Do you guys remember that Heidi Klum dated Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers? I did not remember that. In fact it’s not even on her Wiki page. Judging from photographs, they dated in 2002 and 2003. Kiedis recently called his time with Heidi “very intense,” he called her “the hottest woman in the world,” and said that their relationship was “one of the most beautiful memories in my life.” He heaped a lot of praise on Heidi and called himself “a selfish ass,” which suggests he screwed it up somehow and still regrets it today.
Back then Heidi was just out of “a broken marriage,” according to Kiedis, which would have been her first marriage, to Ric Pipino, a stylist to whom she was married from 1997 to 2002. After that was Kiedis I guess and then she got pregnant in 2003 by uber-wealthy Italian businessman Flavio Briatore, 23 years her senior. They broke up when Heidi was pregnant, she met Seal right around then and the rest you either about or have lost interest in. So Heidi, 43, has a complicated love life. She’s currently dating a 29 year-old art dealer named Vito Schnabel and they’ve been together about two and a half years by my count. There were other relationships in there I haven’t mentioned, so given Heidi’s history I’m not surprised to hear that she loves being in love but has ruled out marriage. That’s probably for the best. Heidi said this in an interview with People promoting her new lingerie. She also was flattered to hear that Kiedis said so many nice things about her.
?I?m definitely someone who loves life and I love love,? [Heidi] says. Musician Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers recently said that his relationship with Klum was ?one of the most beautiful memories of his life.? When Klum found out, she says she was flattered. ?Obviously, it?s very nice when you still get along with your ex in a way or someone you have dated in the past,? she says. ?And you know, we had a very special time together. I never really thought that anyone knew anything about that. It?s funny that he brings it up after so many years.?
As for current boyfriend Vito Schnabel, 29, she?s thrilled with their relationship. ?I love being in love, like when you have butterflies in your stomach and when you feel great. I celebrate all the romance ? I?m quite old-fashioned that way. I don?t know, I love enjoying life and celebrating the love and being happy.?
Does that mean she?ll consider walking down the aisle again? Not necessarily. ?I?ve done it twice and it didn?t really work out for me, so why hurt something when it?s all good the way it is,? she says. ?I like it the way things are right now.?

Heidi Klum is one of those women who seems to fall in love with being in love and she doesn’t have a type. She doesn’t date just wealthy men, she doesn’t date men who are only older or younger than her, and she doesn’t date only European men (she’s German). Heidi falls for all sorts of guys and she’s a serial monogamist until she meets the next one, whether there’s cheating involved or not. (Seal has said that she was cheating on him with the family’s bodyguard, and that could have been the case because she ended up dating that guy for a while.) I don’t abide cheaters if that’s what was going on but at least she’s self aware enough to know she shouldn’t get married again.

Heidi Klum has actually been dressed decently at a few events over the past few months, although she still gets it wrong about as often as she gets it right. So this piecework Roland Mouret isn’t as terrible as some of the other looks we’ve seen from her, but it looks like someone took fabric scraps and made a dress. I do like how well this is tailored for her but the folding and draping along the top look messy coupled with the same effect on the side of the skirt. These fabrics look random and the pieces aren’t even cut evenly, but maybe I’m missing something.
Michelle Monaghan’s Off White gown makes more sense to me in that there’s a pleated silver panel peeking through and it has a finished bodice and frayed hem. The idea is decent but the top looks too small for her. Those tiny Little Mermaid-type bustlines on dresses look ridiculous.
Here’s Christina Ricci in a black Coach dress with gold beaded piping. I’m trying to figure out when she dyed her hair blonde and I think we first saw it at the SAG Awards earlier this year. I prefer her as a brunette. She seems to have gone blonde for her role in Mothers and Daughters, with Susan Sarandon, which is out already. She’s dirty blonde for her role as Zelda Fitzgerald in Amazon’s Z: The Beginning of Everything, which has a pilot out and was picked up for a full series. Anyway this dress is underwhelming, but I saw some of the detailing in a close up photo she took for Instagram and the top is very vintage looking and pretty.
Olivia Palermo was in a Pink and white Carolina Herrera gown, also with gold piping. I like the idea of this dress better than the execution. It has some interesting design features but it’s just kind of there. Maybe I would like this more if it was fitted. This is Olivia’s husband, German model Johannes Huebl. They’re so attractive together!
Gillian Jacobs was in a Pink and navy Tanya Taylor dress with embroidered flowers across each side. This dress is decent but not great. I don’t like the colors together nor do I think the shoes go but I still love Gillian. Her attitude wins me over. Gillian recently told Larry King that everyone from Community is on board for a movie, if creator Dan Harmon decides to write one. She said “We would all love to do it once he gets around to writing it.” You can see her talking about that here.

Heidi Klum is usually the worst dressed on any given red carpet, often in something so ridiculous it had to be deliberately bad. I’m thinking of the yellow sheer half feather applique, half frayed ruffled mess of a Versace she wore to the Emmys last year. That’s the first dress which comes to mind, but there are many more examples. Surprisingly Versace gave her a more staid gown for this year’s amFAR gala. It’s got a deep v-neck which shows off her bolt-ons and a very high leg slit, but for Heidi this is a win. The necklace falling between her boobs like a floral exclamation point doesn’t even distract from this pretty bright yellow gown. I really like the faux wrap at the waist and the gathered pleats around the bustline.
Mischa Barton is also typically poorly dressed but she’s been killing it at Cannes this year. She may have messed up DWTS but now she’s staging a fashion comeback. She’s in a purple floral sequin Zuhair Murad. Her styling is strange with that Elvis hair emphasizing her forehead, raccoon eyes and cheek contour in desperate need of blending. However that dress is classic and lovely and if you consider her fashion in Cannes as a whole this is a nice addition.
Petra Nemcova is a washed out strawberry in this Georges Chakra salmon and deep Pink gown. There’s something delicious and princessy about this flowy one shoulder number but her styling kind of ruins it. This calls for understated makeup, not a matte burgundy lip. I do like the abstract color wash on the gown but I would like it more in a different color. Plus her posing suggest she hit the minibar while she was getting ready. She’s trying to show us her lips match her shoes.
Natasha Poly cut a striking figure in a sheer and sequin Roberto Cavalli gown. It’s got bell sleeves, there’s a v pointing to her crotch, there are flowers, snakes and little fishnet panels built in and I think it’s fabulous. Holy crap this dress is amazing. I know some people are going to dismiss this as fug but check out how she’s owning this look.

Carine Roitfeld is the former editor of Vogue Paris and she’s in Alexandre Vauthier. Imagine the top half of this dress with just a plain black floor length skirt. It would be ok, right? As it is, this is too complicated and her makeup is too monotone and brown. It’s like she’s trying to go goth and isn’t quite there yet.

These are photos from the Kids’ Choice Awards, held on Saturday night in LA and hosted by Blake Shelton. You can see the list of winners here. For some reason Heidi Klum showed up. She should have brought her boyfriend so she could better relate to the demographic. Heidi was in this blue beaded Versace dress featuring white straps woven through the dress to create stripes. (The black and white Versace which Kerry Washington wore to the Oscars also had these straps woven in and out of the dress.)
I like the contemporary features in the dress but it’s kind of a fug dress overall. There’s too much going on with the woven straps plusthe cutouts and the contrasting colors make it look cheap. This is Heidi Klum though, it could be much worse.
Zendaya was dressed like a classy flapper in Ulyana Sergeenko. I like that Zendaya mixes it up and keeps her looks fresh but this is a miss in my opinion. This dress is too fussy and complicated with that intricately embroidered bodice and all the detailing. Her styling is really pretty but the thick black choker is too much.

The fashion at the amfAR gala in New York last night was a mixed bag. This is our third post on the event and you can see Kaiser’s other coverage here and here. Heidi Klum looked somewhat tacky in this black sequin full length Zuhair Murad gown with a cape, but that’s what we’ve come to expect from her. At least she wasn’t hanging out of it. This is positively demur for Heidi. Without the cape this might be ok and a pretty standard gala dress.
Karolina Kurkova was in this black culotte jumpsuit which I don’t hate. There’s something fun about it, like you just throw it on and go. This is an “I don’t care much” look.
Here’s Uma Thurman in a white fitted gown with puffy sleeves and a rounded v-neck. I really like this on her, it’s classic with some modern twists and her styling is so pretty. Her hair is a little limp but her makeup is perfect for this look. Check out that tennis bracelet.
Hailey Baldwin was also in white, in a Pamela Roland gown with metallic sequin sleeves. The neckline has a scifi touch but the sleeves are too long. In some photos you can’t see her hands but that looks like it’s part of the design. This would look great with different shoes. Her side braid is really cute.
Charli XCX is giving me HELENA BONHAM CARTER vibes in this giant white off the shoulder gown with ruffles. At first I didn’t like this but I think she’s pulling it off somewhat. It’s a bold look.
Jemima Kirke was a mess in this red unforgiving cap sleeve satin gown. She’s wearing platform shoes with it too.
Speaking of red mess here’s Adriana Lima in Marchesa. The top is too low and the lace scalloping around the leg slit gives it a lingerie feel. Plus it has a giant bow on the back! This is a bad prom dress.
Lauren Cohan is fairing slightly better in this red stripe spaghetti strap gown. That’s a very standard kind of dress design but the bold fabric makes it look fresh. Plus I like the slight mesh fabric around the bustline. Walking Dead comes back Sunday. I can’t wait!

Here is Heidi Klum stripping off for Galore, she confessed that she is ‘pretty shy’ and sometimes even hyperventilates before taping her live TV show.
Klum shows off her enviable figure and killer facials (she is a model, after all) in various shots for the publication, ranging from an over-the-shoulder back shot to casually hanging out in pants and a bra.
All of this only makes it that much clearer that the German bombshell is gorgeous, and luckily, Klum explains that she fortunately never fell into the mindset of feeling bad about her body, like some other models in the industry have.

At 42 years old, Heidi Klum is literally hotter than ever and there?s proof on the front page of Galore magazine?s latest issue.
The gorgeous German goddess strips down to her bra and panties for the photo spread, explaining that she?s thankfully never fallen into the trap of feeling bad about her body.
Klum shared, "Of course, I was sent away from castings, or rejected many times, and there was always criticism. I came to America from Germany in the ?90s with big boobs and a big smile?that wasn't what was in at the time. I struggled, but I was never depressed. I thought, if they want me, then they want me, and if not, then they don't. I always thought, there must be a job I can do as a healthy woman, or I'll just go home. I always had my head on in the right place, in that way. I guess it's also because I wasn't as young as the girls these days. I was around 19 years old when I started modeling?the girls today get started super young."

Heidi Klum covers Redbook’s November issue. The way they styled her looks pretty budget, but I have to say that this is how I dress most of the time. She’s practically wearing my fall uniform: skinny jeans, booties and a slouchy sweater. Also, I own several variations of that blue dress. So Heidi looks accessible-ish, which is probably what they were going for. Plus whatever a stylist puts Heidi in is going to be better than the sh*t she wears on the red carpet.
Heidi’s interview is interesting in that she throws a lot of shade on men, and some subtle shade on her ex husband, Seal. Heidi has been dating a guy who barely passes the “half your age plus 7? rule so maybe he’s skewing her opinion on the gender. She seems to be trying to make the point that men can’t multitask as well as women, which is technically true but not to the extent she’s claiming.
Heidi Klum on how her body has changed after having four kids:
?Would it be nice if my skin and body still looked the way it did when I was 25? Sure. But the fact is, your body changes when you have children; you get wrinkles as you get older. I like that I have laugh lines from smiling too much.?
On balancing her crazy life:
?Women are capable of juggling a lot of balls ? we do things that guys just cannot do. Men typically can juggle only one ball, and even then they?re like, ?I?m confused. Should I put it in my right or left hand?? A lot of them have a very hard time just trying to figure out what to do with that one ball. And often they want us to hold that one too!?
On what life has been like since she separated with Seal:
?Obviously things have changed, but they haven?t changed drastically. [Seal] was never your typical dad who left for work in the morning with his briefcase and would be home by dinnertime every night. He traveled a lot. The kids knew it was part of his job. I?m a mom and a dad at the same time.?
The former Victoria?s Secret model and founder of Heidi Klum Intimates on the power of good lingerie:
?You walk a little differently [in something sexy] versus knowing you wouldn?t want anyone to see you in your underwear. I call those willpower panties. You wear them so you won?t show them to anyone.?

Heidi is so full of sh*t about Seal. She used to do interviews claiming that they spent their days in their home office on other sides of the same desk and that he was a great present dad. (Although at that time they had one nanny for every kid.) She said, in 2007 “My husband and I have an office in the corner of the house,” she adds. “We sit on either side of this big partner desk, which is an old French antique, and spend the day working, or talking, or watch the children playing by the pool. It is quite a beautiful life.” Except when Seal wasn’t around, which is when she started screwing her bodyguard.

Always up to something glamorous, Heidi Klum is featured on the front page of the November 2015 issue of Redbook magazine.
Sporting a Michael Kors Collection ensemble teamed with Georg Jensen earrings and rings by Rio Tinto, the German goddess also sports offerings from Christian Louboutin, Demy Lee and Sarah Flint throughout her photo spread.
