Her life is never boring, and Lauren Conrad appeared on ?Access Hollywood Live? today to promote her new book ?The Fame Game.?
The former ?Laguna Beach? babe chatted about her latest release as well as her fashion empire and even her dating situation.
While she admitted to being ?in a relationship,? Lauren played it cool when divulging exactly what she meant.
?I don?t know, I mean I?m so busy right now. Honestly I?m in a relationship with my novels, and I?m so happy with it. I?m always open [to relationships], but I?m not really looking, if that makes sense.?

Pushing forth with her press efforts, Lauren Conrad changed up outfitsas she traveled from New York City to Ridgewood, New Jersey on Wednesday (April 4).
The former "Hills" star could be seen walking into a building in tight leather pants, flats and a brown sweater only to walk out moments later in a beautiful multicolored maxi dress and sky high pumps that she wore to another book signing at Bookends.
After Lauren kicked off the day with a five hour satellite media tour, she revealed the day of press duties were nowhere near over by tweeting, "Excited for my signing at Bookends in Ridgewood, NJ for #TheFameGame tonight!"
Miss Conrad's new book, "The Fame Game," hit store shelves on Tuesday (April 3) and she held her first book signing at Barnes and Noble in NYC, after which she took to Twitter to thank everyone who came out, messaging, "It was such a great way to kick off the tour!"

Promoting her latest literary offering, Lauren Conrad was spotted at a book signing for "The Fame Game" at Barnes & Noble in New York City on Tuesday (April 3).
The former "Hills" hottie wore an adorable grey flower printed dress with bright red nails and nude pumps as she held up a copy of the fifth tome of her series about the highs and low of being a celebrity.
Lauren's book chronicles a drama queen who stars on a reality show and, when asked by GLAMOUR in a recent interview if the book reflects her experiences in Hollywood, she replied, "Yes, definitely. I knew people who called the paparazzi on themselves! Their point of view is 'They?re going to photograph me anyway, and this way I get paid half of what they make.' I could never bring myself to do it, but it was kind of fun to write it from that point of view."
Although most assume reality stars don't really do anything, that couldn't be further from the truth when it comes to Miss Conrad. When asked if she felt she had to prove herself, the 26-year-old replied, "I did, and it was very frustrating because I almost wanted to send critics my weekly schedule and say, 'This is my ?nothing.?' I would film all day, and then I had several other businesses on the side: In the last season I was running a clothing line and writing a novel. I work really, really hard."

Ringing in her special day in style, Lauren Conrad celebrated her birthday at Hyde at Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday night (February 10).
The now 26-year-old former star of "The Hills" looked beautiful in blue as she tweeted prior to the fete, "Almost time to celebrate my birthday at @HydeBellagio."
Partygoers sipped on Belvedere vodka cocktails while dancing the night away to the sounds of DJ 88 and Devin Lucien.
Prior to the Sin City fete, a busy LC was spotted tending to last-minute errands as she was wearing striking red pants and a striped top while collecting her dry cleaning in West Hollywood.

Taking care of her daily to-do list, Lauren Conrad was spotted out and about in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon (January 18).
Toting a bouquet of freshly cut flowers in her arms, the former ?Laguna Beach? starlet ran errands and looked great doing it in a peach sweater along with a floral printed dress.
Over the weekend, Lauren seemed to be especially interested in ?Glee? stud Matthew Morrison while attending the InStyle Golden Globes bash.
And while they were flirty for about 20 minutes, an onlooker shared that Lauren and Matthew were quickly distracted from each other when a group of friends and fans approached Morrison for photos.

Bringing a delicious end to her busy day, Lauren Conrad was spotted having dinner at Katsuya restaurant in Hollywood last night (January 10).
Joined by a mystery male, the ?Laguna Beach? babe looked beautiful and appeared to be having a marvelous time as she made her exit.
During a recent night out at Beacher?s Madhouse in Hollywood, Lauren ran into her ex-boyfriend Derek Hough, and it went really well.
The two ex-lovers had a friendly conversation, with Conrad acting ?giddy? as she gave him a huge hug. One onlooker told press, ?It didn?t appear like they were rekindling anything romantically.?

I put the link to some of these photos in yesterday?s afternoon links, but as I look more closely at the photos, I really get more and more disturbed. What the hell did Lauren Conrad do to herself? I used to think LC was pretty, in a non-descript, ?the American Kate Middleton? kind of way. Seriously, imagine LC with a dark brunette shade and big, fluffy curls. Duchess Kate, right? They have the same face, although thankfully, LC doesn?t wear raccoon eye makeup. LC does, however, play with Botox. That?s my only explanation for this waxy, puffy look to her once pretty face.
Don?t yell at me, okay? Don?t start in, ?You shouldn?t be saying that, you don?t know, maybe she?s just retaining water? or my favorite, ?She looks the same.? No. Look at how her face used to look one year ago:

Puffy. Waxy. Botoxy. Kardashian-like. She?s 25 years old! There?s no reason for this. Stop the madness, LC. I get that she?s went through a major breakup a few months ago (she split with Kyle Howard because it wasn?t going anywhere), but she?s been out and about, dating up a storm - she had a fling with Derek Hough (meh) and now she?s making out with Chace Crawford. That?s not the best, but she could certainly do worse, and at least she?s out there. Now she just needs to stop with whatever is going on with her face.

And of course the ?Laguna Beach? babe was dressed to impress, sporting a white blazer, white top, and black leather trousers as she posed outside the Belasco Theatre.
Meanwhile, Lauren?s LC Lauren Conrad clothing line has helped Kohl?s Department Stores on top of the retail game in the USA.
Kohl?s topped Nordstrom, Macy?s, and JC Penney thanks to their user-friendly, price-friendly selections, and Conrad has a huge part of that.

She?s no stranger to travel, and last night (November 6) Lauren Conrad was spotted at LAX International Airport.
The former ?Hills? starlet looked to be in good spirits as she made her arrival, sporting a colorful top, black top, and black jacket.
And it sounds like Lauren is back to playing the field after her brief romance with Derek Hough has run its course.
An insider told press, ?Their relationship reached its peak. It was always casual. She had fun with Derek - he used to send her cute texts and sing to her - but she always kept her options open. This was a rebound that wasn't going to last. Derek never thought it would, either.?

Grabbing a front row seat while enjoying a night of runway action, Lauren Conrad was among the stars turning up for The 2nd Annual Autumn Party in West Hollywood on Wednesday night (October 26).
Held at The London Hotel, the former "Hills" star watched on as models strutted their stuff during a fashion show by Yigal Azrouel which was held in benefit of the Children's Institute.
Miss Conrad's evening on the town comes just as she announced plans to release a fourth novel on April 3, 2012 called ?The Fame Game?.
Of the latest literary work, LC shared, "The tone is going to be slightly darker. The first book was written through the eyes of someone who had never been to Hollywood before, who never really aspired toward fame or money. This series is about a girl who loves everything that fame is, and that's all she's ever really wanted."
