Kim Kardashian has clearly been doing a lot in recent days/weeks to help Kanye West promote his album Donda. Kim has attended all of the ?listening parties? and she brought the kids too. Kim dressed up in a wedding gown last week and did some performance art with Kanye. She?s also been telling everyone that maybe she and Kanye will get back together, except no, that won?t happen, oh well, whatever keeps her in the media. But with all Kim does to help her estranged husband sell his new album, there?s one thing she will not do: listen to the damn album. Kim decided to post some screencaps of what she was ?listening? to songs from Donda. But check out where the volume was set:
Kim really said ?I support Kanye but I?m not going to listen to this mess.? Kim said ?you can?t pay me to actually listen to Donda.? According to Page Six, Kim deleted the screencaps of the muted songs and reuploaded some new screen grabs where she had the volume turned up. Hilarious. Honestly though, I haven?t listened to any of Kanye?s music since? The Life of Pablo? I stopped listening after Kanye went full MAGA, and honestly, I don?t think I?m missing much?

I?ll admit that I didn?t think Kim Kardashian?s beauty line would be very successful. I thought she was just copying Kylie Jenner?s cosmetics-company model and putting her own ?Kim? spin on it. But KKW Beauty is pretty successful, I guess. Coty bought a 20% stake in KKW Beauty for $200 million, meaning that on paper, KKW Beauty is worth a billion dollars. Personally, I think Kim?s biggest brand is probably Skims, her shapewear and loungewear line, but sure, KKW Beauty is still doing things. Now TMZ reports that KKW Beauty is getting a makeover:
The KKW Beauty brand is getting a makeover shutting down its online operations to re-launch with a totally new look. Sources close to the situation tell TMZ Kim Kardashian Wests brand continues to be immensely successful, and that alone is sufficient enough a reason why its not going anywhere, but some major changes are coming.
Were told the plan is to switch out to new packaging, new formulas and, of course, a new brand identity. Kim said as much with Tuesdays announcement saying the brand will consist of new formulas that are more modern, innovative, and packaged in an elevated and sustainable new look.
There was speculation Kim Ks plans to shut down the KKW Beauty website was a prelude to her dropping West from her name but were told thats not the case, her name has not changed. Were told Kims remaining as involved as ever in the company in conjunction with her new partners over at Coty Inc. As we reported Kims brand hit the billion-dollar mark following a new deal with the cosmetic conglomerate, which forked over $200 million for a 20% stake in KKWs biz.

So wait? is Kim still going to use ?West? professionally? I know it would be a pain in the ass to drop ?West? from her name professionally and privately, but still? I guess that?s the ?brand? though after all, Kris Jenner still uses ?Jenner? (and ?Kardashian? sometimes). Anyway, I wanted to talk about this KKW Beauty rebrand because this little item cropped up in Us Weekly:
Kim Kardashian is getting into the booming home goods business. ?Kim will be ready to announce the first drop of her home line in a couple of weeks,? a source tells Us. Kim is excited about her new venture ?it?s something she?s been working on for over a year now. She?s going to launch several candles, room scents, throws and decorative items to start.?
The source says the second phase of the new project will also include furniture for every room of the house. ?Kim?s design aesthetic is luxe minimalist,? the source says. ?Think lots of neutral colors, with extravagant textures.?

So this was what she was doing instead of studying for the baby bar, which she flunked twice. She was building her Martha Stewart-esque empire of glam-minimalist home goods. How many textured white throw pillows will she sell? How many people want their homes to smell like a Kardashian?

Kim Kardashian has been a tiny bit extra this week with the news about Kanye West and Irina Shayk?s relationship coming out. Apparently, Kanye and Irina (IrinYe for now) have been quietly seeing each other for a couple of months and Kim has known about it before now. Kim wishes them well, she?s glad that Irina is discreet, and oh by the way, how can we make this all about Kim? To be fair to Kim (I don?t know why I do this), some of the press around her this week has been about the end of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In fact, it would not surprise me if Kim was kind of mad that Kanye stole her ?KUWTK finale? thunder. But then again, whenever Kanye is in the news, Kim is too. Which leads to stories like this:
Kim Kardashian is open to finding love again after her split from Kanye West. Since filing for divorce from West earlier this year, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 40, wants to date, a source tells PEOPLE. She doesnt see herself being single for the rest of her life.
Her priorities are her kids and work, but she would love to find a guy to share her life with, the source adds.
West has since moved on with Irina Shayk. The model, 35, shares 4-year-old daughter Lea with ex Bradley Cooper. Shayk and Cooper split in 2019 after four years together. On Thursday, a source told PEOPLE that Kardashian has known about Wests new romance with Shayk for weeks and that it doesnt bother her.
Her only concern is their kids. She wants Kanye to be present and spend as much time with them as possible, the source continued.

That People Mag article isn?t the only update on ?how Kim feels about IrinYe.? Page Six also did a piece where sources insisted that Kim has ?no issues? with IrinYe and ?Kim is fine with it. She just wants him to be happy and healthy. Kim is studying and focused on the kids.? Yeah, she definitely has someone waiting in the wings.

Am I going to use the screencaps of Kim Kardashian?s ?cryface? for a while? Probably. These pics are taken from Keeping Up with the Kardashians? final season, and in the penultimate episode of the reality show, Kim and the family finally introduce the idea that Kim?s marriage to Kanye West has fallen apart. This was filmed last fall, when Kim was telling People Magazine about how much she wanted to leave Kanye. She didn?t actually file for divorce until February of this year, and Kim wants us to know that her ?tears? in KUWTK were just a moment in time and she?s totally fine now.
Kim Kardashian West is moving forward following her split from Kanye West. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star filed for divorce from the rapper in February, following a tumultuous period for the pair that included Wests unsuccessful presidential run, numerous Twitter rants and more public drama. And while it wasnt an easy step to take, a source tells PEOPLE that Kardashian, 40, is at peace with her choice.
Kim is doing great, the source says. She was really struggling around the time she filed for divorce. She was very upset about it and really didnt want to file. She has come a long way since she filed for divorce, though. Shes very happy and convinced that she made the right decision.
The source adds that the pairs children ? daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3, and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm, 2 ? are doing well, and that West sees them often.
Since the divorce filing, Kardashian and the kids have continued to live in the Hidden Hills mansion she shared with West, 43. A source previously told PEOPLE that thats where the reality star plans on staying.
They both agree that the less stress the kids experience, the better. Kanye loves his kids. He wants them to be happy, the source said in March. He doesnt want to fight with Kim about anything.
In April, West requested joint legal and physical custody of the children, according to a legal response filed by Wests attorney and obtained by PEOPLE.

As far as anybody knows, Kanye has mostly been in Wyoming this year, working and not ranting on social media and not trying to get in the news. He?s been a seen a few times in LA, and I assume that he has seen the kids a few times since Kim filed for divorce, although I bet he hasn?t seen them all that much. He really wasn?t spending a lot of time with the kids before she filed either. Anyway, I believe that Kim is fine. I think she was completely ?over? the marriage as early as spring 2020. It just took her the better part of a year to come up with a plan for how she would leave him and not get hit too hard with claims that she was abandoning a man struggling with his poor mental health.

I?m really looking forward to the end of Keeping Up with the Kardashians for one particular reason: when the show ends, hopefully people will stop saying ?they?re just doing such-and-such for the show.? Like, there are full-blown conspiracies that Kim Kardashian?s Paris robbery was some kind of stunt for KUWTK. It was not. That happens time and time again. I?m not saying that the Kardashian-Jenners don?t pull stunts specifically for the show they absolutely do. But they?re not, like, arranging robberies or getting divorces specifically for their dumb reality show.
I bring this up because people also acted like Kim was going to spend the last season of KUWTK bashing Kanye West or that the show would feature intimate scenes of their marriage falling apart. They haven?t shown any of that. The episodes airing right now were filmed in late 2020, as Kim and Kanye continued (as always) to live separate lives, and as Kanye was living full-time in Wyoming. In the penultimate episode of the final season, Kim and her sisters finally introduce the idea that Kim?s marriage is in the crapper:
So the big reveal was footage of Kim crying with her sisters after she and Kanye had a fight, and this is what was said:

Kim is one of the most incredible human beings, literally ever, and she tries to protect their union at all costs, but its hard when you carry that responsibility on your shoulders and I just want her to take care of herself too, Khlo said in her confessional before the episode turned back to her conversation with Kim in Tahoe.
You can always talk to me about whatever, she told Kim.
Theres honestly nothing to talk about, Kim said. I mean, I wont live with the fighting and stuff, like, if it was constant.

All of those claims that Kim would exploit Kanye?s poor mental health and that the final season of KUWTK would feature Kim bashing Kanye endlessly and then this is all they show. Kim calling herself a fking loser because she?s about to go through her third divorce, and Kim crying about how Kanye deserves to be with someone who can support him and his life. Of course this was somewhat ?faked? for the cameras, but once again, it?s fine. This wasn?t some ?Kanye?s the worst, I hate him and here?s why.?

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian in West Hollywood over the weekend. She and her family went out to The Nice Guy to help Kendall Jenner launch her 818 Tequila. Kim wore this camo jumpsuit which looks like it came from 2002, because everything is on a time loop these days. Kim didn?t really have a ?date? for the event, she was just there with her mom and her sisters. We probably won?t see Kim out on a date for a while, or at least that?s what ?sources? claim:
Kim Kardashian may be closing the door on her relationship with Kanye West but shes not ready to open a new one just yet. Despite being the worlds most eligible bachelorette who has garnered the attention of royals and billionaire CEOs since filing for divorce, Kim, 40, is reportedly not ready to date.
Ahead of what would have been the pairs seventh wedding anniversary, a source told Hollywood Life: Shes still not ready to date, but shes in a much better place than she was a year ago.
An insider told the publication that overall shes in a good place and is moving forward with her life but she is still devastated the marriage didnt work out.

The emphasis on being ?not ready to date? actually leads me to believe that we?ll see Kim step out with someone new this summer. It might not be her next husband, but it should be someone fun, someone who will keep her in the headlines this year. Not Van Jones, come on. I doubt it will be someone in the music industry, but hey, you never know. I?m also curious about why Hollywood Life is getting these Kardashian stories? Keeping Up with the Kardashians has always played around with timelines and reorganized the familys ?on-camera? lives to make some kind of narrative. On this week?s episode, Kim talked about failing the ?baby bar exam,? which we knew from the preview clips. We didn?t know why she hadnt taken it again since KUWTK had filmed. Last night?s episode explained why: Kim and her kids got Covid. Which made everyone wonder? exactly when was this filmed again? And people began going back to see what Kim and her family were actually doing at the time. Kim apparently flunked the baby bar at some point last year and then she was trying to retake it in November. On the show, she claimed that Saint had caught the virus in school that month and he infected the whole family and the storyline was ?Saint got Covid, infected everyone and Kim couldn?t study for her second baby bar exam.?
After revealing that she failed her baby bar exam the first time, Kim Kardashian set out studying for her second attempt, but ran into a significant barrier: COVID-19. During Thursdays episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, filmed last November, Kim revealed that son Saint, 5, had contracted COVID and it later spread to her and her daughter North, who turns 8 next month.
So, my little Sainty just tested positive for COVID, Kim told a doctor on the phone during the episode. Hes doing okay, he doesnt really have major symptoms, he just had a bit of a fever.
We test our kids once a week because they go to school and so they have to get tested in order to go to this little pod, so someone at school tested positive and my son was around that, she explained in a confessional. So Saint has COVID, and Im just really worried about him. Hes crying and coughing on me and Im trying to not freak anyone out but now I have to figure out what were going to do, especially with the three other kids.
Kim, 40, also shares son Psalm, 2, and daughter Chicago, 3, with ex Kanye West, who contracted COVID-19 himself earlier in 2020. Kim then told the doctor, North is saying shes feeling sick, and I slept in bed with her last night, she tested negative but Im going to test her again with me on Saturday. The reality star had flown in a friend and attorney, Sam Farkas, to help her study for her upcoming exam, but noted that taking care of my kids obviously comes first.
When she learned that she and North had also tested positive for the virus, Kim continued to study with Sam via video chat, even as production on KUWTK shut down and Kim had to self-shoot for the show.

While it?s perfectly possible that Saint really was Ground Zero for the family infection, this might be a clever editing trick from KUWTK producers. It?s curious, given the incubation period for Covid, that at the very end of October, Kim took dozens of friends and family on a private island vacation and they were all maskless the whole time. Kim swore up and down that everybody got tested prior to the private plane trip and that?s why they could all be maskless and breathing on each other. But? if Kim and her kids had Covid in early or mid November, that trip is why. Not Saint?s school.

The theme of 2021 celebrity gossip is ?let?s redo 2003 and/or 2007.? It?s very strange that we?re still talking about Bennifer and Britney Spears and Travis Barker, I?m just saying. Ever since Travis Barker went public with his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, his ex-wife Shanna Moakler has been doing the most to talk sh-t about Barker and the Kardashians. Moakler has claimed for years and she still claims that Barker and Kim Kardashian hooked up back in the day, and that was one of the reasons why she and Travis divorced, and that?s why his thing with Kourtney is bad. For weeks now, that story has been happening and Kim really hasn?t said much about it. But this week, Kim did an ?ask me anything? on her IG Stories and she denied it.

?Getting my nails done right now and I have time today,? the 40-year-old multi-hyphenate wrote via her Instagram Stories Wednesday evening, closing with ?ask me anything??
Naturally, a fan asked her whether she and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker had ever hooked up, an assertion that Barker?s ex Shanna Moakler made and blamed for the dissolution of her and Barker?s marriage. Aubrey O?Day, of all people, added fuel to the fire with a recently-surfaced quote from her own Instagram from July 2020.

Kim Kardashian is rethinking her goal of being a lawyer. In an exclusive sneak peek at Thursdays Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode on May 27, the mother of four makes a shocking announcement to sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian. So you guys, I did not pass the baby bar, Kim states.
The SKIMS founder explains in a confessional that the structure of her journey to the bar exam looks a little different than that of an average law student. If you are doing law school the way Im doing it, it is a four-year program instead of your typical three-year program, Kim says. And after year one, you have to take the baby bar. This would [be] actually harder, I hear, than the official bar.

Apparently, Kim scored 474 and a passing grade is 560. She can take the baby bar again, and Kim said (in the same IG Stories ama) that ?Unfortunately I havent passed yet, but Im not giving up and Im preparing to take it again soon.? I know everyone loves to clown on her (and she is a clownish herself about some things) but I genuinely like the fact that she?s studying and trying to do this for herself, for her own interests, and to continue her education. I even appreciate that she?s admitting that she failed the test and she needs to retake it. Think about how easy it would be for her to say ?well, I failed this test, so I guess law school is over.?

I never imagined that this week?s gossip would include a story about Kim Kardashian illegally importing ancient Italian art. It?s super-complicated and the basic gist is that while Kim should have known better, she is not the only person who needs to wear this. In 2016, Kim bought $745,882 worth of art and furniture from Axel Vervoordt Gallery in Belgium. Vervoordt is the designer responsible for Kim and Kanye?s bleak, colorless home in LA, and he seemingly sold Kim some pieces of art from his gallery for her home. The problem is that one of the art pieces, the large fragment of an ancient limestone sculpture, was illegally smuggled out of Italy. And now the feds are demanding that Kim forfeit the sculpture because Italy wants it repatriated. So Kim will have to eat that money.
The U.S. government is seeking the forfeiture of an ancient Roman sculpture that celebrity influencer Kim Kardashian was in the process of acquiring after officials determined that it had been illegally smuggled out of Italy. The statue was detained at the U.S. border in 2016 after a logistics company working for Kardashian tried to import it with the wrong documentation. New legal documents have concluded that the work was ?looted, smuggled, and illegally exported,? and Italian authorities have requested its repatriation.
A civil forfeiture action on April 30 in a U.S. district court named Kardashian as the consignee and importer of the ancient limestone sculpture. According to court documents, Kardashian bought the sculpture, known as Fragment of Myron?s Samian Athena (1st ? 2nd century), in 2016 from Axel Vervoordt Gallery in Belgium. (Vervoordt is the art dealer and interior designer responsible for the decoration of Kardashian?s Calabasas mansion.)
The sculpture was detained when it arrived in Los Angeles in May 2016 after authorities were alerted that it might be protected cultural property. As part of a bilateral agreement to crack down on the pillaging of cultural heritage, the U.S. has restricted imports of archeological material originating from Italy. Any importer now needs clear documentation authorizing the importation or other documents such as an affidavit, license, or permit stating that the export was not in violation of the laws of the country of origin. The sculpture arrived as part of a 5.5-ton shipment described as containing 40 antiques, Modern furniture, and decorative objects, valued at $745,882. It was being imported under a U.S. tariff schedule for ?antiques of an age exceeding 100 years,? as opposed to archeological material.
Officials requested provenance details from the logistics company Masterpiece International, which provided the sculpture?s sales invoice to Kardashian, as well as a previous invoice showing that Vervoordt had purchased the work from Galerie Chenel in Paris in 2012.
Suspicions were raised when authorities noticed a discrepancy in the descriptions of the sculpture on the two invoices, with the 2012 statement describing it as ?a large draped statue? with provenance from an ?Old German Collection, bought before 1980,? and the invoice for the 2016 sale to Kardashian describing it as a ?fragment,? and containing handwritten notations indicating it had originated from Italy. A director from Vervoordt?s art history department, Robert Lauwers, had also provided a contradictory statement by way of an unsworn affidavit stating that the sculpture did not originate from Italy.
The sculpture was seized in June 2016 and, the following month, Italy?s task force for the protection of cultural heritage added a new twist by claiming it had seen (and photographed) the confiscated statue at Vervoordt?s gallery booth at TEFAF Maastricht in 2011, well before Vervoordt purportedly purchased it from Galerie Chenel in 2012.
Ollivier Chenel, a director of Galerie Chenel, told Artnet News that the gallery purchased the sculpture from an auction house in Germany in 2010, and that it had previously come from an English estate. He added that the date discrepancy on the invoice could be explained because the statue had been on loan to Vervoordt before it was officially acquired. ?It is very strange that [the complaint does not mention] the German auction house as the information was given to them at the time,? Chenel said. ?I can guarantee you that this sculpture was acquired legally at Hampel Auction house in 2010.?
Axel Vervoordt and representatives for Kim Kardashian did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

This sounds like it was entirely a fk up on Vervoordt?s part, and his gallery didn?t have all of their ducks in a row and the provenance was always complicated/shady. Basically, the sculpture was taken from Italy and it would up in a German or English private collection, then at some point weird that they can?t pinpoint it it was purchased by Galerie Chenel, then it was purchased by Vervoordt, who then sold it to Kim Kardashian. It was Vervoordt?s gallery which screwed up the documentation, which US Customs caught. It sucks that Kim has to forfeit the sculpture but if I was in her position, I would make it about how happy I am that a piece of Italy?s ancient culture is being returned to its homeland. Put a bow on it, eat that money and move on.
