Eva Green covers the June issue of InStyle magazine to promote her psychotically witchy role in Dark Shadows, and she looks amazingly beautiful as always. Again though, Eva’s talking about how inferior she feels in this world, and one gets a sense that she is indeed as insecure as she claims. Of course, it’s hard to believe that anyone who played Vesper Green is shy and socially awkward, but that’s Eva’s shtick, and she’s sticking with it. Perhaps she grew up being teased a lot for her offbeat looks, and this carried over to adulthood. Regardless of her neuroses’ origins, at least Eva’s standing up to being told to lose weight for The Dreamers, which was her first film and one in which she appeared unclothed for a substantial amount of on-screen time. Go Eva! Here are some excerpts:
On looks in Hollywood: “It’s not all about physique and how beautiful you look. In this business actors who have Botox or surgery make you very aware of age. It’s awful. In Los Angeles, I feel like the ugly duckling, like I’m from Venus or something.”
Women get the crappy roles: “It’s so boring to play the girlfriend. Most of the women in film are there to be beautiful to the man. It’s quite hard to find a ballsy or complex character. So the roles I’ve taken are those. Lot’s of people put me in the dark category.”
She won’t diet: “Before my first film, the casting director asked me to lose some weight, saying, ‘On screen you’re going to look much fatter. I started drinking soups and then I was like, ‘I can’t do it, I can’t go on a diet. It’s hell, it makes you very depressed – food is so important to me. I couldn’t go on.’”

As a long-time follower of Eva’s weirdness, I seem to recall that she has a habit of comparing things to Venus. Just last year at Sundance, she described Park City, Utah as follows: “It’s amazing. When you land, you look like you’re on Venus or something; it’s completely mad. It’s beautiful.” By her verbiage, can we infer that she does think that things “from Venus” (such as herself) truly are weirdly beautiful, or does she merely compare feeling alien to being from Venus? I’m overthinking this. All I know is that Eva is absolutely gorgeous and does great in roles where she plays the devastatingly hot freak. She may not get as much work as other actresses, but she’s clearly in a position to make these roles really count.
Now about this InStyle photoshoot. Eva looks perfectly lovely, and for the most part, she is styled quite well here. That cover though … is fug.

| Ewan McGregor & Eva Green are perfectly hot at the 'Perfect Sense' premiere | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

I was drawn in to these UK premiere photos just because I love both Eva Green and Ewan Mcgregor. I don?t expect you to enjoy these photos as much as I do, but for the love of God, please comment on this post if you?d like me to write more about Eva and Ewan and less about the Kardashians.
Eva and Ewan are just so beautiful to me - Eva, much like Helena Bonham Carter, hides her classic beauty behind profoundly odd styles and makeup choices. Ewan is just pretty, traditionally handsome, with some edge. And they?re made a movie together called Perfect Sense. It?s a love story. They make love on film, together. And weird stuff happens, because it?s a love story mixed with sci-fi. The basic plot is: ?A chef and a scientist fall in love as an epidemic begins to rob people of their sensory perceptions.? Ewan is the chef, Eva is the scientist. Here?s the trailer:
Eva?s voiceover is meh - it still would have been haunting and erotic without the voiceover. All I really need to see is Eva and Ewan kissing, and his hand grazing her boob. And is it just me, or does this film look kind of interesting? Like? I?m not sure about the story, but Eva and Ewan look deliciously overwrought here, and I?ll probably watch it just to see them act opposite each other.
So? the premiere photos. Eva always wears these kinds of dresses, and her makeup is always overdone, so my only complaint is about the shoes. They suck, and it looks like she?s about to lose her balance. Ewan just looks gorgeous, though. Sigh? aren?t they better than Kardashians?

Eva Green, who had previously confessed to being insecure about her body, has finally overcome her shyness to pose for her first naked photo shoot. The 29-year-old French actress has shed her inhibitions as well as her clothes, for the latest edition of style bible ‘Tatler’, recreating a classic Seventies portrait of British actress Charlotte Rampling, reported Daily Mail online.Sitting on a polished antique table in front of an ornately gilded mirror, the “Casino Royale” star has only a glass of wine for company as she mimics erotic photographer Helmut Newton’s iconic 1973 image. The photograph for Vogue magazine titled ‘The Sexiest Woman In The World’, firmly sealed Rampling’s reputation as a sex symbol. But Green who shot to international fame playing Vesper Lynd opposite Daniel Craig’s Bond in ‘Casino Royale’, said that she often battles her insecurities about her body.“I felt a bit ill when I saw it. I’m not confident with my body,” said the actress.“I opened a magazine the other day and they called me the worst-dressed person in the world. And I was like, ‘I like that dress’,” said Green.

My favourite Bond babe, Eva Green goes for a dramatic look as she steps out in Paris. Her teal Alberta Ferretti gown, with draped detailing to accentuate the waist and floor-sweeping length, is ever so elegant. But that gothic-inspired makeup gave us quite a fright!
