Stepping out for a fancy affair, Christina Hendricks was spotted at the Tracy Paul-hosted dinner for Maria Cristina Buccellati last night (October 11).
The ?Mad Men? hottie hammed it up with fellow actresses Monet Mazur and Sasha Alexander at the exclusive Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles as paparazzi snapped pictures.
And though she?s made a huge name for herself playing sexy secretary Joan Holloway, Christina isn?t content to be pigeonholed by the role.
When asked if she feared being typecast, Hendricks shared, ?I only play secretaries now. No, I don?t think so. Joan is a one-of-a-kind role. You don?t see roles like that all the time. People who watch Mad Men know it?s a quality project and know that we are actors who have a larger range than what they see on TV.?

Yesterday, Christina Hendricks wore this animal-print (leopard?) St. John dress to two events, the premiere of IRIS (the Cirque du Soleil film) and a luncheon benefit for the Rape Treatment Center. Is this dress capable of going from day to night on its own? Well? kind of. I think it probably works better as an evening party dress, something cute for a premiere or something, and maybe it?s a bit too sexy for a luncheon. Still, I can?t tell if it?s the dress that?s sexy or if it?s just Christina.
It?s an interesting dress on Christina because it manages to show off her hourglass figure without having her boobs spilling out - usually Christina can only manage one thing at once, and God knows, she loves for her boobs to spill out. I kind of like her in an animal print, and I like the cut of this dress - on her. Her makeup looks especially good too - because Christina often looks too garish and clown-like like she gets really made up. Also: is she wearing a wiglet? The back part of her hair looks? odd. I think she?s wearing a hairpiece, like Adele does (probably the same shade of red too).
More photos from the premiere of IRIS- Vanessa Hudgens in a boho dress. It?s cute on her, and her hair is looking better. And Cindy Crawford, whose face is looking better, IMO. The swelling and ?frozen? look has eased up, and I can see some of her old, normal face again.

It?s always a night of non-stop soirees, and Christina Hendricks was spotted popping in at the AMC afterparty for the annual Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 18).
The red-headed actress sported the same cleavage-baring gown she wore to the awards show where her hit show ?Mad Men? took home the Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series.
Hendricks also took the time to stop in at the HP Touchsmart Gift Lounge at the Nokia Theater followed by a visit to the Governor?s Ball at the L.A. Convention Center.
During the course of her many appearances, Christina told that she and her husband of nearly two years, Geoffrey Arend, are relishing their time together before commiting to having kids.
"We enjoy other people's kids very much," she told Access Hollywood. "We're having fun right now."
"We're having a lot of fun," Arend added.

You know that I love Christina Hendricks, right? And that I?m often blind to her style faults, of which she has many. I think Christina?s biggest problem might be that she doesn?t seem to know what to do with her (store-bought) boobs? She tries giving them boob-caplets, she tries jacking them to high heaven, she tries covering them up in boob burqas, but they?re just SO BIG. It?s like nothing can really be done with them. Anyway, last night, Christina decided to jack them to high heaven in this heavy-looking beaded gown by Johanna Johnson.
What I like: the neckline is pretty, and her boobs don?t look as jacked as they did in that rose Vivienne Westwood. I also like the beading on the top part - I actually everything from the waist up and the neck down. That part of the gown photographed beautifully. But from the waist down? well, there were issues. There was heavy beading on the hem which made the dress look too ?heavy? and the extra bottom glitter was unnecessary - no one?s looking at her heels, you know? It?s Christina - we?re looking at her boobs, don?t even try to draw the eye down. Plus, the front slit was much, much too high. It felt like we were about to see whether the carpets matched the drapes.
As for her styling?I liked her hair. I liked that there were no bangs, and that her hair looked fluffy and breezy. Her makeup looked overdone when she was talking to Ryan Seacrest, but in these photos, it?s fine. The white-silver of the gown washes her out a little bit, but she?s not at Code Red: Corpsey.
I also included a photo of Elisabeth Moss in Marchesa. The dress suits her, and it?s pretty flattering for her figure. Her hair was a hot mess, though. I think Moss is just one of those girls who always has hair issues, though. There?s also a photo of the ladies of Mad Men - I liked Cara Buono?s vintage-looking gown, and of course, I loved Kiernan Shipka?s little party dress. She?s such a cutie. And there?s Mrs. Blankenship! Huzzah.

I hate the way Christina Hendricks looks in these photos. I hate it so much that at the end of the post, I?m going to include some of the days-old tit-buffet photos of Christina in the rose Vivienne Westwood, just because that?s the way I like my boob-tastic gingers: with their racks out and heaved to high heaven. These photos - of Christina in black and white - are from Tuesday, a celebration for Self Magazine. Hendricks was one of several women honored by the magazine for their work with non-profits and charities. Christina?s work is with the Make A Wish Foundation, which she supports through her work with Latisse Wishes Challenge. At the event, Christina told reporters:
?I?m taking a Make A Wish Foundation child to the Emmys on Sunday. That?s his wish. So I?m excited to grant that. He?s 19, he?s from Texas. He?s gonna have a good date. I get to meet him Saturday, we?re gonna go half lunch with his family and meet him, and brooks brothers is going to give him a tuxedo and we?re going to get him really set up, its gonna be fun.?
Um? he?s 19 and his ?wish? is to go to the Emmys with Christina? One of two things: he?s a sick-but-horny 19-year-old who loves boobs and just wants to spend an evening looking at the best pair in America; OR, he?s a sick-but-fabulous young man and he wants to give Christina some one-on-one criticism of her style. That conversation begins, in my mind, with, ?BITCH, I told you to wear a jewel tone. I don?t even want to be seen with your ass now.? But seriously, how cute is it that she?s bringing a Make A Wish kid to the Emmys? That?s really nice.
Christina also gave some longer interviews to various oulets, including New York Magazine (you can read the full NY Mag piece here), and here are some highlights:
On her supporting part in Drive: ?To be honest, the real reason I did Drive was because of Nicolas Winding Refn, the director. I had seen Bronson and I was floored by it, and I said, “I want to work with this guy. I don’t care what it is.” And this is a smaller role, but I just wanted to be part of what he was doing, and it’s an instrumental role, and I think it’s really different than anything else I’ve ever done, and an opportunity to work with Ryan [Gosling] … there were so many reasons to do it. And I love that I actually have these coming out on the same night, on the opposite end of the spectrum of movies, both enjoyable in completely different ways.?
On Nicolas Refn wanting her for Wonder Woman: ?Sure! I grew up on the TV show, and I had Wonder Woman Underoos, and my brother had a Wonder Woman doll ? sorry, Aaron, you’re exposed. [Giggles.] And Nicolas said, when we were on set, “I want you to be Wonder Woman.” And I think he is such an extraordinary and exceptional director, that if he asked me to do it, I would do it in a heartbeat.?
Joss Whedon wants her for Wonder Woman too: ?I’d like to think that Joss would have cast me! I also loved working with Joss [on Firefly]. I’m excited to see what he does with The Avengers. Hopefully the stars would align [for Wonder Woman]. It would be really fun. It would be cool, wouldn’t it? I’d get to kick ass.
Christina on her Emmy chances: ?I?m not preparing a speech. There are some pretty extraordinary actresses in that category. I hate to say it, but I think it might be a long shot. But I?m super excited ? especially since the show is nominated, too.?
On her husband: “My husband does so much to help me, and I do as much to help him as possible. If one day he’s off from work, he’ll help me to do something ? and vice versa. We’ve been doing a lot of traveling and different jobs and going back and forth. I don’t freak myself out if something doesn’t happen.”
She?s not ready to have a baby: “At least not any time soon. I feel busy enough right now.”
More on her husband: Geoffrey Arend, 33, is “an amazing cook,” Hendricks said, so she’s trying to stop feeling guilty when he takes care of the groceries. “You don’t have to feel guilty about it. And sometimes, [he] really enjoys it! I think he’s surpassed me now in his culinary talents.”

I?m not sure if I want to see Christina do Wonder Woman. I?ve gone back and forth on it, considering people have been talking about it for a while. At first I thought it was a great idea, but?? I?d kind of like to see a brunette do Wonder Woman. Oh, and there are even more quotes from even more interviews:
By the way, don?t you love how it seems like Geoffrey Arend is the Nerd King of All because he landed Christina? He?s doing everything to make her happy - cooking, running errands, rearranging schedules. He adores her. Just as it should be.

Stepping out for a swanky evening, Christina Hendricks and Jennifer Hudson were both spotted at SELF Magazine?s 4th Annual Woman Doing Good Awards last night (September 13).
The ?Mad Men? starlet and the ?American Idol? alum both looked fabulous as they posed for the paparazzi at the IAC Building in New York City and mingled with fellow guests such as Jessica Szohr.
And it sounds like Ms. Hudson has scored another gig on a singing competition- she?s going to be a guest mentor on ?Majors & Minors,? The Hub?s new reality competition for young performers.
Jennifer will be joined by fellow ?Idol? peeps Jordin Sparks and Adam Lambert, as well as Black Eyed Pea will.i.am.

Heading out for a day of promotional duties, Christina Hendricks was spotted arriving at "The Early Show? in New York City on Tuesday (September 13).
The ?Body of Proof? babe looked lovely in heels and a trench coat as she made her way inside the CBS Studios, posing with a fortunate doorman along the way.
The visit comes as Miss Hendricks is currently promoting ?I Don?t Know How She Does It,? a comedy film which hits theaters this Friday, September 16.
The funny flick centers around Kate Reddy (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) who is a finance executive and breadwinner for her husband and two kids.
