Making her book-promoting rounds in the Big Apple, Jenny McCarthy was a ray of sunshine as she strolled about New York City on Wednesday (September 29).
The former Playboy beauty was paying a visit to the Wendy Williams show as she continues to boost interest in her new book "Love, Lust and Faking It: The Naked Truth About Sex, Lies and True Romance".
And while she's not shy in giving details in the new literary offering, Jenny wasn't about to bring up her recently fizzled romance with actor Jim Carrey.
She tells People magazine, "I just have to respect his privacy. There were broken hearts on both sides."
Not all for the worst, Miss McCarthy adds, "What I got out of that relationship was a lot about self-love. It's about being happy."

I still cannot get over how jacked Jenny McCarthy looks in these photos. When I first saw them, I thought it was my imagination, like ?Oh, it?s just because her hair is weird? or ?maybe it?s just a little Botox? - but she really looked crazy at this Las Vegas event. It?s made me wonder, actually. Remember when Jenny and Jim Carrey split up this past April, and a week later every tabloid was saying that it was because Jim went off his meds? Now I just think that Jenny might be the crazy one, honestly. If she steps out of the house thinking she looks awesome like this, she might have some problems. And to go along with her jacked face, she also has a winning, suspiciously positive attitude:
After parting ways with Jim Carrey four months ago, Jenny McCarthy says she’s still single — and loving it!
“I’m enjoying it tremendously!” McCarthy, 37, told UsMagazine.com of single life at Saturday’s 4th Annual Midsummer Night’s Dream at Palms Pool & Bungalows in Las Vegas.
Her proof: “Look at me in this outfit,” she said of her super-skimpy, cleavage-bearing outfit. “Would I not be hitting this? Come on.”
She added of the daring look: “I have one more year to pull off an outfit like this, so I better hit it while it’s hot.”
As her L.A. house undergoes renovations, McCarthy moved to Sin City from Los Angeles about a month ago with Evan, her 8-year-old son with ex-husband John Asher. “I really love it,” she says of the Nevada gambling capitol. “I was never really a fan of Los Angeles. Coming out [to Las Vegas] believe it or not, I feel more peaceful.”
How does she entertain her little boy in the city? “Evan has seen every single show and he’s gone to every casino, every arcade,” she said. “There really is only so much you can do with a kid.”

Holy crap, she?s only 37 years old? I thought she was? much older. She really was older, wasn?t she? She shaved her age down at some point, I?m sure. Let me do a little research? no, apparently she?s turning ?38? in November. Hmpf. Maybe I was confused because of the Botox? I swear to God, ladies, nothing ages you faster than Botox. Instead of just having some laugh lines and wrinkles, suddenly your ?Toxed face looks like the puffy, waxy, jacked version of your old face.

Everyone was surprised when she broke up with Jim Carrey earlier this year, but Jenny McCarthy says she?s having a blast being single.
The former ?Singled Out? hostess told press life as a single lady definitely has its advantages and she?s milking it for all it?s worth.
Ms. McCarthy explained, ?I?m enjoying it tremendously,? as she pranced around the 4th Annual Midsummer Night?s Dream at Palms Pool & Bungalows recently.
Having temporarily relocated to Las Vegas, Jenny added that her new digs are awesome. "I really love it. I was never really a fan of Los Angeles. Coming out [to Las Vegas] believe it or not, I feel more peaceful."

Looking fabulous at 37-years-old, Jenny McCarthy showed off her fit figure while at The Palms Pool & Bungalows inside The Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday night (August 14).
Wearing a sexy all-white ensemble, the former Playboy playmate tended to hosting duties at the 4th annual Midsummer Night's Dream soiree.
During the course of the night, "Entourage" star Kevin Dillon happened to be celebrating his birthday (a bit early) - as he was presented a key to The Playboy Club from Palms nightlife leader J-Roc and a few Playboy Bunnies.
Joined by Victor Rasuk of "How to Make It in America," Dillon was also doted with a Playboy-themed cake as Miss McCarthy led the group in singing "Happy Birthday" to the HBO actor.

Moving on with her love life, Jenny McCarthy was spotted leaving Katsuya restaurant in Los Angeles, CA on Friday night (May 14).
Fresh off of her break-up with Jim Carrey last month, the former Playboy babe was spotted holding hands with her younger beau after a tasty Japanese dinner.
Not taking things slowly since parting ways with Carrey, Ms McCarthy partied it up in Las Vegas earlier in the week and was caught making out with an unidentified male pal.
Of the kiss, the comedian tweeted, ?Yes, I kissed a mystery man in Vegas. Everyone wants to know who he is or what his name is? So would I.?

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for former Playmate Jenny McCarthy — first she and her long-time boyfriend Jim Carrey broke up, and now she’s closing the school she founded for autistic children. Star Magazine says
“Jenny and her partner at the each 2Talk Academy, Sarah Scheflen, had different visions for the school and made a decision to go their separate ways,” Jenny’s rep said. “Both intend to continue on in this important mission.”
I assume “Jenny and her partner had different visions for the school” means that her partner wanted to utilize legitimate and scientifically sound approaches to educating autistic children, while Jenny wanted to implement whatever the unicorn sliding down the magic rainbow told her. I can see how it’d be kind of hard to base a curriculum around your completely unfounded conspiracy theories. That’s probably why crazy homeless people never write textbooks.

I suppose this is the way you announce this sort of thing in 2010. This afternoon, comic actor Jim Carrey Tweeted his split with Jenny McCarthy, saying ?Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I?m grateful 4 the many blessings we?ve shared and I wish her the very best! S?okay! ?;^>.?
McCarthy confirmed the breakup a few minutes later, adding, ?Im so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart.? This comes as something of a shock, since the pair seemed totally happy together when Jim?s daughter Jane gave him a grandchild in February.

He may be a young 47, but Jim Carrey is now a Grandpa to his daughter’s new baby boy.
Jane Carrey and husband Alex Santana welcome their first child, son Jackson Riley Santan, at 12:28 am on Friday in Los Angeles, CA.
Tweeting about the new arrival, the proud new granddad posted a baby pic and wrote, “Jackson Riley Santana, My Grandson, Born today! This is what 7lbs.11oz. of Calfornia dynomite looks like!”
Back in July, the “Dumb and Dumber” actor said of his daughter, “Jane is going to be a great mom.”

Out promoting her new flick, Jenny McCarthy attended a party hosted by ABC on Monday afternoon (December 7) in New York City.
The 37-year-old actress donned a Santa costume and happily posed for pictures before making a speech at the “Elf Party” in support of her movie “Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe & 25 Days of Christmas” held at Bryant Park.
Starring alongside Tori Spelling’s husband, Dean McDermott, Jenny reprises her role as Mary Class, Santa’s business-minded daughter, and helps to save Christmas.
“Santa Baby 2” will premiere on Sunday, December 13, 2009 as part of ABC Family’s annual “25 Days of Christmas” programming event.
