After giving birth to her second daughter, Seraphina Affleck, only two weeks ago, the “Juno” actress already looks in amazing shape and back in the swing of things as she ran errands throughout the day.

Fitting in a little sisterly bonding time, Jennifer Garner teamed up with her big sis for a visit to the hospital in Santa Monica on Tuesday (January 27).
The Garner gals, who look strikingly similar, chatted as they walked and talked prior to Jen’s scheduled post-baby doctor’s checkup.

It has been quite an adjustment adding another baby to the family, and last night Ben Affleck, Jennifer Garner, and Violet took a baby break, leaving newborn Seraphina Rose at home when they went out to dinner.
The “Changing Lanes” stud and his “Catch and Release” gal enjoyed making their three-year-old the center of attention while they dined at Blue Plate in Santa Monica, California.

I?ve always thought it was a little weird that Alias co-stars Jennifer Garner and Victor Garber are so close. He seems to be something of a mentor/surrogate father/best friend to Garner, he one of the few friends that The Garner-Affleck?s invited to their wedding, and he often gives quotes to the press on their behalf. So, of course, Garber chimed in about the newest addition to the family Affleck, little Seraphina Rose Elizabeth. Garber also announced to OK! that he?s going to meet the baby very soon - he?s now like a surrogate grandfather!
Jennifer Garner?s former Alias co-star and close friend Victor Garber will finally be seeing the actress’ new baby today!
The Juno star and husband Ben Affleck, who just had baby daughter Seraphina Rose on Jan. 6, have invited Victor to see the newborn, he said at the NBC party on Thursday night.
?I?m going to see the baby tomorrow,? Victor, who officiated the couple’s 2005 wedding in the Caribbean, revealed to OK! ?I?m very excited. I can?t wait to hold that baby.?
Victor cherishes his friendship with Jen and Ben: ?I talk to them all the time. It?s a wonderful time for them and I am so delighted to be with the children of people I love.?

It?s a pleasant surprise that Garber and Garner are truly this close, but it seems like an unconventional way to handle the media. Maybe Garner and Affleck feel more comfortable announcing things through Garber, maybe they think it seems friendlier or more like a family. Anyhoo, I really hope the little girl gets the nickname ?Sera? rather than ?Phina?. That sounds better, doesn?t it? Victor Garber will meet little Sera soon.

I know you all have been holding your collective breath waiting to hear Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s baby’s name. People had the exclusive news:
A week after their second daughter’s birth, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have announced her name, Garner’s reps tell PEOPLE exclusively.
It is Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck.
The baby was born Jan. 6 in Los Angeles. Garner and Affleck, both 36, are also parents to daughter Violet, 3.
While no explanation was offered for the name, or if she was named for anyone, one Web site specializing in the origin of names refers to Seraphina as “derived from the Biblical word ’seraphim,’ which was Hebrew in origin and meant ‘fiery ones.’ “
Well, they could have done a lot worse. If they call her Sera that won’t be weird at all. They could’ve named her the feminine form ‘Kin-tan-tee’, whatever that would be.

Looking as if she’s already begun to shed her baby weight, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were spotted out house hunting in Los Angeles on Wednesday (January 14).
The cute (and tired) couple dropped off their eldest daughter Violet at school earlier in the day, with Jen staying in the car while her “Good Will Hunting” hubby toted Violet in for her classes.

Everyone has been waiting with baited breath to hear what Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck named their second kid (not really). People bet that it was going to be either lame or stupid. Turns out, Garner and Affleck went with the latter. The new kid’s name is Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck. Which is great. All people should have three first names.
According to one website specializing in names, Seraphina may have been “derived from the Biblical word ’seraphim,’ which was Hebrew in origina and meant ‘fiery one.’” According to another website, Seraphina may be derived from the Patron Saint of retarded people. And yet another website who knows nothing about names, says it’s derived from that stripper who gave them a handjob last Saturday. By the way, that last website was mine if you couldn’t figure it out.
