Sometimes, I enjoy how stupidly excessive Kim Kardashian is. She just hit a major milestone in her life and her first instinct was to style herself in Balenciaga (I think?) and grab her crew for a photoshoot in her bathroom, documenting the moment for her social media. She?s insane. Kim posted these photos in celebration of the fact that she has passed California?s ?baby bar exam,? the exam California law students need to pass to merely continue with their legal studies, especially if you?re following Kim?s path of ?reading the law? rather than going to law school. Kim flunked the baby bar three times in two years. I honestly thought she had quietly given up her law school dream, but no. The fourth time was the charm and she finally passed. From her Instagram:

Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back today in the reflection.
For anyone who doesn?t know my law school journey, know this wasn?t easy or handed to me.
I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!! (I did have COVID on the 3rd try w a 104 fever but I?m not making excuses?)
In California, the way I?m studying law you need to take 2 bar exams, this was just the first one but with the harder pass rate. I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route but it was my only option and it feels so so sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals.
A big thank you to @vanjones68 who talked me into going to law school in the first place before introducing me to @jessicajackson and @edyhaney who have brought me along to watch their every move in the court room. I respect them so much and appreciate you both for letting me tag along and ask all of the little questions along the way.
And Bar Bri Law School bar prep- I couldn?t have done it without you guys! Setting me up with professors @sam.arlen.farkas and @chuckshonholtz changed my life. Thank you guys for putting in the hours and teaching me everything I needed to know! 10 hour days, daily 4 hour zooms, our in person practice tests week after week. We did it!
I know my dad would be so proud and he would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now but he would have been my best study partner. I am told he was notorious for making fun of people who didn?t pass on their first attempt like he did, but he would have been my biggest cheerleader!
Bottom line is don?t ever give up even when you are holding on by a thread, you can do it!!!!! Set your mind to it and get it done because it feels soooooo good once you get to the other side!

When Kim announced (in Vogue), years ago, that she was attempting this ?reading the law? thing, I was actually happy for her and pleased about the message she was sending. Anyone can go back to school, anyone can try to improve themselves with education, and education doesn?t stop when you graduate from high school or college. I liked the message Kim was sending about her own self-improvement and goals. Kim had to eat sh-t when she flunked this exam three times. It was a wake-up call for her, because (I think) she believed it would be more of a breeze, or that she would naturally be great at everything. I?m pleased that she didn?t give up and that she kept trying. Congrats to her.

Last Thursday, Kanye ?Ye? West was performing at a concert. Kim Kardashian and some of their kids were there, watching him perform. Kanye said on stage that Kimberly needs to ?run back? to him. It was merely the latest public statement from Ye where he seems to think that he still has a shot at reconciling with Kim. I have no idea what he?s saying or doing behind-the-scenes, but publicly, his vibe is ?badgering his estranged wife to come back.? It?s not even like he?s trying to woo her or be nice to her or work on his own sh-t or show her that he?s changed. He?s just publicly laying this guilt trip on her, that they need to reconcile and she needs to ?come back.? So I?m happy that Kim did this in response:
Kim Kardashian wants to move forward with her life as a legally single woman, and just filed docs to do so in her divorce with Ye TMZ has learned. Kim filed legal docs Friday which if signed off by a judge, will make her officially single. Shes essentially asking the judge to separate issues of child custody and property from marital status. Kim is also asking that her maiden name be restored aka, drop the West.
Its interesting Kims lawyer is disso queen Laura Wasser, who has frequently made similar moves with other celebrity clients, including Dr. Dre and Kelly Clarkson separating marital status from other issues. It allows people to get on with their lives settling other issues for a different day.
Whats especially interesting just hours before Kim filed for a change in her marital status, Ye went on stage at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, and as he sang Runaway he ad-libbed over vocals at the end of the song to say, Run back to me more specifically, Kimberly.
TMZ broke the story, Kims already taken one big step in figuring out the property side of things buying Kanye out of their Hidden Hills Estate for $23 million. But, there are still other property issues that are outstanding. Were told there will not be any dispute over custody they will get joint custody and are committed to co-parenting.

Yes, a lot of celebrity exes are getting dissolutions lately, especially when the divorces are messy and everyone knows it will take a while to complete all of the financial and custodial issues. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie did this too, dissolving their marriage legally and declaring themselves single before the divorce sh-t was worked out. Still, I like that Kim responded to Ye?s bullst this way. I know Kim isn?t anyone?s favorite, but I respect the way she got out of this marriage and I respect how she refuses to be publicly bullied or shamed by Ye into reconciling. She?s managed to keep the peace for the sake of the kids, but otherwise she?s keeps him at arm?s length. Plus, Ye seems very upset that she?s with Pete Davidson.

Are you ready for a Kardashian update? Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have been dating for the past month. They were first seen together over Halloween weekend, then Kim went to New York and she even went to Staten Island for a date night. Pete went to Palm Springs, to Kris Jenner?s house, for his birthday. They?ve gotten more serious in recent weeks and Kim absolutely wants us to know about it. She wants us to know that Pete is just what she needed post-Kanye. Pete apparently calls Kim ?my girl.?
Kim Kardashian West and Pete Davidsons budding romance doesnt seem to be slowing down. After spending more time together in Los Angeles over the weekend, a source tells PEOPLE that Kardashian West is enjoying the ease of her relationship with the Saturday Night Live star, 28, after her split from Kanye West.
Hes exactly what Kim needed after her divorce ? someone to make her laugh and just have a fun time with, the source tells PEOPLE. The end of her marriage was a very dark time for her and Pete has been the best antidote.
The source says Davidson is also making their relationship a priority, taking frequent trips to Los Angles from his home in Staten Island, New York. Hes flying back and forth and spending more time in L.A. when he can to see Kim. Hes so into her and is always my girl this and my girl that, the source says.
But while their relationship appears to be heating up, a second source tells PEOPLE that Davidson hasnt met her kids yet.
She still loves the attention, adds the insider. They have been getting to know each other quickly. Kim likes him more and more.
Over the weekend, the two were spotted holding hands after grabbing dinner together in L.A. A source told PEOPLE that they were both in a great mood during the date night out.
They sat very close to each other and Kim kept giggling, the source said. He was very pleasant and ordered a lot of food for them. They shared several pasta dishes. He had his arm around Kim and they were very flirty. You could tell that Kim had the best time. They very much acted like a couple.

So many celebrity relationships are based on sex or image or promotion or fashion, but Pete and Kim aren?t like that. They eat together, that?s what brings them together. He?s all about carbs and not being on a diet and he?s the kind of guy whos like ?I?m going to order four pasta dishes for the table, eat as much as you want!? He got her to eat pizza in Staten Island, for goodness sake. Plus, he probably makes her laugh. Food and laughter? it could be a lot worse. I thought it was pretty much established by now that Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian are dating, considering we?ve been hearing about their LA, Palm Springs and Staten Island dates for weeks now. Still, we have some kind of confirmation now: Pete and Kim are dating. They are Pim, or Kete, or Davidashian. Page Six didn?t have much more than ?they?re officially dating,? but E! News? sources were chatty:
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are taking their friendship to the next level. A source close to Kim tells E! News the 41-year-old reality star and 28-year-old Saturday Night Live comedian are officially dating: They are really happy and seeing where it goes.
Pete has told her he doesnt want to see anyone else, the source says, noting Kim apparently feels the same. She is telling some people they arent super serious but she isnt seeing anyone else Shes trying to not make a big deal about it but is super into him.
Though the mother-of-four is trying to keep it low-key, the insider says, Kim is smitten over him and its very exciting to her.
Apparently, the beauty mogul feels giddy around the King of Staten Island star, with the source sharing, He makes her laugh the entire time they are together and she is completely enthralled by him.
Kims feelings for Pete were made evident when she brought him to Kris Jenners Palm Springs home, an event that the source describes as a huge deal. The insider notes, Everyone is happy for her.
Though they are currently living on opposite coasts, the source says, They are making the distance work and have plans to continue seeing each other.

I still wonder how much of this is about Kourtney being so loved-up with Travis Barker and Kim?s jealousy of their relationship. I think that?s part of it, but I also think Kim was looking to draw a line under the marriage to Kanye in some way. This thing with Pete is really pissing off Kanye too.
Meanwhile, did y?all know that Kim was part of a successful effort to rescue Afghanistan?s women?s youth development soccer team? She financed and chartered the plane taking 130 people (including 30 teenagers) from Pakistan to the UK. Kim did a very good thing. The refugees are now in quarantine in the UK, and a football club has pledged to help care for them and support them.

At this point, everything I?m learning about Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, I?m learning against my will. We?re being force-fed this romance and I just don?t understand WHY? Kim Kardashian is no longer the reality-show hustler looking to attach herself to a bigger name. She IS the bigger name. She operates companies which are, on paper, worth billions of dollars. She is a huge brand unto herself. Why? Pete Davidson, a fkboi who only dates women for a few months before he gets bored? Anyway, Kim was in New York for much of the past week, and her trip involved several dinner dates with Pete, including one rooftop-pizza date in Staten Island. Well, ?sources? insist to TMZ that all of this Kardavidson mess isn?t just for the Kardashians? new Hulu show.
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidsons late-night date nights in NYC wouldve made for some legendary reality TV but fans expecting to see the new duo on Hulu are SOL because cameras just werent rolling which makes a relationship seem all the more real.
Kim and Pete had the Internet buzzing this week after meeting up twice for dinner, one time with friends and once without. Reports popped up saying everything was being filmed for the Kardashians upcoming project with Hulu, and only being done for publicity for the show. We spoke with production sources who tell us Kim wasnt filmed or followed one time by Hulu cameras during her entire trip to NYC, much less during any encounters with Pete.
Whats more amazing, were told during Kims first dinner date night with Pete, she snuck out of her hotel and made it to Staten Island sans a big security team and absolutely no cameras, not even paparazzi, got her during the escapade. As for Kim and Pete our sources say the relationship isnt serious, but theyre enjoying getting to know each other and having a fun mutual group of friends. And, who knows what else!

A source familiar with the couples date Tuesday at Campania in Staten Island says the two had the rooftop to themselves, and were personally attended to by the restaurants owner whos a friend of Petes. Were told staffers werent allowed upstairs, where the two showed lots of affection.
Then theres this our sources say prior to the group outing at Zero Bond Wednesday night an exclusive club in NYC Pete called ahead with his credit card to cut Kim or anyone else at the table off at the pass.
Reports surfaced Friday saying Kims friends were doubtful she and Pete will last, but were told thats just not true especially given how he fit in Wednesday with some of her closest friends.
As for their SNL encounters, weve confirmed Pete kept it very professional when Kim hosted the show, and didnt make a move until it wrapped.
While things seem to be heating up fast between the two, were told Kim will still take her time before jumping into anything serious. Shes also excited about dating again.

So? while I still think they?re a bizarre couple, it?s not like Kim is out there on her own, trying to make this storyline happen. Clearly, Pete IS interested and he is pursuing her. Like so many things around Kim Kardashian, this Pete Davidson story has followed a familiar pattern: a quick rush of public interest, followed by internet jokes, followed by public ambivalence, followed by Kim flogging the proverbial dead horse until we?re all sick of the story. So it is with Pete. It was just this past weekend that People Magazine magically got exclusive photos of Pete and Kim holding hands on a roller coaster during a double-day in LA. Kim traveled to New York on Monday, where she?s been staying at the Ritz-Carlton. Some wondered why she was still in New York following her Monday night appearance at the WSJ. Innovators event. Turns out, she had another date with Pete. She actually traveled to Staten Island so that they could eat at one of his favorite restaurants.
Kim Kardashian West and Pete Davidson had a secret dinner rendezvous Tuesday night, TMZ has learned. Kim ventured out of the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Manhattan and headed for Petes turf Staten Island. Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ the 2 entered the backdoor of Campania restaurant one of Petes favorites. They presumably chowed down on pizza or pasta the specialty at the joint.

Pete Davidson?s BDE got Kim Kardashian to his native Staten Island. The Skims founder and ?Saturday Night Live? star dined at Campania?s Tuesday night, Page Six confirmed.
?Pete arranged a dinner on the rooftop privately,? a restaurant source told us. ?It was just the two of them.?
Our source also added that they didn?t have any security with them.

Ah, the old in and out. Did he take her back to the house he bought for himself and his mom? Did Kim meet his mom? Anyway, at least he planned out a date and he was trying to impress her with what I suspect was rooftop pizza and maybe some candles. The pictures sparked rumors of a romance between the two, and though a previous source said they are just friends, another notes that the two stars do have chemistry.
Pete can be super charming and Kim loves the attention, the insider tells PEOPLE, adding that theyre having fun together.
The source says that Kardashian West has moved on since filing for divorce from Kanye West.
She is having fun and enjoying life, the source says. Her focus is still on her kids and work, but you can tell that she is ready to date. She is very happy and in a good place. She has moved on from Kanye and feels its for the best.

That?s what I don?t really get why all of these 40-something women act like Pete is this trophy boyfriend or boy-toy. SKIMS is arguably the best company Kim Kardashian ever created. It started out as purely smart shapewear for all body types and all skin colors, but she?s expanded it to sleepwear, loungewear and activewear. SKIMS is already worth more than $1.6 billion on paper, and Kim owns a big chunk of it. Plus, I guess her fragrance and makeup lines are doing well too, but not as well as SKIMS. Anyway, now that Kim has her ?billion-dollar company,? she gets invited to sh-t like the Wall Street Journal?s Innovator Awards. This is the second time she?s been honored by the WSJ, to be fair. That staid old newspaper loves her.
These photos are of Kim heading out to the WSJ Innovators event. Interestingly enough, she?s wearing a piece from the new collaboration between SKIMS and Fendi. So this is a SkimsXFendi leather dress and it is TIGHT. Physically tight, and I?m wonder if it is comfortable at all. Apparently, the dress did break before she got on stage to accept the WSJ Brand Innovator award, and she had to thank Fendi designer Kim Jones for helping her out. Yeah? that?s not a great advertisement for the collaboration, actually. ?Buy SkimsXFendi, the expensive dress is uncomfortably tight and you?ll have a wardrobe malfunction.?
Also: Pete Davidson is back in New York too, and he and Kim just held hands in LA. Page Six got trolled by making a big deal over the fact that Kim flew in to ?Pete Davidson?s native New York? yesterday.

Kim dressed up in a wedding gown last week and did some performance art with Kanye. She?s also been telling everyone that maybe she and Kanye will get back together, except no, that won?t happen, oh well, whatever keeps her in the media. But with all Kim does to help her estranged husband sell his new album, there?s one thing she will not do: listen to the damn album. Kim decided to post some screencaps of what she was ?listening? to songs from Donda. But check out where the volume was set:
Kim really said ?I support Kanye but I?m not going to listen to this mess.? Kim said ?you can?t pay me to actually listen to Donda.? According to Page Six, Kim deleted the screencaps of the muted songs and reuploaded some new screen grabs where she had the volume turned up. Hilarious. Honestly though, I haven?t listened to any of Kanye?s music since? The Life of Pablo? I stopped listening after Kanye went full MAGA, and honestly, I don?t think I?m missing much?

I?ll admit that I didn?t think Kim Kardashian?s beauty line would be very successful. I thought she was just copying Kylie Jenner?s cosmetics-company model and putting her own ?Kim? spin on it. But KKW Beauty is pretty successful, I guess. Coty bought a 20% stake in KKW Beauty for $200 million, meaning that on paper, KKW Beauty is worth a billion dollars. Personally, I think Kim?s biggest brand is probably Skims, her shapewear and loungewear line, but sure, KKW Beauty is still doing things. Now TMZ reports that KKW Beauty is getting a makeover:
The KKW Beauty brand is getting a makeover shutting down its online operations to re-launch with a totally new look. Sources close to the situation tell TMZ Kim Kardashian Wests brand continues to be immensely successful, and that alone is sufficient enough a reason why its not going anywhere, but some major changes are coming.
Were told the plan is to switch out to new packaging, new formulas and, of course, a new brand identity. Kim said as much with Tuesdays announcement saying the brand will consist of new formulas that are more modern, innovative, and packaged in an elevated and sustainable new look.
There was speculation Kim Ks plans to shut down the KKW Beauty website was a prelude to her dropping West from her name but were told thats not the case, her name has not changed. Were told Kims remaining as involved as ever in the company in conjunction with her new partners over at Coty Inc. As we reported Kims brand hit the billion-dollar mark following a new deal with the cosmetic conglomerate, which forked over $200 million for a 20% stake in KKWs biz.

Anyway, I wanted to talk about this KKW Beauty rebrand because this little item cropped up in Us Weekly:
Kim Kardashian is getting into the booming home goods business. ?Kim will be ready to announce the first drop of her home line in a couple of weeks,? a source tells Us. Kim is excited about her new venture ?it?s something she?s been working on for over a year now. She?s going to launch several candles, room scents, throws and decorative items to start.?
The source says the second phase of the new project will also include furniture for every room of the house. ?Kim?s design aesthetic is luxe minimalist,? the source says. ?Think lots of neutral colors, with extravagant textures.?

So this was what she was doing instead of studying for the baby bar, which she flunked twice. She was building her Martha Stewart-esque empire of glam-minimalist home goods. How many textured white throw pillows will she sell? How many people want their homes to smell like a Kardashian?
