Out for a fun-filled excursion, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck took their daughter Violet to the Soccer Kids USA Super Saturday class at Crestwood Hills Park in Brentwood, CA on Saturday (September 18).
Looking ever the fabulous family, the "Good Will Huntin" hunk chatted it up with fellow spectators before taking youngest daughter Seraphina to the swing set after the on-field action.
In quite the cheerful mood, Ben is fresh off of news that his Boston-based crime thriller "The Town" took the top spot at the box office on its opening day.
"The Town" opened to an estimated $8.4 million take, beating out "Easy A" at $6.8 million and "Devil" which took in $4.9 million.

Stepping out for an early afternoon coffee break, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were spotted at Starbucks earlier today (September 17).
The ?Valentine?s Day? actress and her ?Extract? hubby both looked none too pleased to see the paparazzi as they stepped out of their Lexus, but made their way in the coffee shop anyhow to grab up some treats.
Mr Affleck has been busy promoting his latest film, ?The Town? in which he stars alongside ?Gossip Girl? Blake Lively.
During a recent press event for the film that hits theatres today, Ben revealed that he will not work with wife Jen. He told, ?I would be profoundly lucky to work with her. But something tells me that people don?t want to see real-life couples together at the movies.?

I can’t tell you how excited I am to see The Town when it opens here in Germany next week. You guys in the US get it tomorrow so please don’t go posting spoilers in the comments on this or any other stories on it. You’ve been warned! At least we don’t have to wait over a month here to see the film as is usual for European showings, and I appreciate that. It looks like one of those gems that has it all: hard-hitting believable drama, gritty realistic crime action and beautiful guys to stare at. (The Departed is near the top of my list for that reason.) Affleck’s directorial efforts are earning praise and the film has a solid 85% on Rotten Tomatoes. Anyway people have noticed during the promotional tour that Affleck is sporting some gray hair along with his hot facial scruff and those washboard abs we get to see in the trailer. (At 1:03) He’s been asked about it and he has a sense of humor, explaining that he got it from directing and from his brother, Casey.
Was it tricky directing Bahstin taahk?
If you don’t do the accent well, it can really upend your movie. So you have to hire really good actors. I knew Jeremy Renner is great, so I wasn’t worried. And when [California-bred] Blake Lively came in, she read the scenes for me so well, I asked her what part of Boston she was from.
Any plans to work with your wife?
Jen is a great actress. I would be profoundly lucky to work with her. But something tells me that people don’t want to see real-life couples together at the movies.
What’s up with the gray hair?
It’s there, it’s present. I can acknowledge it! I didn’t have a single gray hair until I started directing movies. It gives you gray hair. That and my brother.
Just how real is Casey’s documentary, I’m Still Here?
Well [pauses and laughs], I’m not the best person to ask. All I can say is, I think it’s spectacular and says something really relevant about celebrity.

Cinemablend and Buzzine have the details from a press conference Ben gave at the Toronto Film Festival, and it’s clear that’s where these quotes are from and that it wasn’t just an interview he gave to US Weekly. (only Cinemablend admits it was a press conference, Buzzine tries to pass it off as a one-on-one interview like US does, but it’s obviously not as the wording is the exact same.) In the full quote that US excerpts above, he admitted dying his hair for the film. “You?re asking why I dyed the gray? I thought it would look good. Vanity. I have a little bit of gray in my hair, yes. Thank you. It?s there, it?s present. I acknowledge it. Thank you. You know what it is? I didn?t have a single gray hair until I started directing movies. I started directing movies, and? here?s your gray hair. And my brother. Those things give me gray hair..”
The full quote from Ben on potentially working with Garner is in Buzzine, and it’s very complimentary toward her and much nicer than it sounds when it’s just excerpted like this. He said “My wife is a great actress, and I would be profoundly lucky to work with her. Something tells me that people don?t want to see real-life couples together in film. If I could pick a woman to work with, it would be my wife. She?s magnificent. She?s magnificent on her own, in her own movies, and maybe one day I?ll be lucky enough to direct her.” That’s really nice! I hope these two are doing ok, and that the rumors are just that. It must be hard to manage two jet-setting careers and raise two kids together, even with all the help they surely have. Now let’s get back to anticipating this film, as it just looks incredible.

Debuting their new movie north of the border, the stars of "The Town" were out at the 35th Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada on Saturday night (September 11).
Held at the Roy Thomson Hall, the film's director and star Ben Affleck worked the red carpet while his actress wife Jennifer Garner showed up to lend a little support.
Also on hand were "Gossip Girl" babe Blake Lively and "Twilight" hottie Rachelle Lefevre, as well as "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm and his girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt.
Due out in theaters this Friday (September 17), "The Town" sees "a longtime thief trying to balance his feelings for a bank manager connected to one of his earlier heists, as well as the FBI agent looking to bring him and his crew down."

Here are the new photos of the photocall for The Town, in Venice today. Confession: I think CB is a little mad at me, I really do. Earlier, I took the new photos of Ben Affleck, Jeremy Renner and Rebecca Hall and wrote about them. CB didn?t say anything, but I know how much she loves Ben Affleck. In my defense, there were new Affleck photos a few days ago, and I suggested that she write about them, and she didn?t! So here we are, looking at yet another set of new photos starring CB?s beloved, Mr. Affleck. I remember when I was in lust with Affleck as well - it was pre-gambling, post-Gwyneth. Circa 2001, I believe. He was only starting to go off the rails then. I really was hot for him? and these photos are reminding me of my crush, big time. Ben has been looking really good lately - he?s lost some weight, his clothes have improved, and the sparkle is back in his eye. Is that sparkle because his wife’s not around? Who can say. But who can pay attention to The Affleck when The Hamm is around?
Is this not one of the funniest photos you?ve ever seen? God, he?s handsome, and he?s hilarious. Bless his heart.
Now I can?t tell if Ben is checking out Rebecca Hall?s shoes or her boobs in this photo. All I know is that CB is getting her shank ready.
But Rebecca wisely spends most of her time flirting with The Hamm. Good girl. Also: Rebecca has horrible style, correct?

Fulfilling some overseas promotional duties, Ben Affleck and Jon Hamm were spotted at the 67th Venice Film Festival earlier today (September 8).
Joined by costar Rebecca Hall, Affleck and Hamm were in the house ahead of the big premiere of their new film ?The Town.?
The ?Good Will Hunting? actor recently discussed his role as star and director of the film, and his hesitation to participate.
Ben explained, ?That was one of the things that almost made me not want to do The Town. I thought, I?m going to be the guy who makes crime movies in Somerville, [Mass.]. I guess from an actor?s point-of-view, you worry about being typecast.?
He also noted that being from Boston makes things interesting when it comes to making movies there. ?People probably know who I am in Boston just because of Good Will Hunting and Gone Baby Gone. It?s a double-edged sword: Being the local boy you definitely get some support and you also?there?s tougher scrutiny.?

Getting in some all important quality time, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were spotted out at the Brentwood Farmers Market yesterday (August 29).
The ?Catch and Release? babe and her ?Good Will Hunting? husband escorted their adorable daughters Violet and Seraphina down the street while also juggling their groceries.
Ms. Garner?s family fun came after a long week of filming her current film project ?Arthur? with Russell Brand and Helen Mirren.
During Friday?s shoot in New York City, she was spotted sporting three totally different looks all in the span of a few hours.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner had a couple of well photographed outings recently that looked staged, in my opinion. They take pains not to be photographed together on the red carpet, and in these park outing photos they were smiling, playing with their kids and kissing. (They also went out to eat at Nobu recently.) It’s possible they were just followed by the paparazzi who stalk them daily and decided to make the best of it. They were at the park to attend their older daughter Violet’s soccer game so it’s not like they could leave. Even if they did set up the photos I can’t really blame them. They’re damned if they do, damned if they don’t, as evidenced by this story in In Touch that their marriage is allegedly in trouble but they’re working on it. Given all we know about Ben, it sounds likely even if it’s completely made up, and that’s likely to be the case too. Here’s what In Touch says, and they note that the two have been necessarily apart due to work arrangements.
Just hours after filming on the NYC set of Arthur, in which she co-stars with Russell Brand, Jennifer Garner packed up her daughters… and bounded a flight back to LA and her husband…
It had been weeks since Jennifer, 38, had been in LA with Ben, 38, and it appeared she couldn’t get home fast enough…
“Ben was so happy to have them home, he took Jen out for a romantic date to Malibu’s Nobu restaurant that weekend,” says a friend.
But it hasn’t been all smooth sailing for the couple, who recently celebrated their five-year anniversary. They’ve been in counseling since last year to work through some of their issues. “Ben was never the marrying type,” says the friend. “He is still a playboy at heart, and now that he’s getting closer to 40, he seems to be going through a midlife crisis.” But the therapy sessions seem to be working -for now. “Ben battles demons, but does his best to keep the marriage going. He loves Jen and adores his daughters, so he’s making it work.”

The thing that made me think these two might be having problems is a giant 7 carat diamond ring that Garner has been wearing occasionally. Many of you noted that it looks like a guilt gift from Affleck. He may have done it just to be sweet though and it’s a damn nice piece of jewelry! Who are we to knock a guy for giving his wife a ginormous ring?
Ben looks kind of annoyed in these photos but maybe we can chalk that up to the fact that there are several paparazzi bothering him while he’s trying to have a day out with his family. A lot of stories claim couples are having problems based on the fact that someone looks pissed off in photos. Imagine the things these guys shout while they’re taking the pictures and it’s easy to see why the celebrities are mad.
The Town is coming out on September 10 and marks Ben’s second film as a writer/director. He’s going to star in this one too, and it looks damn good. I hope that it does well at the box office and helps herald Affleck’s comeback. He’s had some minor successes but nothing big yet.

Making for quite the enjoyable family outing, Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck were out at the park with their daughters in Los Angeles, California on Saturday morning (July 31).
Finding the perfect spot to set up shop, the "Juno" actress and her "State of Play" hubby tended to little Seraphina as they watched eldest daughter Violet and her pals participate in a kiddie soccer match.
Doting affection onto one another after quite the busy past few weeks, Jen lovingly kissed Ben throughout the course of the on-field action.
Once Violet's match came to and end, the family of four played around on the playground equipment before loading into the car and heading home.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck just celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary. For the momentous event, they went out to dinner, just the two of them. These are photos of them leaving the restaurant. CB noticed that Jennifer seems to be wearing the gigantic diamond ring that Ben bought her last year.
Here?s a question: did you think they would make it this far? I didn?t it. I honestly thought Ben?s self-destructive nature would win out, and he would send this marriage down in flames. I thought he was too damaged from Jennifer Lopez to jump right into another long-term commitment. I also thought it probably wasn?t the best idea for Jennifer Garner to get pregnant like two seconds into their relationship and then run off and get married. But I guess this shows, sometimes shotgun marriages do work out, and they can be very happy.
Although they don?t look all that happy in these photos. That could be because they?re being photographed, and they don?t like the paparazzi. Or it could be that Jennifer?s hair is really bothering her, because she seems way more into her hair than her husband. Maybe I?m just overanalyzing (I do that). Do you think Ben and Jennifer will make it another five years? Or are they already white-knuckling it?
