With both going through some hard breakups, Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner may be the perfect match for one another.
The Complicated singer filed for divorce from Sum 41 husband Deryck Whibley in October, but is making up for lost time with The Hills hunk for several weeks now.
“They’re hooking up but they’re keeping it low-key,” a source told E! News.
The couple is trying to keep their romance out of the media, but were caught having dinner at Los Angeles restaurant Koi then heading out for more fun at Voyeur, where they flirted heavily.
“You can tell they’re into each other and both like to have a good time,” said the source. “They’re cute together.”
Meanwhile, since the singer split from Deryck she has been linked to Wilmer Valderrama and Brandon Davis. Brody was dating Playboy playmate Jayde Nicole, but the two went separate ways in December.

Little miss sneer Avril Lavigne is finding love after the end of her marriage to fellow Canadian rocker Deryck Whimbley. According to E! Online, Lavigne has been seeing reality star Brody Jenner. Jenner is the son of former Olympian Bruce Jenner from “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and had a couple of reality shows of his own. He was last dating 2008 Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole.
Is Jenner a step up from Handy Manny Wilmer Valderrama, Brandon Davis, and/or a random rich boy? I would say that he’s more of a lateral move for Lavigne.
Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner might be Hollywood’s hottest new hookup.
Sources tell E! News that 25-year-old Lavigne and the Hills star have been seeing each other quietly over the last couple weeks.
“They’re hooking up,” an insider said, “but they’re keeping it low-key.”
Not so low-key that they haven’t been seen in public, however. The pair, who both became single late last year, were first spotted at dinner at Koi on Feb. 4. According to a restaurant source, the “Sk8ter Boi” warbler and 26-year-old hunk left together in the same car and drove to club Voyeur.
They were last seen out again on Thursday, back at Voyeur, where they partied all night.
“You can tell they’re into each other and both like to have a good time,” another source says. “They’re cute together.”

This won’t last, but at least we won’t be subjected to photos of the two posing at Las Vegas events. There are sure to be the obligatory photos of Lavigne stumbling out of a club drunk while Jenner holds her up, though. Hopefully she’s grown out of the phase where she spits on photographers trying to get her picture.

On the lookout for some good-smelling accessories, Avril Lavigne was spotted doing some candle shopping in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (January 31).
Joined by a gal pal, the “Complicated” songstress looked a bit annoyed when she noticed some far-off paparazzi snapping up pictures.
As for her new contribution to the “Alice in Wonderland” soundtrack, Avril told press she got the gig thanks to her clothing designs.
“It all started off with me designing an Abbey Dawn/Alice In Wonderland collaboration for my fashion line at Kohls. I was working at the Disney offices going though graphic images from the movie for my designs and getting up to speed on the movie project.”
“I was really inspired and excited about the film at that moment, so I asked Disney if they would like me to write the theme song for the film. They went back to Tim and he said yeah give it a go. I was so excited when I got the news! I sat down on my piano immediately and wrote the song.”

They filed for divorce after more than three years of marriage, but Avril Lavigne says she’s still close with ex-husband Deryck Whibley.
The “Complicated” songstress told Ryan Seacrest that though they’re not romantically involved, she and Whibley love working on music together.
“We still work together all the time. He’s one of my best friends ... We’ve been friends for a really long time, and we always will be. We’re family and we have a connection.”

It’s one of the most anticipated films of the year, and “Alice in Wonderland” looks to be bringing a stellar soundtrack along with it.
Among the artists involved is punk-rock pop star Avril Lavigne, who’s song “Alice (Underground” is the lead single.
In addition to Ms. Lavigne, the soundtrack, titled Almost Alice, will also feature the All-American Rejects, Owl City, Shinedown, Metro Station, and All Time Low.
“Alice in Wonderland,” starring Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway is set to hit theaters all over America on March 5th, 2010.

Getting away from her punk girl roots, Avril Lavigne was spotted doing some shopping at Barney’s New York in Beverly Hills yesterday (December 13).
The “Sk8er Boi” songstress looked to be having a good time as she browsed the racks at the swanky department store while sporting a black knit hat and sunglasses.
And as the first decade of the 2000s comes to an end, Avril has been honored by being named to the Rolling Stone reader’s poll top 10 lists.
Ms. Lavigne scored the #8 spot for best single (Complicated) as well as the #4 slot for best album (Let Go).
