Kim Kardashian spent 24 hours in Wyoming this week and apparently, a lot happened during that time. Kim was seen crying in the car with Kanye (as he looked mid-rant), and I think it probably says something about Kanye?s current state that she left so quickly. Kim feels ?exhausted? by Kanye?s current manic episode and ?very hurt? by the things he?s said and done. A source told Page Six this week: ?Kim has known about Kanye?s bipolar disorder all along, and she has worked hard privately to support him and protect him and their kids. But this is the worst episode he has ever had. She fears he may have to hit rock bottom before he finally wakes up and realizes what he has done.? Is this the worst episode? I think it?s the worst in terms of the Kardashian-West marriage, but his episode in 2018, when he was glassy-eyed and ranting in the Oval Office, was a lot worse. Anyway, sources (?sources?) have been pouring their guts out to People Magazine:
When Kim Kardashian West flew to Cody, Wyoming, on Monday to see her husband Kanye West, it wasnt exactly a happy reunion.
This is a very sad time for her, says a source of the reality star, who has been struggling to navigate her marriage amidst Wests recent public outbursts. Shes really upset.
Kim feels trapped, the source says. She loves Kanye and she thinks of him as the love of her life. But she doesnt know what to do.
Indeed, multiple sources say that the six-year union between West, 43, and Kardashian, 39, was under strain even before the recent incidents. Since, things have come close to a breaking point.
Kim was thinking that they need to be apart, says the source of Kardashian, who returned home to Los Angeles on Tuesday. She knows that its not healthy for her to be around him now, and its honestly not healthy for the kids. He needs to get his stuff together before he can be any sort of partner or father. Still, no matter what, Kim wants the best for Kanye, an insider says. And she will always want whats best for him.

I?ve been defending Kim a lot because I really, genuinely feel for her, just as I have a lot of empathy for all of the families who deal day-to-day, week-to-week with mental illness and bipolar disorder. But Kim is not ?trapped.? She is in a bad place, for sure, and I don?t doubt that she?s stressed and upset and emotionally drained. But she?s not trapped she has outlets to vent, she has tons of support from her family, she has an endless amount of resources at her disposal and on and on. Saying that she?s ?trapped? does a disservice to the families out there struggling with similar mental illness issues who don?t have Kim?s access or resources or support.
People Magazine also did a lengthy piece also using ?sources? about Kim discouraging Kanye from running for president. This was also during her whirlwind trip to Wyoming. She apparently told him to ?focus on his mental health instead? of fake-running for president ?but he won?t listen.? Kim ?wants him to get his priorities straight and sources say Kanye hasnt seen the kids for weeks.

Kim Kardashian traveled to Wyoming on Monday to finally see her husband in person. It feels like the worst of Kanye West?s manic episode is over, but I don?t doubt that the ?work? on his album plus his family stress is still very triggering for his bipolar syndrome. As we discussed, this episode felt different from a distance it was the first time Kanye really attacked Kim and her family, and we soon learned that Kim was over it and she is ready to divorce him. Which isn?t to say that she doesn?t care about him she reportedly begged him to see her and accept medical help he kept on refusing. So now it sounds like her arrival in Wyoming was likely Kim?s attempt to force the issue. And that?s why things got so emotional, and why she was seen crying in the car with him.
In photos obtained by the Daily Mail on Monday evening, the pair was seen in an intense conversation upon Kims arrival in Cody, Wyoming ? and the reality star appeared teary-eyed as she spoke with her husband face-to-face for the first time in weeks. A source tells PEOPLE that as soon as Kim got to the ranch, she and Kanye came out together in his car.
Kim is hysterically crying, the source says, adding that Kim hasn?t seen Kanye for weeks. She is very emotional about everything, and also exhausted, the source says. She feels very hurt by Kanye. She has tried to reach him multiple times and he just ignores her. It?s all a bad situation, the source adds. She decided to fly to Cody to speak to him in person. She doesn?t want to be ignored anymore.
A source tells PEOPLE that Kim is making a point to protect their kids ? daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 2, and sons Saint, 4, and Psalm, 14 months ? from their fathers public outbursts. ?She is shielding the kids. All of her family is. They?ve circled around the kids and are insulating them from all of this,? says the source. ?And everyone else has decided to create an atmosphere of normalcy around them. They don?t need to see such a public meltdown,? the source adds.

There was some conversation about what images and storylines are being ?managed? by the Kardashians, because people are really stupid enough to think that the Kardashian-Jenners WANT Kanye out there, making an ass out of himself and pretending to run for president and crying about abortion. I don?t doubt that Kim was partly crying for herself, for the fact that her marriage is not just some glossy Insta-inspo, that she has to deal with some real sh-t. But I also have compassion for her, because I can only imagine how hard it is to have dealt with Kanye?s episodes over the years, and I can only imagine how frustrating it is to have a husband who is incapable of being a full partner in their marriage or a partner in raising their kids. From the looks of the K-J?s social media, Kourtney seems to be the one looking after the Kardashian-West kids at the moment. I think that will ultimately be the reason why Kim leaves because she?ll feel she has to make a choice between putting her energy into her kids versus putting her energy into her husband.
Kim flew back to LA yesterday evening she must have just been in Wyoming for about 24 hours, long enough to check in on Kanye and try to convince him to get more help, only to have him refuse.

Kanye West spent a few weeks in what felt (from the outside looking in) like a manic episode. Last week, his behavior took a new turn though he began criticizing his wife Kim Kardashian, which had never happened before. It felt like something was up. We soon heard from Kardashian ?sources? in articles in TMZ and People Magazine. The basic gist, according to Kardashian sources, is that Kanye and Kim have been in a bad place for months and that they?ve talked about divorce seriously, and Kanye?s manic episode was possibly a reflection of that.
Then over the weekend, Kanye?s mind began to settle. He apologized to his wife on Twitter. Sources told People that he ?seems much more relaxed and chilled out for the past couple of days? and that he ?regrets about sharing such private details? about Kim and ?he definitely understands that he upset Kim. He feels very bad about it. Its obvious that he still loves Kim. Sources also spoke to E! News to say that Kanye has apologized publicly and privately and Kim has accepted his apologies but that she?s ?still very hesitant about the future.?
So, little surprise that Kanye finally agreed to an in-person visit from Kim. She flew from LA to Wyoming (where he?s been for the most part for months) yesterday. They were seen in a run to a local Wendy?s and in the first photos, they seem to be in their separate worlds, looking at their phones. Then TMZ published an update photo where Kim is visibly upset and looks like she?s crying as she and Kanye talk/argue. From what I gather, Kim is not there to serve him with divorce papers or anything she?s there to try to get him some help yet again. My guess is that he?s still refusing help.

Kanye West spent a full week attacking his wife Kim Kardashian and her family on social media and at a ?campaign rally? in South Carolina. Kanye was clearly in the middle of a manic episode. He claimed that Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to ?lock me up.? He said he was trying to divorce Kim and he insinuated that she had an affair with Meek Mill. Kim ended up writing a powerful open letter about mental illness and how powerless the family can feel while watching someone deal with bipolar disorder and refusing help. Reportedly, Kim was still trying to come to Wyoming to see Kanye and possibly convince him to accept treatment or take his medication, but as of Thursday/Friday of last week, he was still refusing to see her or talk to her. Then he posted this over the weekend:

Since social media has lots of conspiracies and gossip, I looked to see what the theories were for this. Something about how Larsa cheated on Scottie (with Future?) and maybe Larsa knew about Kim?s extramarital affairs too? Or maybe something about Larsa fooling around with one of the husbands or boyfriends of one of the K-Js? I?m not sure if I believe *all of that* but I do think something happened, maybe there was a falling out and perhaps Kanye was trying to spill some actual tea.

There are always so many conspiracies about Kim Kardashian and the ?storylines? for Keeping Up with the Kardashians. That?s been happening a lot this week there are people who genuinely believe that Kanye West is, like, faking a manic episode so that KUWTK will have a new storyline? Like, I get it, the family has a reality show and their asses are made of lies. But have you watched KUWTK? Most of the ?storylines? are random sh-t like ?Kourtney and Kim are fighting? or ?where are we going to host this kid?s birthday party?? When the show does veer into actual real-life drama like, say, Kim?s robbery in Paris it?s mostly dealt with off-camera, and then one of the sisters will summarize in a to-camera interview. The Kardashians control what is and is not on-camera, and of course they?re not looking to exploit Kanye?s manic episode for ratings:
Keeping Up with the Kardashians is NOT documenting any of Kanye Wests current bipolar episode and the order came down from Kim herself TMZ has learned. Production sources tell us as soon as Kanye went off the rails, Kim made the decision none of it would be used as a storyline on the show. Were told the series had just recently started shooting again after a lengthy hiatus because of COVID.
Our sources say Kim takes her husbands mental health very seriously and doesnt want it exploited for ratings or good TV drama some things are off the table, and this is one of them. That policy extends to her kids too were told production was told not to profile any of them during this ordeal because she wants them to avoid seeing it down the road.
With that said, were told she and other family members are still filming but theyre simply following other storylines right now. Were told they were out in Malibu Wednesday shooting for the show.
Now, our sources do say the subject of Kanyes bipolar episode may be brought up in the future as a talking point but any of Kims real-life reactions are too personal to air.

I would imagine that Kanye?s mental illness will be a smaller part of a larger KUWTK storyline about Kim getting a divorce, honestly. If they?re filming now, my guess is that the family thought the bigger stories would be ?are Khloe and Tristan Thompson back together? and ?Kylie Cosmetics drama.? But I?m sure the conclusion of the season currently filming will be Kim speaking to camera about how she?s visiting divorce lawyers, and maybe Kim leaning on Kris and Khloe for support as her marriage falls apart.

I?ve shared my thoughts about this Kim Kardashian-Kanye West situation enough times, I hope I don?t have to recap the whole damn thing. Kanye West, an unmedicated bipolar man, has been in the middle of a raging manic episode and, as it so often does, the whole thing is playing out publicly. The new wrinkle is that Kanye is tweeting and saying some sh-t about his wife, his children and his mother-in-law. This is all happening against the backdrop of the pandemic, where Kanye and Kim?s marriage was already strained and they?ve been living separately for much of the past three or four months. Kanye tweet-and-deleted something Tuesday night about how he?s wanted to divorce Kim for two years, and he insinuated that she cheated on him with Meek Mill. Kim likely has been visiting divorce lawyers, but she also took a moment to make a public statement about Kanye?s mental illness:
As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. Ive never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanyes right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.
Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.
I understand Kanye is subject to criticism because he is a public figure and his actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions. He is a brilliant but complicated person who on top of being an artist and a black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother, and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder. Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words sometimes do not align with his intentions.
Living with bi-polar disorder does not diminish or invalidate his dreams and his creative ideas, no matter how big or unobtainable they may feel to some. That is part of his genius and as we have all witnessed, many of his dreams have come true. We as a society talk about giving grace to the issue of mental health as a whole, however we should also give it to the individuals who are living with it in times when they need it the most. I kindly ask that the media and public give us the compassion and empathy that is needed so that we can get through this. Thank you for those who have expressed concern for Kanyes well-being and for your understanding.

I?ve called Kanye an unreliable narrator of his own mental illness before, and I stand by it, but this just shows that Kim actually has done some reading and studying up on Kanye?s disorder. She has absolutely looked into what can be done legally and what she specifically could do as his wife when Kanye is in a manic state and refusing to be medicated, hospitalized or to simply accept help in any way. And she?s found that she can?t do very much, especially now that Kanye is attacking her and her family online and showing a deep distrust.
I find her entire statement classy (truly) and authentic if this is what we?re seeing publicly, think about how difficult this has been to deal with privately. What is happening with Kanye is not Kim?s fault, even though everyone wants to drag her. You can dislike Kim and that?s fine she?s not my favorite person, but I think she?s dealing with a difficult situation as best she can, and I respect what she says here and how she?s conducting herself in this particular instance. I think she genuinely wants Kanye to make healthier choices for himself and their children. It?s that simple. I also think Kim is truly trying to protect Kanye, and that she DGAF if people are dragging her.
?Sources? also went to People Magazine and said that Kim is ?trying very hard to be graceful right now, but shes finding it hard to do. She feels disrespected and that this is a slap in the face to her and her entire family. She understands his bipolar disorder, but that doesnt mean that she wants to be publicly embarrassed like this. Shes crushed. Again, it would not surprise me at all if they?re well on their way to being divorced by the end of the year.

Given Kanye West?s tweet-and-deletestorms this week, I think we should all be prepared for Kanye to truly live-tweet his upcoming divorce. I genuinely believe that Kim Kardashian has been done with Kanye for a while, and the pandemic just underlined the fact that she?s sick of being around him. His latest manic episode has been the straw that broke the camel?s back she did the ?supportive wife? thing and tried to get him help. He doesn?t want to be helped. And now he?s tweeting out sh-t about how she maybe fked with Meek Mill and how her mom is Kris Jong Un. So Kim is reportedly done:

And the way he?s lashing out of Kim and Kris in particular this week? it?s interesting because that part of it IS new. I think Kanye is kind of done with the marriage. And so it?s probably a good idea for Kim to talk to those lawyers. She could just get Laura Wasser again? She used Wasser for her last divorce, to Kris Humphries.

All week, ?sources close to Kim Kardashian? have been talking to every major outlet regarding Kanye West?s latest manic episode. Kim has been in LA as Kanye?s mental health has declined sharply for weeks, mostly as he lives and works in Wyoming. She did not join him for his South Carolina ?rally? over the weekend, where he talked about abortion and other subjects. Monday night, Kanye tweeted that Kim was ?trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up.? On Tuesday, sources confirmed to People Magazine that Kim ?has been trying to get Kanye help for weeks? but what do you do when a person doesnt want help? Kanye is in Cody because he doesnt want help. If he wanted help, he would come back to L.A. Sources also said that Kim?s family has been supporting her and trying to help Kanye too. Everyone involved is in a difficult position because, again, he does not want to be helped, so they?re ?talking to medical professionals for guidance.?
All of that set up another night full of manic tweeting by Kanye on Tuesday/Wednesday. These tweets had a different edge, as Kanye seemingly mocked Kris Jenner as ?Kris Jong Un? and insinuated that Kim had an affair with Meek Mill. He deleted most of the tweets but of course everyone got screencaps. Here?s the shady tweet about Kris Jong Un and Meek:

Following Kanye West?s absurdist, manic ?campaign stop? in South Carolina, the Kardashians mainly Kim Kardashian seemed to blanket the gossip media with anonymous statements. They ran to TMZ first, but Kim also went to Entertainment Tonight, with a source saying that Kim was deeply upset by Kanye?s comments about abortion: Kanye isn?t in a good place and isn?t listening to anyone trying to talk him into getting help. Kim is upset with Kanye for his rants yesterday, especially talking about the possibility of having an abortion and not giving birth to North. She knows this is something North will see when she gets older and that?s heartbreaking. I felt like Kim had largely tapped out of Kanye?s narrative, perhaps because there was nothing TO do unless Kanye understands that he needs to be medicated. Well, apparently last night Kim did try to bring a doctor to Kanye in his Wyoming Dome. Kanye live-tweeted it (most of these are now deleted, so I?m using People?s coverage):
In a string of tweets Monday evening, the 43-year-old rapper asked both Kim and her mom, Kris Jenner, to contact him as he claimed they were trying to lock me up.
Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughters life yesterday, West wrote on Twitter, referring to his comments about North West during his first campaign rally over the weekend.
Kriss don?t play with me you and that calmye are not allowed around my children Ya?ll tried to lock me up, West wrote in one tweet, seemingly referring to his mother-in-law and her boyfriend Corey Gamble. A few minutes later, he added, Kim tried to bring a doctor to lock me up with a doctor.
If I get locked up like Mandela Ya?ll will know why, West wrote in another tweet.
Everybody knows the movie get out is about me, he also wrote.
A representative for Kim did not immediately respond to PEOPLEs request for comment.
