Stepping out for an enjoyable evening, Tyra Banks was spotted at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood last night (September 14).
The former Victoria?s Secret model looked lovely as she made her exit with a mystery male, and her ring-finger bling has the gossip mills working overtime to figure out if she?s betrothed.
Tyra recently told press that though she?s considered to be one of the most beautiful women in the world, she still hates getting her picture taken.
?I don?t like the red carpet because as a model ? background: I?m not a model anymore, I?m retired ? but there?s one photographer and you know where that photographer is and you can find whatever angle is right because of that photographer. But there?s a hundred of them, and it?s like ugly shot, ugly shot, ugly shot, pretty. I hate it. It gives me anxiety.?

She?s always up for a swanky shindig, and earlier today (September 8) Tyra Banks was spotted at the premiere party for America?s Next Top Model Cycle 8 in New York City.
Joined by Andre Leon Talley, Ms. Banks was all smiles as she posed for the paparazzi at the Marea venue in Manhattan.
This time around, Tyra & Co have recruited industry bigwig Franca Sozzani, the editor of Vogue Italia, to kick up the competition.
Executive producer Laura Fuest told press, "It's one of the most influential magazines in the fashion business. People who wouldn't return our calls are saying, 'We'd love to be part of the show.'"

Tyra Banks is still around despite the failure of her self-centered exploitative talk show. She’s still doing “America’s Top Model” on the CW Network and the new season premieres this fall. In a promo video for the show, Tyra gushes over a 6?2? would-be model with a scary small waist. When people called Tyra out for it, she of course denied responsibility for the video, said it was “misconstrued” and made it all about her. She did have some nice things to say about body image and self esteem, but it comes with so much self righteousness that it’s hard to stomach.
Tyra Banks is finally responding to a growing controversy surrounding an America?s Next Top Model promo featuring a 6?2? model with a shockingly small waist.
?In an effort to create a fun and entertaining sneak peek of the upcoming cycle, America?s Next Top Model released a trailer that was edited in way that misconstrued our overarching message,? Banks says in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE.
?As a leader in celebrating and promoting healthy body image, I must admit that I regrettably didn?t see this clip before it was released to the public, (with multiple Top Model departments, it?s just impossible to review everything) but on behalf of the Top Model team, these were not the intentions, and we truly apologize for any confusion, anger or disappointment it may have caused,? the statement continues.
?The passionate response the trailer has evoked proves that the message to promote and celebrate all different ? healthy and natural ?- body types has resonated with our viewers and I?m so proud of every one of you who voiced your opinion and participated in this conversation. I have experienced body image scrutiny from one extreme to the next ?- as an awkward, extremely thin pre-teen who couldn?t gain weight no matter what I did, to later being slammed by the media for my fuller, curvier frame,? continues Banks, who was the victim of body bullying in 2006 after unflattering beach shots were splashed across the Internet.
?Driven by these personal experiences,? she says, ?I am committed to expanding the definition of beauty which includes ALL shapes, sizes and proportions, from skinny to curvy and everything in between. It?s about women telling the world to KISS their ?- skinny, wide, droopy, flat, cellulite-covered or FAT -? you know what!?

On one hand I feel for this girl, because who are we to judge whether or not she has an eating disorder? There’s something obviously disturbing though about Tyra praising such a frail-looking woman while Jay Manuel quips that the other judge, J. Alexander, will starve himself to look like her. On the other hand, if she was 20 pounds heavier (and still thin) she probably wouldn’t have made it to this level of the show. Tyra wants ratings, whether it’s in the form of a transsexual contestant a model of more normal proportions or a preternaturally thin person. She can shriek about how we don’t understand and make a bunch of grandiose statements about body image, but there’s nothing empowering about a model competition show where catfights, drama and controversy drive programming decisions.

Stepping out for a special evening, Tyra Banks was spotted at the CW’s “It’s a Reality” at Simyone Lounge in New York City on Tuesday night (February 23).
The supermodel/talk show host looked beautiful in an all black get-up, and happily talked with press while posing for pictures.

Tyra Banks has announced that the fifth season of her show will be the last season of her show.Banks says that she will now focus more on her movie production company Bankable Films. She says she will continue to do things that will keep women and girls “fierce.” Whatever that means. (Didn’t someone on Project Runway say that?) You’ll also get to see Banks on other shows, including The CW’s America’s Next Top Model and ABC’s True Beauty.

I do not know, nor have I ever heard of, any real live flesh person who actually watches that talk show Tyra Banks does. Which is probably for the best, since Tyra’s quitting. From E!:
“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” she tells fans on her website. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past five years…[Your] love and support is always felt by me and it’s given me the courage to take more exciting steps in my life. So I thank you for that.”
The lights are set to go dim in spring 2010, at the conclusion of the fifth full season.
“My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” she says. Among those projects will be movies, she promises.

Tyra Banks will end her Emmy-winning talk show, "The Tyra Show," after five seasons, it was announced Monday (December 28). The model-turned-mogul said that the show's current season will be its last.
"This will be the last season of 'The Tyra Show,' " Banks told People. "I've been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past five years."
The show, which earned Banks two Daytime Emmy Awards, will end its run in spring 2010. Over the years, Banks used the show to empower young women and even address her critics. In an infamous episode, Banks appeared in a bathing suit telling her harshest critics, who had criticized her for gaining weight, to "kiss my fat ass." Recently, Banks also took off her hair weave.
Banks, who also hosts and produces "America's Next Top Model," will focus on her production company, Bankable Productions, and other future projects that bring "positive images of women to the big screen." Banks will continue her work on "Top Model" — its 15th season is expected to begin airing in February. And her ABC show "True Beauty" will continue to be in production.
"My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are," she said, adding in a letter on her Web site, "There's a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart. And I salute you my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a 'Tyra Show.' I really love you all."

She’s been having a blast with her daytime hit “The Tyra Show” for the last five seasons, but now Tyra Banks has said she’s moving on.
The Victoria’s Secret vixen announced, “This will be the last season of The Tyra Show. I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past five years.”
Up next for Ms. Banks is the launch of Bankable Studios, a New York City-based film production company.
Tyra explained, “My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are.”
She added, “There’s a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart. And I salute you my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a Tyra Show. I really love you all.”

Her hard work is paying off, as Tyra Banks has been named the top moneymaking female on prime time TV.
Thanks to her hit show, “America’s Next Top Model,” Banks has scored the number one spot on the Forbes list of top earning women on prime time, beating out stars like Eva Longoria, Katherine Heigl and Julia Louis Dreyfus.
The 35-year-old earns an estimated $30 million from “Top Model,” her daytime talk show and various other TV appearances, according to Forbes.com.
Katherine Heigl placed a distant second, earning $18 million for starring on “Grey’s Anatomy” and various movie roles like, “The Ugly Truth.”

Getting back to her modeling roots, Tyra Banks was spotted doing a photo shoot in New York City earlier today (October 12).
The “America’s Next Top Model” diva looked amazing as she donned a variety of outfits and poses while the photographer snapped up plenty of sexy pics.
And of course, being the seasoned pro that she is, Tyra looked to be having a blast working it for the camera, making everything look very natural.
When asked about her work on “Top Model” alongside Ms. Banks, Lauren Conrad explained how much energy and positivity Tyra exudes to everyone around her.
