Looking like she was heading to a workout, Amy Adams ventured out in Los Angeles on Thursday (January 24).
The "Master" star sported a gray zip-up sweatshirt, black workout tights, and black sneakers with hot Pink laces as she strolled around the city.
Recently, the 38-year-old actress revealed what it was like to work with her childhood crush, Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie "Catch me If You Can."
Speaking with W magazine, Amy shared, "I had fixated on him in Growing Pains and in Titanic. I was like, 'Oh, my gosh, if I ever work with Leo, it will be wonderful.' And then, there I was, with pigtails - looking not at all like Gisele [Bndchen], whom he was dating at the time. I figured my chances were pretty slim, so I just focused on the work."

| Amy Adams in tight Marchesa at the Golden Globes: too cutesy or beautiful? | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

This is a fashion post for The Golden Globes dedicated to some of the ladies in light-colored mermaid-type dresses that were fitted up top and flared on the bottom. I’m not a fan of the tight on top, poofy skirt silhouette. It can look juvenile, but some women really pulled off the look and others looked a little too cutesy. In the “too cutesy” category we have Amy Adams in Marchesa. The bodice looked very tight and uncomfortable, and the skirt was over-the-top. In the full-length photos she looks like a cake topper. On screen this was slightly prettier, though, and I can see how this dress would be appealing in person. Amy called the color “ballet pink.” Her sideswept curls and deftly-applied makeup gave her look an old Hollywood vibe, but the dress just underwhelmed me.
Hayden Panettiere was more successful in a blush-colored Cavalli. On camera, the lines of sequins on the gown were absolutely beautiful. I love her easy blow-out and her light, colorful makeup. Hayden was dripping in diamonds but they weren’t overdone. This was one of my favorite dresses.
Jessica Alba also looked striking in Pink Oscar de la Renta. There’s something very “pageant” about her dress, and I was surprised that I liked it so much. She carried a dippy fuzzy purse, though. It’s a “Roger Vivier ‘Pochette Prisme Poodle’ clutch.” She was trying to mix it up and not be so serious, but it just detracts from how pretty everything else is. She needs to own that look. It’s nice to see her smile for once.
On camera, I thought Megan Fox was quite lovely in pale Dolce & Gabbana. I remember thinking what a pretty dress it was and how great her makeup looked. In these photos it all looks a little cheap to me though. Maybe it’s the fact that she can’t close her mouth to save her life. What is up with that pose? The lace on the dress doesn’t translate well to photos, and her makeup looks clownish compared to the other actresses. That’s Megan Fox for you. At least she’s no longer comparing herself to men and talking about how insecure she is.
Check out Brian Austin Green’s haircut. He looks like a kid!

Kicking off awards season right, Amy Adams attended the 38th Annual Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards in Century City, CA on Saturday (January 12).
The 38-year-old actress, who was joined by her hubby Darren Le Gallo, looked like a vision in lace as she rocked a strapless Elie Saab number and Tiffany & Co. jewels.
Adding another honor to her already impressive list, Amy took home the award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in "The Master."
Adam's co-star Joaquin Phoenix, who was also in attendance, took home the Best Actor nod for his work in the flick as well.

| Amy Adams in Vionnet at the Critics' Choice Awards: gorgeous or boring' | Added 11 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

This is a fashion post for last night’s Critics’ Choice Awards. We’ll be bringing you more fashion throughout the morning along with news of the winners. (Here’s a link to a list of all the winners.) Here we have the lovely Amy Adams, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress, which went to Anne Hathaway. Boo. Those two will also go head to head at The Academy Awards, and while I don’t think Amy will take home the Oscar, I don’t want it to go to Hathaway. Maybe Sally Field will be triumphant in that category. Field already has two Oscars for Best Actress, and I’d love to see her get a Best Supporting.
In terms of Amy Adam’s dress, she’s a knockout. She’s wearing a designer I haven’t heard of (not that I’m a fashion person anyway), Vionnet. Some of you may think this is a snooze but I absolutely love it. It’s a very classic-looking gown with some careful risks, like the deep draped neckline and barely asymmetric peplum. Amy’s understated hair and makeup are perfection. She almost always impresses me on the red carpet.
Octavia Spencer was a presenter, but the Oscar-winner wasn’t nominated for anything this year. Her dress is of course Tadashi Shoji, her go-to designer last awards season. This is a look we’ve seen on her before and while it’s very pretty I’d like to see her mix it up. (I wrote all that before I saw that Red Carpet Fashion Awards said the same thing!) I was a little distracted by Octavia’s bangs last night, they cover a lot of her face. I’d like to see that trend die. Her makeup and hair are otherwise lovely and striking though. I’m wondering why we haven’t seen more of Octavia. She did a couple of movies last year that we barely heard about and has a handful in the can, so maybe 2013 will be her year.
Melissa Leo is also no longer on the high she was at awards season the past two years, but she’s working incredibly steadily, judging from her imdb. Here she gets it very wrong in a weird sparkly ill-fitting copper and black dress. She’s paired it with black tights, which is the glaring error here, and witchy shoes. I’ll say something nice – I like her hair and makeup.
And I’m just adding Jaime King in here for the hell of it. She’s a definite contrast to the talented ladies above. She’s on “Hart of Dixie,” a guilty pleasure of mine, and her acting is atrocious. She’s very pretty and willing to take fashion risks, though, and she gets a lot of red carpet invites. Jamie is in Jason Wu and this dress is amazing. I normally don’t like sheer skirts, but this one is modest enough and I love the small square print overlay and that fab belt. This is a very sexy look.

Holding on tight to her little one's hand, Amy Adams picked up Aviana from ballet in Studio City, California on Wednesday (January 9).
The "Master" star looked cute in a beige sweater, Pink pants, and brown Uggs as she carefully made her way through the parking garage with her 2-year-old.
Recently, the 38-year-old actress spoke to Britain's InStyle magazine about her low-key style and shy nature.
She tells the mag, "I really admire people like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry who have the freedom to wear such cool looks. I love people who take risks, but I also like to stay true to myself and that's just not me. I think it's great when women make a real statement, but I'm a little self-conscious. I prefer to stay natural, as I hate drawing attention to myself."

| Amy Adams in Oscar de la Renta at Hollywood Film Awards: classic & gorgeous? | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

These some random photos from the Hollywood Film Awards last night in Beverly Hills. I don’t know much about the Hollywood Film Awards, but I guess they’re like a precursor to awards season and honor films that are likely to be recognized, including some which haven’t even come out yet. Judd Apatow was honored for This is 40, which comes out at Christmas. He joked “No one has seen my movie. This is just based on an assumption that it?s good.” You can learn more about the honorees and the event here. We’re going to focus on the fashion and we’re going to just have this single post about it as there weren’t a lot of big (female) names there.
First off we have the lovely Amy Adams in a simple Oscar de la Renta navy cap sleeve gown with a sheer panel at the neckline. (Amy received the Hollywood Supporting Actress award for The Master.) This dress is perfection. Some of you may find it plain, and it is, but look at how well she wears it. You don’t have to be flashy to look elegant and gorgeous. I love her wavy hair and her makeup is perfection. Amy knows how to bring it to the red carpet, and she does so consistently and well. She’s wearing some crazy nude-colored platform heels, but you can’t really see them beneath this long gown. Also, Amy’s husband, actor Darren Le Gallo, was there with her. In some photos he looks uncomfortable but in others he’s smiling.
In contrast, Amanda Seyfried went for the obvious bombshell look in a a scarlet Prabal Gurung with corset white piping along the bodice. It’s a hot dress and Amanda wears it well, but there’s something cliche about the whole look – the red lips, open mouth, 40s hair, etc. I like that she went with gold pumps, that’s a bold choice.
Here’s Marion Cotillard in black and blue velvet Christian Dior. (Marion received the Hollywood Actress Award for Rust and Bone.) The dress is kind of understated and retro, I really like it. With some better styling it would have worked, but I’m getting stuck on the weird horn-like buns in her hair. It could be worse I guess, but that hair is really ruining the look for me. She also could use some jewelry like a necklace or earrings. Like Amy Adams, Marion opted for some metallic shoes. She’s wearing Dior silver pumps. They’re hot and I like them with this dress.
Kerry Washington worked a Monique Lhuilier strapless black and white splatter print dress. I love this gown and find it flattering yet striking. I usually dislike shoes with bows on them, but she makes those work.
Finally, here’s Helen Hunt looking like a dream in a little silver sheath dress paired with silver strappy heels. I would have liked to have seen different shoes with this dress, but overall this is pretty. I’ve been hearing a lot about Helen’s new film with John Hawkes, The Sessions, in which she plays a sex surrogate to a man who suffers from polio. It’s out in limited release now and is bound to get some nominations.

Taking a break from her busy schedule, Amy Adams garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the November 2012 issue of Fairlady magazine.
The 38-year-old actress looked darling for the front page shot while Fairlady compiled a section of interviews where Amy is talking about her new job as a mother.
Noting how her outlook on life has changed over the past two years, Amy told People, "Since having Aviana, I have a muffin top, and that's okay right now. I'm... not one of those women who make [motherhood] look easy. I'm always running late and look - there's guacamole on my purse!"
As for her acting career, "The Master" star said, "I actually love my work more now, because I feel if I'm going to be away from Aviana, I'd better enjoy it. I'm trying to be more present in each moment of my life."
Amy also admitted she's on an "internet ban" telling the Huffington Post, "I have to trust that I can priortise my family and myself while still finding the energy and focus for my work."
