Shopping the holiday away in the City of Lights, Vanessa Hudgens spent part of her Valentine's Day (February 14) at a Chanel boutique in Paris, France.
Looking chic in a black cardigan, ruffle-laden top, white trousers and platform booties, the "Journey 2" actress quickly made her exit out of the store while toting her pricey new purchase by the nearby paps.
Meanwhile, Ms. Hudgens recently dished about a much less glamorous time in her life, recalling her two week long stay at a homeless shelter to prep for a movie role.
"For 'Gimme Shelter,' my character ends up at this pregnant, homeless teen shelter that's actually ran in New Jersey by a woman and I actually went and stayed in the shelter for two weeks before I started filming, so I mean like, I lived there with all the girls, with all the kids, so I think that it's really interesting because you find so much more about yourself," Vanessa told Rachel Ray in an interview.
The 23-year-old star also dished about cropping her coif for the role, telling Ray, "I actually cut my own hair for this movie, I did that to myself, yes I did."

Hitting the red carpet in the City of Lights, Vanessa Hudgens was back in promotional mode for the "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" premiere in Paris on Sunday (February 12).
The 23-year-old brunette beauty joined alongside co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Luis Guzman while warmly greeting their avid French fans before heading inside the UGC Cine Cite Bercy theatre to screen their action/adventure film.
Directed by Brad Peyton, the family-friendly flick sees "Sean Anderson partner with his mom's boyfriend on a mission to find his grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island."
Also starring Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine and Kristin Davis, "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" has already hit Stateside theaters while it will be released in France on Wednesday, February 15th.

Making the most of the New York Fashion Week festivities, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted at the Leila Shams after party last night (February 9).
The ?Sucker Punch? starlet looked fabulous as she hobnobbed with fellow celebrities Camila Alves and Rose McGowan at The Westway as shutterbugs looked on.
Vanessa has been a busy girl as of late, having appeared on ?Late Night with Jimmy Fallon? Wednesday night (February 8) to talk about her new movie ?Journey 2: The Mysterious Island,? and her costar Dwayne ?The Rock? Johnson.
Hudgens gushed, ?I don?t sing in the movie, but The Rock does. For such a big guy, he has such a sweet voice.?

Making another stop on her media blitz, Vanessa Hudgens was one of the guests appearing on this morning's (February 8) episode of "LIVE! with Kelly" in New York City.
The 23-year-old actress joined Miss Ripa to promote her upcoming film "Journey 2: The Mysterioous Island" - which hits theaters this Friday, February 10th.
During her interview, Vanessa dished about how she's heading to Paris to premiere the film on February 12th.
Asked if she can speak French, Hudgens replied, "Very little, I can say, 'Hello, how are you?,'"
Meanwhile, fellow guest Michael Strahan was asked if he knows the language, to which he jokingly answered, "Yes, french fries, french toast, french loaf - that is all the French I speak."
Miss Hudgens then spoke about her past trip to the country, telling, "I was there were with my mother last year and I have this application on my telephone, you write and it translates and says it for you. I did not need to speak French, it speaks for me."

In the mood for some much-deserved downtime, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted out and about in West Hollywood, CA on Friday (February 3).
The casually clad young actress tended to a few errands before being snapped by the paparazzi as she arrived at her mother's house to pay a visit.
The outing comes a day after Miss Hudgens worked the red carpet at Grauman's Chinese Theatre for the Hollywood premiere of her upcoming movie "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island".
During her time at the west coast screening, Vanessa talked about taking the role largely because she got the chance to work with co-star Michael Caine, as she said, "Any chance you get to work with a legend, the legend being Michael Caine, you take it. To be on the same screen as him is such an honor. You've got to work with the greats to learn from the greats."
Offering more reasons for joining the project, the 23-year-old explained, "We filmed it in Hawaii. I was like, `Seriously, you're going to pay me to be in paradise for two months?' So there was that too. Also, I'd never been in a 3-D action film before, so that was another really great draw."

Judging by the trailers for Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, it’ll be a terrible movie. The only saving grace is The Rock is in it and to a lesser extent Vanessa Hudgens. The Rock reprises his role from Witch Mountainwhile Vanessa just runs around and looks pretty. Coincidentally, that’s what my dates do at the end of the night when I drive them to the middle of the desert.

Swinging through the south of the border locale to do a little promotional work, Vanessa Hudgens joined Josh Hutcherson and Dwayne Johnson in Mexico City, Mexico on Friday (january 27).
The good looking trio posed for pictures, offering solo takes and group ops during the session which preceded a scheduled press conference so that Vanessa, Josh and Dwayne could present their upcoming motion picture "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island".
Hitting theaters on February 10th, the action/adventure flick was directed by Brad Peyton while also starring Luis Guzman, Michael Caine and Kristin Davis.
With a brand new trailer having just been released (watch below!), the film sees "Sean Anderson partner with his mom's boyfriend on a mission to find his grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island."
