Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Kenny Chesney and Jennifer Lopez.
