He?s one of the biggest sports stars on the globe, and David Beckham has just become an ambassador for Sky News affiliate BSkyB.
The English soccer stud signed a ?long-term partnership? with the UK satellite pay TV operator for a whole host of initiatives.
Becks will ?encourage participation across Britain and Ireland in grassroots sports activities,? as well as appear in a slew of advertising campaigns for Sky?s various events.
Also on the BSkyB team are athletes like Jessica Ennis and Bradley Wiggins, both Olympic gold medalists.

The fashionable footballer looked cool and casual as he held his daughter?s hand and led her around the downtown area to do some errands.
David has been in China as of late promoting the country?s soccer industry, and he received a warm welcome everywhere he went.
Becks told press, ?It is something that we are very passionate about changing the mentality of the league and bringing youngsters through and making this league as popular as some of the big leagues in the world.?
?I've always been a fan of Chinese football because I think the players are very talented and they are very passionate. When you see the excitement throughout this country when the team has done well you see how important it is to people. I am excited to make a difference.?

Joined by his adorable daughter Harper Seven, the English soccer stud strolled around the west end of town while attracting plenty of attention from fans and shutterbugs.
David kept things stylish in a long navy coat with dark wash jeans and boots while his little one donned a Pink baseball jacket with jeans and striped wellies.
Meanwhile, Becks lost his cool with St Etienne's Brando during his recent game with Paris Saint-Germain. Thank goodness nothing messed up his pretty face!

The 37-year-old footballer warmed up in a red jacket and black pants before stripping down to his blue shirt and shorts for the game.
Recently, a sexy ad for H&M featuring the handsome hubby of Victoria Beckham running through the neighborhood in his undies was marred when rumors of body doubles for close-up shots arose.
However, in an interview on live French TV, Becks was asked about it allegation and replied, frankly, "No. I can say the crotch is mine and the backside is mine as well. Someone said that I had a stand-in for my bum, but no, I can confirm that?s my bum."

Looking like quite the English gent, David Beckham strolled the London city streets on Thursday (January 17).
The soccer star made for quite a handsome sight in his long black wool coat and black trousers while carrying his cap in hand.
Recently, the former L.A. Galaxy player decided to move back to the U.K. with Victoria Beckham and their children.
According to a source for Heat magazine, it was the reunion with the Spice Girls that ultimately convinced the power couple to return. The insider revealed, "Her renewed friendship with the girls has played a massive part in her move home. They are a great support network. She's also looking forward to spending more time with her mum Jackie and sister Louise. They're so happy she's back and they can see the kids more often."

I don?t really have anything to say about these photos other than ?OH MY GOD!? I love Harper Seven Beckham so, so much. These are pics of David Beckham running errands in West Hollywood with his daughter. She seems like a really chilled-out baby, right? Like, I never see looking tantrum-y or anything like that. She always seems to be like, ?Yeah, I am adored. That?s cool with me.?
I love that Harper?s parents are so hands-on with her ? and with all of their kids, really, but it feels like David and Posh just can?t get enough of their daughter. Harper is about 14 months old ? she can walk, as we?ve already seen. But she still gets carried all of the time (which is fine, she?s still just a baby, I wasn?t saying that), and she still gets to run endless errands with her mom and dad. Barefoot! In my mind, David had issues with getting Harper?s shoes on, so he was just like, ?Fine, we?ll do it barefoot.? But he still managed to get the bow in her hair. I love that.
Oh, and he took her to lunch too! OMG. God, that?s so cute. Just a daddy having lunch with his baby girl. I think my ovaries just started crying.

Olympic fever has certainly got a hold of David Beckham. After his appearance in the opening ceremonies, he's been spotted all over the Olympic grounds cheering on the athletes.
On Saturday (August 11), the British soccer star took his boys Brooklyn, Cruz, and Romeo to the 10m platform diving event at the Aquatic Centre in London. They cheered on British diver Tom Daley who earned a bronze medal in the event.
Beckham wore an Adidas Olympic-themed jacket with khaki pants as he clapped, cheered, and watched intently.
You can be sure the 37-year-old will be in the crowd at the Closing Ceremony, watching his wife Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) perform. The spectacle will be a three hour concert event billed as a Symphony of British Music. It features 4,000 performers, including Queen, Jessie J. Madness, George Michael, One Direction, Pet Shop Boys, Dacey Bussell, and the Spice Girls.

The stunning couple looked lovely as the 38-year-old beauty rocked a green and black dress while her hubby looked dapper in a tailored suit as they watched Britain?s Andy Murray take on tennis legend Roger Federer.
According to reports, Great Britain is in a so-called ?Murray Mania? as they back the hopeful to take home the country?s first men?s single title in more than 70 years.
In other news, due to a penalty issued on June 30 against the San Jose Earthquakes, the LA Galaxy soccer stud will not be playing in his team?s game against the Chicago Fire this evening.
Beckham was accused of "unacceptable and detrimental" conduct during the match when he kicked several balls in the direction of Sam Cronin and the referee while the game was stopped.
