I?m not a big fan of making fun of someone?s overly-large forehead, because seriously, they can?t help it. Plus, I?m so opposed to bangs, I much rather see an adult woman?s forehead than have to look at some bangs trauma. In Tyra Banks?s case, I will admit that she generally looks better with a ?softer? hairstyle, anything less severe than this Croydon Facelift she was working at last night?s Keep A Child Alive Black Ball. Incidentally, most attendees wore white and black? but not TYRA. Of course not. She wore this cheap-looking purple gown and worked her forehead like a Kardashian. That?s who Ty-Ty reminds me of here - Kim Kardashian. Neither woman should wear their hair pulled back this tight EVER. It makes Tyra look like a Disney villainess.
I?m also including some photos of Alicia Keys, who was the hostess of the event, and Swizz Beatz, who is still playing the dutiful husband (in public, but in private it?s a mess). I don?t even know what ?Licia is wearing.

She?s always up for a good time, and yesterday (August 30) Tyra Banks was spotted having a blast at Walt Disney?s Hollywood Studios.
The ?America?s Next Top Model? babe smiled brightly as she posed with Minnie Mouse while sporting a stylish new Disney couture mouse ear hat at the Lake Buena Vista, Florida locale.
And it seems Tyra was inspired to lose 30 pounds after some less-than-flattering pictures of her on holiday in Mexico surfaced last month.
An insider told press, ?Tara did 30 minutes of high intensity cardio ? running, circuit training and spinning ? and weights every day. She also mixed in yoga, Pilates and boxing. Watching TV in the evening, she?d do 20 push-ups, 50 crunches and maybe some squats. By early August her measurements were about 38-26-39 ? perfect for her frame.?

She?s always up for a good time, and last night (August 24) Tyra Banks was spotted at the Cirque Du Soleil show in New York City.
The ?America?s Next Top Model? babe chilled out with the cast of Zarkana at Radio City Music Hall and took plenty of fun photos along the way.
In a recent blog post, Tyra gave some tips on how to create the hottest look for Facebook profile pictures without needing a professional photographer.
?When I?m in doubt, I stand with my feet a shoulder-width apart, bend one knee, suck in my tummy and put a hand on my hip?the stance makes my curves look great even if I?ve skipped a workout. Find your own signature pose by clicking through your favorite photos of yourself. See if you can find a pattern. Do you turn to a 45-degree angle for a slenderizing effect? Do you favor a cute little head tilt? Practice in the mirror until you?ve got the look perfected!?

Tyra Banks really brought her A-game to the Do Something Awards last weekend (click header for closeup). The A of course standing for “Argentinian lip dressing.” Or possibly “Androgynous dirt squirrel.” I bet Orlando Bloom is jealous that he could only grow a mustache half as good for Pirate of the Caribbean.

Bringing her fashionable self to the evening's festivities, the always-lovely Tyra Banks hit up the 2011 Do Something Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night (August 14).
The 37-year-old supermodel gallivanted around the Hollywood Palladium blue carpet before heading inside to partake in the charity-driven annual VH1 event.
Among the nominees, Miss Banks is in the running for the Do Something Style honors - as she's competing against Nigel Barker, Gisele Bundchen, Fergie and Christy Turlington.
As for the ceremony, "Glee" actress Jane Lynch is tending to hosting duties for the second straight year with the show set to air on Thursday, August 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.

Tyra Banks is shamelessly plugging her new book “Modelland” every way she can think of, even reenacting scenes from the book in crowded public places from which people can’t escape. You know what they say about captive audiences! The Daily Mail says:
Tyra Banks hit the streets of New York dressed as one of the characters from her new fantasy book “Modelland.”
Tyra and a team of models hit the subway to ride the 7 Train.
“They all piled on and started posing on the train,” said an onlooker. “She was wearing a glittery eye mask that made her look like a superhero.”
Tyra was also seen acting out the part of her character from the book [by "tossing] her drink all over the other models,” said a witness.
“The whole thing looked like some crazy street theater.”
The book — which was written by Tyra herself, not a ghost writer — is the first in a trilogy about the mystical world of “Modelland.” Think America’s Next Top Model meets Harry Potter, with a little 7th grade creative writing flair:
The series of books are based on a teenage girl and her friends [going] to a pretend place called Modelland.
“Every girl in the world wants to go there because it’s where ‘Intoxibellas’ are trained,” Tyra [said].
“Intoxibellas are drop-dead beautiful, kick-butt fierce and, yeah, maybe they have some powers too. But I’m confirming NOTHING! You gotta wait for the book.”
And those unconfirmed “powers” is what finally brings us to the Barbie Pegasus wing that’s over her eye during her Good Morning American interview. It’s like a Golden Ticket, but way stupider. She told GMA’s Robin Roberts:
“In Modelland, this fantasy world that I created for my novel, if you find one of these ? which I call a Smize ? it increases your chances of getting into the most exclusive school in the entire world, the school that creates the most amazing supermodels called Intoxibellas. It increases your chances 91%.?
Modellland? Intoxibellas? Smize? Come on. Even Snooki’s book was better than this shit. And it says a lot if you’re losing literary battles to Snooki. That’s like losing a pants-pissing contest to the Cowardly Lion.

Stopping by for a media appearance, Tyra Banks visited "Good Morning America" in New York City today (July 21).
The 37-year-old supermodel took to the early show to promote her debut novel "Modelland," which is the first of a three-part series.
The book, which unravels in a fantasy land, centers around a super-exclusive school that turns out supermodels called "Intoxibellas" - specifically focusing most of the text on four girls who made their way into the prestigious establishment despite their unconventional looks.
Tyra also dished about the forthcoming 17th season of "America's Next Top Model," detailing all the drama that it has in store for viewers, "I have girls from cycle one until now - the fan favorites. I am editing the show right now and it is crazy. They are all these Type A personalities because you are getting the best of the best and they are effervescent and they pop," she told host Robin Roberts.
Banks then hinted to the new challenges this crop of potential runway women will have to endure, telling, "I have them singing songs, doing music videos, creating perfumes... You can't just be a model anymore."

Showing off her supermodel expertise, Tyra Banks took to Times Square in New York City earlier today (July 20) to strike a few poses.
The "Top Model" host looked fierce as she worked the cameras, taking center stage among a bevy of fellow flash-ready females.
Furthering her tour of the Big Apple, Tyra will hit the set of "Good Morning America" tomorrow (July 21), as she exclusively reveals the title of her much-talked about new novel.
Banks will also stick around to tackle viewer's must-know questions and dish about the day's hot topics.

Tyra Banks used to be a supermodel but then she quit and got her own talk show and model search show. That meant instead of staying in shape and walking on a runway, she sat on her ass all day and judged people. So it’s no surprise her hips look like Jennifer Love Hewitt’s now. What is a surprise though is that she also moonlights as a crotch inspector.
