I?m kind of over Shia Labeouf. I used to like him in an inappropriate cougar way, and fantasize that someday his dirtlip would tickle my thighs. Not so much anymore. Nowadays, he?s just kind of gross to me. Anyway, Shia appears on today?s Ellen, and she asked him about the February incident where Shia probably got his ass handed to him in a drunken bar fight. Radar?s sources - mostly people in the bar when the beat down happened - claimed that while Shia didn?t really start the fight, he was being a drunken ass in general, and that kind of behavior is nothing new.
Nobody wants a beef with Shia Labeouf!
The Transformers star stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday and explained what happened during the infamous February 2010 bar fight that landed him in handcuffs.
“I walked out to have a cigarette. I was away with some friends. Some guys instigated me and that’s what it was. Some name calling,” LaBeouf, 24, said. “I didn’t know them.”
“It was just an awkward situation,” he lamented. “I’m not trying to challenge anybody either? People get drunk, people get crazy.”
No charges were filed, and LaBeouf isn’t too worried about his public image.
“The only opinion that really counts for me, and I don’t care how cheesy it sounds, my mother’s opinion is very — it’s a serious deal for me,” he said. “It’s really the only honest opinion I feel I truly have and the only opinion that matters in my life.”

Ah, another shout-out to the sexiest woman in the world, his mom. I actually like when Shia talks about his mom. He really does adore her. As for his explanation of the bar fight? eh. I?ll buy it. Shia isn?t trying to make himself out to be some ?pity poor me? victim, he makes it sound like everybody was drunk and making bad decisions, but the other guy started it, which I believe.
Also: how coked up with Shia in that video? He?s always been a fast-talker, but that is just ridiculous.

Charlie Sheen has his share of supporters, for whatever reason. Charlie claims that he?s got the support of people like Sean Penn, who grew up with Charlie, and Mel Gibson, who is radioactive at this point. Charlie also has a significant amount of general ?dude? support, in my opinion. There are some men out there who look at Charlie and they see a dude living on his terms, living the good life with porn stars and cocaine and guns and buckets of money. One of those dudes: Shia Labeouf, at least according to the National Enquirer.
Shia Labeouf?s partying is so out of control that alarmed Hollywood insiders are jokingly calling him the ?new Charlie Sheen.? But incredibly, Shia loves the comparison to the drugging, womanizing Sheen.
?Shia?s personal life is getting weirder and weirder,? an insider told The Enquirer. ?He wants to make his mark as a two-fisted drinker and ladies? man, just like Charlie. It?s got to the point where people started calling him ?Charlie Junior? after his role in Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps and his own fast-lane lifestyle.?
Charlie and Shia became close when Charlie did a cameo with Shia in the film.
?They talk several times a week. Shia looks up to Charlie as a mentor and asks for advice about practically everything,? another source told The Enquirer. ?Shia admires that Charlie isn?t affected by what anyone else thinks.?
Astonishingly, Shia boasted: ?I?m the new Charlie Sheen,? say sources. ?There?s no doubt Shia has become drawn to Charlie?s lifestyle? he?s even talking about getting some investors together to buy the Playboy mansion. Shia?s become Charlie?s biggest fan!?

Now, Shia is a troubled young man - I think even he would admit that. He drinks too much, he picks fights, he seems like a touchy, angry little guy. It wouldn?t surprise me at all if Shia thought that there was nothing wrong with the way Charlie was behaving, or maybe even flat-out admiring Charlie. BUT - I don?t believe the crux of this story. I don?t believe that Shia calls Charlie up and asks for his advice, or that Shia proudly declares that he?s new Charlie. What do I know, though? According to lots of sources, all Shia does these days is sit around bars, getting loaded. Maybe he is claiming to be the new Charlie. Ugh.

Much like CB, I am a big fan of Matt Damon in anything, especially the Bourne series. Jason Bourne is likely one of the most important characters Matt Damon has ever and will ever play - the movies made Matt bankable, and they helped make him one of the most in-demand actors today. Plus, you know, the Bourne movies are just really, really good. Solid action-thrillers with good acting and enough plot twists and tension to keep the audiences in their seats.
You would think that Matt?s loyalty to the series and the character would ensure that he would be doing Bourne movies from the old folks? home, but not so much. Matt pulled his support for a fourth Bourne film after Paul Greengrass (who directed Supremacy and Ultimatum) left. After Matt left, producers scrambled, trying to find a new actor to play Bourne is what I?m guessing will be some kind of ?reboot?. The latest name to float to the top is none other than Shia Labeouf.
Shia Labeouf is the latest high-profile actor to be mentioned in connection with Universal Pictures’ The Bourne Legacy. We reported last night that actors such as Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, Garrett Hedlund, Taylor Kitsch, and Kellan Lutz are also being considered to take over the role of Jason Bourne.
The Bourne Legacy producer Frank Marshall previously worked with Shia Labeouf on the 2008 blockbuster Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It seems a decision hasn’t been made yet on who will become the new Jason Bourne, although Shia Labeouf appears to be one of the leading candidates. Our report from last night indicates that the producers are seeking actors in their mid-20s to early-30s for the lead role.
Tony Gilroy will direct from his own script, and the production is said to start sometime this spring, assuming they sign a lead actor in the very near future. Not much is known about the story of The Bourne Legacy, although it is believed there will be an opening for Matt Damon to return as Jason Bourne in future installments.
The Bourne Legacy comes to theaters August 3rd, 2012. The film is directed by Tony Gilroy.

Anyway, regarding Shia: eh. I actually think Shia is one of the best young actors working today, and I truly wish that he didn?t come across as such a douche in some interviews and various encounters. I think Shia could do well with the emotional center of the Bourne films, but I?m not sure about the action. I guess he?s pegged as an action guy because of those Transformers movies, though. Whatever.

Showing off a brand new look, Shia Labeouf rocked a slick new shaved-sides hairdo while out in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (February 12).
The "Transformers" stud also happened to be accompanied by an unidentified lady friend - as the pair held hands while walking to lunch at Sweet Bread Cafe.
The sighting comes just after it was announced that Shia has dropped out of a new action comedy project from writer Matt Drake.
Being replaced by Zac Efron, Producer Albert Berger confirmed the news that LaBeouf is no longer attached to star in "The Necessary Death Of Charlie Countryman".

Fresh from a wild weekend, Shia Labeouf was spotted picking up a frozen treat from Robeks Juice in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday (February 8).
The ?Transformers? hunk dressed in a casual ensemble as he went about his day, trying to ignore the nearby shutterbugs.
As for his brawl over the weekend, where witnesses say he was punched in the face, the actor seems he may be laying low for awhile.
The tavern owner told press, ?The boys were out drinking, boys had too much to drink, one guy comments to the other and the next thing you know someone gets punched. Whattya gonna do? It happens.?

Fresh off of his bar brawl, Shia Labeouf was spotted leaving a studio in Los Angeles, California on Monday afternoon (February 7).
The "Transformers" actor was sporting a bit of a bruised face which resulted of the bar fight the actor was involved in on Saturday, February 5th.
As previously reported, LaBeouf was put in handcuffs after getting into a scuffle at Mad Bull's Tavern, but he was not officially arrested
Mad Bull's owner Richard Disisto told press of the incident, "The boys were out drinking, boys had too much to drink, one guy comments to the other and the next thing you know someone gets punched. Whattya gonna do? It happens."

Shia Labeouf not only plays irritating, cocky little shits on the big screen, he also happens to be one in real life. TMZ elaborates,
Shia Labeouf has been a constant irritation at an L.A. sports bar recently — with patrons complaining about his drunken, violent behavior … even before a fight left him in handcuffs this weekend.
TMZ spoke with sources connected to Mad Bull’s Tavern in Sherman Oaks, CA — who tell us, the actor has been hanging around a lot lately … but, “Every time Shia comes to the bar, he’s a problem and it’s starting to get old.”
We’re told Shia was the instigator in another testosterone-fueled incident just a few weeks ago — in which bar staff had to break up close to 15 people before an intense pushing match turned into an all-out brawl.
As for Shia’s fight this weekend, Mad Bull’s owner Richard Disisto tells us, “The boys were out drinking, boys had too much to drink, one guy comments to the other and the next thing you know someone gets punched. Whattya gonna do? It happens.”
You’d be looking to get your head kicked in too if your acting style consisted of running around yelling “Nonononono!”, blinking rapidly and stuttering like a retard with Tourette’s.

There have been moments when I have really liked Shia Labeouf. He has moments where he seems like a really cool guy - he gives good interviews, he?s really nice to his fans, and he?s actually one of the most talented actors of his generation. However, I?m really starting to get the feeling that he?s got an inner, raging douchebag yearning to break free. Little things - rude comments, immaturity, rumors about his disrespectful behavior to ex-girlfriend Carey Mulligan. I don?t know? I?ve kind of gone off of him. Anyway, I?m not sure how this story falls into my mixed Shia emotions, but it doesn?t sound good. Apparently, Shia was at a bar, and he either got cold-cocked by some dude who didn?t like Shia?s behavior, OR he got jumped for no reason?? Eh.
Shia Labeouf was placed in handcuffs after a fight at a bar last night, but was eventually released … TMZ has learned.
It all went down at Mad Bulls Tavern in Sherman Oaks, CA. Sources at the bar tell TMZ, Shia is a frequent patron of the establishment. According to witnesses, he got a little rowdy and ended up getting punched in the face.
Sources close to Shia paint a different story — they say Shia was jumped on his way out of the bar. They say police arrived on scene shortly thereafter, cuffed everyone involved, and eventually let Shia go. Police have no record of any arrests being made.
Sources close to the actor say the security guard at the bar backed up Shia’s version of events.

I?m trying to think if I?ve ever gotten into a bar fight. I really did have to sit here for a second and try to remember! That?s not good, is it? I?ve gotten into little fights and big confrontations at parties, but not at a bar. One time I was talking smack about this girl at a party, and she overheard me and we almost came to blows, but my friend got in the middle. Ah, good times. So? what?s the verdict? Do we take Shia?s version of events at face value? My guess is that Shia was probably acting like an ass, but that the guy who hit him was probably over-reacting. Just because a kid has a smart-ass mouth, doesn?t mean you should engage him, you know?
UPDATE: Ugh, this story got more complicated. According to Radar, Shia was at his regular bar, Mad Bull?s Tavern, with ?about 14 of his friends?. Shia had been at the bar for several hours when he and this dude got into it. Then, according to witnesses, ?The guy was laughing at Shia and called Shia ‘a f**king fagot’. Shia shot back that he was going to ‘kick is f**king ass’. Shia then lunged but the other guy got the first punch in. He hit Shia hard in the face and split his lip.? A cop saw what went down and called for backup, and Shia and the dude were both handcuffed and asked if they wanted to press charges against each other, and both declined. The witness that Radar spoke to, Dee, says the bar staff calls Shia ?the Unibomber? because he?s always got his hood up and glasses on, and Dee says Shia?s friends are “a bunch of a**holes. They are all in their early 20s and get loaded with him. [Shia] wasn’t jumped. The last time I saw him in there was three weeks ago and he was wasted, he started a fight and it turned into a group fight with 20 people involved. I don’t think the police came then. I got the hell out of there, it was nothing but trouble. Everyone was partying.” Ugh. Sounds like a pretty typical drunken bar fight.

The ?Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps? stud looked pretty buff, though he was hiding behind a beard as well as a mop of unkempt hair.
Shia has been busy working on the latest ?Transformers? flick, and he?s also found a new lady with whom to spend his time.
Rumored to be a stylist from Los Angeles, Shia?s current main squeeze is likely helping him forget his lost love Carey Mulligan.

It?s one of the most anticipated movies of 2011, and the first trailer for ?Transformers: Dark of the Moon? has been released.
One of the first aspects of the clip to be noticed is that there?s no sign of Shia Labeouf or his hot new costar Rosie Huntington Whiteley.
That being said, the trailer doesn?t lack at all when it comes to creating excitement for the film, as it begins with the great lunar landing back in 1969.
It looks like Michael Bay has done it yet again, and ?Transformers: Dark of the Moon? will be a massive hit when it comes to theaters on July 1, 2011.
