He?s no stranger to magazine covers, and Justin Timberlake is featured on the front of Esquire Magazine?s October 2011 issue.
The ?Like I Love You? singer took Esquire?s Chris Jones to Comic-Con all dressed up this past summer, and he chose an interesting duo to go as.
Justin explained, ?Dude, this is going to be awesome. Let?s do Bert and Ernie. I think it?ll make for better bonding.?
Mr. Timberlake also explained that anonymity is a rarity for him anymore. ?I can sometimes walk around New York if I dress the right way, but that?s it.?

Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake cover the upcoming issue of W Magazine to promote In Time, a futuristic thriller that hits theaters on October 28. Before we get into this interview, it’s necessary to recall the recent Interview Magazine piece where Amanda suggestively told JT that she’d “just stepped out of the shower” when he called so that he would know that she was naked. Yes, she was flirting with him like mad, and I think the girl has some serious self-esteem issues as well. Mostly, I base the latter opinion on a very uncomfortable Craig Ferguson interview where Amanda repeatedly calls herself “boring” and generally looks in danger of shrinking into the chair cushions at any given moment. Interestingly, she also mentioned being in the shower once while talking to Ferguson too, so maybe that’s her default “suggestive” line; but the fact remains that Amanda, while completely gorgeous, really is a pretty boring individual and is only truly fascinating in terms of her dog.
Amanda is a very pretty but odd bird, and Kaiser wanted me to mention that she’s got horrible taste in men, so it would make sense if she’s into JT. After all, she dated Ryan Phillippe and still nurses (as recently as this past June) an on-off relationship with Dominic Cooper, who not only repeatedly cheated on her but also hooked up with Lindsay Lohan while he and Amanda were together. Definitely, JT fits right in Amanda’s “type,” which consists of self-absorbed, cheating douches; yet I think that she could do so much better even though, in this interview, she admits to being fixated with the idea of dating her co-stars. She also brings up Megan Fox too, which makes me think that they got along pretty well while working together and might both suffer from the socially awkward dilemma in their interviews:
On Sex Scenes: Sex scenes are great. A lot of my costars have been sexy guys my age, and so, why not? I’m not going to pretend it’s not fun. Justin was great-he had come from doing Friends With Benefits, where he basically had sex every day at work-and so it was easy for both of us. We just kind of got it on, and then were like, “That was good!”
On Being A Closet N’Sync Fan: I went to four different proms in high school. I was addicted to the whole ballroom thing. But it was embarrassing to be an ‘N Sync fan in high school. I was into them in middle school. I definitely danced in my friend’s basement for hours and hours to ‘N Sync’s first album.
On Kissing Megan Fox: Jennifer’s Body is my favorite movie that I’ve done. It was overlooked in theaters, but it does have a DVD following. I can’t believe nobody wanted to see Megan Fox and me hitting it. They had an extreme close-up of our tongues, and I’m telling you, the thing about the scene is that it’s actually really sexy. For a young girl to say that about her own sex scene-it must be because it’s special. I think Megan and I kissed really well together. We have similar kissing styles and it worked. We got it done for the masses, and the masses still didn’t show up.
On Doing Romcoms: I love acting like I’m in love. It’s a very positive thing. Making a movie is, in general, romantic. It’s very special, very intimate. So you can see why a lot of actors get together. When you’re young, it’s hard not to get together with your costar. But I’ve been doing this long enough to know that it’s usually not the greatest idea.
Isn’t it weird how Amanda’s changed her tune on romcoms? Before now, she only claimed to do them for the money, but now she apparently loves acting like she’s in love. Well, she’s good at doing just that, which is about the extent of my feelings on that subject.
As for JT’s half of the interview, there aren’t many interesting quotes from which to pull, but he does describe his performance in the much maligned Southland Tales as “performance art.” Of course, I have unavoidably started assuming that every time one mentions “performance art,” it’s either a subtle or not-so-subtle dig at James Franco, but that’s probably not the case here because JT goes on to admit that he really didn’t understand the film at all. In all fairness, I don’t think anyone understood Southland Tales, and I only appreciated that movie because Dwayne Johnson was present in all of his overacting, buffed-up glory. Back to this W interview though, which features a few decent self-deprecating tidbits from JT:
On How The Acting Thing Started: In films, I didn’t crave the type of attention I had sort of stumbled into in my music career. And I do not audition well. I’m really not good at it. Early on, I did movies like Alpha Dog and Black Snake Moan because the directors didn’t ask me to audition.
On Planning His Every Career Move: It’s different now, but in the past I’ve had some accidents, for sure. I think I have to laugh about the fact that I grew up in public. All these weird stages in my teenage years are documented. Why did no one tell me how terrible some of those outfits were?
On Avoiding Typecasting: After The Social Network, I got two or three sociopaths pitched to me. I didn’t want to play that again. It’s the same for musicians-once you do a song that’s a big deal, you get pitched a similar song. But just like I didn’t want my second album to sound like my first album, I want all the characters I play to be distinct and different.

The interview arrives with slightly overwrought photoshoot featuring JT and Amanda all dolled up as the “picture-perfect political couple.” Obviously, they’re not doing it yet, but Amanda is dropping hints like crazy that she would totally go there if JT was game. Oddly, Life & Style just published a report that JT and the long-suffering Jessica Biel are planning to marry, which was supposedly a condition to their limp-wristed reunion a few months ago even though he’s probably fooling around on Biel again. In Hollywood, it’s a sure sign that a guy won’t marry a girl when he takes his mom to the Oscars instead, right? So Amanda definitely still has a shot at the JT douche ride and definitely meets the height standards for admission.

Stepping out for an evening style showcase, Justin Timberlake and Nicki Minaj both turned up for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week happenings at 11 West 42nd Street in New York City on Tuesday (September 13).
The "In Time" hunk was clad in a stylish charcoal suit while the "Super Bass" hitmaker opted for a more unusual look complete with a tiger headpiece as the pair checked out the Oscar De La Renta Spring 2012 fashion show.
As has been the case for the past few days, Miss Minaj kept her Twitter faithful up to date each and every step of the way, as she kicked things off by writing, "Oscar De La Renta w/my date Anna Wintour again. Oscar is a very handsome man. So is Valentino. Tell ya all about the collection in a bit!"
In awe over what she saw on the runway, the 28-year-old tweeted upon show's end, "OMFG! Someone get me an ambulance. Upon seeing Oscar De La Renta's new line, I'm #!@%*#ing GAGGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Attempting to go unnoticed with no avail, Justin Timberlake was spotted out and about in New York City on Friday (September 9).
The ?Friends With Benefits? stud looked cute in white pants, a plaid shirt and newsboy cap paired with shades as he walked along with a mysterious brunette.
In a recent interview with a British magazine, Timberlake opened up about what he has on tap as far as his career goes.
"I have nothing on my plate for the rest of the year. I'm getting sick of me," Timberlake said. "I realize that I'm in a really lucky place because, to be honest, I don't think I'm that good. I just want to make the right choices. You get to a certain age where you don't feel the need to be validated by your choices in your career. I want to be validated more by choices in my personal life."

Giving diners a little something extra, Justin Timberlake surprised his guests at New York City's Southern Hospitality on Wednesday evening (August 31), offering up an impromptu performance.
The plaid-clad "Cry Me a River" hunk mostly played backup keyboard for the band FreeSol, however JT made sure to grab the mic a few times - making the crowd go crazy!
Giving his followers a slight heads up on his plans, Justin tweeted, ?NYC!!! Wanna check out some live music tonight?? Meet me and @freesol at 45th & 9th at 11pm #youdontwanttomissthis,? just hours before he hit up his Upper East Side venue.
On-hand to catch the joint concert were a few of Timberlake's A-list friends, including Big Apple residents Kim Kardashian and hubby Kris Humphries, as well as pal Emma Roberts.

There have been rumors of a reconciliation for months now, but Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were totally busted on like seven dates in the last week and a half. According to the Daily Mail says:
The on-off Hollywood couple were spotted having a romantic dinner at Italian restaurant Enoteca Sociale in Toronto last night.
A day earlier, the pair took in the city’s sites on a bicycle ride.
It comes a week after they were seen spending time together at Martha’s Vineyard in New York.
They also traveled to the Hamptons last weekend for a few days before jetting to Toronto, Canada where they brunched together at the Swan.
I’m sorry — bicycle rides? Brunch? The Swan? I must have missed the part when Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake turned into an elderly gay couple. Next time I’ll pay more attention.

Months after confirming their breakup, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were spotted out for a bike ride together in Toronto, Canada.
On Sunday (August 28) the ?Like I Love You? singer and the ?7th Heaven? hottie rode around the northern city looking blissfully in love.
And the bike ride was just one of many activities Justin and Jessica shared together. An insider told press they were spotted having coffee multiple times, as well as dinners and brunches too.
"Justin and Jessica came into Ella's Uncle coffee shop not once but three times this weekend: Saturday evening, Sunday morning and just this morning.?
"They seemed so comfortable, happy and at ease every time. They literally couldn't stop staring and smiling at each other. Justin seemed completely smitten with Jessica, and she had this permanent smile on her face, and they joked around with each other. Jessica even recommended Justin get her favorite, the Americano, but Justin opted for the Ella, a double cappuccino with maple syrup."
Another eyewitness, who saw them at breakfast, added, ?Justin had scrambled eggs and Jessica had an omelet. Jessica must have suggested it because Justin's not here very often, but she comes in a lot. They were laughing and having such a good time."

I’ve lost track of the many times that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have broken up and gotten back together. It’s clear that they have a pattern: They step away, see other people until it goes bad, (usually Justin is the one seeing other people, but Jessica is usually linked to a few guys too), and then reconcile. A lot of couples do that, and I’ve seen this same pattern play out with non-famous people. There are married guys who try to pull similar bullsh*t on their wives too, because they’re the type of guys who need constant attention and want a devoted wife at home and some stupid piece on the side who will tell them how great they are. When both people are single, though, it’s like the guy wants the freedom to date, and can’t give up the security blanket of having a girlfriend. The woman (usually) thinks he’ll eventually come around and commit because they’re so clearly meant for each other, but it just doesn’t happen. At least they’re not married yet.

Jessica must have suggested it because Justin’s not here very often, but she comes in a lot.” And the always-funny Justin kept Jessica fully entertained. ?They were laughing and having such a good time,? the second eyewitness adds. ?They enjoyed their food, but they seemed to enjoy each other much more!?
Justin, who is due back in New York City, recently revealed that he?s definitely not over Jessica: “She is the single most significant person in my life,” Justin said.

I would think that some restaurant was going for free publicity with this story, but L&S got detailed menu information from both a restaurant and a coffee shop, so it reads more like a publicist’s piece. Kind of like the rumors in July that they were “quietly” back together, then the rumors that Justin was “quietly” cheating on Jessica. It won’t be long before we hear the same story again, rinse and repeat. Will Jessica ever put her foot down and refuse to take him back? She hasn’t done it in the several years they’ve been together.

Showcasing yet another one of his many talents, Justin Timberlake sat in the director's chair for the making of the "Hoodies On, Hats Low" video - the latest track from hip-hop group FreeSol.
Lending his creativity to the group, which is currently signed to his label, Tennman Records, the "Friends With Benefits" star made an all-star cameo in the clip, whispering lyrics and showing off a few dance moves.
Looking to garner interest in the beat-wielding record, Justin took to his Twitter page, writing, ?New music? if you like it pass it along.?
Despite the recent musical rendezvous, Timberlake himself hasn't put forth any new tunes since the 2006 release of "FutureSex/LoveSounds," however, he says that could change in the near future.

It has been mentioned (by Kaiser, actually) that Justin Timberlake generally acts like a douche these days, which certainly won’t help the fact that filmgoers already don’t make much of an effort to watch his films. Also not very impressive is the extremely uncomfortable, leg-rubbing way in which JT begrudgingly accepted his Marine Corp date. Now JT is taking his douchy ways to the streets of NYC, where In Touch reveals that he refused to sign autographs on the red carpet of the Friends With Benefits premiere. The next evening, JT reportedly acted like a total prick to the staff at an NYC restaurant and club:
Justin Timberlake has been a star since the tender age of 12 — and obviously, he has forgotten that he was once a mere mortal, too. During a recent night out at The Boom Boom Room, “He was really in a terrible mood,” one very unimpressed eyewitness at the hot NYC club on July 19 tells In Touch. “He was awful to the staff, making unreasonable demands and acting like a total prince.”
You’d think Justin would have been on his best behavior — after all, he was feting the premiere of his new film, Friends With Benefits, alongside his mom, Lynn Harless, and his co-stars Mila Kunis, Patricia Clarkson, and Jenna Elfman. However, the singer was in a rotten mood.
“He ordered a glass of champagne but complained that it was flat and demanded another one,” another witness shares with In Touch. Then, after rejecting the second glass as “also flat,” he insisted the waitress open a new bottle. However, still not content with the third glass, the surly singer told his friends he would drink it anyway, because he was “sick of dealing with her” — referring to his hapless hostess. Understandably, everyone was relieved when the 30-year-old finally left — but not before both witnesses overheard Justin warning his driver that if he wasn’t parked right outside the front door, he would “lose his s***!”
Leaving us to wonder, what’s gotten Justin so sour? Maybe his William Rast underpants were too tight!

What a diva. I hope that poor waitress wasn’t a JT fan; if so, she’s certainly not a fan now. However, I wonder whether his refusal to sign autographs is something that rubbed off on him after his years of dating with Cameron Diaz, who earned herself a reputation of not only refusing to sign for her public but also going on to tell people how dumb autographs are. So far, Cameron has gotten away with this sort of behavior, but JT’s luck probably won’t last that long because — let’s face it — he just doesn’t have legs that are anywhere near as pretty as Cameron’s stems.
