Well, well. I wondered why Taylor Swift suddenly appeared on the covers of Elle and Elle UK for the April issues. I wondered why, because it didn?t seem like Taylor had anything in particular to promote. We all knew that Taylor had been working on new music after her Reputation Tour ended, but no one knew when or how. Going by her past album drops, I was expecting a late summer or early fall album drop, with a glitzy-yet-silent promotional tour. But no, I was wrong. It looks like Taylor wants us to know that she?ll be dropping new music on April 26th, the Friday after Easter.
Taylor changed up her social media (Twitter and Instagram) with new profile pics of a cloudy pink-lavender something or other. Both Twitter and IG have ?4.26? in the description too, and a link to Taylor?s official site, which has a clock counting down until? T-Day, I would assume. Tay Day. Taylor also posted this on Saturday:

Here are just some photos from last night?s iHeart Radio Music Awards. By now, I think we all know that Taylor Swift doesn?t show up for anything unless she?s guaranteed an award. Which means she got the heads up that she was winning some awards at this iHeart thing. So Taylor had time to plan her look, and it was pretty cute, actually. Considering how rarely we see her on red carpets these days, I enjoy seeing the evolution of her style. She went for a very cute and sparkly romper by Rosa Bloom in a lovely shade of violet. She paired the romper with Sophia Webster heels which had butterflies on the heel. I?ve grown used to Taylor?s bangs and I guess I accept at them at this point, but I wish they weren?t quite so thick?
Taylor took home awards for best music video (for ?Delicate,? which she and Joseph Kahn copied from Kenzo and Spike Jonze lmao), Best Tour and Best Fan Army. Jesus, we?re giving awards to the Snake Fam now??? It?s mind-boggling. Taylor did her Taylor thing during her speeches and acted like the most aggrieved woman in the world. Stay fresh, Tay.
Meanwhile, the former Snake Enemy #1 was also in attendance Katy Perry walked the carpet with Zedd, not Orlando Bloom. Zedd and Katy are friendly collaborators and I doubt there?s anything there but business. Taylor was probably chuckling into her bangs trauma about how terrible Katy looked though why in God?s name is Katy doing this to herself? The too-platinum blonde hair, the sh-tty dress. Ugh. Katy was a presenter at the awards show, and she also told Entertainment Tonight that she would be open to collaborating with? Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift has a tortured history with the Golden Globes. She was once nominated, and she lost, and she never loses awards. She turned up to the show once and Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made a few jokes at her expense, which is the first time Taylor had ever been the butt of a joke before and she threw a hissy fit about it for months afterward. But 2019 is a whole new Snake, and Joe Alwyn?s film, The Favourite, is an Oscar contender. So Taylor decided to come out and present a few awards with Idris Elba. She didn?t walk the Globes red carpet, nor does it look like she posed for photos backstage. But she attend the Warner Bros/InStyle post-Globes party and she even walked the carpet!
Taylor stayed in the same curve-hugging Versace gown for all of the night?s activities. This dress is great, and her body looks amazing in it. I think it?s a combination of things she?s gained some weight and it looks wonderful on her. I also think she got her breast implants redone, because they look bigger and less bolted-on now? I also think it?s possible she got butt implants. Still, I feel like Taylor?s hair is throwing off the whole look. The hair says ?country music awards? but the dress says ?Golden Globes presenter.?
We expect wackiness and interesting looks from Janelle Mone at this point. But was I alone in thinking that the main part of her Chanel ensemble was just? a solid look? It was the gold hat that made everything weird. Sans hat, she would have just looked really cute and sophisticated. As for the hat? why is sitting so high on her head? Why am I hungry for Ferrero Rocher now?
Lucy Liu in Galia Lahav. I love her and I love Elementary, and I was sad when she talked about shooting the last episodes of the show. People really should have watched it, it was SO good. Anyway, Lucy just looked bizarre. She?s lightened her hair, and her dress was not great.

It appears that Taylor Swift mixed up Halloween with New Years Eve because here she is dressed up as Ariel from Disney. As you can see her friends who are probably ecstatic to be part of her entourage are in costumes as well. Anyway, it looks like a good time, but I personally like her []

Last night, Taylor Swift definitely won the best dressed at the AMAs. I dont think anyone even came close to something as special as that outfit. Even though she pissed off half her fans with her politics, Im sure even the most right wing male had his pants down. []
