Kelly Clarkson got married in a quickie ceremony at a remote ranch in Tennessee about six weeks ago. She announced last month that she’s pregnant, so it’s likely that it was a shotgun wedding. I don’t begrudge her that and am not a traditionalist by any means, I’m just giving some background.
Anyway Kelly has been telling everyone how happy she is, and recently gave some TMI about her sex life as a newlywed, saying they were trying for a baby “like rabbits.” She’s also called Brandon’s kids from his first marriage “her kids” in several interviews. It’s been too much, but there’s a lot of goodwill for Kelly and she seems like she’s genuinely happy and just wants to share that with the world. Hopefully that stays true for her. A new story, published in The Dirty from an anonymous source, claims that Brandon is cheating on Kelly, sort-of.
Nik, I wanted to submit this story to you because I didn?t know where else to turn. I like the idea of keeping myself anonymous, whereas any other media outlet would have jumped at publishing my name. I have a career and children to keep safe, so your site was my best option. Short and simple: Brandon has been cheating on Kelly (with me) for the past 5 months. We met at a golf club in TN and have exchanged multiple texts and hung out a few times over the last little while. Because his parents are music royalty, Brandon really thinks he is invincible and better than everyone else. I don?t even know why I?m saying any of this since my story isn?t that juicy. We haven?t slept together but we?ve been intimate in other ways. I really hope his wife keeps her eye on him because he?s not the great man that she thinks he is.

So this woman never says if she specifically had anything physical with Brandon, she’s just suggesting that more happened, and that they had a kind of “emotional affair” – if this is even true. This was an anonymous email sent to a website that probably didn’t do much fact checking. We wouldn’t either, I’m just saying that the whole thing could be made up.
Radar Online got some quotes from Brandon’s first wife, Melissa Ashworth, who says that the claims that he’s a cheater are BS. Apparently a friend of Brandon’s went on the record to claim that he cheated on his ex wife multiple times during their marriage. In her statement to Radar, Ashworth mentioned that her children from Brandon were currently with her, so that answers the question for me as to whether the mother is still in their lives. Maybe Kelly was just being loving when she referred to the kids as “hers” or maybe she was being proprietary. Either way, Brandon’s ex is staying classy. Here’s what she said:
A few months ago, the couple was faced with similar claims when Blackstock?s family friend, Jerry Reed, accused him of ?running around on? Ashworth ?three or four times? during their marriage. The two finalized their divorce in early 2012, months after Blackstock began dating Clarkson.
But Ashworth insists that her ex-husband has never been anything but a model partner and father, and will be the same to Clarkson and their child.
?This is ridiculous ? this silliness,? Ashworth tells Radar exclusively. ?I have my two children [by Brandon] right here, who I love.?
She continues, ?I adore Kelly and Brandon as a couple, so if I say anything it?s going to be positive.?
Blackstock and Clarkson have yet to comment on the rumors.
Clarkson, meanwhile, postponed the overseas promotional tour for her new Christmas album, ?Wrapped In Red,? claiming to be ?incredibly ill? from her pregnancy.

Ashworth doesn’t want to trash the father of her kids to the press and is too smart to burn that bridge. Notice that she didn’t directly answer the question, she deflected and brought up her kids. I would believe that Brandon cheated on his first wife, but whether or not he’s up to something behind Kelly’s back remains to be seen. I hope for Kelly’s sake that this story isn’t true at all. She just got married and she’s expecting her first baby. This would be so low of Brandon if it’s true.

?Underneath the Tree? is featured on Kelly?s Wrapped in Red album and the video?s footage is taken from her ?Kelly Clarkson?s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale,? slated to air on NBC tomorrow night (December 4).
Meanwhile, an inside source snitched that Clarkson plans on indulging in all the seasonal treats as she prepares for her baby- ?She is going to eat anything she wants over the holidays. She is 100% focused on enjoying her pregnancy and having fun.?

Awards show season is alive and well, and the 41st Annual American Music Awards just unveiled their list of nominees.
?American Idol? legend Kelly Clarkson and Black Eyed Peas mastermind will.i.am had the honor of announcing the names of the hopefuls in each category, and competition is going to be fierce.

As Kaiser so aptly put it recently, Kelly Clarkson has been somewhat “extra” since eloping with her new husband, Brandon Blackstock, and announcing her pregnancy. It’s not a surprise that she’s knocked up, since she declared loudly and often that she and Brandon were trying. What’s surprising to me is the level at which Kelly is revealing her personal life in an effort to promote her holiday album, Red. We’re talking about her all the time lately so in that respect this is probably a good strategy. I just hope she knows when to reign in it.
In a new cover interview with Parade, Kelly shows a sense of humor as she gets candid. She says that she felt “pathetic” during her single phase before meeting her current husband, that she is aware that people call her “fat” (she’s not and I don’t think she was before at all) and that she’s not going to be like Gisele Bundchen and snap right back after her pregnancy. I get it, and she gives a highly quotable interview here.
On her wedding, where she opted to go barefoot beneath her lace Temperley Bridal gown:
?I bawled like a baby. We both wrote our own vows, and it was hard to get through them, but I did it. ? Brandon was like, ?The Notebook ain?t got nothin? on me?come on!? And he took me out [on the lake] in a rowboat. It was very sweet. The whole thing was perfect.?
On her life prior to dating Blackstock in 2012:
?I was single for almost seven years. Every Christmas, it was like, ?Seriously, I?m still pathetically alone? Awesome. I?m still telling people I?m okay with it? I?m not.??
On forgetting the Mr. Know-It-All who came before she found Mr. Right:
?I only had like three boyfriends my whole life before Brandon, and two of them were good, just not a good fit. I only had one real stinker that I wrote [music about] and made a lot of money off of.?
On Blackstock?s initial worries about dating her, since his father, Narvel, is Clarkson?s manager:
?He was like, ?My dad?s gonna kill me if this doesn?t go well.? I said, ?So? We?re both adults. And it?s gonna go awesome!? In my head, I was like, ?I?m already married to you!?
On how she knew she would be successful on American Idol in 2002:
?I came home after the very first Idol audition and was like, ?I?m totally gonna win this.? Not in a cocky way; it was like something bigger than me was at work.?
On her certainty that she?ll soon be a mom:
?My eggs aren?t getting any younger, so we?ve already started trying. I?m totally gonna have a girl. I?m manifesting it! And when I have a girl, you?re gonna be like, ?That chick knew it!??
On why she?s looking forward to getting pregnant:
?Everybody calls me fat all the time, so I can?t wait to have a reason, instead of everybody just being a jerk!?
On how she figures she?ll be immune to pressure to rapidly drop the baby weight:
?I?ve never been Gisele Bndchen, so ain?t nobody expectin? that! I like to set a [low] standard so people don?t expect a lot.?

You know who Kelly reminds me a little of? Jessica Simpson. Jessica has that “gee shucks, my life is an open book” shtick, but in Kelly’s case it seems borne out of genuine enthusiasm and happiness more than a tabloid persona. She’s funny, she’s open and she wants to share that with everyone. I also like how upbeat she sounds.
Parade has more online with outtakes from their interview with Kelly. She tells a story about giving Brandon a trip to Alaska to go grizzly bear hunting with her, even though she calls herself “an animal activist.” I hope she’s not too serious about it and isn’t compromising her values at all.
In another new interview with US Magazine, Kelly revealed how Adele told her not to have a baby right away. The two ran into each other at the Grammys, so apparently Adele gave Kelly this advice before she got pregnant. “She said, ‘Girl, don’t have a baby ’cause everything else will go on the back burner. I’m so happy living in babyland.” Kelly just announced her pregnancy, she can’t know that yet! It’s true that everything changes with a baby and child. I have a feeling we’ll hear all about it once Kelly has her baby.

This is pretty much the least shocking news ever. Kelly Clarkson and her husband of two months (exactly) Brandon Blackstock are expecting their first baby together. Blackstock has two children from a previous relationship (a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old), children which Kelly refers to as ?her? kids or ?our? kids. Kelly tweeted the news yesterday evening, writing: ?I’m pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever”
Kelly has been very ?open? about everything involving Brandon, their marriage and all of it. Quite honestly, Kelly has been a little bit ?extra? for the past few months, but I think she?s just giddy with love and she?s just one of those celebrities who wants to share everything with her fans. She posted several wedding photos, she released a wedding video and she?s given several interviews about how she was just dying to get knocked up. Perhaps she?ll post a conception video to her Twitter too? Make it a Vine video, Kelly!
Anyway, congrats to Kelly and Brandon. She?s been wanting a baby for a while and it?s nice that she got knocked up right away instead of drawing the speculation out for months or even years. This girl was hungry for behbehs. Also, since she and Brandon only got married two months ago, do you think she?s announcing it now because she?s three months along? And do you think this pregnancy was the reason for her ?sudden? (shotgun) wedding, where she didn?t even invite her family?

There’s been speculation that Kelly Clarkson is pregnant, since she married in a very private, seemingly quickie ceremony in Tennessee last month. In a recent appearance on The Jay Leno Show, Kelly wouldn’t say whether or not that’s the case, simply saying “We are not announcing anything right now.” That sounds suspicious, but she could be looking for buzz for her Christmas album, Wrapped in Red. Kelly also talkedabout how she wants babies, and how she’s trying to get pregnant with her new husband, Brandon Blackstock. Kelly smacked her hands together, said “practice makes perfect” and later said they’re trying “like rabbits.” Leno interjected that he could help out “I’m working now, but I could….” He’s such a creeper. He then asked “are you pregnant right now?”
Kelly Clarkson isn’t afraid to let the world know: She wants a baby, and she wants one now.
The 31-year-old singer made an appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” last night (Nov. 11) and revealed that she and her husband Brandon Blackstock are trying really hard to get pregnant.
“We are not announcing anything right now! We’re not, no,” Clarkson said when Leno asked her if she was already expecting. “Practice makes perfect!” she added, “We’re trying, trying, trying ? like rabbits!”

But although Clarkson’s baby-making process is going well, the “Tie It Up” songstress admits she can’t wait to have kids of her own.
“I want a little baby with little feet and I just want to bite them,” she gushed, explaining that Blackstock’s two kids from a previous relationship made her want a big brood. “They’re so great,” Clarkson said. “I never wanted kids before, but now I want, like, five.”

I’m happy for Kelly, but I liked her more when she was single. She needs to reign it in a little. When she was doing the interview circuit ahead of her wedding, she kept referring to Brandon’s kids from his first marriage as her own kids. She did this a couple of times and in this interview she said “we have two kids” so it wasn’t a slip or anything. Maybe their mom isn’t in the picture, it’s hard to tell. Now she wants babies and is going on about it. She’s happy and excited and that’s awesome. I just could have done without the hand smacking and the rabbit comparisons. They’re newlyweds, it goes with the territory. That said, I hope it happens for Kelly soon. She seems like she would be a great mom.

Singer Kelly Clarkson got married for the first time over the weekend, to a handsome divorcee named Brandon Blackstock. Kelly shared some beautiful photos of her wedding, which was a very small, intimate affair in Tennessee that she called an elopement. The couple married in Tennessee under a covered bridge, with just a few people in attendance including Blackstock’s children from his previous marriage. (Kelly has called Brandon’s 12 year-old daughter and 6 year-old son her kids, essentially, but that’s another story. I do wonder if their mother is still in their lives, as that would make a difference.)
Well now we now just how small Kelly’s wedding was, because she’s posted a brief wedding video. Everything looks so romantic and intimate, and you can tell tat she wasn’t kidding about eloping. There was hardly anyone there, which makes it all the more special that she’s sharing her wedding video with us. Kelly explained before the wedding that her work schedule and the level of stress involved made it hard to schedule a big wedding. Kelly and Brandon are planning on having a party later so friends and family can share in their happy moment.
People Magazine has the detail that the wedding was held at a place called Blackberry Farm. I checked out their website and they have entire houses with several bedrooms that guests can rent for complete privacy. It all looks so romantic, especially the fall country setting.
I hope this is the start of a lifetime of happiness for Kelly and Brandon. She seems to have waited until she found the right one, and now she’s got a whole little family.
I wonder if Kelly is changing her name professionally to “Blackstock.” The video refers to “Brandon and Kelly Blackstock,” but I’m assuming she’ll still go by “Clarkson” as she has a whole brand built up around it.

Kelly Clarkson married her dude on Sunday! A lot of media outlets were predicting last Friday that Kelly and Brandon Blackstock would finally get hitched this weekend, so I?m glad they went through with it. Even better than just announcing their marriage, Kelly tweeted three beautiful photos from her Tennessee wedding, complete with some great angles on her lovely Temperley wedding gown. I approve! Seriously. I love when brides are like ?here are some free photos of my wedding dress, go ahead and talk about how great I looked.? And Kelly did look really good, right? I love Temperley wedding gowns. There?s feminine, sweet, romantic and yet they are very rarely cloying or cutesy. Alice Temperley is really good at finding that balance. She’s married, y’all! Kelly Clarkson has finally tied the knot with her fiance Brandon Blackstock. The “Catch My Breath” singer said “I do” in Tennessee on Sunday, Oct. 20.
“I’m officially Mrs. Blackstock,” Clarkson, 31, tweeted Monday, Oct. 21 with three gorgeous photos from the wedding. “We got married yesterday at Blackberry Farms in TN, the most beautiful place ever!”
The blushing bride wore a Temperly London wedding gown for her special day. She shared one sweet photo of her groom giving her a kiss on the cheek while standing on a bridge. In another shot, the newlyweds share a passionate kiss while posing in a stunning field. “Thnx Temperley 4 my beautiful dress!” Clarkson also captioned a third photo of her gown. “And thank you to my friend @JimVerraros & Maria Elena 4 the beautiful headpiece!”
Clarkson is currently getting her pilot’s license; she actually flew the couple in for the ceremony and talent manager Blackstock, 36, was going to fly them back out, a source told Us Weekly.
“We have to fit our romantic life into our schedule,” Clarkson exclusively told Us about the upcoming nuptials at the Green Mountain Coffee “Great Coffee, Good Vibes, Choose fair Trade” campaign concert in NYC on Oct. 10. “It’ll be both a wedding and an elopement. I like it! We are just doing a small, little wedding — me and Brandon and the kids. That is it. All we have time for! But we’re happy with that.” She continued: “We just wanted to make it about us.”
Clarkson is set to film a Christmas special at the end of the month, and wanted to wed before then. “We are trying to squeeze in the wedding before that. Like I said, just running off and doing it,” she explained to Us.
The newlyweds first revealed they were engaged in December 2012. “I’m engaged!” the Season 1 American Idol winner wrote via Twitter. “I wanted y’all to know! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever.” Alongside the comment, the rocker also showed off her stunning yellow canary Johnathon Arndt diamond ring.
Clarkson’s small ceremony is no surprise, as the “Stronger” singer revealed in August that the couple were thinking of eloping in lieu of an extravagant wedding. At the time, the decision to marry quick led to some speculation that she was pregnant. “FYI…Brandon & I are getting married & no I am not pregnant,” the Grammy winner replied back via Twitter.
She added: “We are eloping for one reason only. We both want an intimate ceremony.”
This is the first marriage for Clarkson. Blackstock, who is the stepson of country singer Reba McEntire, has two children from a previous marriage — daughter Savannah, 12, and son Seth, 6. The couple and his two children already live under the same roof, but the “People Like Us” singer is hoping to expand. She laughed, “I want two kids. Two more, that is. I’ve already got two!”

You know what this whole Miley Cyrus-VMA debacle thing is reminding me of? Kanye West and Taylor Swift in 2009. It?s mostly because there?s an ?aftermath? and every celebrity has an opinion about what went down and who is to blame and after about 48 hours, everyone starts getting really hyperbolic and judgy. As I said yesterday (and as it was happening on Sunday), I thought Miley looked and acted like the biggest cracked-out stripper that ever was. Some say she was obviously on drugs, some say she was just high on attention. It was all just embarrassing and gross and people are still talking about it. People like? Kelly Clarkson.
On Monday, Kelly tweeted: “Just saw a couple performances from the VMAs last night. 2 words…#pitchystrippers.” You know what? I kind of love that. Gaga WAS pitchy. Miley was out of tune. Bruno Mars was like the only person who sounded really, really good live. The rest of them were pitchy strippers.
Brooke Shields ? who was on Hannah Montana, she plays Miley?s mom ? was on the Today show yesterday and she had some harsh words too: “I was Hannah Montana’s mother. I do not approve. I just want to know who’s advising her, and why it’s necessary. I mean, the whole finger thing, and the hand…Robin [Thicke] probably at that point was going, ‘I don’t think this is a good idea,’ [Our children] can’t watch that. I feel like it’s a bit desperate.”
There are also some stories going around about Robin Thicke feeling sort of put out about the whole Miley situation, and Robin?s mom Gloria Loring told media outlets: “I don’t understand what Miley Cyrus is trying to do. I think she’s misbegotten in this attempt of hers. And I think it was not beneficial. I didn’t get what her point was. It was so over the top as to almost be a parody of itself.”
Also, Morning Joe?s Mika Brzezinski had some harsh words for Miley too. But keep in mind that right after Mika slammed Miley, she played second fiddle to Joe Scarborough?s ramblings on the joys of voter suppression.

Kelly Clarkson is getting married in just two months. She’s marrying divorcee Brandon Blackstock, whom she’s known for years professionally prior to their romantic relationship. We haven’t heard rumors about her breaking up his marriage or anything. She did admit in an interview earlier this year that she first met Brandon when he was married and yet she knew that she would end up with him. Supposedly they reconnected when he was already divorced for a year and the rest is history. Well Kelly is getting ready to tie the knot for the first time, and she told Ryan Seacrest that it feels right because she also gets along with Brandon’s kids:
It’s not a try hard situation. It’s easy… It’s work, obviously after a year and a half… reality starts to set in. It’s fun work, it’s not like he wants to change me and I want to change him. We’re very similar.
Even like his kids, are you kidding me? I have a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old now ? after being single for six years! We all live together and everything ? it?s so different, but it?s perfect. They?re awesome and I actually really dig the mom thing ? I am quick to go, ?I told you not to touch that!?? I am totally my mom. My mom was a hard mom.

On the surface it’s not offensive or anything, although it sounds like Brandon’s ex wife is out of the picture. Kelly makes it sound like she’s raising those kids with Brandon, right? An article earlier this year, in US Weekly, stated that their mother is still very much involved in their lives. They quoted a source who said that Kelly is “careful not to step on their mother’s toes.” Not here she’s not, although she was just kind of rambling in that radio interview. I’m inclined to give her a break since I like her and enjoy her music. She’s not tweeting photos of the kids or calling herself a “bonus mom,” but she should step off a little. They already have a mom.
Also, I got a bad impression of Brandon during the Grammy awards. He kind of shook his head and looked annoyed when Kelly called him sexy in her acceptance speech. I know that’s just one brief moment in time but I got the douche vibe from him. At least one article I found claims that he has a wandering eye, but it’s pretty much conjecture. I shouldn’t be so negative, I wish her happiness and fidelity, damnit, even if her best music comes from when she’s been wronged.
