Natalie Portman is denying all of those romance rumors between her and Sean Penn. The rumors have been swirling for about two months. Allegedly, Sean and Natalie were making out around the weekend of the Oscars. When Sean formally filed for separation from Robin Wright Penn in April, gossip soon heated up that Natalie might be the real reason for the split.
In her denial, Natalie Portman basically says that she and Sean are friends and nothing else. This in itself is a huge deal - Natalie Portman rarely, if ever, talks about her personal or dating life, so the rumor that she?s a ?homewrecker? must have been bothering her. She?s a smart girl - smart enough to know that her good-girl image could be ruined by taking up with Sean Penn. But is she smart enough not to even get with Sean in the first place?
Natalie Portman says she isn’t cozying up to Sean Penn.
“Sean Penn is a friend and colleague,” the actress, 27, tells Usmagazine.com. “The reports that we are romantically involved are completely untrue.”
Tabloid Star magazine claimed that Penn, 48 — who recently filed for legal separation from his wife of 13 years, Robin Wright Penn — and Portman were “making out” at West Hollywood’s Sunset Tower Hotel in March.
The New York Post reported today the pair have been “cavorting.”
But Portman continues: “I normally do not respond to rumors about my private life, however, this repeatedly fabricated story has forced me to do so.”
Both Penn and Portman served on the jury of the 2008 Cannes Film Festival.
Penn — who won his second Best Actor Oscar for his role in Milk earlier this year — initially filed for divorce from Wright Penn, 43, in 2007, but his petition was later dismissed. Three days later, she filed her own paperwork. In April 2008, the couple’s divorce petition was dismissed at their request.
Portman split from indie rocker Devendra Banhart last September after four months of dating.

Nice mention of Devendra Banhart. For a quick refresher, Devandra Banhart is a Venezuelan-American singer-songwriter and some kind of icon to the indie-rock kids. That?s Natalie?s real type - those 20-something, whippet-thin hipster guys with dark hair. Not the over-40 Oscar winners who could just as easily spend the night with some hookers and cocaine. Big difference. Which makes me believe Natalie?s denial, hook, line and sinker. Sean is simply not her type.

Natalie Portman and Sean Penn are still together apparently. The two have been seen all around LA together making everyone cringe as they pass by. Kissing Sean Penn must feel like tonguing rancid milk poured in an ashtray.
Portman also wants to spend more time in LA. She bought a 4,866 square foot castle-like house in Los Feliz for $3.25 million. It has four bedrooms with cathedral ceilings and features two guesthouses, a pool, a courtyard and state-of-the-art security which I will be bypassing in a few days. Those windows don’t get stared through themselves, you know.

Natalie Portman is currently filming Hesher in which she plays a dork who gets molested by an even bigger dork who might also be half-retarded who throws her to the ground with his retard strength and requests that she blow him. At least, that’s what it looks like judging by these pictures. I could be totally wrong though.

Natalie Portman decided to give us a peek at what she wears underneath on the set of Hesher. The beautiful actress was sporting some Pink granny panties it looks like. Not that I mind. Underwear was made for one thing, throwing on the floor. Natalie would help us out by doing just that. If help is needed, I would gladly assist Natalie Portman in taking off her underwear...but I'd doubt it would stop there!

Natalie Portman was photographed on set in LA in a fight scene with a bully. The 27 year-old looked unglamorous for once and at least a decade younger in a pair of glasses and a floral skirt with brown work shoes. She plays the role of Nichole in Hesher, due out next year. Here’s the plot description from IMDB, and they say it contains spoilers so beware. They always do it that way though and it doesn’t seem like the story will be ruined for you if you read it. Portman flashed her cute butt in Pink underwear, and since she’s 27, not 17, I don’t feel bad about publishing these.
T.J, a 13 year old boy and his Father, both devastated by the tragic loss of the Mother/Wife, are now living with the elderly Grandma. On his way to school one day, T.J has a chance encounter with Hesher, a late 20’s year old with a troubled past. Hesher assumes a role as both mentor and tormentor, leading T.J into troubles he could never have imagined. Nicole, a young grocery clerk trying to make ends meet steps in to protect T.J from a vicious attack, T.J becomes enamored with Nicole, only to have his fantasies destroyed by Hesher. Hesher moves into Grandma’s home, although uninvited, he is somehow accepted.

Rumor has it that Portman is in a relationship with Sean Penn, but I kind of hope those stories are not true. It always seemed to me that she had more sense than that. Besides, I thought she was dating Rodrigo Santoro. Wouldn’t you pick Santoro over Penn?
Have you seen the faux interview with Portman and comedian Zach Galifianakis? It came out last week but we may as well stick it here. Galifianakis plays the rule of a clueless fan boy who asks Portman inappropriate questions about her personal grooming habits and plans to go nude on screen. It’s from Funny or Die and I didn’t find it very amusing, just kind of awkward. That’s probably what they were going for. Galifianakis would no doubt approve of these photos.

Sean Penn is married to Robin Wright Penn so it’s confusing that at a dinner at Sunset Tower Hotel’s Tower Bar on March 17, Penn and Natalie Portman were seen “constantly touching each other.” A witness says that they then went to a secluded spot to make out. Star reports:
“They went to a bank of elevators that only goes to the spa or to private rooms,” an eyewitness tells Star. “They came back about 45 minutes later, and that’s when I saw them making out.”
“There’s a door outside of the hotel’s Tower Bar that has a bridge to the terrace, so it’s semi-private,” the eyewitness explains. “I used that path to get to the restroom, and when I came back, I had to go through some curtains ? and that’s when I interrupted Sean and Natalie! When they saw me, they were startled and quickly composed themselves.”
Word is Natalie managed to force her tongue through Sean’s permanent scowl. Something that hasn’t happened in 40 years and an event that many consider to be the first sign of the apocalypse.

What kind of fictitious couple would Natalie Portman and Brad Pitt make? She seems… dare I say… too young for the 45-year-old actor. She?s 27 years old (she turns 28 in June), but looks and acts younger to me. Anyway, Brad and Natalie will be playing lovers in the just-announced film Artifacts, based on the Leanne Shapton book Important Artifacts and Personal Property from the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion, and Jewelry. Both Natalie and Brad will produce as well as star. Variety has more:
Paramount Pictures has attached Brad Pitt and Natalie Portman to star in a film based on the new Leanne Shapton book “Important Artifacts and Personal Property from the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion, and Jewelry.” The book was just published by Farrar Straus & Giroux.
Paramount won an auction for the book rights Tuesday night, with Pitt’s Plan B producing with Portman’s Handsomecharlie Films banner. Portman brought the book to Pitt, whose company is Par-based.
The book takes the form of Sotheby’s-like estate auction catalog, with 325 entries and photographs depicting items that reveal the private moments and the rise and fall of a four-year relationship between the fictitious couple Hal Morris (a 40ish photographer) and Lenore Doolan, (a New York Times food columnist in her late 20s).
The project will be developed as a romantic comedy, with Pitt to play Morris, and Portman to play Doolan.
Shapton, an illustrator and art director of the NYT’s Op-Ed page, uses items that range from clothes to notes, e-mails and heirlooms to convey the excitement, the hopes and dreams, and ultimately the heartache of a love affair that runs its course.
CAA brokered the deal.
Pitt, who’ll next be seen starring in the Quentin Tarantino-directed “Inglourious Basterds” and the Terence Malick-directed “The Tree of Life,” is expected to next star in the Steven Soderbergh-directed “Moneyball.” It’s the latest high-profile lit buy for his Plan B, which has James Gray writing to direct an adaptation of the just-published David Grann book “The Lost City of Z.” Earlier this week, Par acquired the John Le Carre novel “The Night Manager” for Pitt to produce.
Portman will next be seen in the Jim Sheridan-directed drama “Brothers.”

If the book was just published, and Paramount just won the rights, there?s a good chance the screenplay adaptation won?t be ready for months, maybe even a year. Reading a description of it, I?d say that it will be a difficult translation into film. But still, I bet the book is an interesting read.
I?m really wondering about the potential chemistry between Natalie and Brad. I realize I just said it, but she just seems so young and girlish. Next to her, Brad will look so much older. Like when Catherine Zeta-Jones first hooked up with Michael Douglas. That kind of ?Oh my God, he?s dating his daughter!? nonsense. I wish Brad would stick to female co-stars in their 30s and 40s. Maybe he could do another film with Cate Blanchett!
