Fitting in a weekend meeting, Julianne Hough stepped out in Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon (February 23).
The 25-year-old actress showed off her new pixie cut and strutted down the stairs of an office building on her way back to her ride.

Making her day a little sunnier, Julianne Hough picked up some flowers from Whole Foods with her new man on Monday (February 17).
The "Dancing with the Stars" alum looked cute in her new short 'do, gray sleeveless top, and flowing skirt as she held hands with Brooks Laich.
In the current issue of Self magazine, the "Safe Haven" star opened up about moving on after breaking up with Ryan Seacrest.
Keeping her heart closely guarded, she revealed, "I?m a relationship girl, and I feel so grateful for the ones I?ve been in. They?ve been excellent ? I?ve been hurt but never angry ? and they?ve helped me grow to be who I am today. But my goal has been to be single for an entire year. There have been moments when I?m like, ?This sucks!? But my dad used to say to me, ?When you feel happy with who you are, you won?t need anybody to fill a void.? So for now, I?m focusing on my work and my soul. I honestly don?t care if I meet somebody or not. I?m just loving life on my own with my own two feet on the ground.?

I may live to regret this Julianne Hough post because god knows she’s not much of a conversation starter. Her new pixie haircut drew some attention but not in a juicy gossip sense. People paid attention to Julianne when she broke up with Ryan Seacrest and did blackface last Halloween, but she’s usually the type to fly under the radar. She’s done so for the past several months in fact.
Until now. These photos show Julianne with her new man, NHL player Brooks Laich, on Sunday and Monday when they made happy-couple outings to Whole Foods and Bristol Farms. Us Weekly has photos of Julianne and Brooks at Disneyland on Saturday. That’s three days in a row of photo ops. This may not be a sudden romance, but the rollout sure is coming fast and furious. Here’s some details from Us on how they got together:
Julianne Hough has a new beau to go with her new ‘do! The Rock of Ages actress, 25 — who debuted a new pixie cut earlier this month — is dating hocker player Brooks Laich of the Washington Capitals, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly.
The couple stepped out together on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., where they were spotted holding hands and sharing a kiss, an onlooker tells Us. They also took a hike with her two dogs on Sunday, Feb. 16, in Studio City, Calif.
The two were set up by a mutual friend, one insider tells Us. “It works out well,” the source says, noting that Hough is into sports. “They’re having fun.” Adds another insider: “She’s happier than ever.”
The former Dancing With the Stars pro has not been linked seriously with anyone since her split from Ryan Seacrest in March 2013. Though her ex has been spotted with model Shayna Terese Taylor, Hough has been spending time with girlfriends like Nina Dobrev, who briefly dated her pal’s brother, Derek Hough.
Laich, meanwhile, seemed to be in the mood for romance on Feb. 14, when he tweeted, “Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone — hope you are spending it with that special someone who makes you happy! #onelove.”

I’m seeing shades of Kaley Cuoco here. Are you? I don’t mean to imply that either Julianne or Kaley are in the midst of showmances, but Julianne and her man want us to see them together. This almost seems like an “Eat your heart out, Ryan Seacrest” type of moment. I mean, Ryan is no Superman, but Julianne wants everyone to know how comfy she is with her new dude. Comfy enough to buy bulk paper goods together. Is that toilet paper? Maybe not. They’re not that serious yet, right? Toilet paper = super serious.

She rocks her short new pixie hair cut as she catches a flight out of Los Angeles International Airport.
In one hand the Dancing With the Stars professional pulled her luggage… and in the other she carried what appeared to be a take out dinner to eat on her flight.

I have to give Julianne Hough some begrudging credit. After she did blackface for Halloween, she offered a heartfelt apology and then she did what so few celebrities manage to do successfully: she went away. No more daily pap strolls, no more walking every red carpet she could find. She went away for several months, allowing most people to forget about the controversy, and then she began making the occasional appearance ? some workout pics here or there, a Grammy party last month.
And now she?s changed up her look! Just a few weeks ago, Julianne?s blonde hair was past her shoulders. But she debuted a new pixie cut this weekend. I kind of like it? I?m not one of those women who gets super-jazzed about pixie cuts in general ? I think it?s a strong look and you need a certain kind of face and attitude to pull it off. Think Charlize Theron rather than Michelle Williams. Does Julianne have the kind of face that can pull off a pixie? Hm.
I will give her credit for not going TOO short. She left the top part a good length, and it?s going to be less awkward for her to grow it out if and when she chooses to try something else. So? I kind of like it. Some people believe that every young woman should try a radical pixie cut at least once. I?m not one of those people, but I do think she?s at the right age to experiment with her look like this. Just as long as she?s not doing blackface again, I?m fine with this.

She?s always up for a good time, and Julianne Hough had a blast searching for a flirty Valentine?s Day getup in Hollywood yesterday (January 21).
The ?Safe Haven? hottie hit up the Lady Love store in Tinseltown where she tried on a variety of sexy outfits while taking advantage of post-holiday specials.
Unable to decide on just one ensemble, Julianne appeared to purchase two different animal print catsuits along with a few other accessories before leaving the shop.
Last week, Ms. Hough showed up to support her gal pal Drew Barrymore as she launched her new photo book ?Find It In Everything? during a lull in awards show season.
