Do you remember when you last thought Jenny McCarthy was hot? That was back in the 90s wasn’t it? So in that respect her new Playboy cover, where she’s clutching her breasts while wearing throwback fingerless fishnet gloves, is fitting. Too harsh? I concede that McCarthy is superficially hot, until she opens her mouth. She’s really been annoying me lately by trashing her ex boyfriend for not visiting her kid, who isn’t even his. You heard that story, I’m not getting into it again. She claimed earlier that she grew out “a bush” for the shoot, which honestly made me want to see it. Luckily the photos aren’t yet available online or I may have given in and bought the magazine on Zinio. Here’s what Jenny told People about it:
Just months away from hitting the big 4-0, Jenny McCarthy proves she’s still got it.
The host of NBC’s Love in the Wild appears in her seventh nude pictorial for Playboy in the July/August issue that hits newsstands Friday, and PEOPLE has a sneak peek.
“I’m really proud of it,” McCarthy tells PEOPLE. “The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They could be out of W magazine. They’re really elegant. It’s probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you’d see of people with their clothes on.”
Prepping for the shoot didn’t take much effort for the TV personality.
“The one thing I like about Playboy is they don’t have the anorexic look,” she says. “The women are voluptuous. So I didn’t really want to diet. I just wanted to tone up.”

Well she’s got to pay her bills somehow, since Jim Carrey didn’t give her $50 million or $25 million when they split. He probably gave her something, though, but in Jenny’s mind it wasn’t enough to stop her from talking smack about him when she needed some publicity.
Playboy has a few head shots online and they actually look pretty, prettier than this cheesy image. Really, when were these type of gloves ever hot? I associate them with eighth grade, Madonna and Desperately Seeking Susan. I guess Playboy knew which demographic they were going for when putting Jenny on the cover. Too harsh? It’s not her age, which is very close to mine, it’s her.

Trying to get as much publicty as she can for her new showLove in theWildon NBC, Jenny McCarthy recounted the time she sent a naked picture of herself to her son’s 80-year-old dentist.
She explained, “It’s horrific to remember. Evan woke up and said, ‘There’s this weird thing on my gum.’ …So I called the dentist and said, ‘This is insane’. He said, ‘Take a picture of it and send it to me.’
“So I’m taking a picture of it and I’m sending it to the dentist and I sent him a nude on accident (sic)! I swear to God! The dentist is, like, 80 years old. I literally screamed at the top of my lungs.”
“Accident,” right. Listen, no matter how many nude photos of yourself you text to your dentist and no matter how many times he acts coy by texting back, “Please, stop!,” you’re not going to get a discount on that teeth cleaning.

Jenny McCarthy was a guest on the Wendy Williams show recently. Their publicist sent us a link to her video interview (above) and I was struck by how botoxed she is. Her face barely moves at all when she talks. I rely on The Soup to keep me up to date with Wendy Williams’ show, but whenever I see it I’m impressed with how much dirt Wendy is able to dig. She asks people the questions directly from the tabloids, and I admire that about her.
When Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy were dating (they lasted five years, from 2005-2010), there was a rumor that Jim gave Jenny $50 million in a trust for her son, Evan. (Again, Evan is not Jim’s biological son at all, he’s from Jenny’s first marriage.) Around the time that they broke up, there was another story that seems to have originated in Star Magazine (I know) that Jim gave Jenny $25 million, $5 million for each year that they were together. On Wendy’s show, Jenny denied that Carrey gave her $50 million or $25 million but she never said outright that he didn’t give her a chunk of money when they broke up. She also complained about how hard it is to be a single mom, and told a dumb story about how she sent a nude photo of herself to her son’s dentist:

Evan is doing amazing. He was undiagnosed from having autism, clinically which is incredible. He’s not the only one, there’s thousands of kids that get better. It was a long journey. He’s the love of my live. I’ve been suffering a lot from working mom syndrome. I’ve probably cried ten times in the past week. I saw a tarot card lady and I was like (fake crying) “I’m a terrible mother.” As a single mom I’m the only breadwinner. I’ve been trying to balance work and being a supermom. It’s been hard on me.
On if Jim Carrey gave her 50 million when they broke up
That’s not true. I’m barely living in a van down by the river. (SNL reference.) I did not get 50 million dollars. I didn’t get 25 million dollars. I went into it going “I’m going in with is mine and his is his” and I’ve always been a really strong independent woman and get back on my feet after being kicked… you know. I’ve done it all on my own. I did not want to participate.
How she texted a nude photo of herself to her son’s dentist
So Evan had this… abscess just sticking out from his gum and I’m like “OMG that’s disgusting.” So I called the dentist… and he’s like “take a picture of it and send it to me…” I sent him a nude by accident. I swear to God. I was like with my boyfriend… Can you imagine? The guy is like 80 years old.
On if she’s planning for another kid
I want to give Evan all my attention, because I am a single mom. I think, this uterus is closed.

I wanted to have a macho guy. I was sick of having guys wanting to borrow my makeup.

The part where she bitched about being a single mom really rubbed me the wrong way. I’m sure she’s a hands-on mom and she tries to do a lot for her son, but she’s not earning any fans by complaining about it. The woman is not hurting for money or help at home I’m sure. She tried to make a reference to Chris Farley’s famous SNL bit by claiming that she’s “barely living in a van down by the river,” but give me a break. Also, I don’t mean to split hairs but she never said specifically that Jim Carrey didn’t give her any money. She sounded cagey to me about it. She just said she didn’t get 50 or 25 million and then added that she’s “done it all on my own.” If he didn’t give her something after they split up, why didn’t she say that?
Also, I hope she made up that ridiculous story about texting a nude photo of herself to her son’s elderly dentist. That’s just dumb.

Yesterday we covered the story that Jenny McCarthy had called out Jim Carrey for not visiting her 10 year-old son, Evan, after their breakup two years ago. Jenny and Jim dated from 2005 to 2010, and Jim and Evan were close, according to Jenny. She expressed disappointment on Howard Stern’s show that Jim hadn’t reached out to Evan since they split, despite the fact that Evan isn’t Jim’s biological son. Jenny also admitted that she hadn’t personally contacted Jim, but claimed she had gone through “channels” to try and ask him to see Evan. The overwhelming consensus was that this was a dick move by Jenny, and she never should have gone public with this information. It was potentially damaging to her son, whom she claims has autism. (Which she supposedly healed through diet and alternative therapies. That’s a whole ‘nother discussion.) Jenny admitted that Evan asks about Jim just about every week, and that he’s in therapy to try and deal with his separation from him. It seemed like a violation of her son’s privacy, and Jim Carrey agrees. In a brief public statement about this, Jim put the smackdown on Jenny for potentially hurting her son. I really like what he had to say about this.
Jim Carrey is defending himself after ex-girlfriend Jenny McCarthy accused him of abandoning her autistic son, Evan, and forcing the 10-year-old to go to therapy.
?I will always do what I believe is in the best interest of Evan?s well being,? Carrey said in a statement released by his publicist to ABCNews.com today. ?It?s unfortunate that Evan?s privacy is not being considered. I love Evan very much and will miss him always.?
McCarthy, who dated Carrey for more than five years, opened up about her struggles with Evan on Howard Stern?s radio show Monday. ?I?ve tried to ask [Carrey] numerous times [to see Evan], because my son still asks,? McCarthy said, adding that Evan tells her he misses Carrey ?almost weekly.?
McCarthy said that while she doesn?t communicate with the comedian directly, she?s gone through ?channels? to convince him to reconnect with her son.
?As a mother, you just hope when you have a relationship with someone, it has nothing to do with the child when you break up,? she said. ?I tell [Evan] that someday you?ll cross paths, meet again ? [but] it?s hard. He?s been in therapy. It?s a process, he?s working on it.?

That was sweet what he said about loving Evan. We don’t know what happened between Jim and Jenny, but rumor has it that Jim was having mental health issues and Jenny called it quits because of that. She told Oprah that their relationship was no longer “fun,” and explained that “The first thing is, when it?s not fun anymore, you need to start investigating and do an inquiry into the relationship.” So it sounds like she pulled the plug, but it’s hard to tell. So their split was complicated, and Jim probably didn’t want to confuse Evan by continuing to come around after Jenny rejected him. Plus, if he were still visiting Evan once every couple of weeks or once every month or so, wouldn’t Jenny complain about that? Wouldn’t it be potentially more damaging to the boy? It’s hard to tell. Again, this isn’t his biological son and he and Jenny weren’t married.
Radar online has another take on this, one that many of you share. They quote a “source” who claims she’s doing it for attention of course. “She?s got a new show to promote, seems a little too convienant that she?s talking about this now. They?ve been broken up for over two years and sometimes it is hard to stay close to children after a breakup.”
Jenny told Oprah in 2010 that her identity “wasn?t caught up [in] being a celebrity?s girlfriend” and called herself a “warrior mom.” Well she’s certainly able to bring up her ex celebrity boyfriend, and forget the best interests of her son, where publicity is concerned.

Big, important news today — former Playmate of the Year Jenny McCarthy will be putting her puss back on display for the jerk-off mag that made her a household name back in the nineties. That ought to cure her kid’s autism right there. Star Pulse says:
Jenny McCarthy is baring all again for Playboy one more time as she prepares to celebrate her 40th birthday in November.
The model and actress kicked off her career with a Playboy pictorial in 1993 and went on to become that year’s Playmate of the Year. She has returned for spreads in the men’s magazine over the years and… will now appear naked in the July 2012 issue of the magazine.
Playboy is so damn heavy-handed with the airbrushing that the only way you’ll be able to distinguish whether the naked pictures you’re looking at are of Jenny McCarthy at age 24 or Jenny McCarthy at age 40 is by the amount of pubic hair she’s sporting. She’s got enough growth in the ’93 pictures to actually cast a pubic hair shadow. So the more hair you see, the younger she is in the photo. It’s sorta like counting rings on a tree, except way sexier.

To celebrate her 40th birthday, Jenny McCarthy will be reliving her youth by once again appearing in Playboy. Her first pictorial in 1993 earned her Playmate of the Year. Her next pictorial in July 2012 will earn her a lot of awkward conversations with her kid’s friend’s parents. “So… uh… how’s it going? Um… still have that idiotic belief that vaccinations lead to autism? Er, I mean, nice tits?”
The impetus for asking Jenny to go on one last run before she retires her breasts was Hugh Hefner hearing Jenny saying she wanted to do it again before she turns 40.”I would absolutely pose for Playboy. I would be so flattered if they asked me. It’s probably not going to happen but I think I want to do it again.” Also because Playboy is going down the drain and Hugh Hefner has no idea what kids like these days. “Pogs? Are those still a thing?,” he asked one of his 20-year-old girlfriends who just giggled the way only a person who gave up on life could giggle.
Anyway, a 39-year-old Jenny McCarthy is going nude in Playboy again. Aren’t you excited? I’ve been waiting for this day for like never.

Kaiser covered the bigger names at last night’s American Music Awards, but here we have some more fashion for you. To start there’s Jenny McCarthy in purple Victoria Beckham. I would like this dress with some sexy strappy heels, but those booties are too informal for the red carpet. I really like her hair, that sideswept look is so pretty. Jenny’s makeup is a little severe, but it’s not terrible.
Audrina Patridge still working it like it’s 2006. She has a killer body but that’s a dress for Vegas, not an awards show. Look at her ridiculous stripper heels!
Here’s Julie Bowen getting it wrong again in a sparkly stripe tube dress. Her legs look great, I’ll give her that, but she’s looking gaunt otherwise, and that hair! It’s too messy looking.

Ready for one of the biggest nights in the music world, Jenny McCarthy made her arrival to the 2011 American Music Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (November 20).
Turning up at the Nokia Theatre LA Live venue, the former Playboy babe looked pretty in purple as she worked her way down the red carpet and inside for the night's ceremony - which airs live on ABC starting at 8/7c.
As for the show, numerous top acts are lined up for performances including Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Maroon 5 with Christina Aguilera, Nicki Minaj with David Guetta, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift, among others.
Meanwhile, Miss McCarthy is among the many celebrities set to grace the stage and pass out a trophy - as she joins fellow presenters such as Joe Jonas, Matthew Morrison, Heidi Klum, Katherine Heigl, Avril Lavigne, Jane Levy, Selena Gomez and Jennifer Hudson.
