She had a blast at the 2014 ACM Awards on Sunday night, and earlier today (April 7) Shakira turned up in London, England.
The ?Hips Don?t Lie? lady was in good spirits as she greeted fans and shutterbugs, sporting a black jacket with jeans and black boots as she made her way through Heathrow International Airport.
As for the reports that her boyfriend Gerard Pique is a bit of a clingy control freak, Shakira told fans via Facebook that nothing could be farther from the truth.
She wrote, "Hey guys ? I recently said in some interviews that my man could be territorial. For the record, I was being humorous and now I see that some press took it very literally!"
"The reality is that we have a beautiful relationship of mutual trust, and jealousy has never been an issue on either side. Next time I promise, I'll be more careful when attempting to use my sense of humor, as clearly it can be easily misinterpreted!"

Here is Shakira amazing bod was on display at the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas tonight.
She took to the red carpet looking uber sexy wearing a Zuhair Murad Fall 2014 teal silk-jersey long-sleeved gown featuring an embroidered bodice with a sheer nude silk detail and black laddered-tights effect, styled with signature wavy tresses. In the wrong hands this could?ve been incredibly tacky, but Shakira?s hips don?t lie.

Shakira attended last night’s ACM awards in grand fashion. She did a duet with Blake Shelton and was mostly there to promote her own self-titled album. Shakira is a gorgeous woman, but I feel like she goes out of her way to look tacky. This Zuhair Murad is a great example of this trend. Wouldn’t this have been a stunning gown in solid fabric with some detailing around the bustline? The dress contains a million nude cutouts instead. It’s kind of awful, but Shakira looks very happy with her choice. That’s what really matters.
As a side note, Shakira wants to clear up all those things she said about Gerard Pique acting like a territorial d-bag. Shakira told People, “I was being humorous and now I see that some press took it very literally! The reality is that we have a beautiful relationship of mutual trust, and jealousy has never been an issue on either side.” Fine, Shakira. You were only kidding.
Sheryl Crowe wore a deep blue Christian Siriano dress with a geometric twist and an angular fishtail. The “pyramid” earrings are a bit much with her hair down. Cheryl was nominated for Best Female Vocalist. I love her boxy red clutch.
Angie Harmon showed off her legs in an iridescent purple minidress. I’ve looked everywhere but can’t have an ID on the dress. She looks good, but the hair is very heavy and severe. I’m pretty sure she’s hitting the ‘Tox too.
Cassadee Pope wore a Maria Lucia Hohan gown with shades of red-range toga. This is a strange gown because of the peekaboo nude slip. This is a safe dress for the ACMs, but it’s kind of boring.
Stevie Nicks was there with Hilary Scott. Let’s be perfectly honest here and admit that Stevie pulled this outfit out of her closet five minutes before popping out the door. She’s Stevie Nicks. She’s earned the power to wear whatever she wants.

The weather in New York City was chilly, but Shakira brought the heat when she took the stage at Rockefeller Plaza on Wednesday morning (March 26).
The ?Underneath My Clothes? songstress rocked the house on ?Today,? performing her hits ?Empire? and ?Hips Don?t Lie? as part of the Spring Concert Series.
Last night (March 25) Shakira told Jimmy Fallon that she stays in Spain these days to be close to her beau Gerard Pique. ?I have to live in Barcelona because Gerard is anchored here. Footballers are like soldiers, he can't really travel and go away with me. I'm trying to work out how I'm going to do my next tour.?
?I miss him when I'm away and the baby is so little. I sometimes feel guilty. He has a totally different mindset to me. He always thinks about how everything he does will impact on his team. That's very different to megalomaniac artists! I'm my own boss, I don't have a band and don't have to report to anyone. I was also an only child. I've flown solo my whole life and he has taught me so much about being a team player.?

These are photos of Shakira and her futbol-playing baby daddy, Gerard Pique, as they attended an event for Shakira’s self-titled album in Barcelona last week. Those boots! The She-Wolf has informed all of us that Gerard rules the roost. Shakira keeps meat on her bones because Gerard likes it that way. She won’t do videos with men because Gerard is “very territorial.” In response to this coverage, Gerard told Shakira to shut her “little mouth“ about him to the press.
I finally caught Shakira on The Voice this weekend (it was an E! rerun). She was utterly charming as a lone example of humanity amongst the three tiers of douche (Adam Levine, Usher, and Blake Shelton). This was the goal, of course. I wanted to hug her. She grasped her protegs and promised to serve them well. I am officially a fan.
Let’s see what Shakira reveals in this new interview with E! Online. She tries to clean up the mess left by her Gerard-centered comments:
Those guidelines go both ways: “I have rules, too It’s two sides, you know. He can’t do stuff with models either!”
Shakira’s description of her coupling: “We’re one of those asphyxiating couples, smothering each other all the time. It’s good when you’re man’s protective of you. He’s a defender. He defends the goal. That is his job, so he knows how to do that well.”
Is Gerard threatened by Adam “Sexiest Man” Levine? “Actually, Gerard came here his last vacation…and he met the entire crew and the boys, and they were all so nice to him. It was nice that he at least got to see a little bit of what I do when I’m away from him.”
Shakira’s future female collaboration: “After Rihanna?…She’s like the sexiest woman alive, hands down. I can be sexy, but you have to give me a countdown. You have to go, ‘Shakira, be sexy! Three, two, one!’ But with Rihanna, she’s like that all the time.”

That’s cool of Shakira to tip her hat to Rihanna, who IS always sexy. Rihanna can be sleazy or classy, but she’s always some permutation of sexy.
I do find it a little odd how Shakira describes her dynamic with Gerard. Both “asphyxiating and “smothering” can be interpreted in ways that are not terribly romantic. Those words can sound a little scary, right? Perhaps some words have been lost in translation. Shakira does seem to have a very good grasp on the English language.

The big day is finally here! Shakira's self-titled album is in stores and in celebration, the Latin beauty released the brand new music video for her tune "Empire" on Tuesday (March 25).
Excitedly sharing her video, the "Hips Don't Lie" singer tweeted, "To celebrate album release day, here's the brand new video for Empire!" The "Voice" judge also gave fans a brief preview of the clip last evening, showing off a few pencil sketches of herself dressed in bridal attire and rocking flowing locks.
As for her album, it features 12 new jams including "Can't Remember to Forget You (featuring Rihanna)" and "Medicine (featuring Blake Shelton)."

Celebrating the release of her Exclusive Deluxe Edition Album, Shakira headed to the iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank, California on Monday (March 24).
The "Voice" judge looked gorgeous in a silver sleeveless top, ripped black skinnies, and black heeled boots as she posed for pics at the event hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
Last week, the Colombian pop star achieved a huge accomplishment in social media, even before her new self-titled album hit stores.
On Friday, Shakira wrote, "Wow... I was just told I now have the most-followed page on Facebook in the world! I still cannot believe it! I always wanted to have a lot of friends but never imagined it would be so many...86m! So humbled, can't thank you guys enough for your support. I feel so fortunate to have you. Giant kiss! Forever thankful, Shak."

Kicking off her latest album, Shakira attended a photocall and party at the Hotel W in Barcelona, Spain on Thursday (March 20).
The "Hips Don't Lie" singer looked hot in a short, black semi-sheer dress and thigh-high black boots as she held hands with her soccer stud, Gerard Piqu.
It's a pretty big milestone for the Colombian singer as this will be her 10th record, appropriately self-titled.
She celebrated another achievement on Friday, writing, "Wow... I was just told I now have the most-followed page on Facebook in the world! I still cannot believe it! Shakira told Billboard that she can no longer do videos with men because her boyfriend, Gerard Pique, won’t allow it. She even had to ask Pique permission to shoot “Forget You” with Rihanna. She enjoys this and thinks it’s charming.
“He’s very territorial, and since he no longer lets me do videos with men, well, I have to do them with women,” she says with a laugh. “It’s more than implied in our relationship that I can’t do videos like I used to. It’s out of the question – which I like, by the way. I like that he protects his turf and he values me, in a way that the only person that he would ever let graze my thigh would be Rihanna.”
If protecting your girlfriend from men like a hungry lion protects its meat from other predators isn’t romantic, then I don’t know what is. Like I always tell my girlfriends. You’re chained to the basement because I love you and I don’t want to lose you. Not to another man, the state police or the FBI.

Shakira’s had a busy few years. She gave birth to son Milan (with soccer player boyfriend Gerard Pique) last January as she juggled judging duties on The Voice. That television stint and her latest album are big plays to push her talent to the global stage. She did complain that she missed out on the “4 months maternity” that “every woman on earth” gets, but that was her choice. Most women would love to have the option of 4 months maternity leave, and I think Shakira was a bit confused about reality when she made that comment.
Shakira teamed up with Rihanna for her latest single, “Can’t Remember to Forget You.” The video features both of them humping walls with their booties and cuddling topless together. It’s easy to assume they groped each other so that people would watch the video. Shakira reveals that there was a more pressing reason for the woman-on-woman steaminess. Gerard will no longer allow Shakira to film videos with men. Does that set off alarm bells for any of you?
Her new album: “It’s been two-and-a-half years of making songs, trashing them, doing them again, doing eight versions of each song, having a baby, doing ‘The Voice,’ coming back to the studio, reconnecting with my songs.”
The call of motherhood: “Sometimes I yearn to stay at home with Gerard and Milan. For so long I decided to have what I have now, this family, that it’s logical for me to feel divided. A part of me – well, all of me – wants to be with them all the time and be a housewife. But there’s another part of me that still wants to make music and that’s still pleased with success. I won’t deny it. I know it sometimes sounds almost immoral to admit you like success, but I like it — I like it.”
She’s not a gym rat: “The gym is too demanding for someone who already has so many demands. I want to do something fun, and sports trim me down as much as the gym. Tennis is great because I spend an hour moving and concentrating on that little yellow ball. It’s great therapy.”
