Jennifer Love Hewitt went to another event with her cute new boyfriend, actor/director Alex Beh. I know I’ve made fun of Hewitt for oversharing in the past and have basically said that her career relies way too much on her personal life. I still believe that, but look at how happy and natural these two look together. They’re like two peas in a pod with their dark messy hair and superwide grins. It’s like they were making out in the limo on the way over. Kaiser is convinced that Hewitt is drunk in these photos (she wrote the title for me) and I’m seeing it in some these squinting photos definitely, but that’s the look of punchdrunk love mixed with a few cocktails. I’m happy for her.
That dress is just too much, though. Her boobs are nearly hanging out and the asymmetrical bodice is bedazzled with random bookmark ribbons and a monochromatic dream catcher as the pice de rsistance. It’s like she was scrapbooking pictures from a wedding and just stuck the supplies on her dress. The cut is so unflattering. It reminds me of a weird white toga thing she wore a couple of years ago, but not as pretty. Hewitt wore this number to a semi-formal charity event for “Virgin Unite and the Eve Branson Foundation,” and wasn’t wildly overdressed, but definitely could have gone with something simpler.
This week’s National Enquirer recounts a story I remembered briefly from last week. Beh admitted recently that he read Hewitt’s The Day I Shot Cupid book cover to cover in order to get tips on how to woo her. It worked out well for him obviously, and may explain why he’s brought her flowers every single day since they started dating.

Despite crashing and burning countless times, Jennifer Love Hewitt is making yet another attempt at finding love. The Daily Mail says:
It seems the actress is now confident enough in her new relationship [with Alex Beh] to go public.
Glowing with happiness, Jennifer walked the red carpet [at the Rock the Kasbah event] last night hand in hand with 27-year-old actor/director.
Well, I certainly hope Mr. Beh isn’t the jealous type, because he’s gonna have to learn to deal with other men in Jennifer’s life. Namely, Ronald McDonald and Colonel Sanders.

Stepping out for a bout of retail therapy, Jennifer Love Hewitt was spotted in West Hollywood, CA on Monday morning (November 8).
The ?Can?t Hardly Wait? babe looked cute and casual in a long dress and flats accessorized with a gray scarf as the paparazzi caught up to her outside Madison boutique.
As previously reported, Love Hewitt is developing a new TV comedy called ?Bad Taste in Men,? which follows an unlucky in love Chicago woman.
Although Jen hasn?t always had the best of luck with love, she told press, "I'm a hopeless romantic. I love love. My middle name is Love. Valentine's Day is my favorite holiday. I want to have a family and children. I am a sucker for every romantic comedy that comes out."

Just a few days ago we heard that Jennifer Love Hewitt was producing two new romantic comedies that she sold to ABC and Fox. She’s also developing a series for Lifetime based on her housewife-turned hooker TV movie, The Client List. Hewitt is keeping busy post-Ghost Whisperer and it sounds like she’s carved out quite a career for herself that doesn’t involve waiting on casting decisions.
Inevitably, though, she’s still talking about her love life. This usually gets her plenty of coverage so you can’t blame her. Hewitt recently did a half marathon and later attended an event with her new boyfriend, an actor-director named Alex Beh. They’ve been dating since July and are both comfortable enough about it to talk to the press. It sounds like Alex is quite the romantic, as he gets Jennifer flowers every day. She also gushed about how she believes in love, and hopes to have a family and children.
?Every single day since I?ve met him, he has bought me flowers,? she said.
?He doesn?t miss a day. It never gets old!?
Jennifer and Alex ? who started dating in July ? recently completed a half-marathon together!

Hewitt reminds me so much of Jessica Simpson. On one side they’re smart businesswoman who are doing extremely well on their own. On the other they seem to idealize men and relationships to the point where they think the right one will solve all their issues. Life is not like a romantic comedy and the cute dopey guy the girl gets in the end can often end up bugging the shit out of her (and vice versa) after the dopamine wears off. Still, in Hewitt and Simpson’s case it seems like the feeling is mutual with their new guys and that’s sweet. What’s going to happen when Hewitt’s guy forgets the flowers though? Is that going to signal the start of a new “serious” phase in their relationship? That’s usually what happens in the movies, and then they’re driven apart by some contrived situation, only to reunite at the last minute. In the romcoms that Hewitt loves, all conflict is solved by the magic of matrimony.

Well, I?ve been prepared for this. Jennifer Love Hewitt really is an old-fashioned kind of celebrity. She still ?rolls out? a new boyfriend in the oh-so-standard way. First is the ?rumor? that she?s dating someone. Then, the coy confirmation. Then some candid photos of the two of them running errands (?Oh, the paparazzi caught us walking the dog! How cute!?). And then the interviews and more formal red carpet photos. That?s where we are now - Jennifer Love has been dating Alex Beh for several months, and they just did their first red carpet photo op, on the heels of their joint interview talking about how ?in love? they are. Next up: they get engaged, Love gushes in interview after interview for a year, and then the engagement is called off. Rinse and repeat. By the way, I still can?t get over how much this Beh guy looks like John Mayer. Beh and Mayer could be brothers. Love really has a type. Ugh.
But it?s not all repeating the worst dumb patterns! Variety reports that Love is slated to produce several new comedies in the coming year:
Now that she’s no longer whispering to ghosts, Jennifer Love Hewitt has been busy behind the camera developing several TV projects. Through her Fedora Films shingle, Hewitt and production partner A.J. Rinella have set up comedies at ABC and Fox, as well as a series adaptation of her TV film “The Client List” at Lifetime.
At ABC, Hewitt is behind “Bad Taste in Men,” from scribe Austin Weinberg. The single-camera half-hour comedy centers on a Chicago woman who’s been unable to find the right guy and settle down.
Hewitt is exec producing with Rinella, Brillstein Entertainment’s Peter Traugott and Untitled Entertainment’s Dannielle Thomas. ABC Studios, where Fedora has a first-look deal, would produce.
In the case of “The Client List,” Lifetime is looking to develop a fresh take on the TV movie, which starred Hewitt as a Texas housewife who becomes a prostitute. “The Client List” posted Lifetime’s second-highest audience for an original TV movie this year. Jordan Budde (”90210?) will write the series project, which will offer a new take on the idea — originally based on a Texas Monthly magazine article. Hewitt, Rinella, Thomas and Howard Braunstein (whose Jaffe-Braunstein shingle produced the movie) are all exec producers.
Then there’s the untitled comedy project at Fox, which is being written by Tiffany Paulson. Single-camera laffer is a romantic comedy told from the p.o.v. of a career-driven woman. Walt Becker is exec producing with Rinella, Dana Dubois and Walt Becker.
Hewitt will be seen in the Hallmark Hall of Fame movie “The Lost Valentine” opposite Betty White. Telepic will air on CBS in early 2011. Hyperion recently published Hewitt’s book, “The Day I Shot Cupid.”

Wow - it sounds like Love could actually become a pretty successful television producer, and a producer who employs many up-and-coming women behind-the-scenes. Good for her - that?s the kind of feminism I can get behind, even though it sounds like most of the projects are about finding a man and/or being a hooker. Oh, well.

Just last week, Kaiser wrote that she was shocked that Jennifer Love Hewitt had been with her new boyfriend, an actor/director named Alex Beh, all of three months and hadn’t granted an interview about it yet. This is Love Hewitt’s second boyfriend after her high profile split with Jamie Kennedy. She also dated Jenny McCarthy’s ex husband, John Asher, after he had a guest stint on Ghost Whisperer. It looks like Kaiser was right again, because J.Love got Beh to participate in a half marathon with her, during which she had the chance to talk about their relationship. Of course.
UsMagazine.com first reported in July that Jennifer Love Hewitt was dating actor/director Alex Beh — and on Sunday, the two made their first public appearance together, participating in the Dodge Rock ‘n’ Roll Los Angeles Half Marathon.
“We?re crazy!” she joked to Us when asked why they decided to do the race together. “We are really excited about all the charities involved, and we heard the Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon was really fun and just sort of silly and a great way to stay in shape.”
Hewitt, 31, told Us she met Beh “through friends at a dinner party” after splitting with her Ghost Whisperer costar Jamie Kennedy.
What first attracted him? “Her eyes, her beauty,” Beh told Us.
“My running ability!” Hewitt then joked, prompting Beh to add, “Yes, her running ability! It was her eyes, and really, we just laugh the whole time.”
Added Hewitt, “We laugh a lot … he’s hilarious!”
Beh told Us that he has even read her relationship advice book, The Day I Shot Cupid, which Hewitt told Us she wrote because, “Everybody has been writing about my dating life forever. I decided it was time that I actually gave my own opinions on love and dating and all that stuff.”
Beh’s critique? “It?s very informative. I learned all I needed to know. When I first met her, I really was able to just map out all the things to do and not to do.”

Love Hewitt is like Jessica Simpson, but not quite as… dumb. I hate to put it that way, but it’s hard to find another way to describe her. She’s kind of clueless when it comes to what she should tell the press about her relationships, though, and she’s had her moments of oversharing. Still, her relationships last relatively long and she doesn’t have a lot else going on so I can see why she would bring her new boyfriend to an event. She’ll never quite get the fact that it’s better for her to try and keep her business personal. I might be wrong though. She wrote a whole book about dating and managed to squeeze a lot of press out of it.

Getting a little exercise while supporting a good cause, Jennifer Love Hewitt strapped on her running shoes for the Dodge Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon in Los Angeles on Sunday morning (October 24).
With the event taking place at Griffith Park, the former "Ghost Whisperer" actress was joined by new beau Alex Beh as the pair showed off their physical fitness during the lengthy west coast run.
And while she's currently in tip-top shape, Jennifer recently spoke with OK! about dropping the pounds after being criticized following the 2007 fiasco in which she was plastered on websites and mag covers in a set of unflattering bikini photos.
Of her initial efforts to get into shape, she said, ?A couple times I stopped in the middle and burst into tears because I felt like I couldn?t do it. I was torn to shreds physically, mentally and emotionally."
Currently in a healthy state, Love Hewitt spends an hour and a half a day on a mostly cardio routine, while also doing a little weight lifting, partaking in spin classes and keeping a healthy diet.

The ?I Know What You Did Last Summer? actress looked exhausted and in no mood for the paparazzi as she made her way down the street, carrying her trusty Louis Vuitton bag.
Coming up for Love Hewitt? She?s signed on to co-star alongside Betty White in a made-for-TV movie called ?The Lost Valentine.?
The film is based on the novel by James Michael Pratt, and Jennifer will star as a reporter who profiles a woman (played by White) whose husband was declared missing in action during World War II.
