He received an invitation to the Instructor Battalion Marine Corps Ball this past weekend, and Justin Timberlake had the time of his life.
The ?Cry Me A River? singer was invited via YouTube by combat instructor Kelsey De Santis and he was quite glad he decided to accept.
Justin wrote on his website, ?What I didn?t know was how moved I would be by the whole experience.?
Of Kelly, Timberlake shared, ?She seemed to me to be so humble and honest... Very cool. She also simultaneously seemed like she was nervous about the whole evening and if I was going to enjoy myself. 'Are you ok?' she asked 2 or 3 times. ?I hope you are having fun. I know you will once my crew of friends get here to the table.' "
Justin continued, ?I have to tell you, it's not every day that I meet a 23 year old girl and she's more worried about if I'm having fun or if I'm comfortable! It hit me all of a sudden that these were the type of people that look after us and our freedom... Humble, concerned for others before themselves... This was the type of person our Marine Corps was building. I was really blown away."
?I felt so proud to be there. I felt like I was getting a chance to be among my heroes. It's funny too because a lot of them are SO younger than me."

Continuing on with their press tour, "In Time" costars Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried posed for pictures during a photocall for the film in Madrid, Spain earlier today (November 3).
Looking lovely in front of the cameras, the "Mamma Mia" actress dressed in multi-colored, high-slit frock, while her hunky "Friends with Benefits" pal donned a gray wool blaze and dark wash jeans for the promotional appearance.
It's no doubt Justin's acting career has been going full-steam as of late, however, the former 'N Sync member says he hasn't forgotten about his musical roots.
"I don't really put anything on the back burner. I go from project to project and if something comes up that's inspiring and feels like it makes sense and is authentic to me, then - I'm just trying to continue to be inspired."

Handling some overseas promotions, Justin Timberlake was spotted at BBC Radio One Studios in London, England today (November 1).
The ?Like I Love You? singer was in the house to plug his new movie with Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde titled ?In Time,? and looked dapper in a charcoal jacket, navy scarf, and dark wash jeans.
In career news, Justin is being pursued by the Coen Brothers to star in their upcoming musical-themed flick ?Inside Llewyn Davis.?
The project is about a 1960s East Greenwich Village folk singer, and ?Drive? star Oscar Isaac has already signed on for the lead role.

It?s always interesting to me to see which stars in an ensemble get chosen to represent their film overseas. At the New York premiere of In Time, Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried shared the red carpet with Olivia Wilde and Matt Bomer, two of the other ?names? in the film. And now In Time premiered in London last night - and suddenly there?s no Olivia or Bomer. For why? Did JT and Amanda not want to share? Or was it because In Time kind of bombed in the domestic box office and Olivia and Matt Bomer didn?t even feel like traveling to promote the damn thing?
Regardless, here are some of the photos from the premiere. Amanda wore this electric blue H&M tuxedo-shorts ensemble. I really, really dislike it. Well? I?ll give her some credit for trying something different, for wearing a bold color, and for having an amazing figure. But I will not give her credit for these shorts. These things do NOT belong on a red carpet. At all. Look at how her ass is hanging out (and don?t even start yelling at me - I?m looking at ass cheek shadow, and that shouldn?t happen on a red carpet).
Also: Amanda?s eyes look really druggy to me.
For some reason, little Saoirse Ronan was at the UK premiere too. She?s not in the film or anything, so I guess she just wanted to see the movie. I love her little outfit. Perfect for a teenager on a red carpet for a film that isn?t hers.

Handling their overseas promotions, costars Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake attended the UK premiere of "In Time" earlier today (October 31).
Heating up the red carpet, the duo looked lovely upon arrival with the "Red Riding Hood" actress sporting a bright blue blazer with matching short bottoms, while her "Friends with Benefits" pal donned a sleek black suit for press duties.
Having already seen its Stateside debut, the "In Time's" storyline centers on future when people's aging coming to an end at 25 - which means they must work to buy themselves more time. And when a young man finds himself with more time than he can imagine, he's forced to run from the corrupt police force to save his life.
Quickly sparking his interest, Timberlake recently described his immediate attraction to the movie, telling press, "When I read the script, for two or three days, I couldn?t stop thinking about the themes - that one being one of them - but also our obsession with looking young forever."

He?s always got something up his sleeve, and Justin Timberlake was spotted arriving ahead of his guest appearance on the ?Late Show with David Letterman? on Wednesday (October 26).
The ?Bad Teacher? star greeted some lucky fans as he signed autographs outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre before heading inside for the sitdown interview set to air on CBS tonight at 11:30 pm.
Aside from checking in with Letterman, Timberlake recently chatted with Movie Fanatic about his latest flick, ?In Time,? and admitted that while filming he ?got to live out a lot of boyhood fantasies in this movie shooting guns and getting to learn how to stunt drive.?
When asked about what compelled him to partake in the film, Justin replied, I think one of the things [director] Niccol said to us that was kind of interesting, once they get this genetic aging thing down, all new things would kind of stop being developed. There is no reason to go out and create something new. You have the Holy Grail there, you just want to relax. I thought that was fascinating.?

He?s no stranger to magazine covers, and Justin Timberlake is featured on the front of Esquire Magazine?s October 2011 issue.
The ?Like I Love You? singer took Esquire?s Chris Jones to Comic-Con all dressed up this past summer, and he chose an interesting duo to go as.
Justin explained, ?Dude, this is going to be awesome. Let?s do Bert and Ernie. I think it?ll make for better bonding.?
Mr. Timberlake also explained that anonymity is a rarity for him anymore. ?I can sometimes walk around New York if I dress the right way, but that?s it.?

Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake cover the upcoming issue of W Magazine to promote In Time, a futuristic thriller that hits theaters on October 28. Before we get into this interview, it’s necessary to recall the recent Interview Magazine piece where Amanda suggestively told JT that she’d “just stepped out of the shower” when he called so that he would know that she was naked. Yes, she was flirting with him like mad, and I think the girl has some serious self-esteem issues as well. Mostly, I base the latter opinion on a very uncomfortable Craig Ferguson interview where Amanda repeatedly calls herself “boring” and generally looks in danger of shrinking into the chair cushions at any given moment. Interestingly, she also mentioned being in the shower once while talking to Ferguson too, so maybe that’s her default “suggestive” line; but the fact remains that Amanda, while completely gorgeous, really is a pretty boring individual and is only truly fascinating in terms of her dog.
Amanda is a very pretty but odd bird, and Kaiser wanted me to mention that she’s got horrible taste in men, so it would make sense if she’s into JT. After all, she dated Ryan Phillippe and still nurses (as recently as this past June) an on-off relationship with Dominic Cooper, who not only repeatedly cheated on her but also hooked up with Lindsay Lohan while he and Amanda were together. Definitely, JT fits right in Amanda’s “type,” which consists of self-absorbed, cheating douches; yet I think that she could do so much better even though, in this interview, she admits to being fixated with the idea of dating her co-stars. She also brings up Megan Fox too, which makes me think that they got along pretty well while working together and might both suffer from the socially awkward dilemma in their interviews:
On Sex Scenes: Sex scenes are great. A lot of my costars have been sexy guys my age, and so, why not? I’m not going to pretend it’s not fun. Justin was great-he had come from doing Friends With Benefits, where he basically had sex every day at work-and so it was easy for both of us. We just kind of got it on, and then were like, “That was good!”
On Being A Closet N’Sync Fan: I went to four different proms in high school. I was addicted to the whole ballroom thing. But it was embarrassing to be an ‘N Sync fan in high school. I was into them in middle school. I definitely danced in my friend’s basement for hours and hours to ‘N Sync’s first album.
On Kissing Megan Fox: Jennifer’s Body is my favorite movie that I’ve done. It was overlooked in theaters, but it does have a DVD following. I can’t believe nobody wanted to see Megan Fox and me hitting it. They had an extreme close-up of our tongues, and I’m telling you, the thing about the scene is that it’s actually really sexy. For a young girl to say that about her own sex scene-it must be because it’s special. I think Megan and I kissed really well together. We have similar kissing styles and it worked. We got it done for the masses, and the masses still didn’t show up.
On Doing Romcoms: I love acting like I’m in love. It’s a very positive thing. Making a movie is, in general, romantic. It’s very special, very intimate. So you can see why a lot of actors get together. When you’re young, it’s hard not to get together with your costar. But I’ve been doing this long enough to know that it’s usually not the greatest idea.
Isn’t it weird how Amanda’s changed her tune on romcoms? Before now, she only claimed to do them for the money, but now she apparently loves acting like she’s in love. Well, she’s good at doing just that, which is about the extent of my feelings on that subject.
As for JT’s half of the interview, there aren’t many interesting quotes from which to pull, but he does describe his performance in the much maligned Southland Tales as “performance art.” Of course, I have unavoidably started assuming that every time one mentions “performance art,” it’s either a subtle or not-so-subtle dig at James Franco, but that’s probably not the case here because JT goes on to admit that he really didn’t understand the film at all. In all fairness, I don’t think anyone understood Southland Tales, and I only appreciated that movie because Dwayne Johnson was present in all of his overacting, buffed-up glory. Back to this W interview though, which features a few decent self-deprecating tidbits from JT:
On How The Acting Thing Started: In films, I didn’t crave the type of attention I had sort of stumbled into in my music career. And I do not audition well. I’m really not good at it. Early on, I did movies like Alpha Dog and Black Snake Moan because the directors didn’t ask me to audition.
On Planning His Every Career Move: It’s different now, but in the past I’ve had some accidents, for sure. I think I have to laugh about the fact that I grew up in public. All these weird stages in my teenage years are documented. Why did no one tell me how terrible some of those outfits were?
On Avoiding Typecasting: After The Social Network, I got two or three sociopaths pitched to me. I didn’t want to play that again. It’s the same for musicians-once you do a song that’s a big deal, you get pitched a similar song. But just like I didn’t want my second album to sound like my first album, I want all the characters I play to be distinct and different.

The interview arrives with slightly overwrought photoshoot featuring JT and Amanda all dolled up as the “picture-perfect political couple.” Obviously, they’re not doing it yet, but Amanda is dropping hints like crazy that she would totally go there if JT was game. Oddly, Life & Style just published a report that JT and the long-suffering Jessica Biel are planning to marry, which was supposedly a condition to their limp-wristed reunion a few months ago even though he’s probably fooling around on Biel again. In Hollywood, it’s a sure sign that a guy won’t marry a girl when he takes his mom to the Oscars instead, right? So Amanda definitely still has a shot at the JT douche ride and definitely meets the height standards for admission.

Stepping out for an evening style showcase, Justin Timberlake and Nicki Minaj both turned up for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week happenings at 11 West 42nd Street in New York City on Tuesday (September 13).
The "In Time" hunk was clad in a stylish charcoal suit while the "Super Bass" hitmaker opted for a more unusual look complete with a tiger headpiece as the pair checked out the Oscar De La Renta Spring 2012 fashion show.
As has been the case for the past few days, Miss Minaj kept her Twitter faithful up to date each and every step of the way, as she kicked things off by writing, "Oscar De La Renta w/my date Anna Wintour again. Oscar is a very handsome man. So is Valentino. Tell ya all about the collection in a bit!"
In awe over what she saw on the runway, the 28-year-old tweeted upon show's end, "OMFG! Someone get me an ambulance. Upon seeing Oscar De La Renta's new line, I'm #!@%*#ing GAGGING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
